2 awesome tools and a strong bag to store them happy custome
I was already using Worx tools and these came in a very good price! I can’t compare to any other brands since I’m not a professional builder, but does the job very well. The impact driver was a bonus
My only criticism of the product would be that the battery takes a long time to recharge so a bigger battery would help. Easy to use. Happy with i
great drills the impact one is great for screwing bolts into wood a great pack of drills
Great set and fantastic price not used them as yet.
I have had worx power tools before and am impressed with their robust build and reliability. These seem no different and are much cheaper than some of the professional brands. For DIY, these are more than good enough. Plenty of power and 2 batteries. The only downside is the carry bag which is next to useless. Fitting both tools inside with batteries is like one of those infuriating puzzles your auntie buys you for Christmas.
Ordered the quick charge battery charger and another spare battery as i use it alot.
Great set of combi drill-screwdriver
I have bought it few months ago so far pretty impressed.I have used it in exterior brick wall and to drill Iron no problems whatsoever.Comfortable on the hand ,lightweight pretty pleased with the product.I think its Ideal for most people that they want a reliable and practical toll for the usual needs around the house.
Solid feel , good power, feels great good for those quick small jobs , cannot comment on battery life yet , but I am happy with my purchase.
I’ve got five worx tools now some over five years oldwith batteries fitting all. They’ve not let me down at all plus used every day
My old Makita set was a bit tired, big and needed replacing. Bought these as I have the lawn mower and strimmer to use battery share. I am very impressed with both the drill and impact driver. Perfect set for DIY, I think the impact driver may be a little weak for professional use but for putting up pictures and making things out of wood, perfect.
I read all the reviews and was in two minds about buying this combo. I only got it for the driver to put down some decking. I was sceptical at first at how good the driver would be but it was driving in 150mm deck screws into 6×2 all day long. The charger that comes with the pack is useless unless time isn’t an issue and you’re doing light use, I was lucky enough to have a quick charger from a worx jigsaw I bought earlier in the year and it worked perfectly with the batteries. The drill is actually decent too drove 65mm deck screws with ease.
It’s definitely worth the money two decent drills with sufficient power, if you have worx tools already and have a quick charger this is a no brainer purchase, if you don’t it’s still worth buying but I highly recommend getting a 1hr quick charger.
Used these a few times now. Both units are well built and have that solid feel to them. For diy use I can’t fault them. I’ve given 4 stars only because the charge time is 3 to 5 hours from flat. My old combi drill was a Makita with a fast charger which took less than 30 minutes to charge from flat. Also the bag which comes with the kit is slightly small in my opinion. Overall for what diy projects I do they are great. Hope this helps.
What a great package 2 cordless drills 2 batteries and a charger for 105 the 18v drill is a good drill has done what I wanted but can’t comment on the impact drill as probably won’t use it,I bought the set as a replacement for my old 12v and considering cordless drills on there own are 60 plus this seems to be a fair price for 2 comes well packaged and has a little bag to put your drills in ( I have bought a case instead) only downside is the charger takes ages to charge the batteries ( a few hours) but you can use the batteries on worx other products which is a bonus overall I like it and would recommend at this price for 2 update 3/12/21 I have used the cordless drill a few times on various different things and works brilliantly even on massonary has plenty of powe
Love love love these tools! Small but powerful, good battery life and build quality.
So good to be able to ditch the extension cord.
Highly recommended.
Perfect pair for the price they are. Fine for diy jobs around the house.
Battery life is good, both have lots of torque the drill has good balance will be getting bigger batteries for them in the future
Excellent value and a pleasure to use. Due to arthritis to my hands it is so great to use the impact drill which reduces the time and effect when working.
Likes.
They both do what they are supposed to. Great value for money for the quality.
Dislikes.
Instructions could have been more clearer and with more wording. Plus the carrier bag could have been slightly bigger to put all the items in. Perhaps with pockets for the batteries and charger.
Good stuff. For the price and to get the two drills of this quality a good deal.
Charger is a bit lightweight but does the job.
Would recommend.
Nice feel to both items. Battery life is pretty good to be fair for the price. Does the job nicely. The battery will tell you when it needs charging as the impact driver will stop dead when trying to fix a screw into something….it’s not the unit gone wrong!
Great combination
Does everything it needs to
Compact strong
Love the worx range have so much of the kit now
Well the ugly wooden blocks that I have been trying to unscrew from the wall for a year are gone. The screws just came out! No effort. The batons are fixed and the trellis is up. They were only delivered 3 hours ago.
I bought the drill & impact driver for emergency use not for heavy duty use. I am converted to WORX they really are well made and robust. I have now used both numerous times and I can’t fault them. I handy carry case whihc was included is great I usually leave it in my car so its on hand when I need it. There were 2 batteries included, plus a slow charger (up to 2 hours) but you can buy a fast charger which I will probably do.
I was also impressed with the weigh these are a good weight, not too heavy or light and flimsy, I would recommend for any DIY’er looking for an affordable drill and impact driver.
Very good drills and value for money. The only problem is that they scratch very easily.
Fantastic offer! They arrived quicker than expected. I really like WORX products and these are brillia
Excellent tools for the money. Bought these to replace my worx cordless drill which lasted me years and was used for various jobs. Would recommend
I bought these for DIY projects, they worked a treat, impact driver is very strong drives in screws with no effort, even into 4×4 posts. Hammer drill works exactly as it should……….really pleased with set and up till now batteries have been strong…
Bargin buy defo great value for money as brought my partner as a present and hes very happy
Good enough for diy used these in the past, just a shame most of the kit was missing when arrived so done a return so i could get another one and been waiting almost 3 weeks now. Dont expect makita or dewalt quality and power.
Very good drill pack.My husband very happy to have it.Thank you to seller for fast delivery.
Nice quality feels good chargers fast and batteries last long great value .
Much smaller than drill they’re replacing, but the drill is powerful enough for everything I’ve used it for so far (steel, wood, rotary wire brush). Haven’t tried hammer function yet.
Impact driver lacks grunt and isn’t variable, but I bought this set for the drill, so the driver is a convenient bonus for not having to keep swapping drilling/driving bits.
Batteries take a while to charge but last a good length of time (when new), charger is conveniently small, cable feels a bit cheap/easily damaged.
For the price: a capable, compact and robust set. Happy with the purchase.
Seems like a good set and good value for money so far!
Great little set. Plenty of strength in the impact driver and battery lasts ages. nice balance when holding them. very happy with purchase. Highly recommend.
Well worth the price for both drills. Not had to charge since first charge. Money well spe
Both Impact driver and Hammer drill worked well and are suitable for any DIY jobs around the home.
The hammer drill struggled a little in carboniferous limestone but normal brick and cinder block was fine, wood/metal no problems. I actually bought the drills to get two additional batteries and charger for a WORX mower I bought, the batteries worked fine with the mower and gave me around 1hr extra juice even though they were 1.5Ah instead of 2.0Ah.
Overall a good value set of drills with Two batteries.
I actually bought this from argos but thought it deserved a review.
I’ve had this kit for a while now, being a fan of WORX stuff, I decided to expand my collection and buy this set as it’s fairly good bang for buck.
Now, first off. All the tradesmen here saying it has little power etc. You are correct. Go and buy your super expensive super drill. You need that for your daily trade. WORX is not for you.
WORX products are for the average Joe. But saying that, I’ve completed several projects with these that would usually be done by an expensive tradesmen.
They stand up for themselves in all honesty when it comes to power, whenever they give up, I usually agree with them.
They keep going and going. And then charge very fast.
They look great, sound great, smell great.
They are very well balanced.
I have one problem with the drill, that would be that it’s motor has such a heavy engine brake, that it sometimes loosens it’s chuck when halted after spinning at full rpm. A demonstration of it’s capability being also a possible negative. But oh well.
Not a lot else to say, except buy this if you want to be averager than the average joe, without spending dewalt money.
And remember, not all “high end” products are actually worth their weight. Go read the lower star (honest) reviews on some. On some more affordable high end brand product lines, brands like WORX can really give them a run for their money.
Worx are a good make for the amateur diyer i think. Good value tools and robust.
Absolutely great tools these, though i did get the higher capacity batterys too as only comes with 2x 1.5s
This combination set is used in the main for diy jobs around the home&garde
Can’t believe how powerful it is —- it’s small and powerful — like the women I like — but it doesn’t smell as good — great drill
I like how light they are and the batteries last a long time
The build quality of the drills are very good – not too heavy and comfy in the hand. The impact driver works extremely well, but don’t use cheap driver bits as they tend to shear off.
The drill itself has one issue. The keyless chuck keeps loosening and the drills keep falling out.
Other than that, not bad but could be improved.
Construction of drill set very good and lightweight, carry bag not large enough or well made. Have to take battery’s of drill to fit in bag.
A lot smaller than I anticipated..should have read spec..fine for small jobs and seem very robust. Yet to try on something bigger. Overall good little tools and easy 5o carry around.
Both machines seem capable. Used for a few weeks now. Few big jobs, shop refits, etc … Batteries last ages, tools hold up well. Dropped drill bits when brand new, as I’ve found most machines do, factory smooth with finishing oil to keep them nice in the box until sold, it’s normal.. Amazing price for what you get. I use Milwaukee at work and these were a try out at a tenth of the price, I’m very impressed, and hey if you don’t like the bag, spend another fiver at your local DIY and buy a box!!
works well, great battery life converted to WorX tools as only a home DIYe
Very handy. My old drill had given up after over 10yrs of service. The battery would no longer charge and it was a DIY store branded version. This WORX set, Driver and Drill is ace. My only complaint is the batteries do take a long time to charge, shame a fast charger was not included but for 100 I’m nit picking and its good value. Solid build and feels like it can take some punishment. I will most likely invest in other WORX tools – probably the hydroshot next for washing the car.
Excellent quality and fast charging. 2 batteries and charger. You can’t go wrong with this beauty
I’m kitchen fitter using them all the time. Perfect for my job and half price than all other makes but the same quality! I will buy again!
Good enough quality for my DIY use and was called into use straight away. Impact driver functioned straight from the box and easily drove a 5 inch screw through joists.
Only criticism is that the bag that comes with it is probably best for manual screw drivers etc or similar tools. I bought a rigid box to afford some sort of protection for tools batteries and chargers that would have been bashed together in the bag supplied.
Everything worked well, I was hoping for a one hour charger that was the only thing i was disappointed with
I should have thrown away my old cordless drill years ago instead I hung onto it with life and limb
After borrowing my next door neighbours drill which happened to be one of these I fell in love with it and have to go out and buy the double set which now he is jealous of because he doesn’t have an impact drill no is his drill or hammer drill.
I also like the idea that I can connect it to other devices in the Range and still use the same battery packs.
I made a load of shelving approximately drilled 200 holes and put 200 screws in on One battery
Needless to say I am very impressed as my old drill I would be on the third battery by now.
They are small yet powerful and very light in the hand to hold and don’t have the weight of the battery pack swinging your wrist around as you’re using it they are very sturdy and solid InDesign I am looking forward to buying more of the same range.
Fantastic product, unbelievable price, battery’s and charger will cost around 60-70 alone , purchased to replace a 2year old faulty impact driver same make and model hope this one lasts longer.
Love these. The impact driver is a must. Drives screws into wood like butter and no need to drill pilot holes. Was ideal to put my decking down and build my shed. Saved me hours of time. Drill excellent as well. Perfect for most jobs and powerful as well. Batteries last ages and charge fast. Recommend to a few friends who have bought it and love it. And you wont find it cheaper anywhere else. And believe me I looked.
Very pleased with the worx drill driver.
Will be buying other worx tools
I have been using this set for a while and I think is very good. In comparison to Makita 160MN impact it’s not as strong but I found myself using worx more due to less aggressive impact. The only downfall is the carrying pouch. Its too small to have devices with. Arteries plugged in so they just rattle in the case. Hard case would be much better. Also barber supplied with the kit was a very slow charger not fast charger. Hence 4 not 5 stars
