Have had this for around 2 years now, hasn’t given me any problems, just a needs a little clean every now and then, would definitely recommend for a small business! Good stuff
Very easy to setup and use, prints quickly. Great for price
Brilliant buy!! Really easy to set up and really easy to use. Highly recommend
Just started using this for Royal Mail Business, it’s been great so far, everything prints in less than a second, no issues so far while using it with my mac
Prints really fast Quality is good even though the included labels are by the own admission low quality, low cost commercial labels. I’m happy with how prints come out.
Setup was pretty straightforward.
This was so much easier to set up than I thought it would be. Was all set up and printing my Hermes labels in 10 minutes. Just had to go on my Hermes account and change label size in account setting and was all sorted. Prints quickly and good quality
Genuinely impressed at this little gem, allot cheaper than other models but works with Royal Mail and other postage sizes. The quality is good enough sometimes there are specs of white but nothing that effects the label.
This is a one time set up and leave machine perfect for my eBay selling it’s worth the money just for the time I’ve saved let alone now being able to use it for cheap deals online rather than print in store prices so it’s saving me money too .. the quality of the print is perfect .. who needs a zebra? Not me .. customer support very good too which is nice when you are buying this kind of item that you depend o
This has been a godsend for our business, making postage labels for deliveries but as you can change the size on stickers you can also create labels for products, fun thank you stickers and notes/reminds on products. We’ve been having fun with it.
Tips for use – our online store is a Shopify store, you can link this to royal mail on a business account and the orders update straight to royal mail including the packing slips. You just login to the royal mail account pay postage and it downloads the postage labels as 1 long document and packing slips as a separate doc. This means you can print all your labels in one go instead of one at a time – just print the labels on Zing and the packing slips on a normal A4 printer.
It has saved masses of time so highly recommend this if you are busy rather than printing one label at a time. Hope that helps x
So glad I decided to buy one of these!
The setup was so easy and didn’t need to mess about with printing settings etc. I was really surprised with how simple it really was.
The print quality is amazing!
Would definitely recommend if you’re thinking of buying a thermal printer.
My HP printer will be taking a back seat now.
Love it. I can use it for so many things, packaging and shipping labels
Really easy to use and perfect prints results. I am really happy with my purchase. Thanks
Perfect size for Royal Mail, and Parcel2go/Hermes labels. Easy to set up and install, simple driver download from Zing website and then treat it like a normal printer by selecting it. Just make sure the labels are set at 150 as sometimes it defaults to 180 and they look a bit squashed! (that could be my computer though).
No wirelss but thats fine, i like USB as you know its actually going to work. Simple to load labels and aligning it pretty much does it itself, watch the videos on Zing website if you are unsure as they make it a lot easier and once you have got to grips with it a few times its easy.
Never had a jam, only ever had failed prints through my own stupidity, saves paper and sticky tape and most importantly time putting the labels on. Looks a bit more professional too!
Hopefully this will last a lifetime being thermal and saves so much money on inkjet cartridges, so if you are printing a decent amount of labels then this is the device for you.
Nice small label printer. Speed and quality both good enough. Good value. Only issue was no drivers included, need to source from Web under a different name!
I forgotten what life was like before this printer. It is an absolute life saver. It is easy to use and set up. The free labels that came with it has lasted a long time. It has made packing orders so much easier for me. My advice is to download the rollo drivers. 10/10 Highly recommend!
Great lable printer and worked really well for my use case. Would definitely recommend this over a Rollo for the price paid.
Way better than the NETUM I replaced with this! Better quality print, easier to set sizes and cheaper!
Brilliant! Very easy to install on my mac with Rollo drivers. First print from Click&drop and it came out absolutely perfect. The ptinter itself is small, quiet and looks very nice. It also arrived with a pavk of labels (about 100 i guess) and a label holder/dispenser. Very satisfied! Thank you
The printer itself, is well built and looks great. However I had to waste a huge amount of labels trying to get it to print the full size of the label. For some reason it would print the label really small. Once I figured out by trial and error how to increase the size (despite the correct label size being inputted), I found the printer to print over two labels. I had the printer measure the label size numerous times, but it would still do this. I couldnt get it to work until manually by trial and error I inputted an offset of a couple mm.
The printer works fast and prints labels well. The included labels are a life-saver for setup, and I didn’t even know it came with a label holder for both rolls and sheets, which was a welcome addition.
In regards to density and speed settings, these do not seem to save. Every time I want to print from it after restarting my machine, I have to go into the settings to set the density I want, as I feel the default density is just a tad too faded.
Overall good purchase, but won’t work out of the box without trial and error. Would be nice if it had wireless connectivity.
Works well. Set up on Mac big sur using drivers from rollo website, prints grea
The printer is great.
4 stars because is coming without manual, I have to waste half of the labels until I managed to ser the correct paper size.
After the printer was remaining stock during Hermes 2D code printing. After contacting Amazon support (useless) I find the speed and density settings.
So, great printer for this money, a simple instruction manual was making my review at 5 stars.
I was amazed to see that it’s doing the jod exactly like Rollo. We bought this printer for our family business and it’s very useful.
Great product use it for posting out eBay items. Print quality is spot on just what we needed.
Great first printer, still using for 3×2 address labels but have upgraded to 2x zebras for higher quality 300dpi forms
Really amazing.
This is the best rolo printer clone I have seen. And I placed an order for dymo before buying this I had to return the dymo printer and I regretted the day I bought that crap
But the zing printer is just perfect for.what I need but it is missing to use it as wireless
Print quality is fantastic. You can adjust how light or dark from the pc.
After Many months of using the zing printer for labels. I can tell you it is amazing for my windows 10. Perfect for what I need to use it and now I can’t do work with out it.
Originally I put 4 stars and I am changing it to 5 star.
You still need a cable to buy for this and still recommend that future zing need WiFi. But it’s amazing and really can’t live with out it for my bussines now days.
I really like the zing thermal printer. it was easy to setup and use. prints different sizes of label stickers clearly.
Amazing printer for the money, had to mess with the settings for eBay labels as the quality wasn’t that great, but that is down to eBay. The print quality of this printer is brilliant! Well worth getting.
I had to look for the drivers on the web site, as I could not use the included CD (no drive..). Once loaded and installed, the system had to be rebooted to recognise the new printer.
After that – it was really easy and it works just fine. The included paper gets you up and running immediately.
We sell on on Amazon Ebay and Etsy and this is just perfect.
A bit faffing about to work out what i was doing but after that, great.
It does take any size label and auto detects this size.
No software to actually make and print the labels but as i use Coreldraw
i just made the page size the same as the label size and the printer driver has a custom
setting to make it the same if the default is not there.( took a while to work this out)
but after that it’s dead easy.
This is a rebadged Rollo btw but at a much cheaper price.
It also come with a tray and around 100 6×4 labels.
The tray alone is around 20 quid so pretty good.
I looked at cheaper ones but really happy i went for this.
As the title, i wish i had bought this years ago.
Been using this for a week now for my eBay shop.
Very easy to set up with Rollo driver and website. Comes with support contact number for Zing.
As other’s have stated the print comes out faint if using Royal Mail through seller hub. Prints perfectly well through Royal Mail click n drop which is slightly more hassle for me.
Hermes and DPD labels seem to print fine through eBay as well as on their own websites.
There’s a little catch that locks the lid in place when fitting labels. This looks like the weakest part if you intended changing label sizes often it might break over time. I’m only using this for 6″ x 4″ sticky labels so no problem as I won’t have to change very often. Came supplied with a big pile of labels and replacements are cheap.
Overall very happy, took me a couple of days of thinking about this purchase but so far seems like a good choice.
Been using a few weeks now, downloading in bulk through eBay and opening in adobe acrobat is by far the easiest option. Very happy with product now.
After a years use now, no problems with printer. Royal Mail labels now print perfectly through eBay without any editing or resizing. Excellent purchase.
Does one job and does it well.
I use for 6*4 labels, absolutly no problems.
Print it’s fine looks OK, shame no manual how to use it. YouTube did job. Thanks
Works really well, cant imagine needing to buy or use anything better than this. It’s a rebranded rollo printer, so much so that I downloaded the drivers from the rollo website and used them instead as I dont have a CD drive in my laptop.
Initially the darkness of the writing or barcode on the label was a bit weak- quick tip, when you open the label to print it, open it in Adobe reader or similar and print from there, when I opened the labels before it was opening on a browser and the quality wasnt great, it’s perfect now I open it in Adobe.
After much research I decided on the Zing label printer. Whilst it was easy to install, I had some initial trouble with getting the labels to print clearly so here’s a couple of tips.. adjust the contrast up and lower the speed slightly in the printer settings and most importantly check the label is set on 4×6.. not others as this impairs the print quality. The Rollo website is very useful for info too.
This printer is exactly the same as the Rollo thermal printers, but with a small badge saying “Zing” glued on the top. The unlabelled DVD containing drivers that was packed with the printer reinforced the Del-Boy impression – it does look as though a bunch of Rollo printers have been located in a warehouse somewhere and resold.
The above notwithstanding, the printer itself has been excellent. You can download the Rollo drivers to your computer (I have a Mac Mini running 10.15) and then select the printer as an option in the normal printing menu. The printer arrived with a big stack of 4″ by 6″ labels and a tray to stand behind the printer to hold them. The tray is a little large – especially for spooled labels – but does its job.
The printer works out the size of label by pulling a series through the machine when first turned on (and pressing the button on top). This was a bit confusing at first (I’ve not had a thermal printer before) as I was trying to print an individual label. Once I understood that the printer wanted the connected labels fed into it from the supply all worked well. Sometimes it didn’t quite work out the edge, but once it had been found it remained and place and could be turned on to print a sequence of labels with no problem. However, because of this you might want to keep the printer and feed tray in the same place between prints, or you will need to re-calibrate the labels after moving it.
Every labels – for the few weeks I’ve had it – has printed without a problem, very quickly and clearly. I was looking for a 4×6 label printer and I think this is the cheapest way to get one.
This printer is perfect for the price, I use it for printing address labels for my ebay store but, be warned, do not use the labels generated by ebay, they are low resolution and leave you thinking this awesome little printer is poor! Once I linked my account to the royal mail drop and go service and printed my labels directly through there instead they have been top quality simply due to the improved quality of label generated by the site.
Set up takes less than 5 minutes, I downloaded the latest Rollo drivers rather than the disc that came with it and these worked perfectly, the machine itself is sturdy and actually feels well made. The labels print very quickly and my workflow has improved immensely since using this over aver labels and importing the images etc..
Long term reliability remains to be seen but I have no concerns from what I’ve experienced so far, this really is an excellent piece of kit and a bargain for the price!
I previously had a Dymo labels printer to print my 4×6″ postage labels but it had become a problem for Windows 10, it kept disconnecting and locking up. I bought this printer to replace it and am very pleased. Unlike the Dymo, this printer does not need special labels with markings on the back. You can use generic labels and it just senses the label start and end points. This is good becuase I have a Royal Mail franking account and can now use the FREE 4×6″ labels they supply, meaning this is way cheaper to use than the Dymo. This printer is a clone/re-badged Rollo printer and can use the latest drivers from Rollo. It needs no special software to run, you can use Word etc… You can print labels directly from the Royal Mail online postage, and also the PDF files you get when using sites like Parcel2Go or Parcel Monkey, or even from Ebay etc…
I saw that the Rollo printer had really great reviews, but couldn’t buy it here in the UK without it coming from the US with big postage. I realised that the Zing is the Rollo. This is not wireless, but that’s fine for me, comes with cables needed.
This is my third attempt at finding a useful label printer. It is excellent. The top comes off so it is unlikely to get permanently jammed. It takes all sizes of label. Quick quiet and sturdy. Brilliant.
This little Thermal Printer is one of the best items I’ve bought so far this year. Prints within a second so saves me time to do other things. This is so good that when i showed my brother he bought one too!
The time saved with printing labels, the savings on not having to buy ink, and the small amount of room that this Zing Thermal Printers takes up should be the 3 main reasons why you should get one now!
These are also 40 cheaper than elsewhere too!… That is now 4 reasons to get one from Amazon.
**updates after using for over 7 months**
Printer still going strong.
Do not use cellotape over the address label from these thermal printers. The chemical that creates the address from heat will fade and be unreadable when cellotape is in contact with the address label. You don’t want parcels having a blank label during it’s journey!
Do not use thermal printers within ebay postage label screens due to ebay using very poor resolution labels that are very faint when used with thermal printers. Use Royal Mail click and drop website instead.
Good and fast little shipping label printer. Easy set up & good print quality.
Have found it needs to be connected to computer before being turned on or the computer struggles to see it – but that might just be me!
