Ideal for small jobs as the battery (supplied with the kit) doesn’t last long. I use this in between main jet washer.

I bought this for washing my car ect in the winter when the hoze will be frozen, realy easy to use,”the nozzle controls the 5 different patterns and power.not noisy and I also bought foam bottle and 2ltr pop bottle syphon pipe, I was lucky and got these on offer, all 3 were less than &90″

Very easy to use. It’s battery powered so don’t expect it to be as powerful as a mains washer but it suits my needs in washing ngbthe carava

Nice unit does a good job but not a pressure washer. A good sprayer. Used to clean my car and van and couldn’t remove a spider web of my mirror which surprised me. Excellent sprayer for my carpet cleaning and for car washing but not a pressure washer.

To be honest I’ve only had it a couple of weeks and used it just once. It’s very light in weight and lacks any feel of durability, I think it will have to be handled carefully to avoid damage.
Having said that it works very well and the concept is brilliant.
In addition to the above purchase I was considering buying an extra battery, but I got a strimmer instead which came with two batteries and a charger for 75.00. Batteries and charger interchangeable with the Hydroshot.

Only tested once, will add more after further use but first go was block paving.
Delighted it jetted Moss out of the joints on narrowest setting without making as much mess as a mains washer (but enough mess for my wife to laugh at my mud spattered head). Much easier than a brush for large area though still a chore and think the jointing sand will still need topping up though hopefully not all of it.
I’m sure it won’t clean oil stains etc as some want, but that’s a different job. Moss is definitely my bugbear.
I suspect two issues for those that say it’s feeble. 1) the hose end must dangle in the bucket, if any part touches the floor or sides the pressure drops right down or can stop. 2) in case you missed it, there’s a high/low button on the top.
Having used it some more, it can be a real pain if sucking up water rather than using a tap but from other reviews I discovered that means a poor seal on the inlet. Best use soap or gel to help as the nut will break if you overtighten.

Liked the whole thing, all I needed was a bucket of water to pressure wash the car, wash flower pots or any other jobs that needed pressure washing, strong pressure available & easy to use, a little bit Akward moving the bucket of water around but did, nt find that a big problem

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirst thing, this comes with all the gadgets that the one with the battery comes with. On the Amazon page this was not clear. So you get a utility bag, an extension lance and water pipe designed to drop into water or attach to a bucket. It works great and I would say I got better pressure from a bucket than attaching to the hose (tap). The pressure is not as great as my Karcher but the increased ease of use and mobility means my Karcher will be redundant. Finally, the thing is tiny compared to my Karcher and garage space is an issue for me so this is a winner for me.

As expected. It is a portable jet wash so people should not expect high pressures. I read a mix of reviews and I dont understand some of the 1 star ratings. I knew what my expectations were so im not disappointed. Washed my caravan, which is in storage, with ease using around 25l water.

I bought it for washing my motorcycle and cars. It works fine as it has no very high pressure water spray but strong enough for my usages. Standard batter also last enough time (30mins?) to clean a car and a motorcycle.

I purchased this for mainly cleaning around the garden etc. The water pressure from it is ideal for jetting away bird poo from slabs and garden furniture and it is ideal for cleaning wheelie bin and rabbit run. It’s actually better than a proper pressure washer in a way as the pressure isn’t high enough to cause damage to most things so you can also use it to clean the car and home windows.. and being portable is fantastic. The battery lasts for ages as well. Tip though, purchase the adaptor to allow connection of a 2lt plastic bottle instead of a hose and it is truly portable

When ordering I was nervous that it would be a good as it sounds…..and it is
I purchased this for washing the car and it does it well, Its not as powerful as a Jet wash but it does the job extremely well and a lot easier than using the traditional bucket and sponge.

It is also great for other jobs and would recommend this item and will return to buy other items from the range

Fantastic piece of kit, read some of the reviews, must admit its cleans my patio with ease and car and windows and stone work, it does everything my plugged in jet washer did but its better in the sence it portable and can be used on bike and festivals definitely worth getting the bigger battery

This portable pressure washer is great for cleaning refuse bins and patio furniture as it saves having to take out my electric pressure washer and hose. Obviously the pressure isn’t the same as an electric one but it does do a decent job. It is quick and easy to use and basically anyone can use it. I haven’t used it on the car yet but I certainly can see the benefit of using it in the winter months. The battery that comes with it is adequate but I invested in the larger one also so that I always have one ready on case I need it. All in all I am quite impressed by this portable pressure washer and can also see myself using it to clean the windows too.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI had been contemplating buying the hydroshot for a while but some of the reviews on here did actually put me off a little. The recent spell of good weather and having 3 dirty cars on my drive encouraged me to take the plunge and buy it. I’m glad I did and i’m not sure where some of the negative reviews i’ve seen are coming from. A bit of common sense suggests that this is not going to be as powerful as some mains connected pressure washers, and it certainly isn’t. That said, it is definitely a LOT more powerful than any hosepipe i have ever used and probably something similar to an entry level mains connected pressure washer.

The reason I required a cordless pressure washer is because I live in a rented house with no outside tap/ hose pipe so the ability to use a bucket of water as the water source is ideal. Also, the fact that it dismantles down to a small compact size means I can store it in a cupboard which is useful as I don’t have any outside storage. For the price, there isn’t anything else that fits my criteria.

I opted for the full kit which includes a detergent bottle and brush attachment amongst other things. The detergent bottle is good and provides a decent covering on the car as shown in my video. The brush, however, does feel a little flimsy when it is attached to the hydroshot so I have found myself just using it as an ordinary brush disconnected from the hydroshot.

My only other gripe with the hydroshot is with the plastic clip that holds the hose to the bucket. It doesn’t seem to have a very good hold on the hose so it just keeps popping out of the clip, which gets a bit tedious after having to re-attach it every 30 seconds. I’m sure i’ll be able to find something to solve this issue though.

Overall I think that the hydroshot is a very capable and useful portable pressure washer. If you don’t have outside access to either power or a water tap like me then I would definitely recommend it. If you are expecting it to be a replacement for your current mains connected pressure washer, then you are probably going to be a bit disappointed.

    Surprisingly good!

Was quite surprised how robust this item is, good quality build. The power was good for a battery operated tool. Used it on a very dirty paved path with surprising results, bought it for the wheels on cars which it was great for, also bought an extra battery. Which I would recommend if your going to use it a lot as I do.

I love Worx cordless tools! I bought this as ordinary pressure washers drive me crazy – tangling the hosepipe, electric cable & the wand hose altogether all the time. This is so easy to use, very lightweight, and for me the whole point about Worx cordless tools is that you can just pick up and go (as long as your battery is charged – I keep 2 on the go so I can switch if one runs out).
I was worried that it might not be powerful enough to really clean anything, and whilst it’s true that it is not as powerful as a corded machine, it certainly cleans really effectively, even stained block paving. I find that because it’s so easy to use I do the chores more often, thereby not needing such a heavy-duty clean in one go. It seems economical on water, and you can achieve a worthwhile clean with just a watering can full of water. It also works really well when connected to a normal mains hosepipe, and I found the connectors to be totally watertight, unlike my 2 corded pressure washers, which both spout water at the connection point the whole time. I really don’t regret buying this – will probably buy another to use elsewhere.

I like how I just need a bucket of water and not a tap. It’s moderately powerful. Don’t expect it to remove a dried bird poo from your car but it just takes 2x longer than a normal pressure cleaner. But it is what I need. I don’t expect the technology is as powerful as a non portable pressure cleaner. I don’t know how long the battery last but it is doing fine for 30 mins now.

If you expect a full blown pressure washer this is not for you but the convenience of having a battery unit is so useful for a lot of jobs around the garden and cars etc it works very well, it will clean a lots of different types of things inc decking and block paving but not ass well a powered washer.

Bought this puppy a week ago and its absolutely great. Powerful enough to clean rust of drain in garden and strong enough to wash dirt off brick walls and concrete floor. really love it and so light to carry. ONLY DOWNSIDE the battery doesnt last long and takes a long time charge, approx 3 hours to fully charge for about 45min use. however just found a fast charger on amazon.

other than that, im super happy and worth every penny.

I got this as a replacement for the Mobi v17 I’ve been using for the last 18 months. I’m impressed so far, the pressure is quite a bit higher than the mobi, and the build quality just feels better. Dont go in expecting full on jet wash dirt stripping power and you’ll be pleasantly surprised, it does get close though. I’m happy that the power isn’t too high, it’ll be kinder on mountain bike bearings than a large pressure washer.
This morning I washed 2 cars and the 2.0 Ah battery was just running out of juice as I finished the second. I’d guess that was using around 33l if water. I did use a brush and bucket to clean things, the jet wash was for pre wetting and then rinsing. I did try just using the pressure washer to shift the dirt on the wheels and it was quite good on the 15 setting at stripping the road grime off.
All in all, this is better than the Mobi v17 by some margin.

What an excellent little power washer. Great if you just want to spruce your car up. The little folding bucket is great but I would also get a cheap plastic bucket to top water up with or you will be back and for to the tap. Pressure from the built in pump is good. But connect it to a hose pipe fed at mains water pressure and it gives excellent results. Battery life is also very good, however the brush attachment isn’t much use but the soap dispenser attachment is excellent.

Its not going to compete with main power type power washers but all things considered it does a great job and is very versatile i.e pumps from a bucket, from a normal hose pipe (which is better) or even a bottle if you only need a small amount of water. Its ideal when you don’t want to lug and set up a power washer just to power wash your car wheels etc or you have no mains power.

Bought this to keep in the van to clean my mountain bikes after going out riding. You need to take your water with you, but I find I use about 5ltr per wash and I have a 25ltr water container. The pressure is never going to strip paint or remove really caked on dried gunk but it rinses and washes very well when I finish my ride, the different spray patterns are useful and easily changed. It’s easy to set up, break down and changed lance size and it doesn’t make a mess if you empty the hose properly (Just keep running the washer after removing the hose from the water and hey presto). Not sure about battery life yet as only used it a couple of times, but it takes around 3 hrs for a full charge from empty. The battery also has a handy press button level indicator on it too. In all I only marked it down a star for price, as it could do with being 20 cheaper. I suppose it will be once there’s more competition. All in all, it’s a good compact mobile washer, for small jobs.

I bought this to water my plants from a water barrel in the allotment. It works really well, except it takes ages to water my plants. The battery on the watering setting lasts about half an hour. Which is good enough to water my allotment. The annoying thing is that you have to hold the button down in order to water for half and hour. I found this caused hand fatigue. So I use a reusable cable tie to hold the button in. Then release the cable tie to stop it. Also the clamp that holds the water pipe to the side of the barrel is too weak. So again I use two cable ties on this. One tie to hold the tube to the clamp, the other to cable tie the clamp to the water container you are using. By using reusable cable ties you can switch containers if you need to. So if the company addressed these two problems it would be great. But a word of warning, if you attempt to use this item in anything other than clear water the filter will block in about 30 seconds. I tried using this in water that was harvested from the rain into a water barrel. The water in this barrel isn’t sparkling clean. The filter blocked very quickly with algae. So unless you have a clean water source don’t bother using this

This product is for general use car, house windows patio or any thing you want in general, not a bad item . Battery lasts to a certain degree as the more you use the quicker the power drains. Forget at the moment but I think you get two batteries. You can buy other parts for the power spray, it would have been nice to have had the detergent bottle included in the package. You can still make suds by mixing your soap solution in water before adding the sucktion tube into the water. it can use a bucket of water quite quick so check at intervals so it does’t run out. When first trying out for the first time it takes a little time for the water to come through, so give it time to start working. The nozzle at the front of the gun can be rotated to suit your needs giving veraing power feeds, not as powerful as the kacher but still a all round washer power gun.

I have bought many gadgets and then been rather disappointed, and so I was wary buying this product. However, I am delighted with it. Perhaps if you were expecting the same power as a corded power washer, you may be disappointed. For me though it is the perfect solution, as we live in an old cottage and are unable to get our car to the rear of our property, making use of a hose difficult .

  33. Anonymous says:

Even though this is not as powerful as the mains equivalent, which is to be expected, the convenience of not having to be connected to mains water and electricity, far outweighs the reduction of power. I always found it difficult to wash my car with the Karcher due to the positioning of water and electricity supplies, but with this the car can be washed whatever its position. This is a great purchase.

after reading all of the reviews I decided to buy it just for cleaning my motorbike, this exceeded my expectations as it is better than a hose and the jet is more than powerful to clean the bike and no risk of damaging the engine seals, I also cleaned the car wheels with the same battery and got most of the real dirt off very easily, over all I am very happy with this washer for my own needs, and no more dragging the hose through the house.

OK, so the pressure and flow rate could be better. I got it for washing my mtb out of the mud at the end of the trail. For this it is great. The battery is good enough to clean a moderately dirty estate or two muddy bikes. The bucket is great and I have no issue with the clip, also the shampoo bottle is great. Brush idea I do not understand. I do wish it was cheaper. I got a bottle attachment, it takes 4 litres to clean a bike. It takes two buckets to clean a car and with it I can use warm water. I like the battery charge indicator.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI bought this thing for 57 with the understanding that it would be body only as I already have worx batteries. Instead I was sent the set worth 100 with the extra nozzles, bag and hose!
It admits that it can’t handle prop cleaning. But it can and it will.
You can use it as a watering can on shower mode, different spare widths and power, H/L power mode for when you’re just cleaning up or cleaning a bike that you don’t want to blow the grease out of.

It will finish a 2L bottle fairly quickly but that depends on how you use it as there are wasteful ways to use it and conservative ways of using it of course.
However, fill up a bucket, pit it within 3m of your work area and attach the hose connection, it clips onto the bucket and has a float so that it stays in perfect position.
I could go on and on, this thing is a god send.

    Well done WORX!

And no this isn’t fake, or sponsored. Just
Love the product and happy it’s as good as I wanted it to be.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI live in mid terrace so no access to water to the front of my house to wash car ECT.. this bridges that gap well rather than run hoses through my house. To wash my car I can fill a barrel from my water butt, so saving water also, it rinsed the car well but struggles with stubborn bird poo ECT, so still used brush. I used 12L of water in this unit to wash a car so wouldn’t bother with small bottles as will empty that too quickly to wash anything really. So overall I am pleased as no risk of hoses through my house and love saving the water also by using from water butt.. as an off grid washer its good but wont replace a mains water and electric pressure washer at all.

Bought this to clean a greenhouse and polytunnel on our allotment site which is off the grid. Really easy to set up and use with either the bottle adaptor or placing the hose into a bucket. Mild cleaning fluid in the bottle, rinse off with clean water from the bucket and the job is done. Good for cleaning bins, inside and out plus handy for chasing fat pigeons off the TV Ariel and messing bins lids 🙂

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI really love this for washing the car when space is tight, no piped water, and no electricity. You can’t go wrong! I tried it out today. One battery charge was enough to do the wheels on very high pressure. Charged it up again and just did the whole car. So, I`ve bought another battery. Should be good to do my coupe.
It` does`t pretend to be a “Pressure Washer”.
It`s just great. You know how much water you`re using…. if you`re on a Metre. Just take the buckets out!
I`ve had pressure washers before……really difficult to use ….omg….by the time you have assembled the electricity, with extension cable, then taken out the hose and attached it to the water supply……. I lost the will to live….it all got tangled round the car. Not nice when its minus something in Scotland!!
    This is great!

    NO cables!

This unit equates to having high power water hose access, literally anywhere, without the need for mains electricity or a mains water supply. Charge the battery, fill a bucket or soda bottle with water, and wham…you have a jet washer…any place any time. The pressure output is not a match for the high power mains operated units….but if you require a unit that can deliver up to ten times the pressure of a conventional garden hose, this is the unit for you. Really well engineered nozzle…just what I was looking for to clean my car and the outside of the house. A++++++++

Still use a Karcher for heavy duty jobs like cleaning the patio and driveway, but the Worx is way more convenient – no power cables and it’ll run happily from a bucket of soapy water!
    Highly recommended!

I purchased this on a whim (when it was on offer) as I was fed-up with faffing about setting up my pressure-washer every time I wanted to clean my car or motorbike. A great addition to any garage, easy to set-up and use. I can snow-foam, wash and rinse my car on one charge of the 2.0Ah battery with enough left-over to wash the suds of my driveway (approx. 4hrs to re-charge). The collapsible bucket is just the right size to carry and will only need filling 2-3 times per car.
Sturdy enough to take the odd knock or being dropped, my only suggestion would be to either purchase an additional battery or go for the 4.0Ah version as this will give you plenty enough charge to maybe do a regular sized patio or decking. However, if you just want something for small jobs without the fuss of hoses and extension leads then you could do worse! It came with a mesh carry bag with makes it totally portable, I often take mine down to jet the saltwater off my dinghy after a sail.

I done a fair amount of research and thought i would give it a try.

The kit is very good and comes with everything you need to get going, other than a full charge of the battery. I was never expecting it to compete with a powered pressure washer, but i did expect a marked improvement over the standard hose pipe…….i was wrong, the increase is marginal.

I gave it a try on my lightly soiled car and it seemed like a huge amount of effort to remove the surface layer. I tried the various lances and settings but no real difference.

In the end i gave up and resorted to the garden hose and a sponge.

I really wanted it to work well, but it didnt meet my expectations, maybe a higher voltage would increase pressure, i’m not sure. The worx range is a sound idea, but i do believe in this area, its certainly not a jack of all trades!

  47. Chris Milea says:

I read many reviews before purchase many good some bad, most where about lack of pressure, after setting up I found the most likely cause of this lack of pressure, the supplied hose has a filter on the end which you put into your bucket or whatever water supply you have chosen, I found that this caused the end of the hose to float (often above the waterline) so I have attached a small weight to the end (fishing weight or similar) now all is good and I have a good pressure at least until water supply comes to an end. A good quality tool and has already proved useful compared to a large pressure washing machine which is not as mobile and requires tap and electric mains.

  48. JosephKifer says:

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersReally impressed with this tool, sure it’s not the power of a mains pressure washer but it’s still got its uses.

So far I’ve used it to blast away 6 months of dust and dirt from my bike which it did with ease. Also used it to clean our balcony windows/facade that constantly gets covered in dust and the table and chairs. Most recent use was on the grout lines in the shower at our rental apartment which were black in areas which even scrubbing with a brush wouldn’t remove.

The washer has two modes of power (low and high). The low mode isn’t worth bothering with unless you’re watering plants or something light. I used the high mode for all of the jobs mentioned above which worked very well. On high mode the included battery will last for nearly 3 mop buckets (10L per bucket) full of water before it’ll need charging. This was more than enough to do both sides of the external balcony windows (9 in total).

Can’t fault this jet washer for its convenience, portability and power. Really useful if you don’t have the convenience of a outdoor tap.

    Love it, great little gadge

We have the normal Karcher jet washer in the shed but it can be a bit of a faff to set up just for a small job (like washing out the wheelie bins) so this is excellent. I bought the larger capacity battery and it last for absolutely ages. I also bought the “pop bottle” connector. This enables you to fill a 2 litre plastic pop bottle with water and wash using just that. The water pressure isn’t as high as the Karcher but its good enough for many jobs. The collapsible bucket and hose work very well. I am very happy with my Hydroshot which I have now had for a few months.

Hubby`s 3rd item from the Worx range, He loves them especially the interchangeable long life batteries that fit other tools in the Worx range. Customer support was absolute fantastic, no call waiting , clear and concise and understand their own products. Hubby said Worx will be his tools for life..

As for the Hydroshot He loves it for his building maintenance, lightweight for getting up ladders (goes where pigeons leave there droppings). Third of the power of a cable Jetwasher so windows can be cleaned without cracking and paint flying off surrounds..

As for home use , vehicles cleaned in minutes as you don`t need to unravel long hose pipe and trailing power lead, even stands at back door and waters the plants and lawn with the low nozzle setting..

It is what it is a small but powerful jet wash
And I found the mess factor to be low ie my big jet wash is powerful but you end up like you’re swimming
    With water and mess everywhere
This jet wash takes longer but it’s much easier to use and seems quite heavy and strong like most worx tools
So use it for those hard to jet wash places like flat balconies or difficult to reach access areas
It will take ages to jet wash big areas but much more convenient

This product is ideal to wash a bike. Being battery powered, the pressure is good, but not too high, so it won’t blast grease away from bearings and other moving parts. A muddy MTB can be washed with something like 10 litres of water. I use two old 5 litre mineral water bottles to take water with me. Great equipment!

Great little pressure washer for waxing cars etc ,but do recommend purchasing the soap bottle to go with it (9-99).
2 settings high and low pressure ,I use it on high pressure on the car ,and it does a great job, probably use about half a bucket of water ,very economical.
Saves dragging the hose out ,then the bucket, and rinsing off ,I find it easy work to use ,I would recommend it ,battery probably lasts about 15-20 minutes .price has gone up since I purchased it !!!!

    Bang on for my needs.

I’ve not got a patio so one of the “normal” pressure washers work but I don’t really need that power and it can damage paintwork and bearings (on bikes) so this portable unit is ideal.

It has enough pressure to remove dirt from a car but not enough to damage bearings on the bike, winner. The fact that it’s battery operated is ideal for mountain bikers who drive to a trail get dirty and can at least wash the bike before going home.

The only complaint is the price, yes you can get a refurbished Karcher K2 for 45-50 but you need a plug and you shouldn’t wash a bike with it.

If you have a patio/block work/drive needing cleaned buy a Karcher.

This works perfectly for my intended use, car washing, garden furniture etc.
If you expect a battery powered item to blast very heavy grime or algae off your patio you may be disappointed.
It’s not under powered but not the one to buy for anything that needs real blasting.
I find it has enough power to clean a months build up on my car with no problems, this isn’t industrial strength IT’S BATTERY POWERED !
I would say if you plan to wash a very large van or clean his and her cars I’d buy the larger battery, mine has never run out washing and rinsing thoroughly but it would not last for a second car or motorcycle.

It’s the nuts , if you want a real jet was buy one but for keeping on top of general cleaning great. I use to disinfect garden have 3 dogs put a little disinfect in bucket and way you go . Battery good for full on 30 min all good . It won’t remove stubborn stains but buy cheap second washer for that great product.

For a cordless device this is pretty good. It is so easy to get ready, compared to a mains power washer.
However, it can’t equal the output of a mains one, which is usually about 1500 watts – this is more like 250watts, so it takes longer to do a job.
It is really good at cleaning alloy wheels, you just have to spray on a bit of cleaner first. You can also do the whole car, a small area of paving , or a boat deck. Again, it is much better if you use some liquid cleaner, whereas a mains unit’s higher pressure might do the job without it.
Where it really scores is on convenience of use. A bucket of rainwater goes quite a long way, and you can also use hot water if needed. If you get the pop-bottle adaptor, it is completely self -contained – although 2 litres of water doesn’t last very long – very useful if you need to go up a ladder. Because it uses water so economically, you could use it in a drought without getting in trouble; and in winter you don’t finish up with water everywhere like with a mains washer, and you don’t have to worry about getting your mains electric cable wet. You could even use it indoors, if you’re careful, e.g. to clean a shower area. Because it’s so easy to use, I do things “as and when” rather than waiting until it’s worth getting the Karcher connected up.

So like most gadgets, it’s “horses for courses”. A few words of advice: don’t use dirty water, or you’ll have to keep cleaning the filter, which is very small. And get a spare battery, the bigger the better, if you want to keep working with it for very long. I got a 6 Ah one, and I haven’t managed to run it down yet.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersPurchased this primarily for mountain biking, which it does very well! battery lasts long enough to hose off 2 bikes thoroughly, my only snag was I planned to use the 2L Bottle adapter and wash off 2 bikes with a couple of 2L bottles but that dream soon died – this thing can drain a 2L bottle in about 15-20 seconds.

What I’ve done is purchase a 25L jerry can which I keep in the boot of my car with about 10L of water in it, heavy enough that it wont fall/spill and then just put the included hose into it & I’ll probably use the same method for car washing etc as well rather than running the garden hose around.

Admittedly you won’t be ever be cleaning the patio with it, and perhaps if your car is exceptionally filthy you’d be better off with a powered pressure washer – but for regular cleans etc this thing is brilliant, I’ve also used it to hose off my windows/doors and even blasted some particularly stubborn dirt off the bath…. not many pressure washers you can use indoors!

Bought this because can use same batteries as my other Worx tools. Also more convenient when washing the car than dragging a long hose out which keeps getting kinked. The only drawback is there is not really enough pressure to remove stubborn dirt from car I get more pressure from my normal hose pipe.

Could do with a bit more pressure, but hey it’s a portable battery operated jet wash.

It may not have the full power of a mains pressure washer but it is excellent for when you can’t be bothered with all the hassle associated with a plug in unit. Ideal for washing the car or conservatory or keeping the yard and driveway clean. The big advantage is the flexibility for keeping in the car, with the use of a 2 litre bottle it is perfect on the low pressure setting for rinsing off the the dog after a walk in the woods (The Dog Loves it) . It won’t replace a high power unit but it is much more convenient and has many more uses. If you have a larger car or a 4×4 and want to get up around the wheels etc, you will probably be advised to keep a spare battery.

A little expensive but this is a fine pressure washer with decent power. I bought it to clean my golf trolley of mud during the winter muddy months. Bought a 5 litre jerrycan for this job. Haven’t used it for that yet but have used for other things and I am impressed. Battery only lasts about 15 – 20 minutes before needing a recharge, however that is plenty of time to do what it was bought for. Probably enough time to wash the car thoroughly too. Adjustable pressure speeds so can also be used to wash off muddy pets after their walks. Recommended.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI found this unit easy to manage and use with the minimum of preparation. I have used it successfully for cleaning my wrought iron gates and washing our cars. It does not have the power of a mains powered pressure washer but this is compensated for by it’s ease of use as well as it’s mobility at home and on trips away when you only need a bucket of water to enable its use. This is presuming the battery is charged.

Perfect for what I needed, car, general cleaning. Just remember it’s not a full on pressure washer but not too far off. A 4 ah extra battery would be a good addition as the 2 ah is only just enough to properly clean a car.

AS long as you get this not expecting immense pressure that’ll rip the skin off your fingers you should be happy! It’s more than good enough to clean the cars, I’ve washed my decking with it, cleaned rubbish off of concrete etc. The battery lasts about 20 minutes – it’s a great solution for not trailing wires around, or if you don’t have an outdoor tap!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhilst its true the power output from this is less than a ‘conventional’ pressure washer, probably about 1/2 power, I find that a soap coating, leave for 10 minutes, sponge all over then rinse off, throw a leather over afterwards and it works a treat. I have a new(ash) Mini Countryman (For size comparison) and it’ll do three whole washes on one charge with the standard battery. I managed a wash on just one bucket of warm water and the car was a proper tip to start with, so well happy, its also great for watering your plants etc and can draw water from a water butt too, but the extra 2L water bottle adapter for a fiver and you’ve got a pretty awesome piece of kit. 4.0A non original batteries are on eBay for about 35 if you need more power or longer running. Great bit of kit, now…Anyone want to buy a Karcher ?

My van is a sprinter XLWB, costs me 17 to get it washed at my local wash place.bought this as I was spending 17 every week. after brooming with my telescopic soapy broom, all I need is my worx to wash the soap.bucket of 20L clean water to rinse just leaves 1 bar battery left with all water gone that’s exactly 18mins at full power.
After 6 washes I’ll have got my monies worth,. Power is fine I mean you can’t put a price on practicality, shoots decent.
Only downside if you wash your car make sure total run time doesn’t exceed 20mins otherwise you’ll find yourself with a dead battery and still a half-washed car.

Very good for cleaning the car.I found it best to use washing up liquid as it lasts long enough to wash whole car.The Halfords Shampoo liquid ran out after 3 minutes. The spray itself works very well, not too much pressure, that would possibly damage paintwork. The battery lasted long enough to soap car and rinse. As I have to wash 2 cars I bought another battery.I am going to use it occasionally to clean my windows and surrounding frames and also to clean my roof guttering .I also cleaned my muddy boots which worked really well.

If you need a portable pressure washer for light to medium tasks, then this is perfect. Washing cars, cycles, etc are ideal use cases. I used it on a bike and my car and happily got 30+ mins of run time. However, if you’re looking to clean your patio or driveway, then this isn’t really the right tool for that job. In tests, it is indeed powerful enough to clean the bricks and slabs, but the battery will not last the whole job. Better off going for a mains-powered pressure washer on those occasions.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersGOOD: portable, quite light, adjustable spray, no faf with hoses (but you can connect it to mains water if you want to), easy to store.
LESS GOOD: If you want any power, you really have to keep it on the narrowest jet setting.
It is what it says – between a powered spray and a power washer. You can lift dirt off many surfaces (I used it on the car/wheels) and it is OK but NOT as potent as a proper power washer. 4 stars, because it would be nice to have just a little more power for the car washing so you could blast dirt with a slight fan spray.

This is not a power washer but is great for remote washing down where no power or mains water readily available. I use it for washing down a motorhome using two buckets of water with appropriate cleaner in one and rinser in the other. Produces a spray of water without causing damage to mastic seals. A bit expensive for the job but the convenience makes up for the cost.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersSuperb cordless pressure washer and ideal for washing our motorhome which is stored in a secure compound. As there’s no water to use we take a large bin with some water in it, shampoo and a container of hot water and bobs your uncle! Shampoo the motorhome, including the top and then power wash it off. Fully charged battery did the job and still had charge left in it. If you bear in mind that it’s cordless, so not as powerful as a mains unit, nevertheless it works very well indeed.

Great for cars and motorbikes (which had been my intended use). Battery takes a while to charge from new but lasts well. Batteries/charger can be used with other Worx products (hedge trimmers, chainsaws, mowers, etc.). Ideal for my needs as I ride a bike all year round. NOTE: that the max inlet pressure is 0.5 barg. Happy overall with the hydroshot, it is powerful enough for most applications, although, as it states, it will not do heavy duty cleaning. My only complaint is the 20V 2.0AH battery that is included, takes a long time to charge and will only last for about 20 mins of continuous use. I have now bought the worx 20v 4.0AH battery and this seems to last a lot longer.

Its a very fast water jet that works better than the hose, and will get rid of the muck, just takes a bit more time. But for a battery powered power washer it is great very light and easy to store foam cannon is my favourite thing it does as helps when cleaning the car as it lacks a little bit of extra power.

One piece of advice is invest in a second battery from worx get the 4mh 20v. As battery life is not fantastic, found myself rushing to finish rinsing my car off before the battery dies.
