Got this set and a set 11 cheaper.Workpro nicely made and works has it should.Cheap set ,ratchet did’nt fit sockets (half inch drive) ,i filed it then 80% of sockets fitted.So “cheap” set is lower quality for the sake of 11…You gets what you pay for apparently..??
Bought this as a present last year. Reports back are very good. Had a very similar set myself and used it professionally for years with no complaints ( I still have it and still in use even though I retired 7 years ago professionally ). I have just bought another one for my brother. Most certainly more than adequate for any amateur enthusiast. To find fault is hard and simply nit picking.
I purchased this after struggling for years with odd tools when maintaining my bike. This is easy to use and I’ve used it on all the bikes in the family. It’s a heavy old box, that’s for sure, but the number of ratchets and sockets is what does this – you can’t have all these without the weight. Ideal for a bike workshop or using for self maintenance on a car or other vehicle, putting furniture together and other general tasks.
This is a really comprehensive set of tools that will really get in close to the problem. They appear to be very sturdy and well thought out. The set is a replacement for a cheap unit that broke. BTW, an excellent present! I will be getting several more units.
Quality seems good. My partner has used it once already. The variation in sizes is good. It is again cheaper than other well known brands and does exactly the same job. comes in a nice sturdy case and each part has its own little section so they don’t all jumble up together.
Great quality, cannot fault, however I’d recommend you put a bit of cardboard or foam inside as the smaller sockets tend to come out when transported, nothing more annoying than figuring out what slot it goes back i
Had bought this kit last year. Been using for routine servicing of fairly new parts no issues.
When using however on harder graft parts the tools don’t manage well at all. Was attempting to remove a sump plug using a torch head, First use of this socket and it totally failed. Be careful when purchasing as not as good as it’s made out.
I’m impressed with this set for 60.00. Chrome vanadium sockets 1/2 and 1/4 drive. Good finish and fit. although you’re not supposed to…I have used a few of them on an impact gun without any problems. A small criticism is the six point (apposed to 12 point) and the thick wall of the sockets could give some accessibility issues. But I’m being fussy and probably comparing them to more expensive and established makes. Overall I would recommend this set.
Although I have not actually used the socket set, I have looked at it and am quite happy with my purchase, I would say it is good value for money but I am not a proffessional mechanic so have limited experience of tools.
Only just arrived. Opened and its in a sturdy black plastic case. Opened up and its a very heavy and comprehensive socket set. More than I will ever need. Was well impressed ro say the least. Proof will be in the use. Not got a job for it atm but I’m sure looking at the quality that it can more than handle it.

Appears a well made and comprehensive set. Enabled me to work on awkward bolts on my close coupled cistern. Been wanting to treat myself to a new socket set for some time, I feel that I have made a good choice at a good price.
There is other socket sets slightly cheaper than this with ‘strenthened steel’, but this is high quality chrome vandium(last forever), with just about everything you need to repair a car… The wrenches are superb quality and the mechanism is very good… Clicks are less than 10 turns, and has a locking mechanism to lock the sockets in so they don’t fall… I’m very impressed with the set, and saved me whilst on holiday… The only critical point is that it doesn’t have an adjustable spanner, as sometimes that’s the only thing you can use… But this and an adjustable spanner will be in my car forever now… Nice case too, but be warned that you need to keep the plastic cover inside to keep the tools in place…
Don't buy the slightly cheaper copy!!! And KEEP the inside plastic cover!!!

This item arrived promptly and my first impressions is that it felt durable and capable of doing anything I wanted….and I mean ANYTHING!!!!!! For goodness sakes the socket wrench/ratchet was so heavy It was like it had been made from the pieces of of Thor’s hammer after Hela destroyed it. I would definitely recommend this from my initial first impressions, but I just got it and will update you guys if it falls apart after repeated use.

Buy whatyou can afforfd. Buy this. 100% I have had quality kit break very easily. This coped with tons of force without a wimper. Its is comfortabletohold and you get a positive feel when using on bolts. There islittle to no slack in the wratchet. Again if this is what you can afford then BUY THIS I dontt hinkyou would go wrong

Everything looks good. Plastic carry case looks sturdy ,strong catches. Tools themselves look good but not used any yet so I can’t say any more about their durability.
If they perform as well as they look then every thing should be fine.
For the price of 52 it’s pretty good value & it is a decent set of torque wrench screws.
The carry case feels durable & seems to keep everything in place when transporting.

Very good toolset. 9 times out of 10 you’ll have what you need in this toolkit. Great for home use if you have a car or motorbike or a bicycle. However I would be apprehensive using this for trade use.
I can think of few words other than say this is truly a worthwhile investment if you are into DIY or your own Car maintenance, You have almost every tool and socket you’ll ever need ; some of which may not be needed for years ahead, but a well packaged product worth every single pound spent, and everything organised within a self contained case, all your sockets are set in the correct location by the size numbers being moulded on the inside edge of the carrying case and just to be aware not to open the case upside down, as the sockets housed in the lower half of the carrying case are contained in place by a plastic moulded shield held in by 4 chrome cross head screws, and if you remove that “moulded” shield which you probably need to do at some stage, then all the sockets will scatter into the top half of the case and you’re going to have lots of fun sorting them back in their proper location. In conclusion this is a dream and well chosen DIY product at a bargain price. Cheers!

Bought this set for my husbands 30th, he really likes it as been after a socket set for a while, the price is great, sturdiness seems great but one of the little ratchets doesn’t work properly (doesn’t lock) 🙁 it’s a really good set part from this one bit.
Definitely a good set of tools. Had for 3 months. Not one bit has rounded off. And had to jump up n down in the wrench to get a wheel nut off and didn’t break. For the price u cnt beat this set. I use it every day working on cars
If you’re looking for a top end quality set such as Snap-On, this isn’t for you. But, if you’re a hobbyist like me and need a decent socket set which has everything I need without having to sell a kidney, buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

It’s a shame that the 1/8 socket pieces don’t clip in the case whatsoever, they “fix” this by screwing in a plastic sheet so they don’t fly all over the place in transit. Once you remove this sheet to access the bottom half of the set and you position the case vertically (as you would to carry the damn thing) they immediately fall out of position. Rather irritating and a painfully simple flaw for a 50+ product.
In their defence, decent quality tools in themselves, just let down by short sighted box design.
Socket set is good quality with easy push-button action to attach sockets. Like long extension bar provided easy job of accessing battery stabiliser bolt. Would recommend.
arrived sooner than expected . It has an excellent range of devices . I needed a couple of specific once’s to carry out a task in an old car we are restoring . It worked a treat .

A minor gripe is that 2 of the sockets are slightly too small for the case and fall out when you’re carrying the case.
This is a minor inconvenience offset by the fantastic value for money this set represents!
Good price and fast delivery. These are a present for my grandson who’s just started working for Halfords as a mechanic. They have to supply their own tools so this is an ‘early’ Christmas present. I’ll await his feedback on how good/useful this set of sockets is in a professional environment.
On the whole a great tool set. Been very useful for my car and other bits and bobs over the last few months. Only issue has been with the pin in the angle attachment.
The Ratchets seem to be reasonably good products as do the sockets maybe not for every day use but for general diy maintenance should do the job, However the Torx bit seems to be made of butter one use and it’s mangled didn’t even manage to loosen 5 bolts all in all though for the money seems alright il replace torx bits with something more sturdy

This was my first socket set purchase. I bought it specifically to work on the brakes of my car but I have found that it’s useful for absolutely everything.
The tools are very sturdy and have a great feel to them.
The one qualm is not all the sockets stay in their position in the box, so when you turn the box vertically and then open it, some might be out of place.
Other than that I’m extremely happy with it.
I suspect these will last for a very long time.

I would of give 4 stars but I put the 15mm bit on a bolt and it snapped, for the price it’s not too shabby the box is strong to hold it all in.
