These security lights are so easy to put up, no wires anywhere and as long as you can find a spot where you’ll get sun on the top solar panel, they don’t need any extra fuss.
The lights are fixed to a wall by screws, included in the packaging, but you could just as easily use 3M tape. The sensor is angled downward and the light produced is bright enough to light up the surrounding area. In darker months these don’t have a huge amount of power, the batteries do seem to be fairly small in terms of keeping a charge while in use. We found they lasted until about 12-1am, but in summer they worked throughout the night.
Overall, though, they do their job well for those who don’t want to install a wired system or can’t because there is no electric near by.
These work a treat, effective and look good on our fencing to light up our drive! Will be buying more!
These lights are amazing, so bright and motion detection is awesome.
Feel cheap and nasty. Light up my garden and drive way quite nicely. Definitely good value for money.
These lights are small in size but large in performance. I have fitted six off these lights around my static caravan, previously it was pitch black when I returned home in late evening, not now, they light up my path all around the caravan, they do an excellent job.
Easy installation, getting the right setting is a bit trial and error, but only the click of a button.
I was sceptical of these at first, as similar types advertised on social media sell for a lot more, so I only bought a couple, then four, then another four!….needless to say our garden is well lit now!
These also work very well after grey cloudy days, i.e….the British summer!
The plastic is brittle one was broken but too much bother to send back to be replaced
These lights a extremely bright. Purchased 3 sets now. Light up my slate path perfectly and bright enough to fully illuminate the path. They stay on all night without any drop in power. 3 are slightly dimmer than the others. Best solar lights I have tried.
We have these on our fence wall out in the back garden.
We have made sure the solar panel is in direct sunlight so it can charge during the day. Then once it starts getting dark they switch on automatically and give off some light.
You can choose one of three modes- auto on/off, dim light sensor and sensor light mode.
A pack of six solar lights. Each works very well.
Perfect size for fence posts very bright light. Different settings available and the motion detector mode is perfect.
Easy to intall and provide sufficient lighting. Love it so much that I ordered another box
Love them security also for my dog and party time
Excellent value compared to the Facebook ad that’s been popping up offering two for 20.
You get more screws then needed and the light is very bright even on dim mode
Living in a country where direct sunlight isn’t on the cards for much of the year made me a little wary about buying these. As it turns out, either they’re still on their original charge or they work!!!!! Easy to install, easy to switch to the mode you want and they light up the garden perfectly at night without creating light pollution for the neighbours
Slight damage to one of the lights back plate on arrival but not really noticeable and an easy fix as broken piece in box. Used to enable use of garden in evening. Motion detection great for when letting dogs out in the dark.
These are very good for the price. I got the 6-pack and it’s really good value for money. They run off of solar power so there’s no messy wiring needed. They take a few minutes to install with only one screw needed to hold them up. They have motion sensors on them which can be used to turn the light on when motion is detected. However, you can turn this off and have the light turn on automatically when it is dark. Once installed, it’s recommended to leave them for a day or so to allow the internal battery to charge up. Overall, these are really handy especially if you have a shed or a big garden and want these scattered around so you have full lighting.
I like this product because last more than 8hrs
I recommend
Very good ordered 6 then I order and other 6 the sensor is grate 3rt option when u not in garde
Very happy purchase, very bright lights, resolved my problem of dark entry poi
These little lights are brilliant. The motion sensors are spot on, and they’re very bright. I’ve had a few neighbours compliment them. Well worth the money, definitely will be buying more.
Great if you don’t want to wire any light up to the main electricity board.
Lights look great and very bright, I cant say for how long but they are doing the job
I’ve not reviewed an item for a while but these are well worth the money and are very good. They’re only small but give off enough light like mini security lights. Packaged securely in a small box. Very impressed and my wife is too who’s normally sceptical when I buy things like this
Very bright light, excellent for fence posts on a driveway
Ideal for smaller gardens or lighting pathways. Great little lights.
Arrived promptly, easy to hang, and give a decent light. We got 2 boxes of 6 to place on slatted fencing in the garden, to get a good light I would recommend a metre or two between lights and they create a lovely effect, any further and you won’t get an all over glow, more motion sensor only which is also good. Am pleased with these, have tried solar lights in the past, string lights and ground ones, feel I wasted my money on them and should have found these sooner!
Great solar lights and great customer service , say now more , please don’t delay ordering if you want solar lights for your home
I got some similar lights last year and they have done a brilliant job at lighting so I was pleased to be offered these
This is a 6 pack of solar lights that are made mainly of plastic . The lights are lightweight but durable.
They comes neatly in a box all individually wrapped for protection there is film over the solar panel bit too.
In the box is the 6 lights ,instructions and screws and plugs .
You need to put these where the sun can shine as they charge by sunlight.
The description on her is really clear but there is 3 modes.
Medium steady light ,dim but then full brightness and off and sensored to full brightness. These are very sensitive to movement and with the 1200mah battery always have charge . They say to last 6 hours full brightness and 10 dim brightness.
The lights are ip65 waterproof and heat and cold resistant
I’d definitely recommend this set the 230 led produce is good distance of ligh
I have so many solar lights around my garden that it’s quite laughable. I couldn’t say no to a few more, besides they don’t last forever and It’s useful to have a few spares. Good value for a pack of six, usual build quality (which seems to be improving over the years). So easy to fit and options are straight forward. My advice for these or any similar lights is not to rush to get them up and working. Leave them somewhere in the full sun (turned off) for a couple of days and let the batteries get to maximum charge, otherwise they will deplete in one day and struggle to charge fully (this goes for any solar lights, not just these). Once fully charged these have worked flawlessly.
A nice pack of 6 solar powered LED lights. Provides great lighting for the garden and lights it up very well.
These have been mounted on the fences around my garden and together with other lighting, keeps my garden brightly lit at night.
The solar panels are slightly slanted, and the lights shine down in an angle, so it forms a prism shape. Make sure to position it well to absorb the most sunlight throughout the day. I have these mounted towards the top of the fence for the most light.
The motion sensor helps if you only want them to light up when it detects motion. It is sensitive enough that it will turn on when I step out into the garden, although my garden isn’t very big, but it is on a six foot fence, so the distance is at least a few metres from I step out.
These are very handy for the garden when it gets dark, especially walking in and out or doing garden chores. Daytime is getting longer now and doesn’t get dark till quite late, so I haven’t been able to find out the full extent of these in terms of duration and how well it charges in winter.
Overall, a nice pack of solar lights for the garden.
Installed on fence for accent lighting. They are very bright and look great. They don’t get full sun all day, but seemed to get enough to come on for at least part of the night. Haven’t confirmed how long they stay on, but they were on for at least a few hours.
Fantastic pack of rather small, but powerful solar sensor lights. Wasn’t expecting much from these when they arrived as I was supprised how small they were. But after fitting them to a few areas outside (easy to screw in to fence panels) and letting them get some sun for a few days I was pleasantly supprised at the amount of light these throw out, and also the sensitivity of the sensor.
Can’t really fault them, for around a fiver a light it seems like reasonable value. Would recommend.
Amazing lights! Perfect to have around the outside of your house…very easy to install…the motion sensor works perfectly…waterproof for sure….solar powered which is amazing because you don’t have to do any wiring…you can install them anywhere you might need some light for safety or security purposes….on a fence, at your front door, at the back of the house, in your garden…anywhere. They are very sturdy…really nice product, amazing value for money. I would recommend these to anyone….definitely worth the money.
I really like these led solar lights , the shape is nice and there are lights on 3 sides.
It was super easy to install and , I have install them on fence.
They work with solar and have 3 modes of lights , light, medium and bright too.
They do turn on automatically when gets dark and have senior so when someone is passing bye they turn on
Will buy another set soo
These arrive will packed in a box and each light is wrapped in bubble wrap with a protective seal on the solar light..these are also supplied with the screws and raw plugs ..
These ones are smaller than others I’ve got.but these look really nice..
Press the black button and lights come on.these are sensor lights so will come on when they detect movement..
The lights are nice and bright.lights up my garden when the dog goes out.
Made of very strong durable plastic..weatherproof..and made to last..
Good value as you get 6 in this pack.
There is a instruction booklet supplied in the box.but who reads instructions.
I’ve got some old lights on my wall at the moment so it will be nice to put these up and have nice new ones.
Sunlight charges these up during the day.and when movement during the night will light up.
There is not a single bad thing I can say about these! Water proof, heat resistant and cold resistant – they’ve been up for over 2 weeks now so can’t say much on longevity but they look promising against the elements so far.
I have mine set up around the house and outside my garage. The one in the picture is outside a shed – I don’t know if it’s clear from the picture but it lights up most of my garden! I no longer have to grab my phone to use my measly torch whenever I’m taking out the bins or need something from outside.
The 3 different lighting modes are very useful – I’ve got mine on the option that only turns on if it detects motion which is amazing when I’m driving in and the house lights up. I got my DIY brother to set it all up but installation was pretty straightforward! No need to fidget with cables and batteries.
A little unexpected treat is that it lights up whenever animals pass by – I’ve seen a sneaky family of foxes visit! As well as my neighbour’s cat which is always a delight.
One of my easiest recommendations!
Pros:
– 3 different modes. I like the highest setting which only turns on when the PIR motion sensor is triggered
– At around 5 a light, this offers great value for money (31.99 at the time of review)
– Good battery capacity (1200mah)
– They are LEDs on the side of the unit so this gives a good wide spread of light when installed
– Easy to install with only one screw per unit required
Cons:
– There was some QC issues for the sealant around the solar panel (please see attached picture). Overall the lights seem well built so I am not overly concerned. Time will tell. If the lights fail due to water ingress then I would come back to update this review.
I hope you find this review helpful.
Great lights that work even when the weather is dull. I have them in my patio and garden . Easy to put up , they come with screws and rawplugs. Great for the price and fast delivery .
This is a great set of motion-sensor, solar wall lights. They are easy to fit, look great and work well – all without needing a cumbersome electric cable.
These led motion detection lights are very bright and super easy to install.
I’ve ordered them for my front garden as they are really great as security lights.
They have 3 light settings, first one is a dim light which will automatically turn on at night and will stay like that till morning and the other 2 are dim and bright lights which will turn on at dark but only when motion is detected.
Time will tell how they are but so far I am really pleased with them. No batteries required, no wiring, just screw them in place and job done.
Comes as a pack of six so there are plenty of them to install around the house, this is a great set, I am really pleased with them.
Very easy to fit with two screws, or I used double sided waterproof sticky pads to attach three to the outside of my greenhouse, so they light up when I approach. I’me very happy with them, and I’ve now lit a dodgy dark area of steps.
These are so simple to use and install. Just remove a unit from it’s packaging and screw into place. Rawl plugs and screws are included.
The Amazon pictures show yellow light but it’s definitely white.
The difference between light brightness is only noticeable between 1 and 2. Not much between 2 and 3. However, 2 is very bright considering the size of the unit.
Nipify 6 pack of LED solar security wall lights come boated with fitting screws and wall plugs and an instruction booklet.
I have ordered similar solar wall lights before and they have been generally very good but the charge does not seem to last very long in the autumn and winter months a few hours in the evening is all they seem to last but I wanted to order some more for decorative purposes as they look good on the top of the fence panels as a garden marker and they can be set up that when you approach them the sensor picks up your movement and makes them brighter, which is handy walking down the garden to light your way.
These have a similar setting by use of the button next to the sensor at the front of the light. There are three settings; the first setting is a steady low glow in the evening and off during the day, the second setting is dim light getting brighter when the sensor is detected and the third setting is the light stays off and comes on only when the sensor is activated. I like the second setting for a low light on all the time at night to provide a garden marker and a brighter light when the sensor is activated.
There are six lights in the box and supplied with fitting screws and wall plugs, I screw them to the top of the fence panels, solar panel uppermost and for me they are great. I am hoping as the spring and summer arrives, more brighter sunlight will give me a longer operating time, that’s the only thing with these lights as opposed to wired in lights, they rely on being charged by sunlight.
These lights arrived well packaged in a sturdy cardboard box with each light individually wrapped in bubble wrap and a protective film on the solar panel. The box also contains screws and plugs for wall mounting the lights and an instruction manual.
The lights are made of plastic and whilst this makes them feel a bit cheap it means that there will be no problems with them rusting when exposed to the elements.
The three lighting modes are in the product description, so I won’t go through them here but they all work as described.
As you can see from the pictures, there is a removable back panel which has four screws. I couldn’t resist taking a look inside and was surprised to find that these lights don’t use the usual AA size Ni-Mh batteries that most solar lights use. Instead, there is a 1200mAh 18650 Li-Ion battery, so this should give plenty of capacity to run the lights when fully charged. I intend to have the lights come on only when they sense motion, so this won’t drain the battery nearly as much as having them in permanent dusk/dawn mode. The manual states that a fully charged battery (8 hours full sunshine) will give 8 hours of light. I have yet to test this.
The PIR sensor is pretty sensitive (detects humans from around 2 metres) and the light stays on as long as it detects motion. It then stays on for a further 20 seconds after it last detects motion.
I could switch the lights on as soon as they arrived, so there was already some charge in the battery. As a test I put one outside above a path at the side of the house that can be quite treacherous when there is no light. It was out for about four hours in weak winter light. After dark I went and took a couple of pictures. One is before the light was triggered and one after. As can be seen, even the light from a single one of these lights is enough to see by.
I haven’t had these lights long enough to comment on longevity or weather resistance, but I will update this review when I have tested them properly in service.
They are not the most decorative lights and look rather functional (a bit like an outdoor bulkhead light) but this is what I was looking for. This, the price and the fact that the lights do what the description says means I’m happy to give them five stars.
