Trouble Shooting on Aytarr Wildlife Camera:
Q: I cannot download the Android APP (Hunting Camera 4K).
A: The Android APP is being updated now, please ask us for the APP installation package.
Q: The APP shows no WiFi connection.
A: Before connecting to the APP, please turn on “WiFi / Bluetooth / Location Service” and turn off “Mobile 4G Data”on your phone. Then follow the steps to connect the camera to the APP.
Q: The camera does not record or does not record at night.
A: 1、Check the SD card. The camera will stop recording when the SD card is full，and ensure that your SD card has been formatted successfully before use.
2、Check the camera setting. Make sure the “IR LED” is not in “OFF” position or you will get dark pictures at night.
3、Check the batteries. Make sure the batteries are not in low battery, There are 2 settings in Low Bat Night Shot,
No IR Led: The camera takes photos and videos without opening IR LEDs at night when battery is quite low.
No Shutting: The camera does not take photos and videos at night when battery is quite low.

simply excellent; the connection with the phone is great; the operation panel is very easy to use; the camera quality is not bad
I haven’t used one of these trail camera’s before but it wasn’t too hard. It says not to use rechargable batteries but you can really, it will just never show 100% as they use a lower voltage than alkaline batteries. It is only 6V so can work with just 4x AA batteries which is handy.
All the settings look a little overwhelming at first but a quick look at the instructions and it’s easy enough. It uses an SD card, but I used a MicroSD in a SD card adapter, it also has a mini USB cable for connecting to PC but I just used a USB SD card reader.
If you want to connect it to your phone you can download the app, I used Game Camera Pro2 from google play, as it had better reviews than the other. Turn on WiFi, Bluetooth and Location on your phone, start the app, press turn on bluetooth then you should find “CAMERA-” (with letters and numbers after Camera-) press on it and press turn on wifi, press wifi settings and there should be a network called AYTARR or similar connect to it with the password 12345678 press back and the camera goes back to app (you may need to press the +) and you can see the video feed. It may ask you to switch networks because it can’t connect to the internet but say no thanks. You can access all the camera’s setting and manually record on the app, also check out the video and pictures you have taken. The range of the Wifi only seems about 8-10 metres so not that far, but can be handy. When you close the app it goes back into normal motion detection mode and after 1 minute it should turn the WiFi off to save battery.
I took the pictures at 5MP and video at 1080p, the defaults are 8MP and 4K30 so I will try them next. Anything over 5MP is interpolated though and I still have a 1080p monitor. I haven’t done a video using night vision yet but it looks pretty impressive on the internal screen when in low light.
The contruction seems pretty robust, it’s plastic but not flimsy. It even has a hole to put a padlock to stop people opening it up, although it wouldn’t stop a determined thief. All in all not a bad camera for capturing wildlife.
I’ve tried and returned a number of the currently available wildlife cameras and while many seem to have similar specifications and designs they have varied considerably. Having tested this thoroughly for about 10 days I am confident that this is a keeper. From the build quality to the image quality, night vision and battery it is a top notch piece of kit. I’ve already recommended it to a couple of friends and will continue to do so. Highly recommended and looking forward to capturing some great wildlife images with this!

The camera works as expected, with reasonable still and video results. I have been unable to connect it to the phone app. by either wifi or blue tooth.
Being able to monitor this camera through Wi-Fi is essential to my application. The QR code links for Android are out of date and don’t work. A search of Playstore comes up with the Hunting 4K app. Bluetooth connects o.k. and turns on the Wi-Fi. Then edit the Wi-Fi in Android to add the password. On returning to the Hunting 4K app, it doesn’t recognize the Wi-Fi. Tried with Trail Camera Pro app, but same result.
(Edit) Before returning the camera, I contacted the manufacturer who replied with a link to Game Camera Pro and the camera is now working as it should.
A great camera that was easy to set up. Motion detection is good as is the picture quality.
The motion detector was very good and the images very clear!
It’s absolutely perfect it was so easy to set up(and trust me I’m definitely NO expert) it was easy to follow the instructions in the book and one small question I had was answered immediately by the sellers who were very supportive and helpfulso if you are looking for an outdoor waterproof camera.. look NO FurtherTHIS IS IT!
This device is an advanced piece of technology with an affordable budget price. For those looking for something similar this is the go-to device. Up for any challenge that you through at it.
The device is easy and very straight forward to setup. Has a multitude of options and settings that you can personalize and adjust towards your liking. I enjoyed it and looking forward to using it!
The only issue I have is using the app to connect to the camera to download the images. If the Bluetooth doesn’t find the camera it sort of freezes the app and you can’t get out of it. I end up powering down my phone and having to restart, but it’s a small inconvenience when I can see the beautiful animals
I have had quite a few of these cameras to track my busy garden. As this has a Bluetooth app it means I don’t have to open up the back to get the SD card. I can see what videos have been recorded with the App on my phone.
Slight downside is the download time especially if you choose more than one video to view. And you have to be pretty close to it for it to work.
The response time could be faster as if for example a fox .. unless it’s hanging about in front of the camera it a very short action then 27 seconds of nothing. Amazing the amount of cats who regard my garden as their walk through route
Comes with all the bells and whistles that the leading competitors come with, yet this little camera is a fraction of the cost.
Bluetooth and app control work well as does the night vision. The resolution is breathtaking as you’d expect with 4K.
Camera is in a very robust case and strap is very good quality too.
Picture reault is awesome and batteries last longer too which is great because you are not worried about changing batteries at short intervals.
Night vision and motion detection is very good and you can set detention too, built in screen result is awesome.
All In all a great product.
I bought this camera as recently we’ve been having issues with fly tipping down the lane. I paid the extra for the 30MP camera mainly and i am not dissapointed! The batteries last longer than i expect, i thought i’d have to change them weekly but they’re lasting way longer. The footage quality is superb. I haven’t had to actually download any yet so i havent tried the wifi function but as soon as i do and get any footage of interest i’ll update this review 🙂
But so far i’m very impressed.
The picture and video quality however is superb so if you don’t want or need sound then this a a really good camera. Easy to set up.
My boy is 21 years old and he loves taking pictures especially animals.I decide to buy one wild camera for him. My boy is very impressed with this camera. It is very easy to use. The images are very clear and the video is so vivid. Especially the night vision is fantastic,my boy enjoys taking pictures these days.
Night vision and motion detection are fine. It’s good at taking pictures when it detects motion.
The only thing I can say negatively is that the video recording starts about 1 second after the action. The moving object may not be visible in the video during this time. But you can see in the picture.
Great well balanced wildlife camera. It has capacity of running 4K video on 30 frames per second and picture quality 30 mega pixels. Which is very high resolution and it also has capability to accept 256gb memory card. Which ideal as high resolution image quality great but it fills up the memory quite fast, so by making the unit accept memory card upto 256gb is great idea, no need often replace or format the memory card.
It also has 42pcs infrared light which makes night vision grey but very clear.
It has three motion detection sensors, two of them located on side angle gives extra cover.
Overall brilliant camera with hight picture quality and accepts hight memory cards.

The item arrived on time and well packaged. It looks a real IP66 so no worries of putting it outside. The range and image quality are very good. Overall satisfied.
I have always wanted a camera like this to capture wildlife and i love it. It has multiple options for either photo / video evidence for capture (or both) and you can amend settings such as video length to your choice. You could mount the camera too depending on what you were hoping to film. It’s simple instructions and set-up means you can get going within a few minutes. I have already captured a greater-spotted woodpecker! 5 stars!
The Aytarr 4K 30MP Wildlife camera is a really impressive device. The camera records 4K Video and snaps pictures at 30MP of resolution. The camera has a 120 viewing radius and very responsive motion sensors. Within fractions of a second of moving in front of the camera, it is recording in 4k.
The camera’s motion sensors are good but you can tweak the sensitivity to suit your specific requirements, you can also adjust loads of other settings such as whether to take videos, pictures or both upon motion activation or how long or what resolution the footage or pictures should be.
The camera is IP66 rated so can handle everything the Scottish countryside can throw at it. It also has WiFi and Bluetooth meaning you don’t have to de-mount it to view or extract the footage, you can simply connect to the device and access the data remotely which is excellent.
The case is strong and robust and overall it is an impressive device. Value for money is good with similar spec cameras costing way more and overall a great device for the price.
This camera came nicely packaged with a set of instructions. You do need a whole bunch of AA batteries. Thankfully there are plenty of good options for alkaline batteries, as well as high capacity rechargeable ones. The manufacturers also suggest using solar power, but I haven’t had a chance to try that yet.
Setting up and use is fairly intuitive. The menu and interface on the back panel is easy to follow. Picture quality is pretty good. Videos are playable using VLC which is my default player on the laptop.
Overall a good experience so far. Nothing to complain about. Hopefully will get some good use out of it.
I bought a cheap Wildlife cam in a closing down sale a few years ago. Wasnt the best but for 20ish it did the job. Used to take it when we went out in the caravan and got some fairly good shots of Otters and Fox etc. It finally gave up the ghost so i decided an upgrade is called for so got this one. Wasnt expecting so much of
an improvement if im honest but boy was i suprised. Have only used it in the garden at the moment as we arent of camping till next month and wanted to test it incase i was going to return it. Im keeping it, photo and video quality are excellent. Waterproofing seems fine and its quite a bit smaller than my other camera.
Im hoping to get some good footage and pics over the summer and will update this review in a few months to better show the cameras abilities. Menu and setup are very easy and having only opened the box and inserted batteries and memory card it was up and running in less than 2 minutes. I did have an issue connecting via app on my Phone but quick browse through the instructions fixed that. All in all its a fair bitmore expensive than my previous camera but the quality of this one is superb.
The build quality is second to none. Going to buy another to set it up in the garden.

The advancement in trail camera technology over the last couple of years had been phenomenal.
This camera I purchased as I wanted something to blend in that was very discreet, as you can see in the video the camera is compact, camouflage and green on the back which certainly helps with this.
Image quality wise 30mp really adds depth of clarity to the images taken and the 0.3 seconds trigger time ensures you capture anything passing by.
Video wise the camera records in 4K which is really helpful, you will need a class 10 U3 memory card for this.
Another important feature for me is durability, as well as being a robust ABS plastic shell the camera is also waterproof and IP66 rated which means it should stay dry in any UK weather.
Overall, a superb camera well worth the investment.
