Stylish, good design. Picture and sound quality excellent perfect for catching up on all the dvds we’ve collected. Delivered within days of ordering, brilliant after sales, had to contact the seller about a slight problem, but this was sorted the following day. Will certainly use this seller again in the future.

Good DVD player for the price. Large screen for watching movies. Remote has display function to see how far you are into the movie. Can control the screen from remote or buttons on the machine. Can turn LCD screen off whilst allowing the sound of the disc to continue. Cost-effective way to help see many movies in future.

Great product. We brought this DVD player for a birthday present for our 16 Year old boy. The product arrived on time, was easy to set up and easy to use. The screen is big and feels cinematic when travelling. A growing trend amongst teens to return to DVDs he’s fished out all our olds ones and it’s reintroduced him to content he wouldn’t usually stream. My idea was to use it to stimulate her memory by showing her our family life for the past 30 years.

We were happy enough with it to simply buy another identical machine. Unfortunately in July this one just stopped being able to read DVD’s for some reason. With it still being under warranty we got in touch with Amazon who put us in contact with BOIFUN Customer Services team. They were very helpful in advising us of various things we could try to get it working, and when these failed to work they simply, asked us to take a video and send it to them to demonstrate that it was in fact not working. Once they were satisfied that there was a genuine fault they quickly agreed to replace the machine, which promptly arrived just two days later. This new one is working well so far.
Basically my conclusions: It’s a decent enough wee machine which has proved to be quite reliable and robust with sensible use. In my view it comes at a reasonable enough price, with a full year guarantee. When it did fail (as things just sometimes do) they were friendly, helpful, pro-active and solved the problem. What more can one ask?

Setting up the player was as easy as 1-2-3! I used the Setup button on the right-hand control panel, as well as the Remote Control – both were fully functional. The Setup offers ‘General’, ‘Audio’, ‘Panel Quality’, and ‘Preference’ pages with several options on each. I was pleased and surprised at how much was available. The ability to watch both NTSC and PAL formatted discs is a great bonus!
After setting my viewing preference, the picture quality was better than I had expected. From an ‘old’ 1980s film to the latest blockbuster movie, watching them on the 15.6″ screen was a delight. I must say that the speakers are also very good; I experienced absolute clarity even at a very low volume — impressive.
I am very pleased to have bought the BOIFUN Portable Video Player. With 6-hours+ of rechargeable battery life, it will be ideal in the event of any future power cuts! I highly recommend this device.
I GOT THIS PLAYER MAINLY FOR THE GRANDCHILDREN TO PLAY DVDS ON. THEY ALWAYS ASK FOR MY COMPUTER WHICH I AM A BIT WARY OF THESE DAYS………DOES THE JOB VERY WELL.
The dvd player arrived really quickly and was exactly as described, the only slight downside is that the sound quality isn’t great.
This is a large dvd player, shows clear pictures. I haven’t used it much but I really like it so far. It’s a bit bulky but what do you expect.

Bought this for my husband after Microsoft stopped supporting DVD software through his laptop. The sound and picture quality is great, especially for the price which was very reasonable. Over the years I have collated quite a number of dvds. I recently purchased this item and have found it a delight to use. It’s very light and portable which means I can retire to my man cave watch many hours of old films uninterrupted,. Easy to use and no issues have arisen yet. Works best with earphones to obtain the best sound quality. Would buy another.

This portable DVD is a good size, large enough to watch easily but compact enough to transport. Just what we wanted to take with us on our holiday in a remote cottage. Looking forward to cosy evenings in front of the log burner watching our favourite films on DVD.

This is a great product, well worth the money. Picture quality is brill, the controls on the dvd player easy to use. It’s not noisy when in use like our other one, nice qnd quiet and the volume control is really good unlike our other one. We haven’t used the remote control so unable to comment as the controls directly on the dvd player are easy to use as far as we’re concerned. Nice big screen, the kids love it. Would highly recommend this dvd player.

I love the Size of the screen he doesn’t use remote control the sound and colour lovely and it keeps him entertained especially in the car.
I was able to operate it without the need to keep looking at the Instruction Manual. That counts for a lot with me!!!
Can`t get it to play SD Cards though – so I may need to get the `Instructions` out again; unless anyone who has one – can explain it to me.
Shame it doesn`t have a bluetooth facility though.

Large enough screen with nice bright colours and a decent battery life.
Great for watching by one person. Screen can be tilted for optimum viewing. However when getting tired at end of day, leaning back to get comfy, picture vanishes. Have to get up & tilt the screen to the new optimum angle. Picture black with shadows when viewed from the side.
Fast delivery of this item. Looks good and my son is delighted with the large screen. We had an issue with the original remote control but thanks to great customer service this has been resolved and my son (and me as a result) is one very happy customer!
I purchased a player some time ago. Recently it would not accept charge.I contacted the supplier and sent video of fault.They sent a new one straigt away.Brilliant player and supplier. I recommend buying this player from this supplier. Cd ,usb stick,dvd ,photos it does it all. Good clear sound and picture too. Buy one.!
after a time the dvds (old and new) would not work and help line advice was to clean dvd with toothpaste and distilled water which worked sometimes but not always and its a tedious and irritating to have to do this. However a replacement was made by the supplier and so far this is working well .
This DVD player arrived in very good time an it is clearly a robust and well made item. First impression is that the screen and sound quality a is very good. I bought it to be able to play some old educational DVDs and it is useful to be able to play anywhere.
