You get a decent 2.1A charger thrown in and it has a nice soft blue LED when powered on.
-Although the lights only actually draw .85A max. so you could swap for a lesser charger imo.
Controls are digital, so you can’t use an external timer.
BUT built-in timer is more versatile than most like this which only go up-to 12 hours max.
‘Course, you don’t HAVE to use the timer and could just leave them on, or use manually as desired.
Savvy shoppers might find something more powerful for the current asking price but I’d wager it wouldn’t offer 16Hrs on option. Just a personal gripe.
Currently have these positioned on my tomato growing shelf, works perfectly! Noticed an improvement in growth already from using in just a small space of time. The lights are easy to adjust and come with a long enough cable too. Very impressed.
I ordered these as I spend much of my time attempting to bring back to life the plants that my wife has almost killed, lol, but I also like to grow my own salad indoors so I thought these would be a good start into building my own small setup.
On opening, this set comes as two lighting strips with an inline switch and power connector. The strips are of a good quality and stick really well even to untreated wood. I haven’t finished constructing my setup yet but the light strips are fitted to what will be the top rail and when turned on they give out a bright clear daylight white which is full spectrum as is required for growing plants indoors.
This set could be used just on some shelving for an easy start or like me to build my own hydroponics type of starter set. I just need some automatic watering equipment and a smart sensor/alarm to keep an eye on the conditions and I’m all set.

These lights are a great little product that I use in my walk-in poly greenhouse for my seedlings in their propagators. They do the perfect job providing my little seeds with ample sunlight, even when the sun is not out! My sunflowers are loving them at the moment and they’re growing super fast It has 3 time settings which are colour coordinated for ease of use, and the dimmer switch is a useful addition towards the end of the day. They have self-adhesive strips or screws depending on where you’re fixing them, so installation is a breeze. Excellent for indoor or greenhouse use, it really gives my greenhouse a proper set-up feel Great for all you green fingers out there 4/5

With the low profile and the multiple cord options i was able to wind it through a tight shelving space and get a nice distribution of light to all my plants. The timer works well.
Really good value for money, can’t believe how bright it is for the price. You can put it on a timer and have as much light as your plants need without needing to turn on or off manually. I am using this for microgreens that I have sown and the growth after a day under this light is incredible, would recommend to anyone looking to dabble into sowing seeds.

Only used for a week, and need longer to see any improvement.
These are great during the winter months.
They are very portable, you can bring it to the plants or vice versa.
The timer and brightness control are great to have, you can adjust accordingly. It can also be powered by powerbank, so you can place anywhere.
Will also try do start some seeding now and ready for next month.

These lights are great! I’ve been using them for over a month to grow herbs and with the lack of sun up in the north, they’ve greatly helped. They come with 3 mounting options: screws, zip ties and double-sided with all accessories needed to mount in the box.
There’s an auto on/off timer which automates the whole process. I’ve set mine to turn on at 9AM and turn off after 8 hrs and it turns on at 9AM the next day. They’re bright enough that I only use them at 50% and all my plants are happy 🙂
The build quality of these lights looks good, and I like that you get an ample length of cable on them. In with the kit you get: 2x LED strip lights, 1x USB mains adaptor, 1x in-line control, 6x cable ties, 8x screws, and 2x self adhesive strips. The timer provides three useful timer settings: 8hrs, 12hrs, and 16hrs, whilst the dimmer can be adjusted to either a 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% setting.
I would have felt more reassured if the components had a CE, mark on them, but functionality-wise, these perform very well. If you only require 2x LED lights then these are worth considering. If you need more lights, then it will usually work out more economical to purchase a 4/8 pack kit – a choice which this company unfortunately doesn’t offer.
Used this for an under cupboard light in a dark spot in the kitchen. Have left the light on the longest timer setting to give the herbs some extra “sunlight”. Very easy to install- two separate lights each on their own self adhesive sticky strip, or there are screw holes for a more permanent fix but the glue seems to have held well to the kitchen cupboard. Cable to the plug is nice and long and is USB so goes straight into a USB socket which looks nice and clean and doesn’t take up valuable plug space. The remote and control was easy to use without even needing to read the instructions. Regarding durability time will tell but feels like a quality product. Please note sizing of bars as these were slightly smaller than anticipated- get the tape measure out before you buy and check sizing!
Using these light strips in my living room in an area which doesn’t get a great deal of light.
The lights were easy to install with the cable ties (included) although i found the lead a little shorter than i needed.
Its early days yet but i am optimistic based on other reviews and will add to my review after a month or so.

The timer allows you to select either 6,8 or 12 hours of light once turned on. You also don’t have to set the timer and can turn on and off manually if required. The timer cycle is started when you turn the unit on, it will then turn off after the programmed duration and then turn itself on at the same time the next day. So when setting up for the first time this does entail you being there to turn them on at the time you want them to then automatically come on each subsequent day.
I grow a lot of veg seedlings in spring and always struggle for space near the windows to place them. These lights solve that problem and allow me to keep the seedlings out of the way in a place with little natural light.
Let me start by saying these plant lights are really well made with a decent length of cables. They are super bright for there size but can be dimmed down to suit your plants demands with the click of the remote which as a nice solid click each time you press also on the remote is a timer which when pressed glows in three different colours green means 8 hours on blue 12 hours on and red 16 hours on but there is also a on- off button too. The only minus I can say which is why I gave one star less is where to put them your limited as there is no stand they do come with double sided tape, cable ties and screws but I believe if they came with some kind of plastic stand or frame you could place your plant anywhere there is a electric socket. If the graff is correct then these lights are in the correct spectrum for growing on your plant very simler on my tanks for growing plants.But for the price not a bad little kit.
I actually love these lights. I wasn’t sure how good they would be but the seedlings have actually grown better than before. Before installing the lights these seedlings were previously grown near a south facing window in a back bedroom. I moved them away from the window to a dark side of the same room and installed the lights and growth since then has been good if not better. Other than light source nothing else was changed. Temperature etc remained constant. Due to not being in direct sun light they actually dry out less too. I have one under each shelf in the photos.
It’s hard to tell from the photo but instead of the timer options described 2,4,8hours (seems incredibly short) mine has 8, 12 and 16 hours. I use the 12 hours mode timer which works well. They are easy to install with screws, stick pads or zip ties (included). Also the power consumption is tiny, I don’t notice any effect on my smart meter when they come in. Only down side is I would have liked them a bit longer but I may buy another set to extend the light coverage. Overall great buy for the current price of 16.99 (on offer)

Once on these lights are bright. You theb have 4 settings to click through to adjust brightness, aswell as a general on/off and timer modes. If the power is cut when they come on again it’s full power. The control also shows a blue light to confirm power supply
The only thing i wasn’t keen on was the time options. They seem a bit short 2/4/8
Most timers will have 6/8/12. But i’ll have a play about with it to see how it works bette
A really useful plant growing led light system, it is simple and work well. There is a timer and a brightness control, along with some sticky tape to secure them in place. They work off a USB cable with an included adaptor that has a blue light on it during operation. The colour temperature to me seems daylight, which is just right to stimulate plant growth.
A decent light source and fit for it’s purpose.
I have some indoor plants which need to be looked after, I did some research and found this grow light strips. I must say that it did not let me down. My pants are growing well and it does not cost much electricity so it’s great for situation like now (inflation), the only thing I do not like about this product is the length of the cable, but it can be fixed by using extension. All in all, it is a great product that I would recommend.
I have a unit where I have a couple of house plants that seem to hate it there. I realised they probably don’t get enough light so I’ve decided to try these lights. The lights came packed in an easy to recycle box and had simple and easy to follow instructions. Everything was already assembled so I just had to stick the supplied sticky pad to the lights and stick them to the lower shelves of the unit. Then I ran the leads to the socket and plugged them in to the usb plug. There are three brightness settings and three time settings, simple but effective. It all looks so much better now and I hope my plants will grow. Overall it took ten minutes to install and I’m really happy with the results!
