I bought these with camping in mind as I was fed up with matches blowing out in the wind. I have not been camping yet this year, however I have used it to light the log burner in the house, and also the fire pit in the garden. Absolutely fantastic, so powerful you only need to turn on the gas for a second to light the paper. I should imagine the gas that I put in will last a while at this rate. Can’t wait to go camping and use it on the gas stove. Definitely a good buy.

You get a perfect jet of flame every time without fail – my only regret is not finding it earlier and having to use one of those hideous old-fashioned lighters. I bought this to fuse the ends of ropes when splicing and making items for boat rigging. It is simple and quick to use and burns hot enough to very quickly seal synthetic rope.
I’ve purchased other 6in gas lighters in the past and they did the job but this is certainly a more recent release so it certainly has improvements over what I used in the past. I highly recommend this lighter to anyone thats considering this item you won’t be disappointed!

The torch is well made and looks like it is built to last. Filling with butane gas is easy and the contents indicator is useful. Switching the flame on is easy and with automatic cut-off, there is no danger of putting down a lighted flame.

I have previously used arc lighters but these are so inconsistent, especially when using to light candles. This lighter however is so much better – long flame that is adjustable, easily switched on and off and no fuss! Great customer service too when rectifying a small issue.
I have been buying a few cheap lighters for candles and the bbq. These either broke or needed filling with gas at short intervals. This is perfect. I use it on a daily basis easy to fill and it’s still going strong on one fill. Recommended

Great little jet torch lighter. As an electrician I use it on heat shrink when there’s no power to use my electric heat gun. Seems fairly solid construction so will see how it holds up in my tool bag. Works much better than other products I’ve bought in the past for much more money supposedly designed specifically for heat shrinking.

Overall, very happy with it. Had it a couple of months, and seems pretty reliable. Loses a star, because when you take your finger off the switch, the flame seems to continue for a couple of seconds afterwards. Not an enormous problem, but I would quite like it to turn off once I take my hand off the switch. Overall, very happy with my purchase.
