Easy to use.
Absolutely brilliant. Very easy to operate and set up within seconds. Very very loud alarm which is what’s needed to deter burglars. Looks great think I will be back to get this for garage aswell now.

Yes it works fine and it’s really loud if your anywhere near it when it go’s off good cheap alarm. Reading the other reviews about the small screw on the bottom that holds the cover on. TIP PUT THE SCREW ON THE COVER FIRST ( before you attach to wall )THEN SLIP THE UNIT OVER THE SCREW ON THE WALL. Hope this helps you all .

Extremely loud, can hear from shed 20m from my house. Easy to fit and program, would highly recommend buying, bought to replace my old shed remote controlled alarm. Yale has much better build quality, A1
It is very sensitive. Triggered by the tiniest of motions. It works really well and the siren? is very loud. Only trouble is rushing to switch it off, although it does it itself after a few minutes
Not quite sure how you rate a shed alarm for ‘warmth’ or ‘sheerness’ so no stars for those ‘features’, but overall pleased with the alarm. Can’t personally say how easy it was to install as my husband did it but based on the absence of swearing, I would say it was pretty straightforward. Think it gives my husband added peace of mind regarding the security of his beloved bikes!

Good quality product and a decent loud alarm – certainly loud enough in the confines of a garage!
The only problem is that when it detects you it “chirps” – this alerts the intruder to the fact they have 10 seconds to disarm which can be done simply by ripping it off the wall, which snaps the plastic backing and spills the batteries.
If it didn’t “chirp” then the intruder might not see it until the alarm sounded.
If it had a screw hole all the way through it would not be so easy to snap the backing (which is what you screw to the wall).
It therefore requires a metal frame or box installing around it which increases the price somewhat.

Not sure what people expect for 15. It was never going to come in a tamper proof carbon steel box with whistles and bells. It’s a 15 alarm. It’s plastic. But it works: it’s loud and it wakes me up. I’ve put two in my garage for each door. Easy!
Easy to use, easy to install. Really loud siren but I do wish there was an audible countdown to armed/activated rather than just a single beep.
I had a Yale apartment alarm for the garage, but this proved unreliable. So got another one. After that failed as well, I got this instead, and it’s great for piece of mind

Very simple alarm but effective. Loud enough to scare the living day lights out of you if your not expecting it. Our garage is down the end of the garden and you can hear it from inside the house.

The loud alarm takes you by surprise when you forget to turn off. Easy to use good product for garage!
Its pretty loud. But with the additional siren (available separately) its deafening – really weapons grade. Even AC DC don’t crank it up like this.
If you live near a grave yard and this goes off, you may have some unwanted company pretty quick.
Only issue is that siren cable is long enough to stretch from here to Jupiter, so, as I have no plans to actually travel the solar system I had to shorten it.
The siren connects via a jack cable and exits at the bottom of the unit. It fits and works fine, even though not listed as working with this model, allowing you to close the case in the normal way IF YOU MAKE THE CABLE EXIT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE CASE.

Bought this for my garage for extra peace of mind. Insert the batteries, hang it on the wall and you’re sorted. Surprisingly loud. Perfect for anyone wanting an alert when someone enters their garage or shed. Yes seomone could take it off the wall and stomp on it, but hopefully you would hear it first.

Oh i like this. Oozes quality, loud alarm with jack socket to add an external alarm if you wanted to, Easy to mount and use.Detects me soon as i enter my shed and gives a warning beep …. Negatives – it could use a small flashing light to let u know its armed, but that hardly matters.
Heres hoping the batteries last a long time but at least theres a low battery warning light.
Loud, easy to setup if you read the instructions properly (which I didn’t at first). Good idea to buy the extension unit which can be hidden from main one. Then if burglars destroy main unit the backup will still sound. Beware of tiny cover screw – easily lost.
This alarm is easy to set up and makes a loud noise when activated. Would not use it to protect very expensive belongings in my shed, but would probably act as a deterrent if someone was to open the shed door and the alarm goes off
My only issue is that once Armed, if the Sensor picks up movement, there is a pre-beep to indicate the alarm has been triggered which would give potential intruders a warning there is an alarm about to be activated. But on the other hand it could be a reminder for you to disarm the alarm!
As they are new I cannot advise on how long the batteries will last or how the weather affects the operation (cold) as there are no references on the instruction manual about battery duration.
You could consider hard wiring with use of power adaptors for peace of mind however I don’t know if by simply unplugging the power supply you would simply stop the alarm working or whether batteries and power Unit could be used together with batteries being a backup power supply.
There is a 2 Year Warranty on this product according to the manual.
Described as loud is a bit of an understatement! Made the mistake of taking off my ear defenders when I gave the device a test run…hope the tinnitis will resolve sometime soon. I then went the for the Yale extension siren as well…LOUD!!!!! The system works really well and would definitely recommend it.
The alarm is easy to program and has a very loud alarm noise when it goes off. You have to put in the 4 digit code to stop the alarm, take care with your ears. Overall seems to be a good product to buy.

What can i say it’s loud good, easy to put batteries in good, and has already got rid two attempts to steal pots from our garden.
well packaged , quick delivery and at a reasonable cost. Easy to set up , batteries,and very quick to alarm or disarm .Just one point and that is that there are two kinds of alarm both identical but ONE allows to link up with an external loud siron ( wired ) and the other which is cheaper does not have this facility. None are wireless.

Fantastic little alarm, I’ve installed it in my caravan facing the door. I’ve got loads of security on it already but just wanted this as an inside alarm, easy to use and can be free standing or fitted. I will buy another one of these ince my new shed goes up, very loud and a goor deterrent.

Pleased with this easy to fit and use alarm,put in garage and working well,but do not know how long the alarm goes for if set off and if it resets itself,other than that i am pleased with it.

Good product very loud , be warned you cannot change pin alarm . Also takes 10 seconds to go off and my garage door takes 10 seconds to open but cant be helped
Bought it to alarm my garage. Easy to set up and install, only thing I will say (as mentioned in other reviews) is the screw for the battery compartment is very small and fiddly. very easy to drop and lose! Alarm is loud.

There’s little in the way of acknowledging tones and it looks like it resets when you change the batteries so that might be a pain.
But at the moment it’s a good little garage alarm and the sounder is very loud

A recent break-in to our caravan on the front of the house led to us buying 3 of these devices-1 for the caravan and 2 more for the sheds at the side of the house. The noise they emit is sufficient to alert anybody nearby and I would suggest the culprit will depart fairly rapidly.
It’s very easy to instal and easier still to operate. Press “4” to arm and your own 4 digit code to disarm.
The alarm wouldn’t wake the dead but is probably loud enough to deter casual intruders and perhaps to alert neighbours.
The only problem could be that I would imagine that a meaty hit with a hammer would silence it quickly. I can’t see anyway round that.

all that being said and less about my clumsiness its a decent unit easy to set and operate …a whacking great 100 dB siren nearly makes your ears bleed lol ..anyway I wanted to give it 5 stars but the fiddly screw design annoyed me so I only gave it 4

Loud enough to signal an intruder when in the house.
Like any alarm, goes off and hopefully enough to make the intruder leave. If they are very determined they can smash but by then the alarm would have sounded and it’s done it’s job!

Good price and good little item, when buying you may want to buy a pack of 4 AA batteries as it doesn’t come with any it does say this but i forgot!
