Bought to keep an eye on my dogs, set up easy, picture quality in either day or night mode great, I got an sd card but use it mostly in live mode rather than record. Thinking about buying others for other rooms
Great little camera,bought this for my daughter first thing it picked up was her car poking its head around for a nosy and to sit in the window.
Night vision is good and so is picture clarity.
This eases any anxiety my daughter has with alerts to her phone,overall a great price and piece of kit.
We have 4 places around our property. 3 on the perimeter and 1 we use as a pet cam inside. So simple and easy to set up. The app is so easy to use to adjust the setting to get want you need.
Cables are a bit short, be careful if you try to get extra long ones as the cameras are quite powerful and not all extensions will work.
I bought this to watch over our newborn puppies. I could relax a little knowing I only had to look at the camera. It’s brilliant and easy to navigate and set up. Night vision is fabulous too. I recommend this camera. I only wish I’d bought the YI temperature and humidity sensor too instead of the one I bought.
I have this on my lounge window sill and so surprised at the wide angle, even the tiny area’s being picked up at night. Great at motion detection, which is perfect for me, as soon as I put this operational, it has done what I expected,more than worth the money and well recommended!
Great little camera. Popped it off the stand and because of its small size due to it being mains powered, I was able to fit into the top of a Blue Tit box. Little bit close for perfect focusing, but at this price it’s a good cheap workaround.
I like that I can see what’s going on on the house. It’s clear and very easy to use. It allows me to have peace of mind. It allows me to see exactly how my elderly father functions during the day and night. It gives total peace of mind and allows me to speak to my father whilst I am at work. Fantastic
I have ordered another one for a different room. I bought this so I could keep an eye on my cat when I am not around and see that he is ok. I have one in the bedroom at the moment so bought another one for the living room. Picture quality is great and really easy to set up.

You download the app and then just click on to watch. Option to talk to pet but havnt used this for pet but occasionally use it to talk to the kids when they don’t know I’m checking the camera! Ha ha.
The picture quality is excellent in the light but you need a light on in evening to see clearly.
Would definitely recommend. We are looking at getting a second one.
I bought four Yi cameras back in May 2021. Three worked perfectly but after six months one camera stopped functioning. I requested a replacement camera as part of their two year warranty. This was done with remarkable efficiency. This is the kind of professionalism that gives you confidence to buy again from this company.

I am giving this camera 5 starts, although I am going by 2 neighbours having these.
The picture quality, motion and night vision are fantastic, considering the low price of them.
I ordered this for an elderly relative but she was offered a place in residential care so obviously it wasn’t needed.
I returned the camera with an explanation, there was no problem with a refund.
Can’t go wrong with these. I’ve had 3 at a holiday home abroad for 3 years & they’ve never failed. I use the SD card and not four storage. At the time of writing (Sept 21) there are complaints about the removal of historic SD card activity, landscape viewing and lack of time stamping on live view. Having checked my the recently updated app these are all resolved and working well. These are the best bang for buck cameras on the market in my opinion and I have tried a few brands.
The whole range of Yi cameras are superb! I have bought seven and they are dotted around the house. I even have one pointed at the Hedgehog House and another at the Hogs feeding station. I even have Hedgehog Films from the Yi cameras on YouTube! Being able to record any length of footage onto the separately purchased SD card is brilliant!
The price is amazingly good value!
But, but, oh dear!
They updated the app to force you now to take out a cloud subscription, it’s almost like, in my opinion, blackmail!
These people are in my opinion, disrespectful of their existing customers, they are in my opinion dishonourable, so I would respectfully suggest you do not buy any of there products.

Impressed with what it does for 21.99 and was going to buy another until I saw that the price had gone up to 24.99. Not worth the extra 3.
Like the price for the item and also helps to monitor toddler sleep. Good quality but not a great quality. Zoom in and zoom out, too much zoom in makes picture blur but never mind as it’s covers my toddler sleep monitor.
Pros: small so isn’t taking up too much space on the windowsill. I can choose how often I want notifications or set a time period where I get notifications. You can set the area where it picks up movement. App is easy to use. Good camera for the price.
Cons: you only get a 6 second clip of the movement unless you subscribe to a package which is about 4.50+ a month.
The night vision mode isn’t very good but I’ve put a security light outside to help that.
Pros: small so isn’t taking up too much space on the windowsill. I can choose how often I want notifications or set a time period where I get notifications. You can set the area where it picks up movement. App is easy to use. Good camera for the price.
