My little girl LOVES this HP set! It’s really fun and well made. It was easy to assemble too. The only thing that wasn’t good was that the bed was missing. Unfortunately she didn’t open it until after the return date had passed, so there’s nothing to be done. Make sure you check your box when it arrives for all the pieces! (Also, I’m hoping the company will see this and send us a bed!!)
Bought for my daughter for her 8th birthday and she’d watched the first 5 Harry Potter films.
She doesn’t normally play with themed character toys but sure has this one.
Lots of cool features and it feels sturdy.
I have two complaints.
One that it’s impossible to get one of each character toy and they’re all a bit expensive.
Two that the characters don’t stand up very well on their own. I’m sure the magnetic features could have still been achieved if the characters had a base plate.
This product is great and comes with everything you need to enjoy the castle and characters. However, we were disappointed that some of the items arrived damaged. Harry’s wand is bent and so is the throne. Because the plastic is soft and rubbery, I don’t think we’ll be able to fix them. More careful packaging would have fixed this.
This is such a great toy for every little Harry Potter fan. My 3 year old and 7 year old love it. Totally worth it!

I really like the Hogwarts castle and feel you get a lot for your money at 80 time of review, it was over 100 at one point.
The castle offers you the opportunity to create magical moments from the films and or books. Or great for free play.
I have three children one who loves Harry Potter she has read all the books and watched the films.
She did play with her siblings acting out scenes with Harry, Ron and Hermione. She is eight years old.
Her feedback was they are for younger kids, she prefers the bigger dolls. Age range is 5-7 years old. I would agree with that recommendation, maybe even a little younger with four year olds would get plenty of enjoyment.
My five year old enjoyed playing with his younger sister who can now say Harry Potter, like he is one of the family. My five year knows some of the characters from his older sister. He was able to recognise the figures and call them by the correct names.
He led play and used the characters around the castle to create his own story. The figures did fall over as he didn’t always stick them to the magnetic hotspots. The castle requires 3 AAA batteries for the ceiling lights in the great Hall to work and sound effects. Batteries not included.
My only criticism is Harry Potter is for older children not 5-7 year olds. Not all younger children will be aware of Harry Potter unless they have older siblings.
Plenty of accessories for your children to be busy for hours. Like the fact you have a variety of locations from the Great Hall to Moaning Myrtles bathroom to the sorting hat.
Looking at the product it offers pretty good value for money I also like the fact you can but additional characters to keep the magic alive at Hogwarts. This allows the product not to get old.
The size, this item is big. Make sure you have enough space before you buy.
I really like the product and the concept. The product offers a lot different options for play and expansion with additional products sold separately which keeps the item interesting. I think it’s marketed at an age group that wouldn’t know Harry Potter and the franchise unless they had older siblings. Why would you buy it for a child of 5 who didn’t know who Harry Potter is. If you have a child who likes Harry Potter or figures or dolls to play with they will like it.

My kids love this toy. I am sure the cost of the item is being associated with Harry Potter name. The toy is flimsy in parts and comes apart rather easily.

My daughter was so excited to get this for Christmas, but as we got everything out we realized Harry Potter was missing. Hogwarts castle without Harry Potter is kinda disappointing.
The quality of this item is very cheap and we are missing the bed.

Quite expensive unless on offer.
Whilst batteries aren’t included which is a bit annoying given the price we are happy that you have to have a small screwdriver to open the battery compartment – some protection for little ones with batteries.

Got this for granddaughter’s Christmas and it was a hit. She wanted to leave immediately to go home and build it.
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my Granddaughter, which she loves but while we were putting it together, the stickers and instructions were missing.
I bought this for my 4 year old for Christmas as she adores Harry Potter . She was very excited to get it and play with it . I paid 85 for the set, and considering how much you would pay individually for the extras I considered this worth it compared to the 70 set . However I wouldn’t pay more than 80 for this
There are a few flimsy bits which I do imagine will get broken but overall it seems to be good quality and I think most of it will stand the test of time with my 4 year old .
Overall I do consider this to be overpriced however all Harry Potter items are and when combined with the extras it makes sense to get this set .
UPDATE : my daughter has now been sick all over it and can confirm it is easy to clean up

La versione non deluxe costa meno su altri siti per si spende per niente, non offre la possibilit di giocare molto e acquistando i pezzi separati si spende di pi. Conviene la deluxe. This is a really cute play set but came without the bed.
It’s a little expensive, but it’s Harry Potter so that’s to be expected. It’s pretty well built. Overall satisfied with this product.
Pros: Very easy to put together. The magnetic activation buttons are neat! Love the lights and music! A lot of little accessories and really glad it came with the 3 main characters.
Cons: For how much this set costs, I expected something a little more sturdy. Any little bump, and it topples over. The tower attaches to the main castle, but doesn’t stay attached while moving. The classrooms look like they should snap in, but not really. The chandelier in the dorms doesn’t stay put very well either. The plastic for this seems kind of cheap.
Also disappointed that there aren’t anymore classrooms to add on to this, even though there are connections for them. I get it allows you to move them around, but then you have empty space and empty connections. It would be cool to get Hagrid’s Hut to go with the care of magical creatures part. Most of the extra characters you can get are unavailable everywhere, except for Harry, Hermione, and Ron, or include classrooms that are also included with this set. Not needed when they came with the set.
I still think this is a must have for any HP fan, though. Just hope they add more stuff to the collection.
It comes with 3 characters, Harry, Ron and Hermione, each of them are well designed and they have a set of magnets in their feet. (They do topple over if not stood on a magnet though).
The castle itself is easy to build with you just needing to apply some stickers and click various parts together until it is fully built. You do need to add 3 X AAA batteries to make the Great hall lights work when you press the house crests.
In this set you also get 3 extra rooms, potions rooms, myrtles bathroom and the magical creatures room.
When you place the characters magnetic feet onto the pads it will make various things happen in each one.
At the time of writing this set is 85 and you get additional characters and rooms (each room is about 12). The castle set alone with 1 character currently goes for 70.
So this set is actually quite good value.
This is an amazing set. It’s actually very large as well and detailed. I have been lucky enough to get this and some figures from the same wizarding world collection and they are all compatible with it which expands the playset further. The quality is fantastic. Well made and robust. Reminds me of the kind of toys I had in the 80s. Plastic is detailed and durable. It was simple to set up as well and can be stored compact when not in use. My son was over the moon the recieve this. He is still playing with it over a week later and his friends have loved playing with him too. You get the 3 classrooms with this which u think is an Amazon exclusive so won’t be in shops. I think this is one of those toys you need to keep and will become somethihg or a collector’s toy in the future. If your kids love Harry potter and want a big playset but don’t want the Lego one then this is the best thing out there to get.
My whole family is obsessed with Harry Potter and its our every Christmas we rewatching it all. I ordered it for my kids for Christmas but its not only them that excited about it. Me and my husband ware amazed by it when it has been delivered. So many details and accessories. It has even sound and lights effects which is mind blowing. And its huge, solid made and great attention to details.

This set reminds me of the Peppa Pig castle my daughter had when she was little. It has had ‘magical’ spots which, thanks to magnets, were mowing or something was popping out.. Similar things are in Harry Potter themed castle. If we put any of the three characters included in the set, we get magical things happenes.. This castle is full of surprises and comes with lots of things to set it up, furniture, small gadgets, rooms. Quick assembly of the castle is required along with 3xAAA batteries for the light/music features.
Materials are high quality, strong. Set can be assembled and dismantled as many times as we want but obviously with care, not to break any joining points. It’s quite big playset, takes space though..
Price is high but that’s to be expected as Harry Potter is quite popular around school children.
I’m not a big fan of Harry Potter but I have one child in family who is crazy about Harry and the magic so Christmas present is sorted from me 🙂
Got for my newphews for Xmas they are HUGE HP fans they love to reread the books and watch the films a few times a year, this will be an amazing surprise for them for Xmas I cannot wait for them to open it and get playing. I have had a look inside & it is a very good HP set for fans, well made, I will join in the play when the time comes 🙂 🙂

This Wizarding World Harry Potter Hogwarts Castle set is really good. The quality of the materials, design and detailing is much better than I expected. The full set is sturdy, bigger than imagined and with incredible details. With an almost 2ft tall castle, 3 Classroom Playsets, Moaning Myrtle’s Bathroom, 3 figures and 22 accessories there is a lot included for kids to recreate some famous scenes from the series, and also to imagine new ones! With lights, sounds and movement-based effects which activate upon placing figures in certain spots, there is a lot of cool magical elements for the kids to be excited about.
More items can be purchased from the range separately to add to the set and expand the setup even more. It is a great alternative to the more expensive popular brand making it fantastic value for money with the same level of excitement, fun and hours of imaginative play.
There are a few versions of this out there, this one in particular has the most accessories and is only on Amazon to buy.
Its big and will blow any Harry Potter fan away.
The set itself is high quailty build, there is whole range out there so you can add to this with more collectiable figures.
3x AAA batteries are required (but not supplied). You’ll also need a little screwdriver to get into the battery compartment. When you press the crest button above the fireplace, the ceiling lights up in the different House colours, the fireplace lights up and crackles and music plays. This Amazon version of the set includes extra characters, extra accessories and three additional classrooms that you won’t get as standard when you buy the set elsewhere (they can be bought seperately). Those extra classrooms are “Potions” with its bubbling cauldron, “Charms” with its levitating feather and Hagrid’s “Care of Magical Creatures” with Bowtruckle and Baby Thestral.
Three characters are supplied — Harry, Hermione, and Ron. Each character is about 3 inches tall and is nicely detailed with some basic articulation. It’s a bit of shame that they don’t stand up by themselves, there are however little magnets on their feet that allow them to stand on hotspots dotted throughout the set. Each hotspot does something special — like triggering the lights and music in the Great Hall, making Moaning Myrtle jump out of the wardrobe, levitating the feather in Charms and making the Cauldron pop open in Potions. There are lots of little accessories and various bits of larger furniture included, like a four-poster bed for the Bedroom, a sofa for the Common Room, and Dumbledore’s Throne for the Great Hall. There’s so much to do here that I’m sure any Harry Potter fan — boy or girl – will be thrilled to receive it. The age range is from five years up, but both my six and nine year olds are having a wonderful time playing with it. Because it’s so big they can both play at the same time and not get in each other’s way. I think it’s something that will be played with for years to come.
In all seriousness Ron came backwards, so I need to get in contact about getting him replaced, and they don’t really stand up easily on their own. But besides that this is great! It is the toy I would have killed for as a child and now I’m rather nervous about giving it to my own because I don’t want it wrecked.
