Went up without too much hassle- had extra parts for a fairly flush fit. Looks nice. Operates easily. My labs- when excited upon our return can easily knock it off its fittings, but when they aren’t “being labs” it keeps them in the desired area.
It was super easy to install with the use of a power drill! When locked my son can’t get through. So far it holds up to him leaning and pushing on it. It’s nice to have a baby gate when you need it but have it easily tucked away when you don’t. Only downside is when we want to remove it we will be left with holes in our pretty wood beams but that’s the price we were willing to pay.
We got this gate to stop our dog from going up the stairs, I love how sleekand hidden it is. We used to have a good up gate that we would have to take out and set up every time we wanted to use it, this one is so convenient and works well.
We purchased the retractable gate as a option to improve air circulation for our master bedroom. The bedroom is located at the rear of the house. We previously kept the bedroom door closed to keep the dogs out as their nails make an awful tic tic sound on the wood flooring that would wake us up during the night. With the door closed the room would get stuffy. The gate eliminated that. The gate is easy to install. It comes with two templates for drilling the holes, one for the gate and the other for the latches. With the gate unboxed and my tools ready to go, it took me 15 minutes to install. For my application, it was perfect.
I wanted a retractable gate so my dog could enjoy the porch on nice days, because I like to open doors and windows while I clean to air out the house. So much better than the classic tension style gates. Easy to open and close with one hand seems durable so far. When it’s not in use, it’s out of the way and not an eyesore. Absolutely love it, and we’re thinking of buying another for inside.
Installation was easy. It comes with a tempate that shows exactly where the screws need to go.
I don’t know how I did not know about this gate sooner. I use this so my pets can’t get up the stairs and let me tell you, it is amazing. I replaced two baby gates with bars by using this. Incredibly easy to use, sturdy, easy installation, and holds up to 5 cats and a dog trying to get through it!
It works great. Goes well with the mesh balcony neltting too.
We purchased 2 of these gates to keep our puppy safe on the deck and porch. They are great! Easy to install (once you figure out which fixtures to use). They are so quick to latch and unlatch, look good and we’re reasonable priced. Would highly recommend!
I had to set these up myself and was worried since I’ve never done this before but it comes with an easy to read template and took about 30 min to set up both. It did have a weird smell, like new plastic, for about 2 weeks but it quickly went away. Super easy to use and our daughter has pressed up against it, tried to climb over and under and tried to open it. It didn’t even budge or look like she had messed with it.
Product is a good idea however because of the way the gate is attached only on the left side (when it’s being attached inside a doorway not in between the doorway), it makes it hard to use in different situations. It would be great if the gate was able to be switched to attach in the right side as well, so because of where we are putting it we aren’t able to use it because we need the large part that holds the retractable mesh to be attatched on the right side – all types of this gate seem to only attatch on the left unfortunately so I am sending it back
I was excited not only about the retracting function of this gate, but that it was advertised as easy to move between two locations. Now that I’ve installed it in one location, it seems impossible to move (see video). This is not explained in the instructions and I am trying to do the installation steps in reverse, plus pushing the only button, but nothing is working.
Best gate we’ve had for our dog , the fact that it has 2 sets of mounts so that you can easily put it in any one of two places is great

We have 3 large breed dogs, 2 of which are rescues. When company arrives we try and keep them in the basement. Had other gates installed but the narrow gate opening wasn’t ideal, especially on stairs. Giving this a shot. As for install, if you’re moderately DYI, it’s an easy install. Only issue I had was the spacers provided weren’t wide enough compared to my stairs casing, so I made a wood block to make up the difference at the top to keep it plumb. Operating it is straight forward and easy. Quality appears to be decent. Let’s see if it can pass the dog stress test lol
This gate is very easy to use by just un-latching it and letting it retract. There are no locks or latches to hassle with. Just pull it closed and hook the end to close it. Very easy to use and sturdy to keep your child or puppy’s safe.
The only problem I had was mounting the brackets on the door opening evenly. The carpet interfered with the mounting template on one side and I missed it by 1/4″. No by deal though, just had to remount the brackets.
La barrire a t place en haut de l’escalier depuis six mois. Elle est gniale ! Assez facile placer, trs pratique point de vue utilisation (pas de barre au sol qui fait risquer de tribucher) et esthtiquement sympa et discret. Le prix est galement plus que correct. N’hsitez pas ! Nous en avons achet une deuxime pour la partie d’escaliers qui va vers notre grenier.
Pratique pour installer sur un escalier en bois. Assez solide, voir avec le temps si la toile ne se dtend pas trop.

Easy to install and very well made, BUT we have small dogs and cats what we wanted was to provide a barrier between rooms; took them about 36 hours and were able to slide right under the screen, even when it was less than an inch from the floor! Otherwise, a great product.
Ich bin begeistert von dem Treppenschutz! Wir haben dazu noch ein normales zum einklemmen gekauft zum testen, welches besser ist. Mit Abstand ist dieses besser. Einfach zu ffnen, trotz Kind auf dem Arm und trotzdem sicher. Wir sind sehr zufrieden.
It’s perfect for separation but if you have a kid or dog that’s going to push through it then it’s really easy to break into it and not sturdy. If you need it for separation and your dog is trained to stay then it’s perfect.
Mise en haut des escaliers pour viter que mon fils ne descend. Facile installer, une fois verrouille elle resiste bien, pourtant mon loulou insiste pas des fois en poussant dessus. Seul bmol, le verrouillage que je trouve un chouille trop simple, il faut appuyer et tourner. Je pense que certains vont vute comprendre le truc ^^
An sich ein sehr gutes Produkt, einfach zu montieren, sauber ausgefhrt, leicht zu ffnen und zu schlieen und auerdem kann der Treppenschutz problemlos alternierend an zwei Durchgngen eingesetzt werden. Das groe aber: Die Tr aus Stoff verhindert den Durchgang nur fr Kleinkinder. Fr einen aktiven Hund ist das kaum ein Hindernis, auch ein Kleinkind wird irgendwann einmal rausbekommen, wie sich dieses Hindernis berwinden lsst.

Le seul petit bmol cest laccroche du bas qui est moin facile a attacher que celle du haut mais cela reste tout de mme pratique.
L’avantage par rapport a une barriere en bois cest qu une fois ouverte il n y a pas de barre au sol, ce dernier est dgag.

I really like the functionality of this product. It’s easy to operate and keeps my little one from falling down the stairs. Even my 4 year old is able to operate the gate so he can use the stairs as needed without my help. I did find the installation instructions tricky, but my husband was able to install it in about 10 minutes. He also complained about the mounting hardware being plastic, he’s worried it’s going to break easily. Only time will tell, but so far I’m happy with it and want to buy/install more.
Pour l’instant je m’en sert pour empcher le chien d’aller au salon et bientt pour protger bb de la marche pour entrer au salon. Assez discrte repli et efficace dpli. Seul bmol j’ai d le poser plus haut que la plinthe car je ne voulais pas les percer car c’est du carrelage. Il aurait fallu que l’on puisse la fixer plus haut.

Super satisfaite de cette barrire, elle s’installe super facilement, plutt esthtique. Le fait de pouvoir bloquer ” le rideau” permet de bien le tendre. Vraiment je recommande !!!!
It keeps my little ones from getting on the stairs. However, I recommend if installing with dry wall, getting your own dry wall anchors, the included hardware wasn’t very sturdy.
