If you are looking after your car, but you are having issues with water and energy supply this is an amazing idea. Don’t expect miracles as this is a portable device, but if your car does not have a 2cm of grime or anything on the paint you can easily wash your car with no issues at all. (Even with 2cm of grime you could still do it, but it will take more time and more water to do so). I just tried it today and guess what, forgot to charge the battery but still managed to rinse, wash and rinse the car again with just a one bucket of water. I would definitely recommend this produc
I bought an extra 4ah battery but haven’t needed to use it yet. The pressure generated is good and I bought it to wash my aircraft at the Airfield without water in my location. Not as powerful as my mains pressure washer but I don’t need it.
Perfect for the car. Not as powerful as a mains power jet wash, so won’t damage seals, paintwork etc. Just what I needed.
Great for a portable cleaner, not as powerful as a mains/hose variant but this is to be expected. Good battery life and light weight. Perfect for car cleaning where the hose don’t reach!
Happy with my purchase, easy to use, and a reusable price. I had seen one in use as a friend as one and dose their cars with it this is why I bought this particular brand.
Great product, was amazed how powerful this is , also great with the 45 min fast charger too , buy this it’s grea
Absolutely love it, one if the best things I’ve bought. Perfect for cleaning the caravan on the gentle setting and cleaning the grime off the patio on a finer setting. Easy to set up, quick to charge and use.Highly recommend
For 8+ years I’ve been using a Kingfisher 8L High Pressure Sprayer thingy to soak and rinse my motorbike.
I recently upgraded my car to something worth me taking the time to wash by myself rather than taking it to the local scratchy carwash. But, even though I use 2 bucket method to wash my bike, the old hand pump sprayer wasn’t going to cut it for washing the new car.
So I got the WG630E.1, mainly as it has the bigger battery and the brushless motor.
I did have some trepidation after reading some of the reviews, but I had the feeling it was more user error than a bad design. Trying it today for the first time I snapped everything together and once the water made it’s way up the pipe it worked great.
Sure, I’m under no illusion that this has the power of a 3kw Krcher, but it’s a million times better than the Kingfisher’s I’ve been using for almost a decade.
Spent most of the afternoon washing my bike and car and still had plenty charge in the battery to spare.
Deep clean of the car too. Full decontamination wash of the wheels and barrels. Car and bike both foamed (with IK 12 foamer) and rinsed all the nooks and crannies before 2 bucket washes.
The only thing I didn’t use it for was rinsing the SDOC 100 off the chain of my bike as that’s a slow process and would have wasted water. The old Kingfisher was resurrected for that job.
I used the 25 setting 95% of the time with a little 40 for quick soaking and this thing fairly flings out water. That said it still only used about 40l of water in total which is amazing for the amount of washing and rinsing I did today.
Although this is perfect for my application, it is not perfect and there are a few things that I thought were rubbish.
0, 15, 35 & 40 all work great, but the “Soak” setting on the nozzle was pants. Didn’t seem to do much of anything.
When getting up and under into the wheel arches or deep into the wheel barrels my hand would sometimes move up the handle and accidentally switch it to Eco mode. I thought the battery was on the way out the first time I did it.
The clip on the hose is a great idea, but it doesn’t grip the hose well enough. Needs to be a better design.
Other than that, I’m over the moon that I can now properly wash and rinse my vehicles.
I’m sure the bike and car are happy to get some proper TLC too 🙂
Don’t expect the same performance as most mains powered washers as you won’t get it. You also need the extra rotating jet if you want acceptable performance. My Wife found it easier to use than mains powered jetters as there’s no cable to drag around and no big machine. I expect the included adapter to handle jobs where’s there’s no mains water is useful for some but not in my case.
I don’t have access to an outdoor tap so was searching for ways to access a water source with reasonable water pressure, after looking at a few options I settled upon this.
This gadget has solved all of my outdoor cleaning problems. I am able to thoroughly wash my car with 2 or 3 buckets of water taken from my water butt, no more hoses attached to the kitchen taps, and better still the water I use is free and unlike tap water, the rainwater doesn’t leave any watermarks on my car, even if I let it air dry. I have also used it to clean grimy paving slabs, and it does a decent job on those too, and it’s great for giving my mountain bike a quick wash down after coming back from a muddy ride.
The machine itself is quite heavy compared to a normal pressure washer lance, but it’s reasonably well balanced and easy to manoeuvre. The brushless motor isn’t too loud and in my opinion, it puts out more than enough power to handle most jobs effectively.
Overall, this is a great bit of kit and one of the best gadget purchases I have ever made.
From walking out my door with a soap water bucket, an empty bucket and the hydroshot. 30mins later I walked back in. Car was done and everything cleaned up and put away. I live in a top floor flat and wile there is an outside tap there is no power. I normally allocate an hour plus to wash the car but only 30mins and much less hassle with the hydroshot. I did it from buckets 2 fresh water buckets totally for a jag x type. Also had the soap water bucket separate. I now have the snow foam part 12 off ebay for real worx item. Also a https://smile.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000LFVSMI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_P9M4KSR6C93XX9S7AHTC?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 this bag holds it all well and won’t mind getting damp.
This is a powerful and very adaptable pressure washer which I bought to use on my motorhome whilst travelling. It is not a substitute for a mains powered washer but the ability to fill up a bucket and wash the van off-grid is fantastic. I think this is a cracking tool, I have bought the shampoo bottle and the best accessory, the flexible head, which transforms the washer. The battery lasts for two washes of my 8m van but I have another (non OEM) battery which is as good as the Worx one for extended use. Highly recommended.

This hydroshoot is just perfect for the weekend worries. That’s all the power u need to clean a car. As a car detailer, I clean my car once a week and I can honestly tell u that this is a great toy. My advice is to you get the 6ah battery n ur done. Happy days
I love the product, very easy to use. My only slight disappointment is that it is not very powerful. I originally bought this power washer for our caravan and did quite a good job of it.
Great for cleaning the car . No leads to worry about . Shampoo bottle , brush . Various jets . Water from a bucket , no hoses great produc
It’s ok, easy to use, would of liked a little more pressure. It’s handy if you don’t want to drag out and set up the mains powered jet wash.
Bought it primarily to wash the car, I bought the snow foam bottle and brush separately. I have to say it did a great job on the car, ir wasn’t caked in mud but it was dirty. Used the snow foam attachment first, worked the foam in to the sills with a brush then rinsed off. It did a cracking job, no smears or marks.
I used it on the decking too and it was so much easier than getting the power washer out. As a comparison I also used it on the paving stones at the side of the house, they had a greenish moss film on them and I was surprised how it lifted it off when the jet was set to zero and 15. It took a little longer than my power washer but less faff.
Definitely recommend this Brushless unit. It seems slightly more powerful when attached to a hose but a 40 litre bucket of warm water brought the car up a treat.
The battery lasted about 35mins, ample time to wash the car and it was fully charged again in 40 mins on the quick charger.
Does a good job on the windows and sills too. Very happy with my purchase.
Husband likes this he uses it for some of his work he is window cleane
I knew what to expect as I’d watched YouTube presentations. I live in a flat with no access to water or power so it’s perfect for me. It’s not a power pressure washer but it gets the job done…also handy when camping/caravanning. Easy to use and battery life ok. I have car vac as well so batteries interchangeable.
I purchased this and 2 x 25 lt water containers to clean my large saloon car. Its great at cleaning the wheels/stubbon bird poo on a narrow spray or wide to just wet the car for waxing. I mange to jet wash/then soap with a mitten/Jet wash/off wax and rinse with 1 x 25lt. Really happy with results….great produc
Brilliant,I wish I had bought one years ago,my garden furniture,my patio, windows and surrounds, and the best of all my car where I don’t have access to a tap .
It is light weight, it is not the most powerful jet wash but it dies the job. You get through a large bucket of water very quickly! The option to use a fizzy drinks bottle not worth it emptied in an instant. Battery life not bad. Insignia sized vehicle took one battery. Washed off loose dirt one bucket gone and one third of battery used. Them covered car in Foam/cleaner and cleaned car by hand, cleaned wheels and wheel arches second bucket done. Rinsed whole car third bucket done and battery nearly finished job done

Easy to use, it’s not a light machine but the wife manages fine with it.
Seems more than powerful enough to tackle most jobs. The 4mah battery lasts probably a good 40mins.
My husband loves this so portable he uses a large lemonade bottle for the water, does grea
I was very sceptical whether a battery powered pressure washer could do the job I wanted, but bought this for the ability to use buckets of warm water as the source rather than connecting a hose to a mains powered unit. To my surprise this unit was powerful and more than capable of doing the job. Two 10ltr buckets give at lease 20 minutes of cleaning and the battery still has nearly 50% charge left. A valued piece of kit now, wouldn’t be without it!

Bought the smaller attachment so it isn’t as powerful on the dog. Ideal for when dogs get really muddy.
I tried it on the car it used a lot more water than I thought it would but if you have a big bin that will easily clean the car. I just used fairy liquid mixed with water in the canister provided and it covered the car first in thick soapy foam
Very impressed
Ideal if we have a hosepipe ban just stick the hose in waterbut
We did buy this for the dog mainly but it’s so easy to use on my patio and cleaning the conservatory, brilliant for bikes
We spent time looking for this and we are very happy with this product.
We are going to buy a Jerry can and put hot tap water in so when we have been on our long muddy walks we can shower her down with warm water.

The product arrived earlier than quoted on the Amazon Website to my Nominated Post Office. Well packaged, Excellent product but the only down side was the instruction leaflet. I had to go on to youtube to work out how to use the product, so the leaflet supplied was not very Helpful. Excellent in cleaning my car and have not tried anything else yet. If you purchase this product you must remember to run all of the water out of the tube that goes in the bucket to pick up the water. The only other down side was the folder able bucket which does not allow as much sucking up of water, as it is not deep enough. To over come this I have a large 5L Container which was part of a hand pump spray for car cleaning, also bought from Amazon. This works much better. Overall very satisfied with the Product and would buy again.

This product although very good overall does have some flaws which I think need to be addressed.
The soap dispenser when filled goes through the bottle contents in no time at all. The brush attachment will lock in position upon assembly but when using it to clean the car tends to twist and detach itself very easily from the main unit (very irritating).
As a female pensioner with arthritis in my fingers I was a little apprehensive about purchasing this product. I need not have worried because I had no trouble putting each section together and as long as I use both hands to hold the battery pack section I can clean the car, no problem.
I’ve had this gadget for a little over three months and have used it seven or eight times. The battery lasts long enough to wash the car with power over. Recharges in about an hour, which is much quicker than I expected.
The best part is the portability, fill the bucket and you can use it anywhere. Just love this toy!
Now working on cleaning the patio slabs. One word of warning, when jet spraying the moss in between the slabs, wear protective clothing because the sludge goes everywhere.
Used yesterday to clean patio slabs which would give it a good long run, as normalky only use for car or caravan. It worked flawlessly. Such a great little washer. I have other Worx tools, so batteries fit this and have found all my tools great quality from Worx so far. I only buy BRUSHLESS tools, so remember this as not all washers ot tools brushless.
I’m very pleased with this so far. It easily cleaned both my car, which was looking decidedly unloved and the cab section of my motorhome (a preliminary test before I do the whole thing), including removal of any algae. After these jobs, the battery still had two-thirds charge remaining. It hasn’t got the power of a mains jet-washer, but from my initial use, I think it will be good enough for most jobs and it’s certainly a lot more convenient – no heavy washer base to lug around, whilst trying to avoid falling over cables and pipes coming from every direction. Only negative I found with it was that although it doesn’t seem too heavy to start with, this does start to tell after a while, as does keeping pressure on the trigger – this could just be me, though. All in all, seems like one of my better buys.
I simply love this product. If you’ve ever been to a jet wash and worried that you’re damaging your car, then this is for you. Stick your hand in front of the lance and it will seriously sting but it’s perfect for all areas on the car. The soda-bottle attachment is exellent, I even walk around the house cleaning UPVC and guttering. The lance come with a folding bucket accessory and a soap dispenser which I’ve not yet used as I keep attaching it to my garden hose. I’m not sure the lance is powerful enough to clean a really grimy patio but it will certainly get rid of all the curface dirt. I really do like this product, it’s also exellent value for money when compared to other brands.
I have used the older version (brushed) and liked it so much I decided to get the brushless version. I think the higher price of brushless is worth it … seem to get significantly more water flow. In summer I have a petrol washer for the car but it’s no use in freezing winter for car cleaning. This product is and I mostly use it during winter months. It’s small enough to keep safely indoors and even in the coldest weather I can take it out and use it to de-salt the car. I use warm water mixed with ph neutral car soap: the worx copes with it fine. Such a versatile product. Love it!
This doesn’t of course have the power of a fully mains 120+bar machine -but you often don’t need that power. This scores heavily on its portability -it will do the car/bike garden cleaning etc. quite adequately and I’ve had success in path cleaning. It really pays its way on the allotment where of course the mains machines can’t tread. I particularly wanted the bottle attachment -which of course makes it even more portable – but haven’t had a lot of luck with that. Maybe its me but a fitted full 2 litre plastic bottle seems very unwieldly – and furthermore the spray when using the bottle attachment doesn’t seem as powerful -again this could be pilot error and I’m working on it. Overall a cracking piece of kit.

A nice sturdy tool but could do with a little more power, easy to handle and to put together but if possible put a little cap on the top to prime the pump takes a while to prime itself.
I read the reviews on these and I thank you all, if we didn’t have them we would have a pile of useless crap in the garage.
The pressure as reported by other reviewers isn’t fantastic, but cleans the salt off my motorcycles and if you adjust the pressure nozzle it does give it a bit more humph. I like the fact I can use any water source as I’m on water meter, so I use water butts.
The small battery last around 20 mins, the big one I purchased last around 30-40 mins
Overall I like the thing, easy to set up and put away.
Absolutely love this product. I got it mainly for washing the car and windows. It’s perfect for the job. This product is powerful but its not a traditional power washer replacement and its not been designed to be either. However for cars it is absolutely brilliant
The foam bottle works perfectly well and I find it more than big enough to wash the car with. I use it with Autoglym polar wash and it produces a nice foam which I help by going over with a wash mitt. I then blast it off with the hydroshot using spotless water.. no need to dry if you use the right water. Battery lasts a wash but I have 2 with mine, so I have plenty of battery power available if I need it.
Having a garage several yards away from my house with no mains power, I purchased this to try and make life a little easier in cleaning my motorcycle.
10/10 for portability
10/10 for ease of use
Easy to fit together & instructions to follow. Once battery was fully charged I made good use of it.
I used this on a bike caked in mud that had hardened over a few weeks and found that it was sufficient to knock off some of the bigger clumps but thinner layers needed some agitating with a brush.
I must admit that the nozzle needed to be on the narrower setting to increase the pressure and widened out when rinsing the soap off.
The key question most will ask is…”what’s the power/pressure like?”
I can honestly say that if you want high pressure like well known brands then this is not for you.
This is a battery driven pressure washer which works quite well for what it is. I was able to pre-rinse the mud off, then apply snow foam (with their supplied attachment) and then rinse the bike off again. There was still enough power in the battery to keep going.
It’s worth noting that this guzzles water so would be wise to be near a water source to refill or like me, purchase a couple of deep buckets to be your supply.
This is perfect for the tasks I wanted it to do.
As for something bigger like an average sized saloon car, caravans or boats too, then I can see that it should be a suitable portable cleaner.
easy to set up and use. powerful enough for most tasks
For a battery powered washer ut is very good. Battery run time is adequate for the machine. The fact that it draws water from any source is a big plus. I use it on a boat, drawing water from the canal via its built in filter. Dont buy this if you want to clean the algae from your patio it isnt tgat powerful. That said for wajing my boat or car away from mains electricity & water it does a perfectly good job. 1 major fault i found is that the lance that vomes with the washer is sometimes too long. I wanted to ckean the inside of my water tank & had to purchase an a adapter ftom ebay to shorten the overall length of yhe yool to allow me to get inside the tank.
The pressure is normal. Do not expect pressure equivelant to an electric (230 Volt) pressure washer.
Hey it’s very easy to assemble & it’s very user friendly.
I had to buy a battery powered one because of my home location and what I needed the product for.
I use it to get the muck off the car around the wheels and the wheel arches, basically where all the crap from the winter roads collects.
I also use it to clean my kayak, I sea kayak from my home, so it’s handy to use to blast off the corrosive salt water afterwards.
The battery seems ok if I’m honest, it lasts as long as the product specifications stated.
It’s a decent product, yes it’s not cheap but you get what you pay for right?
Recommended.
Good value for money and a good addition to my tool ki
Easy to use , quick to set up , very portable and great for washing the bike . Not the same pressure as a mains jet wash but great for what I want i
Don’t have access to a outside tap or hose so thought i’d try this to save money on going to the jet wash every so often, works just as i’d expect. Obviously not as powerful as a tap powered jet wash but for a battery powered portable power washer it’s more than capable of getting the job done. Just waiting for warmer weather so I can get out more often and use it!
I have just finished cleaning my van with the WORX WG630E.1, and have to say its a great bit of kit! Anyone expecting the performance of a mains powered unit will be disappointed, however then again to assume such a thing is pretty nave. I washed the van with a bucket of soapy water and a cloth first, then used two buckets of fresh water with the Hydroshot to finish it off. Results are very impressive, far better than the soapy water on its own. Good battery life (more than enough to do the van), decent weight, a quality feel about it. The supplied hose is a good length and allows for walking the full length of a car/van, I have also purchased the collapsible bucket and this is also a great purchase. Really happy with this item. Love Worx tools!
Very easy to clip together. Portable and lightweight. Simple to use! Brought to keep in the van for washing down bikes after riding trials. Powerful enough to get the bikes clean and ready to take home. Better having the two batteries and found that these last quite well. Managed to wash and rinse two cars and one motorbike on a battery and a half of charge.
Definitely worth a buy if your doing abit of clean . Love the fact you can attach a 2 l bottle and do what you need to do
I used to wash items in the garden i haven’t used on car yet its got the components that comes with the kit but the extendable lance that doesn’t come with the kit i can’t locate one.
I liked how easy it is to set up I have no outside water source battery charges up quickly and I manged to clean my car on 1 battery charge it was powerfull enough to clean my ca
Reason for purchase to wash my car. I am able to use warm water to rinse before and after soaping and this makes a big difference to final result with less effort.
Only dislike is the plastic bucket / hose retaining clip. Item is useless and does not hold or secure the Worx hose at all to the water bucket rim. Inconvenient and should be replaced or upgraded by Worx. Single battery life very good and quick charger supplied works well. Snow foam applicator supplied does a good job.
Overall with the exception of the hose clip value for money.

I used this product to wash my truck whilst working away . Kept my truck nice and clean . Very happy
Hi have only set it up and tried it in the bath it’s got loads of pressure for what I want it for not washed car down with it yet been to cold and icy since I have it but I think it will make the job a lot easie
This is a factual review of the Worx Hydroshot. It is a completely portable jet washer which comes with a wide range of accessories. The package comes with one battery and when fully charged lasts about 25-30 minutes. This is ample time for me to clean my 4 by 4. The jet is powerful enough to remove dried on mud . The main Lance has a number of settings to change the type of spray. The car shampoo dispenser is very good. The collapsible bucket is very small but has its uses. The white brush does a good job on windows but it’s a bit too rough for my car. The only problem was that you cannot connect any of the accessories to the long Lance. You have to connect them to the main unit. I was disappointed with this. I contacted Worx direct and their customer relations department was FIRST CLASS. They then sent me a new Lance and I’m now able to connect all the accessories.
It’s a shame they don’t include this in the kit.
Overall it’s a great piece of kit which I highly recommend.
I also own the lawn mower and strimmer.
Normally washing the car is a long drawn out affair and a real flaff hauling a hose over 60-70 feet from the outside tap to the roadside ensuring no one trips over the hose as it crosses the pavement and me getting sued then winding it all up again plus setting up and putting away a snow foamer etc.
Phew it makes tired just writing this thinking about it.
That is until I came across this beauty, tried it out yesterday on my other halfs Corsa.
One bucket of pre mixed car shampoo and one clean bucket of water and away I went playing around with the hydroshot.
Initial thoughts are that although the hydroshot has a good force of water coming out of it and gets rid of heavy soiling from driving down muddy country roads you will still need to give your car the once over with a lambs wool mit to get the real ingrained road soiling off then rinse off. It is still much more powerful than using my garden hose, power wise it sits between using a normal hose and a jet washer which I tested it alongside out the back washing some green algae of concrete and it wasn’t that far behind the electric powered jet washer in my mind although saying that my jet washer is a cheapo one.
Overall I’m really happy with it and it has made cleaning the cars so much easier and quicker. Took me the quarter of the time it normally does and only took the two buckets to clean the Corsa.
The 4AH battery still had two bars showing and using this is easy peasy, have now ordered a snow foam attachment and the shorter Lance to get more practical use out of it.
Edit: Now have the short Lance which is a must have to help with cleaning things like muddy boots etc.
I have noticed some people complaining about a lack of power, this is not true and I can only think that they either have a faulty unit, have it on eco or as I suspect haven’t let the unit prime itself properly, it takes a good 30-40 seconds for the water to build power so please bare that in mind.
Also some have mentioned that their garden hose is more powerful, well not where I live it ain’t so that depends on location and if you’re lucky with high water pressure or not.
Edit2: 22/3/21
Still happy with this, bought some 25l containers which are a godsend in place of 5l buckets just super heavy (for me) when full.
Another way I found by saving cleaning time was to half fill the snow foam bottle with demon shine and half with snow foam so first off spray down car to get initial crud off then snow foam, whilst car is foamed up go over it with a lambs wool mitt or similar then hose off and buff with microfiber clothes, car comes up beautiful and looks good for longer.
My husband is delighted with the portable pressure cleaner. It is so easy to use.
Easy to operate all fittings easy to apply. Item is ok to wash cars and windows very good power.
Don’t expect to much from this product. I use it only for cleaning my MTB when I go out on trails and I clean my bike before I transporting it back in the car. Absolutely great for that. The pressure its perfect for cleaning bikes preventing any long term damage like the bearings etc. However don’t expect that you can use it for deep cleaning patios and cars etc its just not powerful enough, only light cleaning . There are different settings for pressure nozle, unfortunately, you will need to get your electric power jet washer out. I’m happy with it as I only use it for my bike and cleaning my shoes/ and light clean of my car….
The battery (4amp) last about 40/45min in use full power. (excellent compared to the 2amp) and charges about an 45 min to an hour, pretty good compared to the 2amp that I’ve heard that it takes forever…. There is a eco button less power but i don’t use it .
The item is expensive that you still need to buy a couple of items, 25 litre plastic jerry can and Hydroshot soap bottle. It uses alot of water I would recommend the 25 litre If you going to use it for what I use it for. At the time of purchase it was expensive 200 but now its reduced a better price.
To cut a long story short, this thing is plenty powerful enough for cleaning the dirt from the wheel arches and brake dust from alloy wheels, and one battery (at least, when new) lasts long enough to do all of that and then clean the outside of the car too. I don’t believe that you would/should use more pressure than this can do on paint anyway. I only used the 0 and 15 degree spray pattern settings. The drinks bottle connector works fine but goes through a bottle of water so quickly, its honestly a bit of a waste of time e.g. one bottle per wheel. Even a 2l bottle when full is a bit unwieldy, weight-wise. To give some idea of how much water it needs: I went through about 2.5 buckets (around 25 litres) to do the wheel arches, wheels and outside of a small car. An amazing bit of kit!! Well pleased !! Just bought the short lance and pivoting head to get under the arches more easily…
Does exactly what I bought it for, cleaning the patio and also my dad’s headstone at the cemetery. Downside is it takes half hour to charge the battery and it lasts for only 25 mins. Would be beneficial to supply a further battery with this product. The 5 gallon tank empties after just 5 mins but overall I’m very happy with it. It is quite expensive but it is just what I wanted. Read the reviews including the negative ones and have to say I’m glad I ignored them. Patio and headstone are grubby and it’s strong enough to clean them, doesn’t have the same pressure as a jet wash but they have electric and water running from the mains
*This review is based on the 20V 4ah BRUSHLESS version of the Worx cordless Hydroshot*
I live in a flat so don’t have access to power or mains water outside which is why I needed a cordless pressure washer.
I spent a lot of time reading reviews on various makes and models and realised I was never going to get a straight answer so decided to opt for a ‘Brand’ name and to get the higher end version of whatever they had to offer to improve my chances of being happy with what I’d bought.
The Worx hydroshot was the one that kept popping up so I took the chance and went for it. I got it as a small kit (just the unit, battery, charger, Lance with adjustable nozzle and hose)
I had read that the smaller powered 2ah version with the brushed motor wasn’t particularly powerful and didn’t last very long as far as battery life was concerned. I can’t comment on this as I avoided that version.
I can honestly say the 4ah Brushless is brilliant!
Obviously it doesn’t have the same power as an electric, mains water powered washer, but this had plenty of power to give my filthy paddle board a good clean. If anything I was glad it didn’t have the max power of a mains operated unit, it was powerful enough to lift and clean the dirt away but not so powerful that it risked damaging my board.
I ran it from a 25lt water drum and there was enough water there (and power in my battery) to not only clean my paddle board but also give my car a clean too (granted it wasn’t a full clean, just gave it a really good spray down to loosen and clear the really dirty bits)
I will be purchasing one of those snow foam tanks for it as I’m really happy with how it performed and I’m glad I took the chance and bought it.
So to summarise, if you’re looking for a cordless pressure washer, this is definitely worth your consideration.
I would suggest spending the extra and getting the 20V 4ah BRUSHLESS like I did, as a lot of reviews of the lower spec version all seem to mention a lack of power.
This product was purchased to wash the external walls once applied the fungicidal wash before panting. Had some difficulty getting any power as the water seemed to trickle until went back and reread the instructions and they put the portable bucket on the roof of the car whilst up the ladder. It then provided the power needed. Had some difficulty attaching the unit to get the sprinkler system to work as would not initially connect and tried several times and then got it to click in. Batteries powered fairly quickly and we purchased 2 so could charge whilst we use the other. As we don’t have an external water supply this worked really well once we got use to using it. My husband has used many times now and is pleased we purchased it.
Quite powerful.Battery lasts long enough to wash two or three cars. Recommend you buy the turbo head as well especially if you want more power. Overall a good bit of ki
I used it to jet wash our horse trailer inside and out. It worked really great plenty of power and the water feed was from a 5 gallon water container.
Love this! I use this to bath horses & clean their muddy legs off at my yard where there is no mains water or electricity. It’s fabulous, powerful enough to clean mud off hairy horse legs but not too loud or too powerful for them to cope with. 5 stars!!!
The battery lasted longer than I thought it might given other reviews and charged quickly.
Excellent build quality and long lasting battery, terrific for light duty pressure washing. You do not want to start pressure washing your patio with this 10mm at a time, that’st what’s it’s for. For foaming up and washing off your car or to grab and go with the bottle attachment to quickly wash stuff it’s much much handier than hooking up the full size washer. Highly recommended but will not replace a full size unit for bigger jobs.
Very impressed. Bought for cleaning the car; we can’t use conventional pressure washer because it’s not possible to run hose pipeto where the car is parked. This is just the right level of pressure to clean the car without being g detramental to the paint work. Also used to clean the garden pavers, aviary floor and water the garden. The 6 m hose is good length for washing the car. Purchased the addition pivot head fitting for cleaning g car roof and wheel arches. Glad we went for this brushless model that also includes fast charger and 4mah battery. Plenty of time to clean round the car even though we slow on our feet.
Very impressed with the Worx WG630E.1 cordless bushless Hydroshot portable pressure cleaner because I knew before it arrived, it cannot compete with even the Karcher K2 for jetwash power, but it does what it’s described to do – it’s a very portable, solidly built machine which, on the narrowest jet setting, throws qqa strong jet of water – certianly sufficient to blast out the moss that’s ingrained between the stones on my front drive, and more than enough to jetwash the dustbins and clean the car.
I have a Karcher K5 which is fantastic but getting it out, connecting it to the mains, attaching the hose, dragging it around – it’s a heavy machine, and it’s incredible at cleaning the moss off the patio paving stones, and heavy duty stuff, BUT this is such a pleasure – it takes seconds to get it ready, click in the hose and off you go.
This is an amazing device – I haven’t tried the non-brushless versions, but this, being brushless is powerful enough for most general cleaning requirements and is a pleasure to use.
(with charger and battery)
This product is great for what I bought it for. I read reviews before buying so I knew what to expect. This is good for general cleaning, cars, decking etc. Does not have same strength as a pressure washer for things like mono-block, slabs etc.
I picked up the brushless version of this when it was at 120. For that price it’s absolutely brilliant. It seems to be very well made and it works great. Of course it’s not as powerful as my 160 bar mains powered jetwash but it’s more than adequate for doing cars and bikes and small jobs. I’ve actually been routinely using it for the cars as it’s so quick to just attach to my auto retracting hose pipe. No more hassle getting the big boy out and messing about with cables and annoying high pressure hoses. Our house is in the woods so there’s always bits of rubbish and bird mess annoying me and it’s dead easy to just put a couple of litres in the water bottle and clean it off anywhere. When we go away in the UK we usually take bikes with us (mountain or road) and it can be a bit of a pain getting them clean, no longer an issue with this thrown in the car. I didn’t end up using it on the bikes in the Lake District the other week but it was very useful to get a rather large area of bird mess off the car in the hotel car park! Great bit of kit, one of the best tools I’ve bought in a long time. Time will tell how robust it is and how long it will last but I’d be happy if I only get a few years of use out of it at the price I paid.
I have a yellow pressure washer, it’s big heavy and at times too fierce and you have to plug it in which sometimes involves a power extender. This is amazing, it’s run time is plenty for most jobs ( a quick patio clean or car wash). It is easy to use, quick to set up and has a reasonable pressure. It not nearly as strong as a mains washer but for me it’s better as with the mains washer you end up with dirt flying all over the place. All you need to do is pick it up connect to water (3 options —- hose or 2l bottle or bucket of water) and you are readily to go.
It’s worth getting the rotation attachment, helps both when doing the slabs and also the roof of the car.
Before I got this I would put off jobs, not now as it’s so easy to use
**This review is for the WG630E with Brushless Motor and 4.0Ah battery**
Very, very impressed.
I bought this for cleaning my aviary, for which a Karcher would be much too powerful, but tried it out on my little patio first just to see what it could do – wow! It shifted 15 years of muck and moss with relative ease.
It is very simple to assemble and use. The battery charged from flat in 45 minutes and from that I got around 45 mins of use on high power. On this version there is an ‘Eco’ button you press when you want to use LESS power/water; it resets when you release the trigger.
The ‘0’ setting produces a very narrow jet to blast the stubborn muck and moss (or write your name in it like a kid with a sparkler). A quick twist adjusts the stream in increments all the way through to ’40’, then ‘watering’ – much easier than changing lances and nozzles. The setting shown in the video is ’15’, I then turned it to 0 to get rid of the spots of moss.
There is little splashback and it’s not even that loud.
For convenience and portability, I don’t think you could beat this. In fact, refilling the bucket is the only real inconvenience, as it does guzzle water. You can, however, connect it to a garden hose, so no refilling required.
I have now tried the water bottle adapter with a 2 litre former lemonade bottle; it works like a charm, but I soon got bored of refilling it. It takes a lot longer for the unit to get going again as well, which I found frustrating and wasteful. So for normal use, give that a swerve, but if you need a quick but thorough wash of a muddy bicycle or wellie boots before getting in the car, it would be excellent.
I got a great deal here at 120 (down from 200), as the 4.0Ah battery alone costs 60. I almost paid 5 more for the ‘full kit’ option but noticed just in time that you only get a 2.0Ah battery with that set.
It arrived the day after I ordered and has a 3 year warranty if you register within 30 days (1 year for trade).
**A note on registering – you HAVE to create an account at the same time as registering for proof/peace of mind that it’s done; there is NO email confirmation as promised and you cannot create an account later.
After a silly number of emails to Worx Customer Support, they finally advised I’d have to register the product again and create an account the second time around – so my Hydroshot is now registered twice and I have yet another account/password that I don’t want, but it’s done.
Oh – they also told me the battery and charger
aren’t covered so cannot be registered, but one of the two does appear in the [infuriatingly long] list of product codes arranged in no discernable order. Have fun finding yours!**
In summary, although not comparable in power to a pressure washer (nor does it pretend to be), this still packs a heck of a punch – and let’s not pretend it doesn’t look cool!
Highly recommended for what it is – but don’t waste your money on a less powerful model – the 630 Brushless with the 4Ah battery is a necessity for anything but the smallest jobs.
I keep reading reviews Slamming this product for being the same as a regular hose pipe, I have to be honest I was sceptical and did not expect it to be any good. As it is currently on offer on Amazon ( Brushless) I thought I’d give it a try, and I am glad I did. It is much more powerful than a hose pipe and has multiple spray settings and the best thing is its mobility. I can wash my car without needing a plug socket for my pressure washer and I don’t need to be near a hose pipe I can just fill a bucket up it also has an adapter to use detergents or spray foam and other liquids. I would definitely recommend this product after initial use, I will update this review in a couple of months after more use.
I have used it 3 times so far. I found this is ideal for washing bikes, bins, paths & vehicles. ;o)
Read a load of reviews and watched the advertising videos, at the end of the video the guy uses a brushless one to wash a motocross bike and you can see the power difference. You do get 30 minutes of use even if its using a water container and its pulling the water through itself. The brushless one is powerful enough to damage wooden decking on the finest jet again just using water from a 30 litre can.It comes with a fast charger and charges in 50 minutes.
I bought this to wash the car , van and bikes and it is ideal.
I have since had my outdoor tap repaired and found with the hose attached you can rinse without using any battery or motor just by slightly pulling the trigger and you can adjust the spray patte
This is what I have to say!
Hey guys quit messing around with all the other kits,
buy this Brushless moter with the 4.0 amp battery this is the dogs ……………
I used mine to wash my Honda Accord it ‘s a large car, never the less I went through 1 large bucket of hot water with added car wash shampoo the dirt & muck just removed easily
Point to make
It was a rainy day so the dirt was broken down by the rain.
I used the Hydro brushless moter the remaining dirt just removed I have always washed my car on rainy days as I find it easier to clean! The bird crap was easily removed with a blast of the jet then a quick sponge down this thing is not as good as the supermarket jet wash buts thats to be expexted.
It blew me away!
I had trouble jet washing my wheels they were bogging with grim & brake dust I gave em a blast then the little water left in the bucket I used to wipe them down with a small sponge.
I got another large bucket of hot soapy water & blasted the car for the 2nd time it was sparkling this brushless kit is all you need, as if like me you have the brushes & things to clean your car then go for this one believe!
I live in a top floor apartment this kit is the way.
Don’t fumble around with the 2.0 amp batteries as they don’t have the power of the 4.0 amp this brushless hydro.
It washed my car 2 times & still had 1 led left on the battery.
I did’nt time it WORXS say it can go for 40 minutes.
I got more out of mine!
First time around cleaning the car I used it on both settings Eco & full letting the Hydro do all the work for me!
Give it a go!
Also WORXS give you an extended warranty if you register within 30 days of purchasing.it.
I bought this from AMAZON used with box damage at a bargain!
Buy it you won’t be dissappointed.it’s a great tool watch the videos on Utube see for yourself!
Thanks WORXS I think it’s a great tool to have in your kit!
Amazing power when using with direct water feed from garden hose almost as powerful as my Karcher 🙂
With bucket is also very powerful but water does not last very long :-/
Water bottle is a waste of time hardly any power 🙁
Battery charging extremely fast with the 160w charger less than 2 hours and lasts good 20-30 minutes on one charge 🙂
Easy to assemble just need to put extra force to get lance into device and best used 2 handed as battery weight to left side make it tiring on wrist 1 handed.
Overall i an very satisfied and much more mobility and freedom to use anywhere makes it my favourite pressure washer 🙂
UPDATE:
In the interests of fairness, I wanted to update my original review to advise that I managed to improve the water pressure to a far more acceptable and usable level. In essence whilst the select-able spray attachment had been fixed in place and was working as expected in terms of the type of spray being generated, I decided to remove it, check for any blockage and reattach. After doing so and making sure it was properly connected to the lance (this time there was a more pronounced click which I didn’t notice before), performance improved significantly. As a result the Hydroshot proved perfectly suitable for the purpose I bought it for, i.e. a quick and convenient clean of the car without having to drag out the hose or my powered jet wash. A couple of 2 litre bottles was enough to wet and rinse off bodywork and wheels, (hatchback) although they are emptied fast. And the battery more than stood up to the task. As a result, I’d now give the product 4 stars.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Not what I expected at all unless I’m missing something obvious and the Power button that others speak of is separate to the ECO ON / OFF button, which is the only switch I can find to regulate the pressure. (Albeit from very weak to a little less weak) With the battery fully charged and regardless of the spray-type setting on the lance, performance is really disappointing and a lot less than I can achieve with a garden hose. I wasn’t expecting anywhere near what my Nilfisk pressure washer can achieve but I was expecting more than this unit delivers. A real pity as the product itself seems robust and the portability is excellent.
Great pressure for a portable pressure washer. Have previously used one bought from Chain Reaction Cycles which had much weaker pressure, and the battery gave up after not being used for a few months.
This is much higher quality, well-built, replaceable battery and brilliant cleaning power. Obviously the ability to use any water source is a great plus.
Only 45 mins to charge the high capacity battery which is ideal!
Cannot recommend enough.
I noticed in the reviews that this 4amp brushless version was much better. I have a Karcher but I didn’t want to damage the paintwork on my Yaris. This does the cleaning fine and being battery it has no cables to get tangled up.
I like the idea that I can just get a bucket of warm water to get the worst of the dirt off. I always sponge the shampoo by hand and then use the machine to clean it all off. A large microfibre cloth finishes things off. My battery easily lasts the whole car wash and I can also use the same 4amp battery for my chain saw. Great product.
I was very skeptical of this product especially after reading the negative reviews of the battery life, power of the jet washer and the snow foam gun. I didn’t have to worry, it really does work well. It will never be as good as a Karcher for example, but it doesn’t claim to be. My car was very dirty, not cleaned for about 2 months. I pre-rinsed, then foam sprayed and then 2 rinses, all on 1 battery. Note I do have a small car so anything bigger than a TT and you will certainly need 2 batteries. The snow gun is good, i used Autoglym Polar Blast foam and it stuck to the car very well. Its not as loud as i thought either. Cons – it does go through a lot of water, I used 5 normal sized buckets, like the ones you find under the sink. Admittedly my car was dirty so the pre-rinse took longer and the foam rinse took a fair bit of water but you will need some big buckets or be prepared to walk back to a tap to fill up a lot. The black clip that comes attached to the water hose that is for holding said hose onto the bucket is useless beyond words, I ended up taping it down to the bucket as there were numerous times when the hose would just fall out. Apart form those 2 things I can’t fault it. I did only use it for cleaning the car and motorbike but as a tester I blasted some moss out of the ground and it worked fine but i cannot comment on anything else it might or might not be able to do. Also note that I got the “brushless” version which is meant to be better than the “non brushless” version. Well worth the money if you do not have access to mains water and power.
It is difficult to comment on the above questions without being able to compare like for like.I don’t know of any other product similar to the worx hydroshot. However it cannot and shouldn’t be compared to a stand alone pressure washer I.e,karcher etc.
I first used the hydroshot with the included water bottle attachment.the vacuum generated by the pump was such that the volume of water demanded by the pump could not be supplied to the pump because of the small diameter of the bottle, cavitation was the result and the water bottle imploded,no access to atmospheric pressure the cause.when using the supplied hose from a water butt it worked very satisfactory.I am satisfied with the performance considering the limitations of the product. On the strength of the performance I have purchased the adjustable power scrubber. As yet I haven’t tried it out but would be happy to report my experience at a latter date.In conclusion without a vent in the bottle hose connection I cannot see how it can work.Perhaps Worx can offer an explanation.Would recomend this product based on what I purchased it for, quickly cleaning mud off my car.
Not the most powerful pressurewasher but for a battery operated one its more than ample. It is loud and comes with a 91db warning but you wouldnt be using itfor hours on end so all ok. A fair weight to it but once operating the recoil helps balance the weightof the lance etc.
A little on the heavy side but still very useable
I purchased this to clean my fine mesh ground feeders for the birds. Made a cracking job with very little effort.
Do not expect this to replace the much more powerful pressure washers but it is a great tool for removing the heavy layers of mud from the car in the winter months. Much more convenient to use than the normal pressure washer and it is powerful enough to remove most of the dirt and algae from paving slabs, brickwork, garden furniture etc.
I have a mains jet washer (JCB) and it’s very good. Only trouble it is a lot of faff getting the mains electric cable unwound (and rewound) connecting to the extension lead, the unwinding the (stiff) hose, then connecting the main hosepipe to the machine. More faff moving around the car to wash lugging the pipes, cable and machine behind me as I go.
This is a great solution to all these issues. I got the brushless motor and larger capacity battery and the battery life just covers an initial dirt wash spray, the a high foam all over (with the foam bottle I bought separately) and then a rinse off. I don’t think the basic battery would do this much. I also bought one of those light compression hoses (Hozelock) to connect it to so I have plenty of water on hand, being light it’s easy to move around the car. But you could use a bucket or bottle if you want to do small jobs. Overall, very good.
Ignore the negative reviews this piece of kit is outstanding washed my car perfectly foam soap attachment gave out loads of fluffy foam I would recommend buying the upgraded battery as a spare
I have a Nilfilk jet wash that I use for heavy duty jobs but for smaller, quick jobs I find it a bit of a pain to use; getting out power cables, long hose pipes…etc, all a bit of a blag; so when I saw this I thought I’d give it a try. Used it a few times to wash down some garden furniture and to give our cars a quick clean. It’s great!!
Sure, its never going to replace a proper jet wash but for those quick jobs it works really well; it is so quick and easy to use, you don’t even need to have a fixed water source (a tap), just a bucket of water will do, drop in the pipe and press the button and away you go. The battery seems to last a good while too, I used it at the weekend for about 30 minutes and it still had some power left in the battery. Excellent product.
i immediately tried the bottle attachment after the battery was fully charged i was so disappointed i tried the Eco/power button but to no avail a water pistol had more power than this….i was going to send it back as useless then i tried the main hose and low and behold power it works … the difference was there was no air getting into the bottle so it was creating a vacuum which stopped the hydroshot performinese things g properly to test this i put a screw hole in bottle (old cider bottle) and yes it works perfectly if only the instructions told us

I got the brushless version when on a deal and it was 100% worth it. I live in a mid floor apartment and have a garage but no power or water out there. In comes the Hydroshot and problem solved! I will say of you’re expecting full on pressure washer power then thats not going to happen, but for cleaning the motorbike or car its really great. I would advise getting some decent sized water containers for using with this as it advertises 210l/hr and i it will indeed run through a 10l container in a few of minutes.
So to sum up: if you live in an apartment and dont have an outside water supply i would definitely recommend this!

I went for the newer brushless version despite having read no reviews on it. Only the U.S. version with the twin batteries.
I thought I’d try this over the older Hydroshot as it came bundled with the 4ah battery and the fast charger.
It’s still not a replacement for a full pressure washer, but I like to detail my car and have no access to outside power or water. As that requires a number of stages (foam, rinse, soap, wash, rinse) I though the 2ah might be insuffecient with a long charge time.
Overall it does the job nicely. It’ll go through about 5 Meguiars 22 gallon buckets of water with one battery which is plenty enough for two regular car washes.
It’s not the last word in build quality if you are used to more prosumer power tools like Dewalt/Makita/Milawalkee. The plastic fixing holding hose filter snapped in two on first use. But it’s holding together and jubillee clip will sort it permanently.
I tried a snow foam attachement with little expectation and it doesn’t really work. Works nicely as a soap dispenser though.
You might have better luck with a hose attached, but it you have this a regular power washer would be better value.
