Bought after going to a party where a friend had rented this size. Knew I needed one for myself.. this one was one of the lesser expensive option but I am so thrilled with my purchase. It actually has charging ports on the back so anyone who puts there phone in can connect to a charger and I love the remote control features as well. This is a legit purchase and would highly recommend it.
When I received this on 3/27/21, I briefly tried out the light and checked out the settings. I only had the light on for a few minutes before I packed it back up until I was ready to use it for filming. I wanted to film today. I had the light and camera on, sat down ready to start filming, and suddenly I hear a cracking, sizzling sound coming from the light. Then it blew out. I haven’t used it for more than 10 minutes total and it broke!
Edit on 7/13/21 – Because I first used this for filming past the product return period, which is when it broke, I thought I was screwed. But a customer service representative saw my review and reached out to me. He offered to refund or replace the light. I asked for a replacement. They rushed it out to me. I tried the light. It worked perfectly. I kept it on for over a half hour. No electronic sizzling noise. I’m very happy with the ring light. And I really appreciate Kevin (the customer service rep) for rectifying the issue.
I I’ve this light. It helps me to take amazing photos and when I am doing someone’s lashes it provides perfect lighting so I can do my best work.

It was pretty easy to assemble, light is very powerful and the dimmer is great. It has the remote control for dimming and if the remote isn’t around then I can use the control on the back of the light which is convenient. Overall it’s a very good light, the only thing that might be a little problematic is how long the power cord is, you’re gunna need an extension cord if your outlet is too far from where you want the light to be.
I use this all the time and actually prefer it to some of my more expensive studio lights. I wish the knobs tightened a bit better on the tripod. Other than that it’s perfect for amateur and professional use.
It’s bright as hell. The adjustable level is a nice design. And it comes with 2 USB charging ports for my phone. The tripod is also adjustable, stable, and easy to assemble.
This was my second purchase of a ring light, this one is hands down better than the first one I bought. While I got a little confused on how to setup the multiple phone stands that is the only thing I can find to ‘complain’ about and figured it out after about 5 minutes. This light is bright, large, and the multiple phone holders is a great feature. Being able to charge the phones off the same unit is also great and allows for unlimited recording. I wish I would have found this light a year ago.

Easy to set up, works like a charm. My wife is on Zoom for her business conferences often and this ring light gives much better balanced lighting than anything else we have used. We did have an issue that the company resolved instantly. The power cord was inadvertently pulled out of the outlet at a strange angle that broke the plug. When I contacted the company through Amazon, they reached out immediately and sent an entirely new ring light unit! That’s amazing customer service…beyond expectations!
Don’t expect top of the line equipment, it is not. Made in China; although the equipment concept it’s great the actual stuff is not the greatest. For the money I expected better. It’ll do the light work I’ll need it for but most definitely I’ll have to get a more professional grade for my more demanding tasks I’ll have to take care of. UPDATE 05/05/21: I raised my rating to 5 start due to the customer service from this vendor. He contacted me to follow up on my satisfaction with the product and offered a replacement or refund, since some stuff was broken upon arrival I opted for a replacement which arrived timely.
Bought this for help with self-tape auditions — and it is fantastic — a large light means it can be several feet away and still very helpful — and extremely adjustable in wide range of brightness/color temperature etc.
A great device for those who need home lighting for self tapes, interviews or great looking “chats”

This was so amazing. I am not tech savvy or a lighting expert, but this product was so easy to setup. I just opened the box and the directions were easy to follow. I am looking forward to using this ring light. I do many Zoom teachings and I was advised a ring light was needed. Super love this ring light. There are a wide variety of brightness and warmth it can produce, the tripod is very adjustable and extremely sturdy (unless it’s as tall as possible but I can’t see why I’d use it that tall)
It was intuitive to put together and the phone holders are nicely adjustable. It also works well to hold my nikon camera. Really I can’t say enough good about it.
Also very light weight, which I appreciate as I can’t handle heavy things. Would recommend to anyone taking portraits or pictures of people!

So happy that I purchcased this for my most recent photoshoot for a movie I am filming. I used for hair and makeup and lit every location perfectly for me as well as the other crew members. I would def suggest this as it is quick and easy to set up but the cell charger is super unique and awesome too.

I love that this light adjusts to an extremely bright setting. It was easy to assemble, the tri-pod height is versatile, the Bluetooth shutter was very easy to pair and the light remote is easy to use.
I did a lot of research before I decided to buy this ring light. I have used them in my piano studio before to record student performances and haven’t been happy with other products. When I set this one up, I was very impressed with the quality! It is wonderfully bright, and I love having the ability to change both the color temperature of the light as well as the brightness from the remote control. The bluetooth remote also works very well, which is one thing I found glitchy in other brands. My only complaint would be that I wish there was an indicator of what brightness and color settings were being used so that I could duplicate exact settings. The tripod stand is very sturdy and tall enough to allow me to record looking down on the piano keys. The light is very evenly distributed so that there are no “hot” or “dim” spots in the recordings. One of my favorite features is that I can charge my phone while I am recording directly from the light through the USB port in the back. I also like that I can connect my video camera as well as my phone. Many similarly priced products only allowed phone recording. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase! I would highly recommend this product!
Great, uniform light. I love the slight adjustments to brightness and warm that I can do. The stand feel sturdy and several different ways to hold phone and use an iPad adapter. Only wish that the stand would allow me to make the light tilt left to right.

The seller finally responded to my email and sent me a replacement in quite a timely manner. I am grateful they replaced it. The replacement works fine and I am happy with it. Thank you. I would recommend it if you’re shooting using multiple phones or just need a large ring light.
The light itself is great for what I needed it, however it didn’t come with all the components. One of the cold shoes is missing so I can’t use all holders at the same time which sort of defeats my need for it. I did email the seller but its been almost 2 weeks and I’ve heard nothing back. Also, the ball mechanism is quite finicky. Sometimes I have to mess with it to get it to hold my phone upright. I am using an iphone 12 Pro Max so it really isn’t that heavy. Not sure an ipad would work but I haven’t tried it as yet. I would have given the products 4 stars if I had received all the components, especially at the price.

The new plug arrived, and it is the correct size now. I’ve added a photo so you can see the difference. The original plug is on the right with the white interior, the new plug is on the left. The new plug fits snug into the socket, and there is no more sparking and flickering of the light.
If you purchase this light and receive the plug on the right(with the white interior), contact the company and let them know you need the right plug.

The light looks nice, and can give off a good light. But they send out the wrong plug, and it sparks when you plug it in. If you manage to get just the perfect angle and hold it in place the entire time the light is plugged in, it’s an okay ring light. If you manage this impossible task, you’d better hope nothing in your house moves, or it’s back to sparking for your plug!
The shape of the plug does not match the shape of the opening. The notch between the connectors is twice the size it should be, and thats the reason it can’t stay in the socket.
We’ve contacted the company and asked them to send the correct plug, and after seeing the videos and photos they asked for to confirm, they first said they would send a new plug. That was fine, until they sent a new email and told us we should have just pushed the plug in harder. Which we tried before and after contacting the company, and even pushing as hard as we can, it still wiggles and sparks. We think they said(in their poorly worded email) that they’ve shipped a new plug to us, so we’ll update if the plug works.

Just put this up so early review … very solidly built and gives the light range I was hoping for. All the cell phone and camera mount items are also solid and steady. Had to do some fiddling to get the bluetooth device to connect to my Samsung S10. It required me to install the Camera 360 app so it would detect. Camera360 requires a huge monthly subscription to use, though, so I uninstalled it again and the bluetooth connection remained and now works with the Samsung camera.

I love the light great replacement for my old because the cord couldn’t fit inside the adapter. Luckily with this light, you only have to plug from your wall to your light. Very easy to put together. The remote is very convenient for adjusting brightness and color while also being able to turn it on or off with the remote as well. I can hold my phone in portrait mode instead of landscape which made me love the light even more

This light is bright, has a wide assortment of color temperature options (I look better in cooler light, my wife looks better in warm), and the LEDs are uniform (as you can see from the photos).
I like the easy setup, the carrying/storage nylon zipper bag, and I ESPECIALLY APPRECIATE the two USB ports on the back of the unit – they make it very easy to plug your phone into power for long video calls.

I freaking love my ring light! Its tall and turns out very bright. I lit up an entire room without having to turn on my actual room light. Its easy to assemble. Its heavy enough to know it can carry its weight with the ring light on top and light enough to carry from one place to another. Its perfect. I plan on using this for self tapes and online zoom sessions for workshops and things of that nature. I love the remote it comes with! Both for the light and the phone. I assembled my ring light on the day I received it and was pretty satisfied. The two remotes are great! I love that I could adjust the color and temperature without needing to leave my position in front of the camera. The only slight issue I had was after disassembling the light. I wish the carrying bag had a pocket either on the inside or outside to hold the remotes and additional holders. Also, the adjustable stand doesn’t fit in the bag and there’s no separate bag holder for it. It would’ve been nice so I can prevent damage during transport.

Extremely impressed with this light. The set up was fairly smooth, the remotes are perfect and the light is the ideal size and brightness. Love it.
Its brightness is super helpful to improve your selfies or videos. I love the fact that I can take a shot from a distance using the Bluetooth remote shutter and control the brightness using a remote control, instead of having to move to manually adjust it…It algo brings a bag you can use to carry the ring light, and good thing it’s not heavy and it’s easy to lift. I’ve attached some pictures of how it looks like once you put its parts together. You can also adjust the tripod’s height, this can go up to 88 inches tall, I used an old fan and a lamp so you can compare its dimension. I definitely recommend it.

I was pleasantly surprised by the level of detailed control you have over the color and brightness. Most lights in this range offer maybe 6 levels/settings at most. This thing has two dials that you have to make full turns just to start seeing the change – and then keep going and going.
The diffuser is good in that you dont have any hot spots. A very nice, even illumination around the ring.
The stand/mounts/accessories are all good and usable.
My only complaints are that I wish the ball mounts got just a little tighter than they do. But thats nothing a small piece of electrical tape doesnt resolve. And, the nice carry bag for the light should have a pocket for the accessories.

The tripod is well built and sturdy. It is easy to adjust the height. The light can be easily changed to different levels by the remote controller.

There are three separate height-adjusting knobs on the stand, so there’s plenty of flexibility in height positioning.
-Includes carrying case for light itself.
Nice since this is by far the most fragile element of the package.
-Multiple lighting temperatures.
A pretty solid range between cool and warm temperatures for use in a variety of applications.
-Remotes are a nice touch.
Light remote and a bluetooth shutter for your phone make this a pretty awesome set up for selfies.
Cons:
-Packaging was a little haphazard.
-No case for the tripod or any of the other parts, so if you need to travel with the ring light and the tripod, they need to be carried separately.
-Knobs for adjusting color temperature have iconography implying there is a max scale, but in reality the knobs turn infinitely. Kind of a strange experience but doesn’t really detract from functionality at all.
Overall: price is a bit high, but there is a lot of functionality here. Perfect for YouTubers / selfie takers / any other lighting need.
