It wasn’t easy to put together because I didn’t look at the direction carefully. The direction could be a bit more clearer. The lid isn’t sturdy for one grown up to sit. It looks great, waterproof, and fits all my patio cushions.
Nice quality outdoor storage bin for the price. I sat on it (170 lbs) and it seems sturdy enough for my weight. I also really like the fact that it has a hydraulic for the lid vs straps that come on other bins. Would recommend
I just finished putting the box together and noted a few things that could be clearer in the description. 1) The item description says waterproof but when you read deeper it says water-resistent. Two different things. Since I can see daylight though the toggles on the bottom, water can easily get in so ‘waterproof’ is doubtful. 2) I don’t see how the lid acting as a seat, can hold 440 lbs, as stated in the ‘extra seating’ description. I wiegh 49 kg and there was sufficient give when I sat on it. It a says capacity 440 lbs, which presumably doesn’t mean as a seat. js
Other than that, it was pretty easy to assemble (directions are overly simplictic) and should fit my needs.

I researched dozens of storage boxes to find what I needed. Interior dimensions were critical to confirm it would meet my requirements, and I was very happy to see this seller clearly published interior dimensions (unlike so many others). The chest was very easy to assemble. It simply snapped together with no tools required, other than the hinge assembly. Contrary to seller’s statement that two or more people were required for assembly, I assembled it myself with ease. Total assembly required about 20 minutes. As for whether it is weather / water proof, the lid overlaps a flange on the lower box. Unless you have a sideways driving rain, I would say water incursion is very unlikely.
My 180lb husband and two boys sat on it and it was fine. the cushion on it is comfortable but the best part is the 4 and six-year-old were so proud of getting their very own outside box they cleaned up every single toy they had out in no time flat and put them in their box. when they played today they did not even have to be told to pick up their toys they immediately wanted to put them away in their new box!!! I am over the moon happy with it and it is very attractive and fits with my outdoor furniture color scheme perfectly. Who knew a simple box could make a yard look less like a toy junk yard and more like a clean family area? I love it.

These deck boxes were easy to assemble if you take your time and read illustrations and THINK before you snap together. Took me all of 90 mins to assemble two boxes. Do not understand why instructions say to have 2 or MORE people assemble it….I’m 77 yrs. old and assembled them alone without mishap or strain.
May not be as durable as Suncast but the product value is there and time will tell

Le coffre est esthtique et semble robuste. J’avais des craintes au regard des commentaires parlant de la difficult de montage. Pour le mien, cela a t mont en 20 minutes, deux, et avec un maillet disposition (comme prconis dans la notice). En suivant prcisment le lettrage de chaque face, et en tapant doucement avec le maillet au niveau des trous, tout s’emboite! Attention tout de mme en refermant le coffre. Il faut bien appuyer sur chaque rebord en mme temps (car les verrins sont plutt costauds). la longue, il y aura forcment un risque que le toit “gondole” ou se dforme en poussant un bord puis l’autre. Niveau tanchit, cela parat OK. Du moins, tout se ferme sans aucun cart et la pluie ne passe pas ce jour. Le produit correspond intgralement mes attentes.

I found the assembly quite easy. Absolute downpour the first night, small leak puddled in a corner. We are certain to make lid good and closed now, no repeat yet. Nice box.
Ideal size for my purposes. Easy to assemble and looks very neat.
It has stood upto thunder storms but not tested in prolonged rain.

We have a large deck with furniture, and of course they all have cushions or pillows.
So I had been looking for a deck box so I could just throw them in when weather predictions of rain.

Not flimsy, and doesn’t look too bulky. But don’t forget the measurements are external, not internal!
I don’t usually leave reviews (for anything), but felt this deserved a word or two from me…
Firstly, and to correct / contradict a couple of the other reviews, it took me about 20 mins to assemble, using just 1 screwdriver, and whilst it is a good, tight ‘interference fit’ (so called because it ‘snaps’ together without mechanical fixings), it really doesn’t take much doing, and certainly doesn’t require brute force or a mallet! – As long as the tabs are properly aligned to the corresponding cut-outs, it takes either a firm push, or a simple slap/light thump with your hand. – The most awkward (and that’s exaggerating it) panel is the lid, and laying it down, as the manual and other reviewers have said, is actually the MOST difficult way… Instead, simply orientate the box in it’s natural (bottom down) position, and, with the lid OPEN, align the hinge tabs to the holes, and with your knee against the lid AT the hinge position, simply tap the inside of the box against your knee, – it doesn’t Kneed (spot of silly humour there) to be hard, and voila! job done.
Secondly, it has been mentioned that the box is a little ‘flimsy’ and whilst this SEEMS to be the case as delivered and unassembled, once put together it is an incredibly sturdy unit. I weigh 14 stone / 90kgs in new money, and (only for testing purposes) can stand on it, although I DON’T suggest anyone else does (don’t try and sue me, I said don’t)
Finally, I can’t attest to its waterproof-ness, which is why I left off a star, as it’s currently 28C and sunny, but looking at the design and construction material, think it will be absolutely fine.
To conclude, I am VERY happy with this purchase, and the price I paid for it. Yes, there are both cheaper and vastly more expensive options out there, but this does exactly what it should, looks great and, as a bonus comes with a cushion, giving you an extra couple of seats for people to perch on, when all the chairs are used.

This is a large garden storage box, it can hold a lot of things. I need to use it to organize some sundries. It’s made of 6 resin plastic sheets. Although they look very simple, it’s not easy to combine them. It’s best to let men install them, because they need strong force to press them.
I like its woven structure design, with convenient handcuffs square buckles on both sides for the user to move, there is a locking buckle in the middle that you can also lock the locker if you need it. It also has a sponge cushion that i especially like, so that I can sit on it and bask in the sun.
In a word, this storage box is very strong and durable, waterproof and sunscreen, flexible and odor free. Although it’s a bit pricey and not easy to install, considering its quality and practicality I am willing to give 5 stars.
Like the other reviewers, this took longer than expected (about 3 hours for two of us but there quite a few tea breaks). The main issue was connecting the lid. As mentioned before, lay the lid on the ground and you really have to stamp hard on the connectors to make them click into place. Be brave, it’s sturdier than you think. The end result is great, a nice looking neutral faux wicker box with loads of room for outdoor cushions. Recommended if you are patient.
I had collected a bunch of miscellaneous items on my deck that just made it look cluttered. Now that I have my Deck Box, I have organized all of it inside the box and my deck now is organized and tidy. It’s nice that it also acts as a seat. The only item that I’ve noted could be better is the locking mechanism. The hole for a lock is small and in a tight area so only a small lock could be used to actually lock it up. I don’t put any thing critical in the box so I’m not worried about locking it up but if security is important, think about this before buying.
This box is lovely, blends in within our garden. It is totally waterproof and creepy crawlers can not get inside. Made of good quality products and highly addictive.
I managed to assemble this thing myself in around 30 minutes, but it does take a fair bit of strength so do bare that in mind. Assembly needs a mixture of precision and brute strength, as the pieces need to be in exact orientations as per the pictures in the manual. There was a LOT more strength needed than I would have thought would be necessary – The lid had me worried that I was going to break it because I needed to whack it into place with my hands at full force.
Once fully built, this thing is deceptively sturdy! It’s really light which makes it easy to transport, but it has some serious strength to it that you wouldn’t really expect. At first I was worried that it wouldn’t be able to take the weight of 1 person let alone 3, but after sitting on it with 3 people, it didn’t even bend or flex! It really is super sturdy and I’m very impressed!
The cushion on top is pretty comfy, but there’s no velcro or fastening mechanism to keep it in place. This means that strong winds can definitely send it flying. I’d keep the cushion somewhere safe and only take it out when you’re actually planning on sitting on the box – This also keeps it from being damaged by adverse weather.
Overall, I think this is a brilliant garden storage box for the price and I’d highly recommend it!
This storage box is really helpful to tidy our belongings. Has a nice size, with lot of internal space to store many things. It’s so easy to assembly, with some clicks and few screws, we can assembly and use that. It’s have a side handle being easy to carry and also has a pneumatic to hold the lid ope
This storage box arrived dismantled. The instructions were easy to read, but I found it very hard to put together, I needed two of us and someone strong to push the connections together, especially when attaching the lid we had to use a mallet in the end, but once it clicked in to place all was good. It is a nice size and comes with a cushion to place on top to sit on which is handy to. It doesn’t come with a lock but looks like you can fit a lock by where you lift the lid.
I definitely recommend this as long as you have someone strong to help click the connections into place.
My small wooden shed was falling apart and I wanted a better and easier on the eyes storage container instead.
I want a cleaner and tidy look in the corner of my garden and will be getting rid of the shed.
The container kit contains 6 plastic panels and after reading the easy to follow instructions, I set about laying the pieces on the floor. I just need a cross-head screwdriver or rachet to install the easy to fit hydraulic hinges. The panel wedges line up with the gaps and a firm hit makes them connect.
The lid piece requires more care to connect to the box. I found it easier to lay the lid on the ground and tilt the box to line up the lids plastic sloped prongs with the box tabs. You’ll know when it’s lined up and then with your foot, a firm step and it’ll snap into place. Do the same with the other two.
The hinges are easy to install as per instructions and makes it so easy and nice to open and close without much effort.
The container is large enough to store my garden equipment and other items, which helps tidy up things.
I strategically placed the box so that on a nice day, I can also sit on it and enjoy some sunshine while sat on the soft cushion piece.
The box when assembled is waterproof and I said in the video if you want to take it the extra mile by silicone sealing it. But it’s not needed.
It can seat and take up to 200kg which is easily two adults.
I like the patterns and colour of the container. The container is strong, durable and well designed and made. You can even padlock it too.
If you worry about someone carry off your container, I recommend a motion activated alarm stuck to the inside or outside for extra security as you don’t want to make it convenient for robbers to carry off your garden tools in one box.
Price wise, I felt it was a bit more expensive but judging by the quality, I would still be prepared to buy it (I’m a Vine Reviewer).
