Highly, highly recommend. I have large windows and a couple of bright light sources right above the projector, during the day while I admit the lighter shaded colours get washed out a little, it’s very, very watchable, I would be surprised if anyone had any complaints about the brightness. Speakers are loud and have great virtual surround sound, I haven’t once gone close to max volume. In lower light from early-mid afternoon, the colours are awesome, picture quality great, and game mode has 0 lag. The free dongle that comes with purchase has the normal Netflix app, which automatically boots on launch so if you have issues with the normal home not having Netflix that’s a fix. Couldn’t recommend this projector more highly, buy it.
I bought my aura in November last year on the release I must say it has the same specs as the 3000+ models I use the aura with a vividstorm UST screen and there is know comparison with the clear crisp 4K images.
But this few weeks ago was very surprised and how easy it was to set up
I can confirm that this projector creates as crisp 4K image at 150 inches, exactly as promised, even with the projector just inches from the screen.
I’ve also been impressed at how visible the image is with modest ambient light in my basement.
This is an incredible value for the price.
I use this product for home entertainment and is the best.
Positiv: Einrichtung ging schnell, Autofocus geht ganz gut. Bild ist gut, aber Prinzip bedingt auf einer Raufaserwand nicht optimal.
FB geht gut, knnte aber beleuchtet sein bei dem Preis.
Ton vom Beamer ist ganz ok, aber ich hre den Ton ber SPDIF und meinem 5.1 System.
So weit so gut.
Bei Prime Video ist mir aufgefallen das der Ton sehr schlecht ist. ber einen FireTV Stick alles super, aber ber die App auf dem Beamer unterirdisch. Liegt aber an der App. Disney+ Ton ist ok.
Nun zum fr mich grten Manko: Der Beamer wird als 3D Beamer beworben, jedoch kann er nur Side by side 3D. Mein Blu-ray Player liefert aber Full HD 3D. Das gleiche mit meinen Full HD 3D MKV Filmen. Der native Player des Beamers ignoriert das zweite Vollbild. Auch wenn mein Kodi auf dem Pi3 full 3D liefert, kann der Beamer das nicht wiedergeben!
Update: Habe mit dem Support gesprochen. Der Beamer soll Full 3D untersttzen. Wenn das 2 Bilder angezeigt werden ist alles korrekt. Ich sehe es trotzdem als Manko das der Beamer den 3D Mode nicht selber erkennt. Mein alter Beamer macht das. Der Support ist auf jeden Fall schnell und gut.

Pros:
[convenient] As I’m moving out and live on
my own the first time as my job requires me to jump to different city every few
months, I decided to leave my 65″ TV to my parents. Someone like me who moves
frequently, probably a laser TV is a better choice anyway.

good quality image] First I think Aura is quite stylish
and the image quality is good. I project it on a 100″ wall for now (definitely
should get me one of those foldable screen when things are settled) and the image
is giving a WOW becos of it’s 2400 ANSI Lumen?
[easy to set up]Loving the ease of use as
it’s a plug-and-play, probably 10 mins to setup the whole thing the first time?
All I did was place it on my table, turned it on, and it automatically adjust till
the display was OK.
Cons
[No native Netflix] Hope Xgimi team can fix
this problem in the near future. However, there are quite some workarounds available
online that I didn’t spend much time to find.
Love picture quality, only complaint is the audio, we have a open floor plan so the audio seams weak when volume is turned up. Will need a sound bar to complement the awesome video.
From the time you open the four layers of boxing and foam padding, read the excellent owners manual, setup the sleek remote, place the projector, and turn it on … it is truly a journey in Quality with no stone left unturned. Simply flawless!
I set up the XGIMI Aura 4K UHD Ultra Short Throw Laser Projector, distanced it for a 120″ screen size, and then brought it live on my light gray wall – that’s right, my elunevision UST ALR 120″ screen is still in the box. I simply had to catch my breath after seeing the beautiful picture quality being projected on a wall. I can’t wait to get the screen installed and fire up our new Marantz based 7.2.4 sound system.

finally my TV got upgraded
Have an Elfin and basically nothing to
complain about it so when I need to replace my TV in my living room, I thought
I’d give Aura a try with a fair price of $2500.
Most of our time spend in the living room
is watching movies and this thing is made for it. When I received Aura, my PS5 of
course must be the first to test it, and the image quality and respond rate are
all good.
The easy setup is also an advantage then we
can also move the projector around and it’s not much effort to tune it up. Auto-focusing
and keystone is quick and accurate.
The only downside is not having native Netflix but it’s an easy fix as I just
get myself a firestick, problem solved
more than a projector
Have been looking for a laser tv to replace
my traditional one and am pleased with the performance of Aura with this price
and definitely the top in this price range. Got into this product as come
across their slogan, your next tv is not a tv, funny though.
The image is true 4K and the brightness is
also satisfactory. Though sunlight shines into the room, the picture quality is
still clear enough.
Besides, the sound quality is indeed a Harman
Kardon. The built-in speaker performs very well, power enough without losing the sound quality.
What a beautiful designed projector easy to set up took less than 5 minutes to setup with all your current playstore apps including games done in a flash once you have set up your Google account. The picture quality is as good as your highest large screen tv plenty of inputs at the back of the unit so you can wire in your games consoles and bluray players sky boxes ,free view,freesat all in glorious 4k my only criticism is it is quite a big protector and quiet heavy , but other than that great value for the money arrived well packaged and un damaged .
When I first got the projector I was just watching in a living room with no treatment and bright open windows. I was projecting onto an off white wall and the image was still pretty decent. After blacking out a window and getting a CLR 4 screen the image is amazing during the day. Obviously it really comes alive when the sun is down, but daytime viewing is a good experience and I have no regrets.
I’ll admit that I have not used the built in Android TV that much. I focused on it for the first few days just to put it through its paces. It’s quick and everything streams well. It’s not Nvidia Sheild TV Pro good, but for a built in operating system, it’s good. I have using said Sheild, a Panasonic ub800 4K disc player, PC and a HDHomerun quad tuner as input devices and everything has looked great. Going back to the colors and clarity, I’m impressed. I have a Sony 75″ 900H that this replaced and I’m actually happier with the image. Maybe it’s the size difference. I am projecting this onto a 123″ screen.
I absolutely love this thing and am very glad that I went with the Aura.
I was looking for a high quality 4K projector, able to throw at least a 120″ image on a screen from a very short distance away. This unit does it very well. And, having a harman/kardon four speaker system built in at this price just ups the overall value and my satisfaction.
