If your looking for value for money then this is a amazing projector. Really great picture and all the functions you need to set up. Really liked the keystone adjust as we had to have it at a slight angle to wall so this helped a lot. Sound is good enough on its own but so easy to set up through a speaker system using a simple audio cable. Could not afford a super expensive projector but I never expected this one to be this good for the price.
We have really like this projector. At first I couldn’t get the image clear but then found the adjuster next to the lense on the main box. Image quality was very good. We have used this both in the day and night. Connected our amazon device to it. Really good. Projected into a white wall.
The fan isn’t too noisy and the speaker on it is fine. For a movie night we turned it up quite load so I imagine for a noisy room you might need an additional speaker connected.

Took me ages to search for the right projector at budget price, and must say I’m very pleased and impressed with the picture quality, ideal projector for my mancave. WiFi was easy to conect but Bluetooth limited, I have read reviews regarding noisy fan on this projector, yes it’s noisy but easy drained out by the built in speakers.
Bought to livestream Glastonbury 2021 from laptop. Great picture and sound if linked to a small PA system via headphone socket.
Remote and instructions not too intuitive as the picture reversed it self when pressing ok and turned from English to a foreign language I didn’t recognise possibly Russian in reverse but managed to get it back. A bit of fan noise but acceptable. Deal breaker is the picture which is excellent for the price projected onto 120″ screen. Nice case and accessories.

I was looking for a Projector for use as a Home Cinema for watching Movies and Sport and decided on purchasing the Wimius K1 Projector.
I am delighted with my choice.
I find the Picture quality is great and the sound from the built in speakers is very good. The projector has 2 x HDMI ports and 2 x USB ports which was perfect for the equipment I needed to connect.
Works great and excellent value for money.
Had a small scratch on the lens but doesn’t really effect viewing and they also sent me some money back as compensation for it.
The fan is a bit loud but you can’t hear it when a movie is playing, it works surprisingly well in daylight! We have tried football and the PS4 and we were happy with the experience of both.
I spent a lot of time researching and trying different projectors and this was the best due to the image quality (native 1080p and supports 4k), keystone functionality and bluetooth capability to link to external speakers (the internal sound is respectable too even if you don’t have bluetooth speaker). A good projector for the price and a welcome addition to my home theatre setup.
We are on a budget with my roomates, but we still wanted a good movie experience.
WiMiUS K1 came out of nowhere, after more research in this product we decided to buy it, and it was a first great experience yesterday night.
A bit of fan noise but when watching a movie you don’t hear it anymore.
If you don’t have a laptop you can still use a USB key and that is a really good point.
1080p native resolution, that was what we wanted and here it is.

Excellent for the money. Good picture quality and surprisingly good sound. Needs a darkened room but that is hardly a surprise and doesn’t need complete darkness… The fan is a bit loud but the noise largely disappears when the sound track plays… I used it with headphones and it was great… Getting Bluetooth Speaker. Easy to set up and adjust the screen… No need to point straight on to screen or centre in the room, obviously within limits. Gets 5 stars overall.

Extremely happy with my purchase and the picture quality is well above my expectations. Need a screen to get the full petencial of the K1 as my first time use is on a blue wall with daylight coming through the curtains. Very easy to setup as the controls and interface is clear to use. Sound quality is very good for internal speakers and loud to but if you want the full experience hook it up to surround sound. You can stream off your phone, tablet or pc or like me using firestick as the USB port which has two. Two hdmi ports as well and a headphone jack. Did alot of revision before buying this model and you won’t be disappointed. Amazon are doing the best deal with money off also. Looking forward to using this in the garden for movie nights and gaming!!.
I bought this projector to breathe new life into film nights for the kids. I’ve never owned a projector before and, after reading many reviews (including a particularly useful review on youtube), I chose it as the best option within my budget. The projector is easy to set up and focus. It’s home screen menu and remote control are easy to use. It has 2 HDMI ports into which I’ve connected a dvd player and a Nintendo Switch (both of which worked well). Its picture and speakers are good and you can connect to an external speaker using a male to male headphone lead if you choose. I’m happy with the projector and, more to the point, so are the kids.
This is the first time I’ve purchased a projector, and initial thoughts are that for the price, this appears to be a great purchase! The build quality is very good, and more importantly the picture quality is excellent. I am very impressed with the keystone and was able to project well from the side. I’ve not yet got a dedicated projector screen, though on my test I projected on a roller blind, and was impressed with the results.
Setting up the projector is pretty straight-forward, the menu is intuitive and well set out so its pretty easy to set up without using the manual.
Bluetooth was straightforward, and was able to link easily to my Alexa speaker. My initial test was via HDMI off a Sky Q minibox, and again, connection was easy.
I’m looking forward to testing this further, though I think that this will make a great external projector for having family and friends round in the garden for outside movie nights!
After spending a long time researching the best budget projector I chose this WiMiUS K1. So far, I have not been disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised with how good the picture quality is, even in a room with quite a bit of ambient light. The fan noise is noticeable with the sound off but as soon as the built-in speaker is used, I couldn’t hear the fan at all. I attached my Roku to the projector which worked great – I did need to change the audio settings to Stereo as using some of the apps, the sound initially didn’t work.
Very good projector , I’m pleased with how good it operates and the quality of picture etc. The size of the screen is huge and the correction works good too (for angle of projector) The sound on the unit is good really too. Bluetooth does work. The only minor blemish is the remote for sky and fire stick won’t work with projector .
Don’t be fooled by those 50 projectors out there, this one is SO MUCH BETTER. It projects wonderful clear images in REAL 1080. You can scale and tweak the image quickly and easily through the menus. Even the built in speaker is surprisingly loud and clear.
I have zero complaints about this projector. It’s exactly what I wanted without having to spend a bundle on it.

TL;DR:
It is not a high-end projector, but as a first time projector buyer I’m very happy with it.
After a great deal of research into projectors ranging from 30 into the thousands . This projector ticked all the box’s .
The connectivity is fantastic with both android and iOS ( both work) .
I primarily use mine with a firestick , and as the unit has 2 USB ports I dedicate 1 of them to powering my stick .
The second HDMI is used for my PlayStation leaving the final usb for movies , pictures and power-points( should I ever feel the urge to look at a spread sheet).
The last remaining port was to be used for an external speaker but I have no need .. the fitted speaker is large load with plenty of base notes.
One feature I find particularly useful is the 4d keystone , rather than balance and level the projector I simply fire the screen from anywhere and adjust each corner to form the desired shape .. excellent .. the picture is bright and crisp .
Overall one happy customer .. not a 3000 projector but defiantly one of the best in its range

At this price, it’s a really good choice. Wireless image and sound transmission works fine. I am very pleased with the picture quality on the 100 inch screen. It could only be a little quieter.
I’m using it as a television. The picture quality is very good and even in semi-darkness the brightness and contrast are more than enough for comfortable viewing. I sit within 2 metres of the projector and find the fan noise acceptable. Initially there was focus drop off on the extreme edges of frame which went when the projector was repositioned so that it was orthogonal to the screen. For the money I think it’s very good value for money.
This projector is a good picture reproduction . The sound is not so good its a very weak speaker at only but what do you expect for the price – the sound can easily be boosted by adding a aux speaker ( works best ) Blue tooth to a speaker and streaming a movie – I’ve yet to be successful on that – but plugging in a aux speaker and the sound was great and aligned to the movie.
Although the projector can connect by WIFI – there are limitations as you cant stream Netflix, Amazon prme or Apple TV – which is what you would want from a projector like this. I could watch Amazon prime if i used a HDMI /lightnig connector – but sort of defeats the objective of having a wifi enabled projector on the roof but you can only hard wire to it. It does run the mirroring for Watching live TV through your device, so be sure to download movines and dont really use streaming services unless you have a good wifi conneciton .

Having purchased for a birthday present and briefly testing before gifting I am happy with my choice. Feature full device with wifi and bluetooth supported. 1080p Native resolution provides excellent picture clarity and compares very well to competitors at twice the price. I would highly recommend this projector to anyone who would like to experience the full home cinematic effect.
After buying a 80 projector and, even without high-hopes, being incredibly disappointed, I was coming to terms having to spend a mini-fortune on a really good one to do movies any justice at all! However, I took a punt on this and was very impressed. Very bright (still need darkened room though), great colour accuracy and the speakers are good enough to need not bother attaching an external. Highly recommend.

My 1st projector so I can’t compare it to others but for the price I’m well happy with the quality of both picure and sound. I dont have a screen yet but the picture looks decent enough even on my grey wall. I couldn’t find a projector in this price bracket even close to this ones specs of lumens, contast ratio, lamp life, native resolution, bluetooth and wifi features. Great bit of kit, absolute bargin.
For my home cinema experience this projector is perfect , only downside is the AV output for audio could have been a little more louder. Picture brightness and brilliance is very good!

This is my first projector, has I wanted to have the cinema effect when I watch my movies, the picture quality is great, you can adjust the screen size by moving you projector closer or further away, depending on your space area.
The sound quality is excellent, and I don’t need to use my sound bar.
It also supports xbox/ PS consoles, any TV stick.
Projector is a very solid build and like the look of the Gray cloth top and Blue /Red light display when starts up. Compact design and feels a high quality item at a low price. Picture gets better in lower light but still good in ambient lighting. Speakers sufficient for a small room and no lag in picture. Connected to Lap top via HDMI no issues. Remote is responsive and home scree n easy to navigate. Overall very happy with the purchase.
Excellent projector for the price. 1080p quality is great fro netflix and prime. I have it ceiling mounted in an outdoor space and it’s plenty bright. The Bluetooth speaker connectivity is great, less cables. Overall well worth buying.
Great piece of kit for the price, nice bright picture, sound is good, but I connected to external speaks for a bump anyhow. Just check the keystone settings meet your needs. Some setting are not available in combination with other modes (zoom) or (side) so make sure you can locate it to suit.
I also had a faulty remote with order but customer services sorted that quickly and efficiently, all good 🙂
For 180 pounds, you can not complain. It does exactly what it says in a decent quality. It’s my first projector and I’m very happy with it. I will be purchasing a fire stick so I dont have the hassle of using my laptop with it though. The speakers that are built in are surprisingly good. I just need to buy a mirror for when I want to project it onto the ceiling. I.would recommend for a starting projector.
Fantastic projector, bought for my sons birthday and he is over the moon with it. thoroughly recommend it. I meant to mention it is actually a 1080p projector not a pretend to be so the quality of the picture is amazing. Please bare in mind it a projector and not a 4k TV. We had the image set at about 70 inches and it was bright and did not need the curtains closed to view, which to me is amazing in its self. We found that the hdmi worked best for most applications. If you like us use an Amazon fire stick this can be plugged into the HDMI slot and powered from one of the available USB ports which cuts down on the cables. Overall well done and thanks for the extremely high quality product.
I used my projector for a film night and it was perfect the picture is excellent quality and brightness is excellent I would definitely recommend this projector to anyone and it works excellent for mirroring your phone
After spending way too long researching projectors I decided on the Wimius K1 for just under 200. It has full 1080 HD native resolution – which when projecting a 2 to 3m image is pretty vital. It also has sufficient picture adjustments (brightness, zoom, keystone plus others) to get a really good quality image. It has enough connections to cover all the scenarios I envisage using it for (HDMI – for BT Box, DVD or Firestick and Bluetooth for occasion connection from a phone). And the sound quality is more than acceptable through the built in speakers – but obviously improves if hooked up to an external sound system.
Basically, this projector is at the budget end of what I would consider the minimum spec for a projector, but it delivers a really great experience for the money. For me it hit the goldilocks spot of bang for bucks. Time will tell if its built to last – but it seems solid enough and has a 3 year warranty – but for now I’m mighty impressed with what this device delivers.

Bought this for my man cave! For the price I wasn’t expecting much, but the picture quality is outstanding! The sound for me is just fine as I have the projector ceiling mounted and sit directly below it. The video I have attached is on a taupe wall connected to my sky box when I tested it and the picture is still excellent. Highly recommend.
I purchased this projector after I have returned a cheaper one (around 80) which had very visible pixels, low resolution and audio. This one instead has outstanding resolution, it’s full HD for real, has amazing audio quality, and it’s perfect for watching movies and playing videogames (how I use it most of the times). It also comes with a practical protective bag to bring it around. I think this is the best product at this price and with this dimension. If you want to spend less, you’re going to compromise on quality, audio, brightness.

The picture quality is fantastic, and the sound is really great when wired. However the Bluetooth latency is so bad nothing is watchable. Unfortunately the Android Miracast didn’t work with my Oneplus5 phone either, so I have had to return it.
Fan noise is noticeable, but not awful.
If a firmware upgrade was available to fix the Bluetooth lag this projector would be perfect. For the record I have also tried the equivalent spec Yaber and Toptro and they also both had exactly the same issues.
Eventually I bought an AptX LL (low latency) bluetooth transmitter for 30 which is much better and plugged it in the audio out.
EDIT: I have upped the star rating to reflect their excellent customer service. They have gone out of their way to try and help solve the issue and provide software updates and even offered a voucher towards paying for the dongle. 7 stars for service!
I have done loads of searching for the right product and this is perfect! Main one was the need to project from the corner of the room which this does with ease! Loads of connections to hook up everything you would ever want. Really impressed with the build of this and the sound for the in built speakers. For the price point you are going to be hard pressed to find better!!!

Picture quality is excellent and brightness is great too. Very easy to set up. Have plugged a Chromecast in and that works perfectly.
In built speaker is much better than anticipated. I bought an inexpensive sound bar to pair with it but I have sent it back as in built speaker works just as well.
Bluetooth sound connection is great. Just need to figure out how to pair more than one set of headphones so that the kids can all watch and listen at the same time.
Overall highly recommended.
The whole kit (projector, screen, PC, quality bluetooth transmitter and receiver) has cost me in the region of 600 and we’re using it in the evening as a large TV or watching films. Of course as the evenings become lighter we’ll either need heavier curtains or go back to the TV. As I said, knowing what I know now I wish I’d bought a quieter projector and I imagine I’ll keep this for a year and then give it to one of my offspring ……. and then buy a quieter one.
I did a lot of research before I bought this projector. It was a must that I had the 10,000 contrast as well as the high lumens as I was planning on using it in a lit summerhouse however my lad has already claimed it for his Xbox in his bedroom so I am going to buy another one. I have been really impressed with the sound and the clarity and it connecting it to my WiFi was really easy. The projector feels good quality and is amazingly quite. Overall I am very happy and definitely made the correct choice.
Ordinarily I’m not a big one for reviews and to be honest I was sceptical about the number of high reviews vs the low price point. I was wrong. I’ve had this projector for a few days now and already had a lot of use for movie nights. Hopefully long term reliability is also a strong point.
I was very surprised at the quality and the ease of setup. The user manual could be better with its translations etc but that’s common place to be honest with manuals. Thankfully it was so simple to setup I didn’t need it anyway. Genuine 5 stars.
This bluetooth version when connected to a PC and a separate speaker has a sound delay, although adding a Bluetooth transmitter apparently should sort this out. Sound and picture works well and in sync when connected to Fire stick. A great find was to connect to Virgin TV Box in a different room or outside via a long HDMI lead and use the Virgin remote app.
My 55 inch OLED TV recently failed & was irreparable. I had been using an old 42 inch LCD TV whilst I decided what I wanted to do about replacing the OLED. Whilst I would of liked a larger screen than 55 inches my lounge layout did not really allow this. As I have a light grey wall at the opposite end of the room to the TV, I thought this would be OK for projecting a large image onto. However I did not want a permanent installation or a projector on a stand in the middle of the lounge. After reading & watching reviews, the Wimius K1 seemed to fulfil my requirements. I ordered it on Amazon & it arrived the next day. My setup has the projector at the side of the room, instead of the middle, which is made possible by the 4D Keystone adjustment. Whilst the inbuilt speaker is extremely good, I wanted the sound to come from the direction of the picture. This was possible by connecting a Bluetooth speaker to the projector. I currently have a TV set top box connected & are able to watch live TV, recordings & streaming services, all with impressive results. You can also connect the projector to your Home Wi-Fi, which allows iPhone mirroring, which works well. I do not have an Android phone but it is possible to mirror that also. Overall I am very impressed by the features & performance of the projector, that I will not now replace my TV & use the projector when I want a large screen experience.

– could do with back level screw; my projector is on a shelf and it needs to point down just a little for best picture placement.
– because it’s on the shelf, it would be great if it had at least one HDMI connection on the side to connect relatively bulky fire stick so it’s not squashed between projector and wall.

This is a second brand of projector that I got after previous one started making horrible noises.
Got worried at first with K1 when the displayed picture had bluish horizontal lines across it, but quick contact with the seller and they sent me a replacement one in no time.
Big plus for customer service (I steered clear from the previous brand, when they asked me to fix the failing projector myself)
After buying a projector of a different make that didn’t have the keystone feature, I decided to try this one out, No regrets. The projector is very easy to adjust to any room. I do move the projector from room to room. It takes a few seconds to focus and scale the image.
The projector certainly offers that cinema look. It is clear enough during the day but it truly shines during the night.
Very easy to use the mirror function on my Huawei phone, although certain phones may not have the mirror projector option already on their phone. I found connecting the laptop easy and I thought the image would be downgraded or pixilated, but it was so clear, perhaps smoother looking.
Delighted with my purchase. I know it will be used around the house.
I’m not sure what I was expecting when I bought this projector as we didn’t have a very high budget and I had to avoid the 1000+ well known brands. I thought maybe the picture might not be great, or it might not be bright enough. But to my surprise, it’s great! Set up within 5-10 minutes and the picture was crisp, clean and high quality. Would definitely recommend!
Bought the projector for use in the garden as an outdoor cinema, have only tried it indoors so far but very easy to set up with my Sky box and seems to be a really good picture quality.
This is my 2nd projector, its design and looks are pretty good. It had come along with a sleek remote control , which is very easy to operate. I set it up in my small living room. Projected on 120inch screen. Approximately less than 3mt away. Connecting it to the wifi was no problem and paired & connected Bluetooth to my Home theatre very quickly.
I am very pleased to find its brightness and sound quality too good and loud. The picture quality is excellent, very sharp and good as HD , when you watch you won’t find it blurred.
I love this product and feel like watching movies everyday on a big screen rather than watching on my tv.
I’ve been looking for a native 1080p HD projector and checked out a lot of models and reviews before opting for this one. It comes well packed and looks a premium packaged product, love the inclusion of a carry case!
The 4D keystone adjustment is by far the easiest and quickest to adjust from the two projectors I had before and enables you to have a perfectly balanced screen even when the projector is placed on either side rather than in the middle. If you place the projector in the middle there is a zoom function to get the correct screen size you need.
The built in speaker has good bass with depth and works very well. I have also paired my bluetooth JBL Flip3 using the built in Bluetooth and it works seamlessly with no lip sync/delay issues.
Some reviews state the fan is noisy for this and every other listed projector on Amazon! But I find the tone of the fan is lower and not as frantic and high pitched than the two previous projectors I’ve had and lets not forget the price range of this projector. The fan noise is really not an issue for me and only noticeable during quiet segments of the film etc.
I tried out the Screen mirroring from my MacBook Pro and iPhone which was pretty easy to use, just connected the projector to the wifi and selected screen Mirroring on the iPhone/laptop!
We’ve been watching via the sky multi-room (wifi) mini box – projecting onto a Duronic 2.5 Metre 16/9 screen and the images and sound are really very impressive, it gives a true home cinema experience. Brightness and contrast is good even during the day with the curtains open and superb with the curtains closed and at night time, we will be using this outside in the garden and when we go camping.
Overall I am very pleased with the WIMIUS K1 and at the price can recommend it.

We swapped this with a cheaper version initially purchased, and so glad we did! The picture quality is brilliant, it’s so easy to set up, and the sound is great. The sound is actually better from the projector than from the Bluetooth speaker we connected too.
It’s used outside, and does need to be dark to see the picture on the screen, but that’s what we expected. All in all, really impressed.
Easy to set up and link to various devices. Superb clarity and decent sound from the projector itself. Links easily to a bluetooth speaker if you prefer a further boost. Screen share works but has been a bit glitchy from my phone. Don’t use it that much but Firestick and Xbox cover the bases for us. Sociable, enjoyable addition to the household. Enjoyed football well enough too.

The movie sound from the projector is really good, I thought I’d need an external speaker but I don’t.. I also thought my textured wallpaper would mean I need a projector screen… I dont
As you would expect it’s best in the dark, but the color only gets slightly washed out if I turn my lamp on or I’m trying to watch a movie in the afternoon with sunlight making the room too bright, I can still enjoy a movie though the color is just muted.
You can hear the fan.. But during the movie you don’t notice it and I am going to suspend from the ceiling which should make it quieter.
Plays most movie file types, audio can be rooted through aux if it doesn’t play on the unit.
Have two USB and hdmi inputs is really useful!
Overall I am absolutely made up with my decision and don’t regret it even slightly.
The wimius k1 is an amazing projector for the price so many options on the market I’m glad I chose this, the picture quality is super bright even in day time, the speakers are loud enough that I didn’t need to connect my soundbar.
I can easily mirror my smartphone thru WiFi connection and watch netflix and prime videos without any lag, I have connected my fire stick tv 4k and it works perfectly well, you just need to change the sound setting to stereo.
The fan is a bit loud but once you play a movie you won’t notice it.
Overall I’m very pleased with the projector for the price.
I originally reviewed this projector a couple of months ago, but in that review I bluntly reviewed it just on specs and not the price. I’ve since looked at another 5 projectors at similar price points I now feel my original review was overly harsh.
In summary -this isn’t a high end projector, but the price is actually very good when you look at the feature set. originally I bought this to replace my Optoma EW628 (which was fairly high-end with a poor feature set). This Wimius was much cheaper for the initial purchase price, and comes with a bunch of features that still surpass a lot of expensive high-end projectors today. It was also really simple to setup.
Important good points. First the sound. This is the best I’ve actually heard from built-in projector speakers. It’s really good -and better than a BenQ I recently tried out that was hugely expensive compared to the K1. The projector brightness I would put on par with others out there at this price point, it’s not as bright as you might expect from the 7000 lumens quoted, but it’s still good and perfect for partial or low light environments. Being LED, the lamp life is also exceedingly good. Lots of ports (twin HDMI that enables both PC and Firestick output), couple of USB (helpful for powering said Firestick) and an audio jack 3.5mm output. The projector has Wifi for miricast, and bluetooth for sound. These wireless features do suffer from latency, and that’s not uncommon -I suggest wired connections which was fine for me as that’s how my original setup worked.
The ONLY bad point for me was the fan noise -it’s about 40dB. And there is no “eco” mode. This isn’t a problem if you are using this outside, or for gaming/action movies/football, but for it can be distracting for standard TV viewing. But, in context, I’ve tried 3 other projectors in this price point and this was actually the best.
Overall I think this model is priced well given the feature set. The fan noise fairs pretty well compared to other projectors in this price bracket, and I’ve yet to find a projector at 180 that can compete with this. The only projector I tested that I would say overall was better than the K1 was a major brand projector that cost just under 600.
So, I’d say if you are looking at a projector and don’t have the cash to splash out one of the major player brands, go for this.
This projector has incredible contrast and brightness for the price. The home theater experience is phenomenal. When playing 4K video, even though it’s not native 4K, the image quality is impressive. I recommend an external speaker for a better experience, but the speakers that the projector comes with are fine. The noise of the fan, it is acceptable, although if you use it in a bedroom at night with low volume it can be a bit annoying.
I have used it in my living room during the day and the image quality, although lower than in the dark, was acceptable. I recommend this projector, to this day I have not found any better for twice the price of this one.
Really good value for the quality. Order shipped very quickly and even for someone like myself who is no tech whiz, set up was a cinch. I bought the Firestick and was able to immediately connect to my Netflicks account without a hiccup.
Picture quality is great – just make sure it’s dark enough. Have only been using the existing built-in speaker which is sufficient. Yet to try connecting to my Bluetooth speaker.
Also like that it comes with a lightweight carry case for easy storage. Really happy with my purchase.
We bought this projector to watch sports and movies on and also to use when gaming. We were not disappointed. It’s a fantastic product. It comes in its own bag with a remote control, has clear instructions, is easy to set up and has brilliant picture quality…which is of great clarity, even in a bright room…can’t wait to use it outside! Would recommend.
This projector works very well, even in daylight. It truly displays the image at 1080p as advertised. Overall, it is very good quality. It is well designed and does its job. The only problem we have noticed is when Casting from a Mobile phone, sometimes it loses connection or the display jerks/pixelates. Other than that, we are very happy with this product.
I had serious doubts that a projector for under 250 would actually be any good, but I had received a 50 gift voucher from a friend and the reviews seemed fairly good. I bought this projector and an 86″ screen last week, and I have to say that it’s been transformational. We’ve been using it in our sitting room and in my office, and it’s like being at the cinema. The picture is sharp, and it easily connects to my Roku device, which has Netflix, Amazon Prime, iPlayer, and many other streaming apps installed. The 10W built-in speaker is surprisingly good and more than enough for my sitting room, but I can also connect a separate Bluetooth speaker with subwoofers. I do wish that the power cable were a bit longer (perhaps twice the length), but, overall, I’m very happy with this projector.
So was abit skeptical at first about buying a projector for my bedroom as I’ve never had one before. It came on Sunday and let’s be honest I’ve not moved out of my room much since, this product is Brilliant the best thing I’ve ever spent money on.. the picture quality it Brilliant and the sound is very loud which is great, you can hear the fan at first but after a while it becomes second nature to you.. its worth every penny you will not be disappointed!!!
For the price and size of this projector the picture is outstanding and is a native 1080p image.
For the first time I must admit the clarity in each corner or the screen is as clear as the centre of the of the image.

I bought this projector and couldn’t be happier with the quality of the image. After spending hours looking through all the different projectors on Amazon I’m glad this was the one I went for.
On top of that 2 days after getting my projector, my dog chewed and broke the remote that came with it. I emailed Wimius support and straight away they replied saying they will send me a replacement remote free of charge.
Overall a very good projector and great customer service as well!
Ordered this projector thinking it would be adequate for what I wanted it for but have been very impressed. The ease of use is great, took 10mins to have a spot on picture on our 105″ screen. Picture is brilliant and the adjustment to the individual corners is great, had it completely lined up in no time and we have the projector in the corner of the room. Connected it to the Apple TV and now can watch prime, Netflix, Disney and you tube all with excellent quality. Together with the sound bar I also purchased it’s a great setup for a great price for someone who like me is really missing the cinema.
I wanted to do something similar for her when we moved house, she always used to say bring the living room 50 inch TV to bedroom, I don’t want you to spend money on another TV. However I always felt that you do need a TV in living room when the whole family gets together.
Few years ago our friends built a cinema room spending 1000s of pounds on a projector, speakers, furniture etc. I always fancy a projector but cost has been a deterrent factor, when you think of a projector you always think of brands like Epson, Viewsonic, Optima etc. none of them cost less than 700-1200. You also wonder where I am going to put the projector, does it need to be placed at 180 degrees angle to get the right image, will it be bright enough to watch during the day light.
A simple advice would be why don’t you buy one and see if it works for you, that’s how I started looking for a budget projector and after reading some good reviews of Wimius projector quality, and as you can see they are very reasonably priced, I finally ordered one. Initially we started watching the projector placing it on an iron table, with few books underneath the projector for gaining height. My wife was very impressed with the image and sound quality, we already had a 4K Roku stick for which you need HDMI port, I have been using the streaming sticks since the launch of Chromecast and always used the TV USB port for power source, Wimius has both HDMI and USB ports to power any well known streaming stick in the market from Chromecast to Fire TV.
My first hurdle was crossed, wife and mother both very impressed with the image and sound quality. What bowled them over was size of the image, better than Bumrah’s yorker. You are looking at 5 figures sum if you want to buy a TV of same size. Image was also bright enough, there was no need to pull the curtains down and make the whole room dark, you could easily watch all your favourite programs during the day. The projector is definitely native 1080p, when 4K Fire TV gets going it picks up the display as 1080p.
Another reason why I ordered a Wimius projector was because it has 50 keystone adjustment which means you can move the image 50 degrees vertically or horizontally to correct the image if you have to place the projector slightly on an angle to the wall where you are projecting the image. I ended up using only 10 degrees vertically but it is handy if you are not 100% sure where you are going to place the projector.
Now to the placement of projector, we debated where, fixed or flexible, distance for image size etc. One more thing which I need to point out here is why I picked Wimius projector is that I am not restricted by the size of image, without a doubt this projector can project 300 inches of image with ease without any pixelation. My advice would be a 300 inches image can be overwhelming and you may not have good enough distance between where you are sitting and where image is projected, go for a size which suits the room size. Big is not always the better.
We came to a conclusion that we want the projector to be in a fixed location, out of our way and would want to watch our our favourite programs by just switching on a power button. The best location which can tick all our boxes could only be ceiling. I can write another paragraph here to discuss what research I did before I bought a ceiling bracket, but this review is for Wimius projector.
We compromised our ceiling light and fixed the projector in middle of the ceiling, see attached pictures. We added some down lights to the room. The outcome was beyond our expectations, projector was out of our way mounted on ceiling, it can throw an image which is big enough to give cinema effect as per the size of our room. In order to make sure that projector is not on standby all the time I added a smart plug which I can easily switch on and off from my mobile, all I need to do is just grab the Fire TV remote and have cinema experience every day of my life, specially during the pandemic when you cannot go out for movies and on the other hand major streaming services are creating impressive contents which can be consumed within the comforts of your own home all you need is a Wimius projector to convert it into cinema experience. I am sure soon we a will have a spectacular Christopher Nolan creation releasing straight on Netflix and you can truly enjoy it in style with this projector.
Last but not the least, warranty and customer service. Both have been excellent, I had a small issue with my projector and I was dealing with Emma from customer support, response has been very quick and she resolved the issue 100% to my satisfaction.
In this review I have tried to focus on practical aspects of owning a projector and things you need to look out for, you will find plenty of forums to read the technical details, hope you find this review useful. Two of my close friends who visited me when the lockdown was relaxed were so impressed after looking at Wimius performance that they both ended up buying one projector for their kids and I helped them out best as I could.
I have done quiet a bit of research on all budget projectors and made a choice to get this in the end for following reasons . Having received this product I am rating each feature so that you can decide for yourself .
1. Picture quality : product claims 1080
Native , 10000:1 contrast and 7200 lumen . The picture quality is not replacement of a TV but pretty good . I will not settle for anything less .
2. WiFi and Bluetooth : it was hard to find a device that had the ability to connect to a mobile screen without wires and a sound bar via blue tooth in budget . This one does it very easily .
3. The sound volume is very good . And you can connect to an external speaker via blue tooth.
4. It’s compact and has a premium feel .
5. I can’t speak for light bulb life and I won’t complain if it doesn’t last for 100,000 hrs as claimed

Great in lockdown. Picture, brightness and sound (via Bluetooth soundbar) makes for a good cinema experience. Two minor points: projector fan not loud enough to disrupt but audible nonetheless. Slight delay on bluetooth speaker for some apps, in which case I use projector speaker.
I places the Projector about 5 to 6 meters away fro. the wall, and also had the room lights on.
The video quality would be many times better if the lights were dimmed or turned off.
Replaced my newly bought Yaber Projector.
This beats it by far based on clarity and brightness.
I can do nothing but recommend this product.
Only cost me 199, which is so cheap for such quality.
Also comes with a high quality Storage Bag.
Remote does not come with batteries, but that is such a minor.
Kids love it.
Misses and I will have Movie Night Tonight.

Projector is great! I bought it before Christmas to replace an old projector that died. The Wimus has worked great so far. The family is enjoying lots of films together now, rather than disappearing off to the corners of the house to watch separate things on their iPads! Its almost like going to the cinema…
The in built sound is adequate to watch something with, but is much better connected to the Surround Sound so now using that.
Screen brightness is not as bright as the add suggests, but at the price I am very happy with it (I am using a 120″ screen).
The family have been streaming loads of films together, and I like concert DVDs so when I get a look in have been going through my library. Big thumbs up for the money!
I have been studying projectors for quite a while, and eventually choose this one based on 7500L, (for good picture quality), keystone correction, (to allow any size screen in most of our rooms), Bluetooth, (to sync up to sound bars), and WiFi, (to allow mirroring).
All 4 functions I really wanted all work best, but for me the keystone correction is amazing. We have a small viewing area in the kitchen, and I managed to navigate the keystone correction to fill that space perfectly. Even in daylight the picture quality is very good.
The added bonus of a bag is also a nice feature.

I spent HOURS learning about ideal home projector specifications and then exploring how all the different projectors available on Amazon (and elsewhere) measured up. Then of course, you look through all the reviews previous buyers have left. After all this the WiMiUS K1 7500 WiFi Bluetooth Video Projector came out on top. Watched a few YouTube reviews on it – just to be sure – then went ahead and ordered it.
I am not in anyway disappointed with it. In fact me and everyone in my household are delighted with it. The build, picture and sound quality are all super. It really is like having a cinema in your own home. And a lot cheaper and more flexible than getting a huge tele instead. Plus the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth features are handy to have. Although the sound is so good wouldn’t think there would ever be much need to connect up Bluetooth speakers with it.
The fan noise isn’t too bad. And you can’t hear it at all when you are watching something. Even if you are sat near it. The price is great. It’s 5 stars all around from me.
This is my first projector and so far very pleased with it. Have played a movie view a USB stick and the picture quality was excellent even against the kitchen wall. Can’t wait to get a proper screen for this. Sound quality seems OK and not bad seeing as the speakers are built into the projector. If I want real high quality sound I can always Bluetooth some speakers to it. The unit is surprisingly compact and comes in a neat carry case.
So far I have no complaints with this projector the sound is good the picture is good it’s not too loud with fan noise and I am currently using it facing the wall from an angle and able to adjust the keystone to make the picture straight on my wall which is good
There’s no flickering, no dead pixels; nothing but bright, vivid colours.
The sound is by no means tinny and has a solid bass sound giving it a worthy depth. So, I haven’t felt the need to use an external speaker (which is what I used to do with my first admittedly, much cheaper projector which this one has replaced).
My wife is not a football fan and, so, I bought that first projector to watch football in an upstairs room.
In terms of both sound and picture quality, this one is, most certainly, a lot, lot better than on my previous projector which I bought in order to check whether I’d actually make use of a projector.
What a difference this new projector has made to the football-viewing experience!
Additional comments:
1. The ability to make 4D keystone adjustment that enables you to have a perfectly right-angled screen even when the projector is placed to either side rather than in the middle could be very useful. I’m fortunate in that I have a projector trolley that I can place right in the middle of the area I want to project the image onto.
2. I have used the screen mirroring facility to watch football that is available only on my phone and nowhere else. Its good enough but not as good as through the hdmi from satellite broadcasters.
3. Wi-fi: im really not sure what I’ll use it for but the projector connected to the house wifi system in seconds.
4. I haven’t felt the need to connect the projector to an external speaker which, as I said above, I used to do with the previous projector. So, I haven’t checked out the Bluetooth capacity yet.
Very impressed with the quality and usability of this projector for the price, a few gripes, but it is probably hard to get anything better at this price point.
If you are looking at projectors in the ~100 category I would advise spending a bit more and getting this instead for a far brighter and clearer (though not perfect) picture.
Likes: Bright enough to use without needing complete darkness, huge picture size, horizontal 4 corner keystone adjustment, wireless WiFi connectivity (only tested with phone), fan noticeable at first but easy to ignore; the Home Screen and remote controls are nice and easy to use; the carry case is also very nice.
Slight gripes: limited adjustments for picture quality (had to reduce sharpness and contrast quite considerably to get a decent picture from a firestick), would like to see hue and colour temp adjustments; the depth of focus of the projector is not huge, which means that despite being able to make a rectangular picture on the wall if you’re more than ~20-30 degrees off axis the edges of the image will be soft and out of focus; unsure if the headphone port is working correctly – I will edit my review in the future after testing this; the built in speaker is ok, but you’re better off connecting your source (in my case a fire stick using Bluetooth ) to a separate speaker set (I haven’t tried using the Bluetooth output from the projector. It would be great if the lens cap could connect to the projector in some way to stop it going walkabouts.
Great product, really easy set up, now we’ve got a cinema at home. I am using the projector for a few days and am really surprised by the quality of the picture and the easiness to navigate. A great feature is that you can place the projector on the side and adjust the screen. Build quality is very good and the travel bag is very useful. I use the wall as a screen and manage to get a 100-inch screen from just over 3 meters distance. The sound is loud enough and is really great that you can link via Bluetooth external soundbar. Also, a handy feature is a wireless connection so you can cast directly from the phone.
Having read multiple reviews on numerous mid level native (full) HD projectors, the choice and options were simply overwhelming. After considered several options & reviews I found that the overall package offered by the K1 was the best choice and duly placed my order.
Set up was a doodle, with a clear and intuitive control panel, and I was viewing input from a variety of feeds within minutes. So far I have tried inputs directly from a sky tv box, both HD and SD, and via a fire stick, both via HDMI feeds. I have and cast from my phone and again all the above was very easy to do and completed with minutes.
The only things I have left to try are connection to a bluetooth speaker and viewing files via USB.
I had doubts about picture quality but they were unfounded, you can tell the difference in picture quality between the HD / SD feeds, but that is to be expected. At present I don’t have a way of getting a 4k source to the projector so can’t comment on that aspect.
The speaker output was far louder than I imagined and was sufficient to watch the programmes I trialled.
Overall I am really very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.
Great picture quality and brightness from this Full HD 1080 projector. Speaker sound quality is good too. The machine looks well-built and solid. Fan noise is noticeable when first turned on but, once the movie is on, tends not be a distraction, especially when the in-built speakers are on. Small size and light weight make it very portable for mobile presentation purpose. A very good product from Wimius overall. I owned other projectors before, including BenQ and Optoma. This projector, with its quality and price tag, represents very good value for money. Won’t hesitate to recommend it. Thumbs up!
If projecting wirelessly isn’t your thing, it also has a number of ports for various different methods of input – HDMI ports and a couple of USB ports.
The projector has good stereo sound so, as yet, we haven’t considered looking into a set of speakers or soundbar to use with it – but we may look to do so if the projector starts to get used by more members of my family other than just myself. The projector can be paired to other output devices such as bluetooth speakers and headphones. Doing so is simple via the simple and intuitive user interface.
Overall, we’re very happy with our purchase. The projector is very high quality. The images in review don’t really do it justice so I will upload better ones taken from a better camera when I get the chance.
Picture quality is very good considering the price of the projector. Not as good as a TV but almost as good as going to the cinema.
It has both WiFi and Bluetooth so allows easy connection for mobile, tablet or PC. The sound from the projector is OK but as it can connect directly to a Bluetooth sound bar this is the route I have taken.
It is compact when in use and comes with a carry case which is ideal for storing the projector away safely when not in use.

Great addition to the games room. I have another projector in the house but not a native 1080p one.
The difference from 720p to 1080 is notable although its jot a groundbreaking jump.
The projector comes with a carry case, one compartment for the projector and then a removable divider for the accessory’s. in all honesty I don’t need to transport it so I’ve taken the divider out and used it for other things.
After watching few times there is a black mark that is circled in red colour started to show. Apart from this issue the projector picture quality is very good in day and night. We will be returning because of that issue.

It’s fairly large r than my previous projector so it produces more heat so if your gonna use it your bedroom don’t have the thing close to your body or anywhere near you’ll actually get hot.
All of the inputs are on the back so it’s somewhat difficult to plug in once you have it set up so make sure you plug everything in and then place it and never move it. Since all of the inputs are in the back it makes it difficult to have pressed up against a wall allowing for maximum distance between the screen and projector, so maybe don’t use thisbina. Bedroom maybe a living room would be better where you have way more room.
This Wimius is a sleek and decent looking projector and not heavy. I honestly think the price is very reasonable and good value for Money.

It’s a well built, sturdy and classy looking projector. Not too bulky and bit light and pretty portable too.
It can be sat on a flat surface or can be ceiling mounted, both woks as charm for me. 4 point keystone correction works effectively.
The neat inbuild software’s user interface is very easy and clear and even a child can start using that without any need to read the instruction manual, it took me just a few minutes to set it all up.
It connected to my home WiFi network seamlessly without any issues. Bluetooth connectivity is a also perfect.
For pairing, make sure that your device is in pairing mode before you start scan in your projector to scan. I also tried mirroring through miracast and I can confirm it works very well.
Being 7500 lumens, the picture is certainly bright enough in this projector, it works as a treat in dark room and even in day light the quality is awesome. The image quality is excellent in my opinion.
Many ports are available which are detailed in the listing so I used a HDMI port to hook up my 4K firetv stick. 4K imagery and audio from this projector is superb and I recommend it to anyone.
Internal fan noise isn’t noticeable while playing my movies but that is very common in projectors.
Considering everything that I get from this projector and the price I paid, I consider this projector is a bargain and I recommend it. Superb value for money.
Really impressed with the picture quality. We bought this u it to replace another as we offer movie nights as part of our business. Sound quality is good. Tested on laptop, sky q box both work seamlessly. Tried on iPad and iPhone via IOS cast, nit able to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime through this due to app restrictions but good for you tube. Would definitely recommend.
All in this is exactly what I was looking for when setting up a decent home cinema experience
I got this projector to upgrade after trying one of the sub 100 720p projectors. The old one was ok bit suffered from low brightness, poor audio and clear pixelisation when you blew the screen size up big.
This is a massive leap forward and the exact upgrade i was looking for. The photo attached shows the image brightness at 2pm with natural light pouring through the windows. The actual photo is quiet washed out due to my camera and the quality is noticeably better in real life. Its not got a TV quality contrast but its still really quiet good for the money. you could comfortably use this during the day and with decent curtains to block out the bulk of the light you’d be able to get a really high quality experience.
The projector outputs at 1080 and once blown up to 130inch doesn’t show signs of pixelation which was the big problem i had with the cheaper unit.
The audio is great and I found i dont need to use any external speaker system to get decent audio when watching films.
The keystone correction is really easy to use an means I dont have to have the projector central when using and gives me more options when setting up the room.
I’ve got it hooked up to a chrome cast for steaming films which works great or you can use the building miracast/it’s cast functions.

Native , 10000:1 contrast and 7200 lumen . The picture quality is not replacement of a TV but pretty good . I will not settle for anything less .
2. WiFi and Bluetooth : it was hard to find a device that had the ability to connect to a mobile screen without wires and a sound bar via blue tooth in budget . This one does it very easily .
3. The sound volume is very good . And you can connect to an external speaker via blue tooth.
4. It’s compact and has a premium feel .
5. I can’t speak for light bulb life and I won’t complain if it doesn’t last for 100,000 hrs as claimed
6. Value for money ; for around 175 (post discount) this offers super value .
Watch outs
1. The fans do make noise , which is irritating when you are seeing photographs but gets ok when you have a movie on.
2. The length of power cord and Hdmi is less than what I would have liked .
3. It’s clear that in china similar .. actually same products are sold by different brand. Probably the only difference is packaging , and user manual . This one is no different . Don’t be surprised to see same product by other brands and pricing
Overall very happy with product and pricing . It’s a great addition for any family wanting to enjoy outdoors or some home theatre fun.
Quite posh and modern looking projector which has build in wifi technology. It has 7500 lumens which makes incredible impact to quality of the projection and projected images colours.
Very bright and live colourful images. Using wireless wifi can be screen mirrored or feed video threw the mobile directly without using cable.
Projector has dual build in speakers which very powerful for its size , also possible to connect with Bluetooth to headsets directly, which is ideal to keep voice down and also avoid cooling ventilation noise.
Projector can be placed on side , no need to be on middle, it has 4D digital keystone technology, which allows to project from the side.
Overall very powerful projector which 7500 lumens and also equipped with wifi Bluetooth.
Love it and recommend it especially as it is at a great price and we worked out that the bulb could last 11 year if on constantly.Magic!!!
