The panel is thick and waterproof, looks so much better than in photos. While It’s expensive, i think it’s worth the money because it saves you to buy another coat for maternity. The seller is very responsive and clear about your fittings. They have multiple solutions for every coat.
This has made such a difference in the first few months since our daughter was born – we are much happier going out with her in the sling knowing we can keep her warm and dry whatever the English weather does. High quality product and response And helpful support.

Beim ffnen hakt der Reiverschluss etwas, aber das schrnkt die Funktion nicht ein.
Ich bin froh, mich fr den Einsatz entschieden zu haben! So konnte ich meine Winterjacke wie gewohnt anziehen.
Einziges Manko: ein verstellbarer Verschluss am Hals fehlt – solange noch kein Baby oben rausschaut kann es auch mit Schal etwas ungemtlich werden.
There are two listings of the product. It would be beneficial to know what exactly it looks like as to not spend time and money buying it withought the universal clip on extra.
Perfect fit, zipper is a bit sticky to pull up sometimes but works great and so thankful to have this extension for my growing belly.
I like the product but I ordered the wrong zipper type so I couldn’t use it on my trip and had to send it back 🙁

Je pensais qu’il y avait plus de zip sur la rallonge mais il y a seulement un type de zipeur.
I ordered another one (different coat with a different zip) and it works perfectly. The zips were quite stiff to start with (hence only four stars) so I struggled to check that it was suitable, but once it had been done a few times the panel was really easy to get on or off. It folds up very small, which is very useful if I’m not sure if I’ll need it – I baby wear most of the time but sometimes will just have the sling in the bottom of the pushchair just in case.
The only real downside is that the universal zip doesn’t seem to be available on Amazon although I’ve read that there is one – the panel will only work on one of my coats. It also won’t work on a metal zip. Overall however I wish I’d found this months ago! I’ve been wearing my husbands coat to fit baby inside when we go out for a while now and now I don’t need to!
It is difficult to choose the perfect zipper to match your jacket. But mine fit perfect and did the job. Fit my winter parka perfect.
This little product is fantastic! After being bought a lovely winter coat last Christmas, I really didn’t want to splash out on a maternity coat for this winter. The zip us in is the perfect solution to keep me and baby cosy and warm. I’m fully intending to use it with a baby carrier too as we are due early February
Really impressed with the quality of the material used, seems very robust and I love that it comes in the longer length and is adjustable.
I love this product. I now have 2 for different coats. I am warm as my bump grows and will keep little one protected when in a carrier.

What a fantastic invention! Wish I’d purchased this when I was pregnant too as it would have been so much more preferable than the shapeless cape I ended up wearing! Now my baby is hear (and so is winter!) but we have no worries whatsoever because this funky extender attaches to any jacket and gives you a nice comfy snug fit for your wee one.
Also: the customer service is on point! Me being the sleep deprived sausage I am, ordered completely the wrong ones but a few emails later and all is sorted. Thank goodness! I’m sure they get that all the time but nonetheless they were polite and lovely about it and replaced them no probs. Thanks guys!!

This is a great jacket extender for carrying baby in sling on your chest. Adds extra warmth and loved the fact that I don’t have to buy a new coat this winter. Be sure and check your zip type on your coat before purchasing!

An excellent idea to keep both you and baby cosy and not having to buy another jacket for baby wearing. Wish I’d had during pregnancy!
These really are excellent. We do a lot of walking and it keeps our little girl warm and dry in the carrier. We dress her similar to the person carrying her, with one extra layer (e.g. a vest) plus gloves hat and booties, she doesn’t need a coat or pram suit as the zip us in acts as her coat to. It’s worth contacting the company to check your zip is compatible and to make sure you order the correct panel.
Perfect addition to my Joules raincoat to turn it into a babywearing coat. Exactly what I was looking for. Baby is so snug underneath it .

Got this so my husband can do up his jacket around the baby carrier. Works well, and matches nicely with his black softshell jacket. It’s a shame there isn’t a choice of colours.
I was looking for something to extend my waterproof jacket when using my sling and came across zipusin jacket extender. Following the instructions in the description I was able to select the right product for my coat. It fits well and my baby is now kept cozy when out and about. A few people have commented what a great idea it is.

I think this is a great invention! It works perfectly fine with my Quechua (Decathlon) waterproof jacket and my Patagonia winter parka.
The only suggestion I would give to the designers is to move the cord lock on the side, it will give much a clean look to the pannel, and it won’t stick out from the bump when pregnant.
Materialtechnisch handelt es sich um Softshell, hlt also Wind und kleinere Regenschauer aus. Fr kltere Tage msste man das Baby ggf. etwas wrmer anziehen. Ansonsten: Mein Kleiner fhlt sich pudelwohl darin.

I absolutely love this panel! I have used it on 2 different coats and it attaches quickly and easily. It also saved me money not having to buy a Maternity coat during pregnancy.
It now keeps my little one dry when I have him in the ergo on the colder, rainy school runs.
I recommend this to all expecting mums!
It even went up Snowdon with me in December weather when I was 20 weeks pregnant 🙂

This has been a complete lifesaver. I ordered a zip is in when I was pregnant, it meant I could stop wearing my husbands coats. Since then I’ve been using it when I carry my baby in her sling, she didn’t like the pram as a newborn so it was a perfect way to keep her warm and dry for those winter walks. Its such a perfect baby shower gift, I wish I had been bought more practical stuff rather than lots of cute baby outfits that are used once.
I love this product! It’s easy to use, I just watched the YouTube video to see how to attach it.
It’s so versatile as it fits a few of my different coats!!
My little bear stayed lovely and warm (and dry) on our muddy walks with my toddler and it means I don’t have to use the pushchair in wet weather.
It works with my baby wrap and baby bjorn carrier and hubby can even use it with his coat too 🙂

Great product for extending my coat. Fabric was of good quality and kept wind and rain out. It is a little heavy. Plenty of scope for adjusting. Plan to now use with a baby carrier.
I bought this while pregnant to fit into my pre-pregnancy jackets and it worked great. It saved me having to buy new jackets. I now use it while baby wearing and it keeps my baby nice and warm. It fits on all my North Face coats perfectly.

I used it for my jacket that I love so much but it does not go up to the top so I have a big gap only be able to wear in summer time .it was hard to put on to my jacket .
I am actually not, nor have I ever been pregnant. But I needed to expand my snowcoat when on a very brutally cold ski trip. This helped fit those extra layers without my needed to buy another larger coat for just these times.
Would certainly work for someone who is expecting though!!! I still had tons of room.

Tip, since it will fit larger around the neck, consider a neck warmer or scarf. You will need it if it’s very cold.
Gerade wenn man zur kalten Jahreszeit hochschwanger ist, ist die Erweiterung ne super Lsung um sich nicht extra eine teure Umstandsjacke kaufen zu mssen. Allerdings ist das “einfdeln” etwas knifflig.
It is a good stop-gap option for pregnant women. Please be mindful though of the size as I had to go for the 80 cms one for my wife as she has a longer jacket.
I bought this product to carry my little one and could not find a coat I liked. I just LOVE this jacket expander: cheap, high quality, does the job perfectly. Would buy it again and again !

I really like this product. It works very well and keeps me warm in the minus 20 Celsius Toronto winter. I like the features where I can button up or release certain sections to fit better around either my bump or my baby. Overall, great quality and saved me from buying expensive maternity winter jackets. Only wish it comes in more colours and styles.
I am so happy I bought this. Even though it was just a short period of wearing it and it is expensive, it was really nice to be able to wear my North Face down jacket this winter while pregnant. I didn’t have this for my first pregnancy (also winter) and I froze. Happy i can repurpose niebfie baby wearing while it’s still cold.
I love this zip in! It’s perfect to turn my jacket into a maternity jacket. I have a North Face Apex jacket and it matched my jacket perfectly in color and size. I tried a few maternity jackets but they weren’t warm and expensive, this is a perfect alternative. The material isn’t super tick so it won’t add warmth but it’s better than leaving your jacket open or spending money on a whole new jacket.
I actually got allot of compliments on it.
Amazing customer service!! Bought the original panel for our first baby in 2015 and it was our fav piece of baby kit. We just got one of the new universal panels (with sliders, not clips) and it is fab!!! The sliders are so easy you use and the panel is the same great quality as before. The team at Zip Us In are beyond helpful and really want for you to find a solution for your jacket. We use it for baby wearing, switching between multiple jackets and wearers. It’s great!
Excellent added insulation for me and baby. Only shame is it isn’t waterproof.

Der Reiverschluss ruckelt zwar ein bisschen, erfllt aber trotzdem gut seinen Zweck. Eine super Alternative zu teuren Umstandsjacken! Kann ich nur empfehlen!
Ich muss zugeben, dass ich aufgrund der Bewertungen doch ein wenig skeptisch war, ob das Teil das hlt, was es verspricht. Wobei ich sagen muss, dass die Beschreibung der verschiedenen Reiverschlsse eigentlich sehr verstndlich dargestellt ist.
Heute kam das gute Stck, wie immer sehr schnell bei Amazon, und ich bin sehr begeistert. Es passt wunderbar an meinen Wintermantel und ich habe gute 100 gespart, da ich keinen neuen kaufen muss fr die letzten Schwangerschaftswochen und die Tragezeit danach. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Produkt und freue mich auf den ersten Spaziergang
I like it and it delivered quickly. It is a little large but its good to grow into as baby grows and i beleive if you wanted to can use the strapd i mifdlr to tighten. I use it for putting my baby in the carrier and zipping him inside my jacket with me during these cold canadian winters.
Fits perfectly even on a waterproof zipper.
It is easy to install and uninstall, as this is used with my main coat and I’m not carrying my kid all the time it was important that the process was easy enough. It’s eveb possible to attach it with the kid already on you !!!
If you want to be picky and fair there is one side of the zipper that gets sometime stuck when you try to zip it. But nothing a little perseverance can’t solve.
If you live in a cold country in winter it will not be warm enough to protect your little one.

Alles in allem ein sehr zu empfehlendes Produkt. Vorher genau lesen welche Erweiterung zur eigenen Jacke passt dann gibt’s auch keine Enttuschung beim probieren.
Mit diesem Einsatz kann ich meine normalen Jacken anziehen.
Bei der Auswahl des Artikels ist es besonders wichtig das richtige Produkt zu bestellen. Ich war mir nicht sicher und habe dem Verkufer geschrieben. Dieser antwortete sehr schnell und bat mich um ein Foto meiner Jacke. Mit dessen Hilfe habe ich schnell das passende Produkt gefunden.

Der Einsatz passt super bei meinen Jacken. Diese mssen allerdings den gleichen Reiverschluss haben.
Fr uns eine super Investition, da meine Frau als auch ich unseren Sohn bei uns haben kann mit der eigenen Jacke.
I was skeptical when I first saw how thin it was but after a couple uses I believe that it is perfect. It’s incredibly easy to use, for beautifully with my coat and will be perfect as the weather gets colder!
The zipper was too narrow for all my jackets at first. Once I used pliers to get it on and used it a few times, it started working perfectly. Big enough to fit baby in my pre-pregnancy jacket, and warm enough that I see myself going outside in -30 C with my daughter lightly bundled up!
Diese Jackenerweiterung ist eine wirklich tolle Alternative zu den ganzen teuren Tragejacken. Mein Mann und ich haben 3 Jacken mit dem selben Reiverschluss, sodass wir diese Erweiterung beide nutzen knnen. In wenigen Sekunden ist das Teil von einer Jacke zur nchsten gewechselt und es hlt perfekt den Wind ab. Selbst bei 0 Grad fhlt sich unser Baby sehr wohl und warm in der Trage unter der Jacke ganz nah bei Mama oder Papa, ohne selbst in irgendwelchen unbequemen dicken Klamotten eingepackt zu sein. Wenn es noch klter wird lohnt sich auch sicherlich noch der passende Fleece Einsatz.
Die Verarbeitung ist top und einige negative Rezensionen, dass der Reisverschluss verkehrt herum angebracht ist kann ich so garnicht nachvollziehen, da der Reisverschluss beidseitig nutzbar ist. Einfach auf links drehen, fertig.
Super pratique. Protge bien bb. Par contre un peu dur a la premire utilisation, jai eu bcp de mal a enclencher la fermeture des deux cts, il faut forcer un peu. Mais aprs ca va.

This product arrived today and it fits my coat perfectly. It is reversible as well. Very happy with this product and would recommend it.
Within a week of getting this product, one of the cinch toggles elastic broke. Half was still attached to the toggle, half still inside the jacket. As a pregnant lady in MN in October, I can’t go without a jacket while waiting for a replacement. I reached out to the seller and they shipped a replacement right away. Awesome customer service.
As far as the product itself– GENIUS!!!!!!! So much more logical than buying a whole new jacket for the few months of my life that I’ll need it. I’ve already been talking/showing the ladies in my life. They are all as amazed as I am. I did check my zipper before ordering, so no ‘fit’ problems.

Leider hat sie ganz unten und am Hals keinen Kordelzug, sodass es dort etwas zieht, deshalb ein Punkt Abzug.
Bei Regen habe ich noch nicht testen knnen. Auch als Tragejacke konnte ich sie noch nicht testen.
Ich finde die Jackenerweiterung super. Ich nutze sie derzeit in der Schwangerschaft und kann so meine Winterjacke noch tragen und muss mir nicht extra eine neue kaufen. Bei der ersten ist leider das Gummi zum festziehen gerissen, aber ich habe sofort eine neue geschickt bekommen und die hlt bislang gut.

Such a brilliant money saving product. Having been pregnant through winter and spring I would of needed to purchase several maternity coats to cover the different weather but having the zip us in means I’ve been able to wear all my own coats whatever the weather. Would recommend to anyone who is pregnant.
I’ve had my zipusin since i was about 12 weeks pregnant, worked really well for the coats without a double zip once i started developing my bump. I’m now 29 weeks and still loving it, hoping to be able to babywear so will get lots of use!
I’ve ordered an extra panel as i’ve got a lot of coats….and it’s easier to switch panels between coats rather than use the adapter (from single to double zip), and overall it’s still great value.
My partner and I are pretty outdoorsy so i’ve used this on my Paramo waterproof, Mammut down, down gilet and Montane primaloft. It’s been up Snowdon and Blencathra as well as ‘normal’ wear. I’ve had a few outdoor shops ask me what it is as they seem to recognise that it’s not standard.
I ordered the universal originally but soon realised I’d prefer the zip version, Kate the owner was amazing about it all and cannot fault the service at all.
There’s a few things I’ve suggested to improve it but as fairly new product, that’s to be expected, and Kate has taken the feedback onboard. I’m looking forward to seeing her develop the brand 🙂
sehr gute Jackenerweiterung und fr ein sehr angemessenen Preis. sehr leicht zu montieren und zu abnehmen. passt hervorragend mit dem Manduca (sowohl fr mich als auch fr meine Frau). sehr gute Produktbeschreibung. man kann leicht erkennen welche YKK Reiverschluss passt. man kann diese Erweiterung sehr leicht fr Linke oder Rechte Reiverschluss anpassen. und gegebenenfalls ist der Kundenservice sehr leicht zu erreichen und sehr hilfreich. ich hatte nmlich eine besondere Frage bzgl. einer dritten Jacke. da Produkt und Service einwandfrei habe ich noch ein Snuggly q2-lagige Fleece-Liner nach bestellt (fr sehr groe Kalte). Freue mich schon drauf.
Fabulous invention! I bought this during my pregnancy and have used continuously throughout the winter! It has saved me from getting cold on many occasions! I love the fact that I can also use when my baby arrives! I lovely coat and this has been the perfect solution for me!

This panel allows me to keep wearing my usual North Face waterproof jacket during my pregnancy.
Initially I had some issues with the zip, but Zipusin customer services were very helpful and responsive, and sent out a zip adaptor free of charge.
All works fine now.
Par contre, attention au type de tirette de votre manteau! Il existe diffrents panneaux en fonction de la tirette de la veste (grosses dents ou petites dents, double tirette ou simple tirette): je n’avais pas bien vu dans la description (c’est mieux expliqu sur la boite que dans le descriptif je trouve) que c’tait pour une tirette double tirette donc j’ai du renvoyer le produit et commander celui pour une tirette (ceci dit, le renvoi et le remboursement se sont faits sans aucun problme).
Par contre, attention au type de tirette de votre manteau! Il existe diffrents panneaux en fonction de la tirette de la veste (grosses dents ou petites dents, double tirette ou simple tirette): je n’avais pas bien vu dans la description (c’est mieux expliqu sur la boite que dans le descriptif je trouve) que ce n’tait pas la bonne tirette donc j’ai du renvoyer le produit et commander celui qui correspondait la tirette de ma veste (ceci dit, le renvoi et le remboursement se sont faits sans aucun problme).

Well, I bought this product for my wife as she was expecting our second baby and is a keen walker and we didn’t want to fork out for a new walking jacket for her. It was PERCECT! Fitted well and was easy to use and very comfortable. In addition, Dads can use it once the baby is here too! We now both use it to keep the little one snug. This is a great product and saved is a fortune! The hood was a nice touch too as it keeps the baby nice and dry. My only issue is I don’t want my little girl to outgrow it. I’m rather a protective dad! Get one and keep your existing coats and jackets.
