Lovely heater. Works well with where we have placed it in the kitchen. Looks good.
I live in a studio apartment and this heater has proved to be a marvellous purchase. I set it at a comfortable 21 degrees and it heats my whole flat in a very short time. It’s a really attractive design and is easily programmed to provide warmth when required. I am extremely pleased with this product and I would add that the customer service is very good. After my dog ate the instruction manual I called Warme and they sent me a replacement manual very quickly. I would definitely recommend this heater.
Thank you.
Very good company and very reliable had a issue with a heater and straight away communication was good and replaced it straight away love the heaters I bought. Grate price. Would definitely recommend GOD Bless stay safe
This heater is very impressive – you can warm
Up a room in less than 30 mins and in a smaller space can take as little as 10 mins. It’s very efficient. My only issue is that the timer function and controls are a little complex to use.
Overall a great heater and really efficient.
I have this in a 12 by 10 cabin and love it. It only takes 10 mins at most to heat the entire cabin and the heat really lasts after turning off. Definitely the best for energy efficiency that I have tried
Delighted with my choice in this wall mounted heater, it looks really modern and fits in well with my new bathroom, it’s a brilliant and great at warming the room straight away and it’s thermostat keeps the temperature at a set temperature of your choice, its perfect in size and I would highly recommend
The heater isnt chikd friendly you have to put it high so they dont burn their hands on the glass fro
Fantastic for both Private + Commercial use!
The heat is almost instantaneous when switched on or timers activate.
Ease of use with ‘timed’ ‘weekly/daily’ program
And the look is to die for!
Very Happy Customer.
This heater is perfect. I have a bar in my garden that’s 5m x 3m and it heats it up very quickly. The timer function allows me to set it to come on prior to going out there and the thermostat means it keeps it at a constant temperature without having to turn it on and off all the time. I would highly recommend this heater for many different needs
I bought one of these heaters for a downstairs reception room. I was very pleased with how quickly it would heat up the room and I’ve ended up buying a second one for our attic.
Warms up quickly a bit awkward to set timer but overall OK
Before purchasing I read the reviews and was concerned about programming. I went ahead and purchased one. The warmer heater looks superb, it’s efficient and not complicated to program at all. I have it set at 20 degrees C and that is ample to heat a large room. One of the best heater I’ve had.
We loved the look of the heater instantly. Did it do the job of heating our log cabin though ? Easy to install and we wall-mounted the heater in our 6×4 metre cabin. It heated quickly and efficiently and after only a few days, we found a heat setting that more than sufficed (and we went through some real ice and snow during December). The only downside is the timer function which has been criticised by other reviewers. It needs to be more explicit in the instruction manual as we struggled to understand it. We don’t need a timer function luckily. We just turn the heater on when the alarm clock goes off and within 10 minutes or so, it’s already getting up to temperature. Any excuse for a lie in !
Elegant design. Instant heat when needed.
The timer is a bit complicated.
The heat can be set to a constant.
It is economical to run.
Overall it is a lot better than my central heating to keep my chalet bungalow warm.
I have one at each end of my home and so far no complaints at all.
This is a great heater. It is NOT a heater that you press a button and it starts pumping heat, it is a programmable heater with a multitude of settings. Can even set it to 20 degrees and not kick back on again until three degrees lower.
Yes – you have to read the instructions – but once you’ve set it up, you literally don’t even need to touch it again.
Works perfectly – looks great!
No problem with heat out put look and size. for me the program function is too complicated
I really like this fire and it warms my room a treat. But it’s really difficult to program and turn on would be better if you could control it through an app. Which I thought I could 🙁
I have only just started using this as the winter cold kicks in. I’m impressed with the heat output. I can’t comment on how efficient it is from an energy standpoint or cost yet because I have only been using it for 2 days. I personally found the programming of the device to be more complicated than it needs to be. I’m a technical person, so I understand it but I think it could be simplified considerably.
Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and I’ll probably buy some more of these once I understand the running costs.
I’m mostly satisfied with the product.
I use it in my garden room and it heats up really quick
Down size is that it’s quite difficult to program
Had this a few weeks and still have to look at instructions to turn it on
I wouldn’t attempt to set the timer
But once it’s on you get instant hea
I purchased this heater to use in place of the crappy electric heaters in my small flat, hoping that it will save me money on the electricity. Unfortunately it doesn’t really save me money to run as a replacement.
However, I’ve kept the product as it is convenient to be able to set the time and temperature. It also heats the place up FAR quicker than the heaters I was using previously.
There was a learning curve with the control panel and setting it up, it took me a while to realise you unlock the panel by pressing ‘ok’ for 5 seconds, but now it’s easier after some practice and getting used to it. I wouldn’t reccomend for anyone who would normally struggle with technology.
Overall it’s an alright heater, even if it isn’t saving me money.
The heaters (I ordered 3) arrived much quicker than I expected. They look very smart and were easy to mount on the walls.
The heat output is so high, I’ve only needed to run 2, on the cold days, so far. I use it to heat my 35 square meter wooden garden office/gym.
I haven’t programmed them to come on at set times yet but when I do, I’ll update my review with my experience.
Energy efficiency I won’t know until I’ve had a few utility bills.
The control panel is not intuitive ie, on or off. You need to read the manual just to understand the symbols displayed.
Heater for home bar. Heats the room fantastically. Slightly thicker than expected, the contols take a bit of getting used to but when it comes to heating its very fast getting to temperature.
This has been purchased as secondary heating in a flat. But once I got the hang of them they will now be the main heating. Very effective and look very modern. So pleased with them.
Not the cheapest, but definitely on point reference quality, visually, & it gets hot.
Excellent timer, multi function, once set up nothing else todo.
100% Happy
I don’t know the figures but a my living room is always cold has solid floors and big windows 8m x 5m floor area. This one heater got the room from 18 degrees to 25 degrees in under 1 hour that’s Celsius by the way.
Turned off and the room was toasty for 2 hours.
I am pretty happy with this heater, it looks great in my new office, doesn’t take up too much space, gives off a lovely heat, but I really can’t figure out how to use the programming, so at the moment, I’m opting for a simple on and off. (which still isn’t the easiest tbh)
It would be awesome if there was a help line to talk me through how to programme the timings so I can make the most of it in the winter, coming on an hour before I come to the office. Apart from that, I’m a happy customer.
With its sleek looks, great heat output and energy efficiency this heater has turned my only use during summer orangery into the all year round work and relax space I intended it to be.
Multi functions for either instant heat and a 24hr timer that can be set in advance are just 2. There is also the option of a thermostat function so once set up I shouldn’t have to worry about dead plants during the winter.
It comes with the options of floor standing or wall mounted with detachable feet and wall bracket mountings which is a great idea, no trip hazard or taken up floor space.
So yes. Well pleased
Received the unit which was extremely well packaged. Was to be wall mounted in an outside cabin and instructions to fit brackets were clear and concise. Easily mounted on wall and switched on and left to heat up the area. Was pleasantly surprised when I re entered the cabin to find that the area was warm but did not have the oppressive heat normally associated with a convector heater.
Great quality , stylish heater which does exactly what I need it to do.
This is one powerful heater it heats our conservatory up in no time at all and switches itself off when reaching desired room temperature set, nice sleek design looks amazing on the wall! Settings take a bit of getting used to but taking time you soon get the hang of it. It doesn’t cost us that much if set to come on then go off when required. Would highly recommend heater. 5 stars
Superb wall heater. Not sure any of the negative comments as the heat it throws out is amazing. Purchase in April for outside cabin when it was cold, heated the 3.5M x 2.5M cabin within 10 minutes. Many settings to choose from, yes there are many options abs needs a bit of time to get used to but what doesn’t when you buy an electrical product? Very pleased and everyone who has been in cabin thinks it looks great too. Reasonably easy to wall mount too
Good looking wall mounted heater. But unfortunately like most things you buy now, the instruction booklet is poor. I had to go online at YouTube to work out the instant heat section.
This is a very sleek, relatively small & effective heater. The programing instructions in the manual are not clear but if you go to the questions & answers section of the item on Amazon, a purchaser, Alatralala, has laid them out in a very useful step by step guide in her post on 2 December 2020. I cannot tell how economical the heater is to run as yet but it’s made a big difference to the comfort of the room I have it in.
A bit fiddly, but once you get an understanding of it. It’s great. Heats up the toom very quickly. Haven’t quite figured out the timer settings. But one step at a time. Unsure if it is energy efficient yet. Only time will tell.
These are fantastic radiators. So good we bought 2. One for our top floor which has less insulation and one for our kids room. Temperature setting is perfect as when the thermostat detects it going under the temperature you want it will start to heat the room again. Very quickly heats the room and retains it.
These are fantastic and would only buy these and not other panel radiators if I was to buy any more
It’s a bit complicated to work and pressuring the touch screen isn’t always the most responsive but when you get it on it works great. Really heats up the small room I have it in.
Well, we were in the process of changing our outdated storage heaters and saw these on Amazon. We were a bit apprehensive to start (as you do!). We ordered them in November but didn’t fit them until late January as we had to sort out a fault electric economy 7 meter and the installation of a new electricity meter and change the tariff which was a ballache. The guys at Warme were very supportive and patient and guided us through. When we unpacked the last heater it was apparent it had been dropped before packaging. A cpl of photos later and Lucy at Warme had arranged a free pickup of the old one and delivery of the replacement. Excellent service and communication. I’m a IT luddite and Lucy kindly sent me an additional instruction manual for idiots she had prepared. I cannot fault the product once you get your head around it. Fast, efficient, a brilliant buy! Customer service was awesome. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
his really is fantastic. We purchased this for our garden mancave and honestly this is great to heat up the room and manage the temperature. This also looks great and people are surprised when we tell them this is a heater. Def would recommend
We got this heater for our conservatory it heats up quickly & looks smart.
Down side is the controls they are difficult to set & almost impossible to change settings once you have set them. The directions are complicated & misleading.
Powerful but economical heater. It’s more efficient on a timer. The programming takes a little bit of time to sort out but once you have, there’s no Ned to touch it again. Would recommend.
Very smart fire easy to hang onto the wall but you need a degree on how to operate it 🙁 I just wanted a fire that I could turn on and off when needed it’s so complicated!!!!!!!
Bought it for use in our conservatory, which we have recently had insulation installed under the roof. That and the heater mean that the room is very comfortable. Easy to programme, following the leaflet and gets up to the set temperature very quickly. Very pleased with it.
Its smart aesthetics and impressive heat output have made me very happy with this purchase. My only complaint is the great difficulty users will experience when attempting to navigate their way through the programming of this appliance as it is not intuitive at all.
This is a brilliant heater. The room we use it in is always cold even with the heating on. This makes the room toasty warm and warms the whole of the upstairs too.
I bought 1 of these to try and it arrived very promptly and proved to be very well engineered – it’s a quality product. I then looked at the instructions and they are nigh on useless and need to be redesigned. However, I have to thank the company for all the help they gave me to set up the programming – couldn’t have been better – they gave me a button by button instruction as to how to do it and with a few hiccoughs along the way I worked it out and it’s really not that complicated once you get your head around it! On the strength of all this I have bought 2 more as they’re so efficient at heating up the room and really quickly. I’ve already thanked them but it’s worth stating again – impressive stuff. Looking at some others reviews I would suggest that they shouldn’t be afraid of asking for help!
Its light weight, easy to navigate and the heat output is excellent. I have a large room, kitchen/diner that was very cold especially during winter. We bought another electric heater before this one which broke down after a year. I can honestly say the heat output is better in this one and the child lock is very handy especially when you have little ones running about. Overall brilliant product.
I didnt recieve a remote control with my product?
Wonderfully warm, even on a low setting. Finding the controls a little fiddly but it just takes a little trial & error. Looks much better than a traditional heater.
Heater works well have purchased two but am disappointed with the display which is difficult to see and have had problems with the unit not turning off when required heat is set also sometimes won’t turn off on heater so you have to use mains switch. Then when put back on everything is ok
Any thoughts on these issues
I am a mechanical engineer specialising in commercial construction, so I have in depth knowledge on heating requirements for buildings. I bought 4 of these radiators a year and half ago and I got to say I am very impressed. It is excellent at heating spaces and very quickly with some great programmable features.
Recently one of my heaters packed in, I emailed warme on a Saturday and within 5 minutes I had a response. Within 10 minutes and exchange of a few emails warme sent out a replacement radiator free of charge. Their customer service is incredible and very quick.
I highly recommend this product, it has some great features but mainly it’s heat delivery is very impressive.
Thank you again warme for a great product and with all your assistance.
This is the best heater we have ever used for our large glass roof conservatory. We have tried oil heaters, fan heaters and lost count of others we have bought and tried (none of them were good enough and cost an absolute fortune to run). After reading the reviews for this very modern looking heater, we considered buying 2 of them just to ensure we could make our conservatory more welcoming in the winter months. Bought only one just to see how good it was, and we are amazed at the speed it heats up our favourite room in the house. We don’t need another one of this as it is so good and checked our smart meter display when it was set at 23 degrees and it was still low electric useage. We are considering buying one for our open landing upstairs as I now know we can reduce the temp. or on our gas boiler and have this heater on set at our chosen temperature. Okay, the only negative? the control panel is so confusing. I watched the video and read the leaflet which didn’t explain anymore than I had already worked out. How to set the temp for every day/hour (I cannot work out so have given up) and I am known for refusing to being beaten by anything. I know if you keep the OK button pressed, the ‘child lock unlocks’. I just basically set it for instant heat when I want it on. My daughter uses this room as her study room so she is in absolute heaven with this heater. From a very impressed customer who is telling all her friends who have conservatories/cold rooms
I was replacing some very old wall mounted storage heaters that although were not ideal, heated the room very quickly. I’m happy that this heater, being nearly half the size of my storage heaters heats the room very quickly and with next to no noise at all. Takes a little bit of getting use to the settings…great if you want to use the timer settings but if you are like me and want to use it as just a heater to kick out some heat when you switch it on, then it takes a few minutes to read the manual and find what you need.
When turning it off there are some slight ticking noise and powering down (probably attributed to moving parts inside halting and cooling down) but it only lasts for maximum 10 seconds. Sound when powering on and when running is great, barely know its on.
I bought two of these at the same time, and unfortunately one was delivered completely smashed. A quick message using the Amazon messaging service and they got it replaced AND the damaged product collected at the same time, within a convenient time frame without any hassle. Great customer service. Overall a fantastic product and worth the money.
I was looking for an effective and efficient heater for our offices. Reading through some of the reviews I finally bought five of this product, I was sceptical about claims that the Warme heater, made the whole building warm. Within just over an hour, there was a noticeable difference in the building and everywhere was comfortably warm. I cannot yet comment on the efficient / running cost but I expect it will be considerably less than the 20 year old storage heaters these wall heaters were bought to replace. Despite some reviewers finding the programming a little tricky I found it fairly strait forward. I must confess I am impressed and anyone looking for a stylish heater, that is economical to run and kicks out some serious heat should check this out.
Find the controls very confusing even after watching the online tutorial (which rushes through a couple of the functions). It does heat up but only to about 19 degrees and never higher than that, which I believe is because I do not know how to set it correctly and just put it on instant heat. It is very sleek and looks nice and has heated up the house more than my old one though.
The second generation heater was somewhat form over function. As written elsewhere, the menus weren’t very intuitive and the documentation provided was as minimalist as the product design. Once you’d had them affixed either by the provided wall brackets or floor stand, they were very simple to remove and move around. Over a winter a half, I found my electric bills somewhat reduced but not remarkably so. Had I reviewed it in December 2018, my score would probably have been 3.5 stars.
What changed it was the breakdown of one of them in Jan 2019, the middle of a cold snap. My warranty was still valid, so I emailed Designer Heaters that the heater had suddenly stopped heating. Not knowing what to expect, I was positively surprised when Lucy promptly responded to say that she would organise a courier to collect it. As good as her word, in a couple of days it was picked up by Parcel Force and delivered to Wrme.
Within a day of delivery, Lucy wrote to me that they would replaced the stricken unit with a new third generation heater, which I promise I will address before the end of this review. Naturally I was happy to accept. It was shipped on the Friday, delivered by noon on the Monday and is now working away as I write.
Comparing the third generation with its predecessor, the redesign is more than cosmetic, though there is that as well. In particular it ships with a more professionally reassuring manual. It’s clear that some of the more eccentric controls have been made more sensible. In operation it appears to be generally faster and more efficient, although I cannot yet vouch for actual energy savings in pounds and pence. Most of all, the wall brackets are now indeed minimalist and would be simple enough to fit even for a DIY novice (the reader may rely on my personal experience in this matter). At the price of 150 for the new model, it would merit 4 stars, perhaps a shade higher.
Yet the reason I gave it five stars is the helpfulness and unassuming professionalism from Wrme. Things do go wrong or break down at inconvenient times; how they are dealt with is what matters. If you do buy this heater, do make sure you retain the instructions and packaging, but do so knowing that it is well backed up by the customer service.
Couple points of criticism though, they definitely are not as efficient as they claim to be, and the controls can be tiresome to set; especially if you are putting the heater on timer for certain parts of the day.
I cannot comment on durability as we have only had it a month but so far it has not broken down. We have kept as a freestanding model which is a good option to have so I can’t comment on ease of installation either. It’s easy enough to use once you get the hang of it but it takes a while to decipher the instructions. We are really pleased with it though, it provides excellent heat in a short time and the thermostat is great.
This really is a remarkable product. I live in a 2 bedroom flat (45m2) in a converted industrial building with quite high ceilings and large windows in Scotland. I read reviews that said one radiator heated a whole floor of a house so bought one three months ago to see if it would heat my whole flat. So far, it has! I’m really stunned at how efficient it is. Once I got the hang of it the thermostat was easy to set so that I have the economy mode on most of the time I’m out and also at night. My electricity bill is very low.
I highly recommend the product!
– getting the program set up is next to impossible! We still haven’t figured out how to do it, is extremely confusing. Also once is up and running the heater sometimes makes some weird noises!!
But hey at least we are not freezing
Update **still unable to program this heater!!! So frustrating
Looks very classy and contemporary heats my room up quickly and efficiently. My only criticism would be that you need a degree to work out how to use the timer. Other than that a superb buy.
We have recently moved house and my “man room” has been allocated to the garage. Needless-to-say, with winter fast approaching and my man room unheated, it became important to try and find some reasonable way to maintain temperature inside the garage room. This room is not huge (around 10 ft x 8 ft), but it is exposed to big swings in temperature due to no insulation, no double-glazed windows and no central heating. Therefore, having a heater that can be programmed to come on/off when I want it to, as well as maintain some guaranteed background temperature, is a big plus!
This Wrme radiator looks like a 32″ TV, yet is lightweight and easy to move around. Getting the unit programmed was a little tricky. The manual does outline the basics, but it did take a little trial-and-error to get days Monday-Sunday programmed without overwriting another day. Anyway, I now have the unit programmed to always maintain a temperature above 5 degrees (their so-called “frost-free” function), but I also have the unit programmed to come on to heat the man room during times when I’m most likely to use it (Monday 6-8pm), Wednesday (4-6pm), Saturday (10-12pm) and Sunday (10-12pm). This is very helpful since the room gets heated to a nice temperature (set to 18 degrees) just before I use it, and with the “frost-free” function I never have to worry about very cold temperatures that may effect the electronics in my man room.
Overall, I’m very happy with the Wrme radiator and I hope it lasts for a long time. With a 2-year warranty I can relax for the first two years incase anything happens, but the unit does seem robust and I hope I never have to use the warranty.
Overall happy with this product, looks really good with the glass fronted panel and digital display. Throws out good heat and quickly. Can’t comment on energy consumption/cost as only received it a couple of days ago and weather has dictated that it hasn’t needed to be on for any period of time. Like other reviewers have commented, I have found the digital display setting very difficult to understand. I will not be setting the timer, I just want to set the temperature/thermostat and have it come on/off according to that when I have it switched on, but I’ve found the whole exercise rather difficult and time consuming. I would recommend though for design and how quickly it heats up, I like the fact that you can set the temperature on it, but the negative for me would be the difficult programming. I haven’t found that easy at all. It’s great that it offers this feature, but I think it’s overly confusing.
For a 2kw radiator, it warmed up our entire living really well despite it being in the corner and it took about 15 minutes. Our living room is 6.5 x 5.2 metres and we had the temperature on 23 degrees.
As most reviews have already stated, the controls aren’t as straightforward. I guess it’s the symbols and numbers meaning different things. See the picture.
Overall, it’s been pretty good so far, bit pricey but it’s ideal for us cos of its ability to programme times for the radiator to turn on. Only thing is it has to have a set programme on at all times when using this. We have the frost free function for when we don’t need heat. This means the radiator will turn on if the room temp falls below 5 degrees.
Well, it certainly does what it is supposed to do and does it really well. Heats up the bathroom in minutes and does an excellent job maintaining the set temperature easily. Looks beautiful too. Like many have mentioned before, tricky to set up, I did have to watch a YouTube video, but once done can be left as there’s a memory function for each day of the week. Thing to note, loss of power doesn’t reset the saved weekly presents, but does reset the clock.
Talking of the front panel, they do look really stylish when you get them out of the box. They are a sleek, piano black finish and are something nice and different as compared to other things you could buy to heat the room.
Finally, when I was registering for my warranty, I found their customer service people to be amazingly helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I can’t really comment on their durability, use, or other things as I won’t be the primary user of them, but so far, I am more than happy with the decision and the purchase.
really nice design & easy to control, thinking of buying a second one
We already have one of these heaters, which worked very well during the very cold winter of 2017/2018.
It warms our very high ceilinged living room quickly , is very economic to run, particularly with the inbuilt thermostat that includes an automatic shut off. It also looks very stylish too, freestanding and/or wall mounted. It was a no brainer to buy another to compliment our newly refurbished master bedroom.
Highly recommended.
Fantastic, look stylish and modern client delighted
Will be buying again for other clients that’s for sure
Really pleased with the heater, it looks great and gives off a very good amount of heater, though as its hot weather this was only for test purposes. The Programs are easy to use and the child lock is a great idea. Just waiting to be installed in a new warm room/conservatory.
The fire came nicely packaged wit a small polystyrene block protecting the wall mount. I decided to make use of the supplied feet rather than wall mounting as I may want to move it to another room in the future.
There was a small white sticker on the top right of the front panel that seemed to have been stuck on with super glue as it was very difficult to remove without scratching the glass.
The firmware in the device is rather odd to put it mildly. For instance, if you set it to say 20degC then it gives out heat until this temperature is reached, but rather than maintaining this temperature, it switches to ‘ECO’ mode requiring a 5deg drop in temperature before switching on again! Why?
Also, any programming is lost if the fire is either switched off or unplugged.
The one good thing however is the ‘child lock’. If none of the controls are touched for a short time, the display backlight goes out an the controls no longer work until a particular key sequence is used.
Because of the above I am only able to give it 4 stars — almost but not quite.
Be careful when fitting that the setting screen in the top right corner is at eye level. The settings are best viewed at the same level as your face. If the unit is wall mounted this is important.

You should know that most of the glowing reviews on these pages have been paid for by Wrme. They offer a 10 voucher to anyone who gives a product review on Amazon. (They used to claim, falsely, that anything less than five stars was a negative review and wouldn’t receive a reward, but they’ve dropped that tactic.) That’s a bit sneaky — and quite unnecessary, as the heater deserves a good review in its own right, without a bribe.
I’ve given it five stars for the heater, minus one for the slightly dodgy marketing strategy.
Heats our 14m2 ‘arctic’ room (single brick wall converted garage with poor insulation and no central heating) very quickly and looks good too. Monitored the power usage over a day and would say it matches the low running cost per hour claims – providing it’s not set to maintain a too high temperature.
Frost mode is useful to ensure the room doesn’t dip to a silly temperature (especially for our room), although I would have also preferred the ability to set a temperature under 15c as well.
Heats much quicker and provides more control than the 2kw oil radiator that was originally in the room.
Fast delivery and happy with the purchase. Thanks.
I have not yet managed to notice the long-term impact cost wise other than noting that my smart meter definitely went in the red when I had the heater set at 19 degrees on a few days that I was working in the cabin. This incurred approximately around extra 2.50 costs to my usual daily fuel amounts….this would work out at the 7p per hour as someone else has suggested, which given the extreme frost and cold weather we have had, is not too bad. I think that if I was working in there and using the heater every day at this setting I may be a little more concerned about the additional expense but I only intend to use this occasionally, and living in the south we don’t usually get very cold weather….time will tell…
A lot of reviews mention the complicated settings, and whilst they certainly could be more straight forward, once you get the hang of them they’re fine. One thing that could be improved though, is the eco-mode. You set the temperature, it heats the room till it reaches that temperature, and then switches itself off – which is exactly what you’d expect. But then as the temperature starts to drop, it doesn’t switch on again till it’s 5 degrees lower than the set temperature. So the room gets pretty chilly again before it starts to heat. Not a deal breaker but it would be nice to be able to change that 5 degree temperature variance.
It is an expensive item (even at sale price), but it’s well made, looks great, and performs very well. I have no regrets about purchasing it!
Ordered another heater for a family member which came with a discounted price due to being a showroom model. However very disappointed that the product would be sent in its current state. Have requested a full refund on the 2nd heater and will see how the seller responds to this request. The following words of that of the family with respect to the complaints with the product – Missing bolt bottom right corner the front was very loose other than that I’m testing it and seems ok it used 17p in the first hour so not the 7p an hour it stated also room was already 20 degrees before test began and hasn’t risen much since 1pm I’ve set it to 35 degrees still only on 23 degrees??
This is heater is hot, not just with it’s stylish looks, but also it produces a lot of heat. Like most people we are busy with too many things right now to experiment with the settings so we have to just set it to full heat to see how it warms up our conservatory which is permanently cold. The cold has been replaced with a sauna like heat which is too hot, but we just wanted to try it out on the max and this heater has passed with flying colours. We are using the heater in the free standing position against a wall in the centre of a 240 sq ft room which has ice cold floor tiles. This room has had several different heaters over the years which are only good if you are sitting right next to them or wrapping your legs around them, but none of them have never been able to heat up the conservatory and today it has been rather cold in Birmingham with bad icy conditions, so this has been a good way to see if this heater can deliver, which it does! Now the instructions are very limited and it did appear that a small component was missing as the instructions mentioned the LOCK (part of wall mounted bracket) in the plural, so before switched on we sent an email to the seller to notify them that a part was missing. The seller responded to the email in less than 24 hours to confirm that the only LOCK is for the left side. So we are delighted with this product and I can only imagine that if it is wall mounted as displayed in the product photos then it may be even more efficient at warming up the room. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT, especially as the price comes with a huge discount!
The heat from the radiators comes out as hot air at the top of the machine. The front of the radiator does get warm, but most of the heating power seems to be from convection of warm hair rather than pure radiation. In terms of heating a room, ill break it down for my rooms:
– In my small bedroom with closed door, the radiator heats the room VERY quickly, and you have to be careful not to set the temperature too high
– In my larger bedroom, again it heats very quickly.
– In my hallway which is more open plan with the radiator towards one end, it takes a bit longer for the heat to move around
– In my living room, which is the largest space and an open plan kitchen included, it takes a while to heat the entire room. The area immediately around the heater heats up quickly, but to get the whole room hot takes a while. This does mean it uses more energy, as it does thermostat turn off until much later. But I feel many radiators would have this problem.
As others have said, the biggest drawback on this radiator is the control panel, which I found to be confusing. There is a nice guide available on the company website which helped but even then the instructions are poor about the settings. It takes a few watches and trial and error to fully understand it. Ill try to summarise what i’ve learnt about the controls below.
In all, I’m pleased with the radiators. For the price its a very stylish radiator which heats the rooms well if given time for larger rooms. My electricity bills are not ridiculous but obviously get more expensive as you get deeper to winter and use more. My 2 bed flat electricity bill was approximately 50pm with the radiators on for an hour in the morning and couple of hours in evening.

In terms of controls, some main points:
– Programmed heat is very complicated, which makes changing it (as the weather changes for example, or changes in working pattens / holidays) very annoying but do-able.
– Programmed heat (clock) makes the radiator heat to 2 degrees above the set temp, then turn off
– Instant heat (fire) makes the radiator heat to the set temp, then turn off until 5 deg below, when it will turn back on.
1. The child lock is automatic. To turn off, click OK, then click DOWN ARROW
2. There are 2 major settings – instant heat (FIRE SYMBOL) and programmed heat (CLOCK)
3. Each of these settings has 3 heat ‘modes’ represented by symbols – a SUN, a MOON, a SNOWFLAKE – these are what confused me
You use the TIME button to set day (1-7) and time. You use the PROG button to change program. TEMP allows you set the thermostat. POWER turns on and off.
For example, if off, to turn on you take lock off by OK, DOWN, then click the POWER
When on, you click PROG and you can then use the arrows to move between programmed heat or instant heat.
Click OK on either to pick that mode
On instant heat, there are the 2 modes. The FIRE one is the main mode. On FIRE the radiator will heat the room until the thermostat reaches your set temp (done with TEMP). Once it reaches this temperature, it will TURN OFF until it goes 5 deg BELOW the set, and then it will turn back on to reach set temp again.
If you have selected instant heat and then click arrows, you move from FIRE to ICE. ICE is off. The MOON symbol means ‘idle’ – ie when turns off between the 5 deg of set temp
On Programmed heat, once you click okay to select the CLOCK symbol, you can use the arrows the move between the 7 days (1-7). When you have selected the right day (its flashing), you click PROG to program for that day. You then start at midnight-00:30am on the clock.
– There are 3 modes again – SUN (heat on), MOON (heat on to 5 deg below the set temp), ICE (off)
– By default it starts on SUN at midnight. You can click OK to enter the mode select. Use ARROW to move to ICE or MOON as required (id have off at midnight for example)
– Once selected mode for that 30min window, click OK to leave the mode select. Then ARROW forward will set that same mode for the next 30 minute windows.
– When you reach a time you want heat, click OK again to enter mode select, and ARROW to move to FIRE symbol. Click OK to leave, then ARROW to continue. You can move back to off by OK, ARROW to ICE.
– Do this for each day.
As you can see its complicated, but you do get used to it and I can set the weeks program in a couple of minutes now with practise.
as a wall heated, but is supplied with feet. and I use it as a stand alone heater. It is better at heating the bathroom than
the gas fired central heating. The only problem I found is that one has to remember to turn off the child lock before
getting it to work.. All in all I am a satisfied customer.
With the timer programme we can set this so that it kicks in when she needs it.
Reccommended.
But I didn’t buy it for its looks – I was more persuaded by the efficiency claimed, the 7p running cost. I’d expect the actual running cost would be dependent on circumstances – if, for example, it was used in a hallway with frequent traffic through an external door letting cold air in, then obviously it’d consume more power in having to restore room temp to whatever it had been set to maintain. Not ideal.
But I bought this heater for my bedroom, which I’m confined to 24/7 through disability, and the door remains closed except when visitors call occasionally. I felt this would be an ideal environment for the Wrme heater as it has the fine-tuned thermostatic control to maintain an accurate temp without excess, together with the option to set different temperatures for different time periods, and also sufficient power to restore room temp quickly if a door or window is opened that cools the room.
To date I’ve not been able to test it – the weather has just been too warm!
This will replace an oil filled electric radiator I’ve used for a few years, which lacks the precise temp control, so room temp fluctuates quite a bit and stays the same 24/7 unless manually adjusted (which is hit and miss) and if I open a window occasionally to let in some fresh air it can take ages to restore the ambient temp. The Wrme offers considerably better control, more efficiency and performance than my oil rad gave me.
So I’m looking forward to my Wrme heater serving me far better – and reducing my bill for electricity!
Once I start using it, come the autumn, I’ll update this and give an idea of actual performance and running costs – but I have great expectations! 5 stars rated!
I can easily recommend the product and customer service, as both are excellent.
Would recommend.
I looked at many more units like this one and was always a bit nervous as its y most expensive Amazon purchase. The radiator was a replacement for an old “industrial” looking one I had had in the house for over ten years and needed to replace only because of it appearance and my lovely wives insistence.
So- it came , I took it out of the box and plugged it in.
After getting my lovely wife’s help to work out the programming options I let it stand for a few hours on its supplied feet. I didn’t want to put it straight on the wall because Im lazy , it was a Saturday and the football was on….
Well its been a month and its now on the wall. It hasn’t stopped working, blown up or electrocuted either of the cats, the dog the three kids or myself so I know it works. I had to move a painting because the heat was pretty intense. It heats quickly and cheaply and is pretty well made. I would probably recommend this thing. In fact I will .
There you go.
It’s worth the money.
I can’t say anything better than tha
