I bought this because I was getting a lot of moisture on my windows in the mornings and I could never dry my washing with just a fan and open window. This dehumidifier works great to dry the house out more, I just leave it in the room for an hour in the morning or in the room whenever I’m drying washing and it works great. Couldn’t live without it now. The only disadvantage is that it doesn’t work as well when its cold in the house.

There’s nothing to dislike about this product, I bought it a few weeks ago but only started using it last week.
I’m so pleased with every aspect of the dehumidifier. One of my bedroom windows is terrible for condensation, within an hour it had cleared. Some people don’t like the noise but to
me it’s just part of background noise. It’s neat, moves easily on the carpet and most of all does the job it’s required to do. So 5 stars from me.

We dry our washing indoors during the winter and have recent moved house. Our new home didn’t like the humid levels of the washing and was showing some signs of damp. We bought this and it worked like a charm, the damp cleared up a treat.

I’ve had it on in the bedroom while sleeping and the air become too dry for my eyes. That’s literally the only issue I can think of, everything else is great!

I bought this after suffering from a leaking overflow which made its way through the walls. First off it is a very good dehumidifier. Ir reduces the humidity level in the room with no problems. It is not particularly noisy and after a while just fades into the general background noise of a room. Occasionally it will sound like a fridge, but this is the compressor kicking in and is not something to worry about.
The amount of air that can be felt coming out of unit is impressive. However, one downside I have noticed with this is that it can cool the room down quite quickly, which could then require further heating which will add up to an increase in energy bills in the future.
The other things is the weight of the unit. It was a big surprise to me when the package was delivered as to how heavy it was. The ratings label on the unit states a weight off 11kg which is quite a lot. This is not a problem for me, but it could be something that some people could struggle with.
Overall it is a very good dehumidifier, it does what it says it will and was worth the expense

A little noisy, works well, could do with an handle to pick up instead of pushing every where it’s not actually heavy but placing around the house on carpets

My bedroom is a corner room, in a bungalow, with two exterior walls. This winter it is very damp with mould starting to grow on corner of ceiling. Hence buying this dehumidifier.
It works well and has improved the appearance of the room.. BUT I cannot use it at night because of the noise. In addition to the fan, which is fine, there is a constant additional sort of whirring, clicking sound.
This is my first experience of a dehumidifier so I don’t know if this is normal. It is advertised as quiet!
Minor point.. wheels do not work well on carpet but it is not particularly heavy to lift and move if necessary.

Really pleased with this dehumidifier! It’s helping keep the condensation from pouring down my windows and rotting the sills. It also dries laundry in 24 hours if left overnight to run (tumble dryer had broke but is now replaced)
It’s collected multiple litres of water from my house, which was at 93% humidity ( gotta love a damp rented house)
I did buy a second unit as I was so impressed with this one but the delivery driver dropped it over a 5ft fence into my garden and broke it, so I had to send it back.

I had problems with condensation on the windows in several rooms in my house and was concerned by the health problems that damp mouldy air can cause.

I bought this dehumidifier along with several hygrometers to monitor humidity levels and I am happy with the performance of the dehumidifier. Although it is quite small, it is effective at drying out the air.

I initially kept it on over several days moving it around the affected rooms (being on wheels and its small size makes it easy to move) and I noticed the difference it was making quite quickly. The hygrometers showed humidity was lower, the air felt drier and more pleasant. I have also noticed that the house warms up faster and I have been able to reduce my heating usage so it will probably pay for itself over the year.

The dehumidifier is particularly great at quickly drying laundry which would sit in my spare room and take a day or two to dry. I can now dry this by the end of the day and the laundry smells fresher if I’m honest.

My only criticism is that it is quite noisy. It is fine for during the day but at night-time (even in night mode) it is too loud for me, however I am a light sleeper so it might be fine for others.

This has been a worthwhile purchase and I recommend that you purchase a dehumidifier (either this one or another brand) if you are also having problems with damp rooms, want to dry your laundry faster or reduce your central heating usage if your house has high humidity.

Despite new double glazing there was often moisture on my windows. This dehumidifier works wonders and got the humidity down from 73% to 50% in no time. So glad I got this! It’s fairly quiet and very easy to empty. Couldn’t have wished for more.

We were suffering from really bad condensation on windows and I was getting tired of mopping it up every morning.

So after purchsing a digital hydrometer and confirming that we did have a high level of humidity I researched a few similar dehumidifiers before opting for this one from Aribio. They are all pertty much the same in this range as far as i could tell. The main reason for buying this one over the others was i liked the front led which lights red for high humidity and green for acceptable.

Wow. this thing can really suck the water out of the air. I mainly turn it on over night but I am having to empty the tank around every 2 days. We don’t have an extractor in the kitchen, so we also turn the dehumidifier on to immediately reduce the humidity caused by any steam.

Our downstairs is more or less open plan with 2 reception areas, and combined kitchen dining room – approx 50 square meters in total and since using this we haven’t had any condensation on any windows downstairs.

I haven’t noticed any major increase in electricity usage – we have a smart meter which i keep tabs on.

We use this to dry the washing in the colder months when we can’t hang it outside. Drys 3 airers worth of washing and prevents condensation and mould on the windows. Very happy.

I suffered with bad condensation on my windows and some mould on walls and window surrounds for a long time. I tried the cheap humidifiers but they didn’t work. So I decided to go for this. You definitely notice your home warm up once it’s been running a little while and removed a lot of damp. Once you rid your home of the existing damp you have, I have found it stays dry a few days before I need to turn the machine back on again. It’s reasonably easy to use. I do recommend this as it’s really helped me to keep my home damp free.

I’ve been using this for a week now in the kitchen as it gets very humid and it’s become an issue for mould growth. I have also used it to dry clothes overnight too, more on that in a bit.

I like how intuitive it is to use. The buttons are self explanatory with symbols and each controls an obvious function. The unit itself is quiet on the low fan setting so I can’t see many people struggling to sleep with it on in a bedroom at night.

I only leave it on overnight and usually in the morning it’s removed a good 20-30% humidity from the air while drying a few items on the drying rack. The air feels and smells drier which is pleasant. There’s no longer condensation on the windows so that’s a good result too.

Cost wise, if you ran this 24 hours a day, you could expect it to cost between 70p and 1 depending on your tariff and the setting used but I shouldn’t imagine it would last very long of you ran it constantly, and on a high setting so I wouldn’t recommend using it too often.

It has wheels on the bottom so it’s easy to move on a hard flat surface but if you have carpets, it’s really not very heavy at all, perhaps 7 or 8kg so it’s easily moved from room to room but remember it has refrigerant and a compressor so if you move it a lot, let it settle before you turn it back on.

Overall, I’m pleased with this unit and it’s exceeded my expectations. It removes a good amount of moisture from the air, isn’t so large it gets in the way and is cheap to run. It’s only really ideal for one large room, perhaps even a small flat but bigger areas will need something larger and more heavy duty.

Loving in a house built in the 1950 with 4 bedrooms, when the seasonal temperatures changes condensation is a big problem. Since using this dehumidifier the amount of condensation has reduced to next to nothing. There is a substantial amount of water collected in the tray, which has to be emptied a few times per day. Only down side is the noise level, it is quite loud.

    Very good product though!

So, i have a hard wooden floor in the living room and the corner of one panel had started to bulge. After looking online it looked like it could be due to humidity and we do dry our washing in the area it bulged. Now its too early to say whether the dehumidifier will flatten the tiny part of bulged wood however it has been an eye opener in terms of how much the humidity in the room can jump especially when drying clothing through winter and does a good job of getting the humidity levels down.

It does have a clothes drier mode which does seem to work. It does say it can take up to 12 litres of water out of the air a day which is most likely only in certain circumstances. I find it takes about 3 – 4 litres out a day. As it stands i would recommend.

This is a great little dehumidifier, our previous one was a lot bigger than this. It’s extremely quiet and highly manoeuvrable with wheels on the bottom. I’ve used it several times for drying washing, it’s has two operational modes, one with a water container inside or you can attach a handy hose if you want it to drain to an external container. I would recommend this product.

Reduced the humidity in my bedroom from levels above 60 to 44 within an hour, sucks a stunning amount of water out of the air.

The caveat, is that it is noisy when the compressor is running, whether it’s in sleep mode or standard, your not sleeping through it which is disappointing.

However, given the performance and potential for drying clothes, overall I am happy with it.

    Excellent with one cavea

I have an ensuite bathroom in the master bedroom in my home. We started to have humidity problems inside the bedroom, bathroom and wardrobe. Since we bought the dehumidifier, that issue was reduced and eventually ended. It is true that the item consumes more electricity than I expected, but reduced the use of the bedroom’s heater. Overall, it does its function well.

in a matter of a few short weeks I took my home from a humid damp home to a relative comfortable one with a acceptable humidity just by moving it from room to room, its so efficient! and the noise levels don’t drone on like other dehumidifiers, I’m very pleased with it , lets hope it keeps going just like me previous one which after 22 years still in service without ever had any problems.
If I have but one gripe its the size of the tank, due to its efficiency it fill up rather quickly, one cant always use the continuous draining facility, perhaps a 4 or 5 litter tank would of being just the ticket.

Got this as we started airing laundry upstairs. We started getting lots of condensation on the windows, and worse, mould appearing on the ceiling.

On turning it on it identified that we had over 75% humidity in the room.

Left it to do its thing and we’ve not had water/mould since. The laundry drying function has also meant we’re drying clothes faster, but the downside is we get to do the ironing quicker…

I bought this due to experiencing mouldy bedroom walls in my bungalow. The item arrived upside down, despite the “keep upright” arrows on the box, but worked ok after leaving it to settle for 12 hours.
After a bit of practice it’s fairly easy to use. The readouts were initially very high, but gradually dropped after an hour or two of use. Noisier than we expected, so not ideal to operate during the night, if used in the bedroom. Our bedroom was smelling musty due to damp, but this machine does really make a difference. After just a few hours the tank had filled halfway !
We have a separate hydrometer and noted the different readings before and after running the machine. It’s amazing to watch the moisture levels drop !
So yes. The unit is lightweight, easy to move and efficient. I assumed the machine would be able to be set for a specific humidity level and it would run until that level was reached, then shut off automatically. It’s a little disappointing that it doesnt do this and it runs continuously, whatever setting you adjust it to. That is my only gripe.

Bought this to help with drying the washing, very impressed with how quickly it worked. It’s a really good size ie not too big and withdrew water efficiently and quickly. Room fell from 69% to 50% within an hour! So impressed that we’ve moved it to other rooms for non washing related sessions! It does take a couple of readings of the instructions to get your head round the settings but fine once you know what you are doing and it is quite noisy, you wouldn’t want to sleep in the same room
