Brought this DVD player to use in our caravan and although we haven’t yet been out we checked it out at home. Quick to understand and easy to use with all the expected functions but more important the picture and sound quality was better than we expected.

I’ve bought this as a gift for my dad , he is 92 & finds navigating the tv Chanel’s challenging, he has lots of dvds but is unable to watch them , saw this portable dvd player & thought it would be an ideal Xmas gift . Brilliant DVD Playe
Just bought this dVD player and it’s brilliant, picture quality is great but it does depend on the quality of the DVD you are playing. The sound is very good not too tinny just right for me, the screen is of good quality and it comes with everything you need, remote control , car charging cable, video cable the only thing I wished it had was Bluetooth as I had to buy an adapter so I could use my wireless headphones.

This is a really lovely item, smart looking & sturdy. I bought it as a gift for my grandson but took it of of the box to make sure it was all OK.. I have put it back in the box & I know he will be thrilled with it.
It is much nicer than the one I bought for myself which was cheaper. This one is good value for the extra money & I would recommend it to any one looking for one.

Though this video machine is new to me it has been easy to set up and the picture and sound quality are excellent. So far I have found nothing to dislike about it. I love the way photographs completely fill the screen. It seemed to be amazing value for money and would recommend it to anyone.

Good DVD player for the price. Large screen for watching movies. Remote has display function to see how far you are into the movie. Can control the screen from remote or buttons on the machine. Can turn LCD screen off whilst allowing the sound of the disc to continue. Cost-effective way to help see many movies in future.

Great product. We brought this DVD player for a birthday present for our 16 Year old boy. The product arrived on time, was easy to set up and easy to use. The screen is big and feels cinematic when travelling. A growing trend amongst teens to return to DVDs he’s fished out all our olds ones and it’s reintroduced him to content he wouldn’t usually stream. I bought this DVD Player for my wife who is 85years old suffering from dementia and is in a care home.
My idea was to use it to stimulate her memory by showing her our family life for the past 30 years.
This portable dvd player is perfect for the job and picture and sound quality are excellent and I think she looks forward to my visits with the player for more memories.

So delighted with my product which arrived to Ireland 2 days after I placed my order. Very impressive. The packaging was excellent, which is so important for an item of this size. Delighted that I can watch or listen to different forms of media. I have been without a DVD player for a few years, but was reluctant to let my collection go. I am so glad I didn’t. Most nights it’s a trip down memory lane watching my DVD’S. During the day, I spend a lot of time in my kitchen cooking. I have lots of audio drama CDs. I’m in heaven. Would definitely recommend this player. Great value.

Although this DVD player feels quite lightly made, it has proved it’s worth to us over the past three years. We first bought one for our son who has learning difficulties, and used it on a daily basis without problems for two years, until the screen got damaged due to an accident in March this year.
We were happy enough with it to simply buy another identical machine. Unfortunately in July this one just stopped being able to read DVD’s for some reason. With it still being under warranty we got in touch with Amazon who put us in contact with BOIFUN Customer Services team. They were very helpful in advising us of various things we could try to get it working, and when these failed to work they simply, asked us to take a video and send it to them to demonstrate that it was in fact not working. Once they were satisfied that there was a genuine fault they quickly agreed to replace the machine, which promptly arrived just two days later. This new one is working well so far.
Basically my conclusions: It’s a decent enough wee machine which has proved to be quite reliable and robust with sensible use. In my view it comes at a reasonable enough price, with a full year guarantee. When it did fail (as things just sometimes do) they were friendly, helpful, pro-active and solved the problem. What more can one ask?

I have recently purchased a Boifun portable DVD player for general family viewing and can say it is an excellent product with easy to operate controls, both manually or via the remote. The picture and sound are of very high quality plus the swivel screen makes viewing very easy from several angles plus the six-hour battery life makes frequent recharging unnecessary. I would certainly give it a 5-star rating and recommend its purchase as I consider it very good value for money.

I bought this DVD Player and was thrilled to bits with it. Unfortunately my little dog chewed the remote control. so I had a look on Amazon to see whether IO could purchase a new one from them, but alas no. I decided to contact Boifun directly via email. They replied almost by return, allowing for the time difference, and said they would be glad to send me a new one if I could supply my name and address details. Again they replied promtly and said the new replacement one would be with me within 5 to 10 days. Not only that but they even tracked it so I could follow its progress.
I cannot fault their service. It really was first class from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company and its product. Well done Boifun!
The BOIFUN Portable DVD Player is well-designed and sturdy. I like the fact that the left and right control panels comprise essential functions which are clearly marked. This also applies to the easily accessible ports on the right-hand side of the unit. Having the dual speakers and the DVD section parallel with the control panel gives this player a truly sleek appearance!
Setting up the player was as easy as 1-2-3! I used the Setup button on the right-hand control panel, as well as the Remote Control – both were fully functional. The Setup offers ‘General’, ‘Audio’, ‘Panel Quality’, and ‘Preference’ pages with several options on each. I was pleased and surprised at how much was available. The ability to watch both NTSC and PAL formatted discs is a great bonus!
After setting my viewing preference, the picture quality was better than I had expected. From an ‘old’ 1980s film to the latest blockbuster movie, watching them on the 15.6″ screen was a delight. I must say that the speakers are also very good; I experienced absolute clarity even at a very low volume — impressive.
I am very pleased to have bought the BOIFUN Portable Video Player. With 6-hours+ of rechargeable battery life, it will be ideal in the event of any future power cuts! I highly recommend this device.

I GOT THIS PLAYER MAINLY FOR THE GRANDCHILDREN TO PLAY DVDS ON. THEY ALWAYS ASK FOR MY COMPUTER WHICH I AM A BIT WARY OF THESE DAYS………DOES THE JOB VERY WELL.
