Looks good and arrived promptly. Wanted this for accuracy as I experiment with bread making. The problem I encountered was when measuring small weights say 3g to 7g for yeast and salt. Scale sometimes tends to stick around there before suddenly shooting up to say 20g. I knew it was reading incorrectly as I could see the quantity was excessive.
My solution is to not add directly to whatever your mixing. Weigh it in a separate bowl two or three times to check your getting similar readings and then add to mix.
Apart from that one little quirk it’s good value.
They may be a bit small for standard kitchen use but I use these for my craft projects and they work a treat. Very light, the window showing the weight is bright and easy to see. Very pleased with them.

That is probably written somewhere but I didn’t see it so a pleasant bonus for us “oldies” that were brought up with are are more familiar with pounds and ounces rather than metric.

A tip – dont be tempted to store in your cutlery drawer as i did this and it slid about and got stuck and I had to get someone to lift the worktop to get it out!
These scales are really good. So easy to clean. The best thing for me is that you can use the same bowl from start to finish. When you put the bowl on the scales you press a button and it displays weight back to zero. When you add another ingredient you press the button and goes back to zero. So you can use one bowl for all ingredients. Love it 🙂
These scales are great in every way but one in my experience. When measuring out an item (eg. Cheese) if you put a bit too much on and remove some to get to correct weight, the scales don’t always respond. So I start again. Maybe just my set & it’s not a major problem, just they are more accurate going up than down. Apart from that, they’re nice to look at and neat to store.

The surface of this scale is quite small and so it can be difficult to read the weight if you’re adding an ingredient into a large dish. I had a problem with the ‘reset’ button and so had to start from scratch – not too big an issue.
Scales work well. Big enough for standard kitchen. Can reset eight by placing bowl onto scale and press the on button once for it to recalibrate. Nothing else you want the scales to do for small scale cooking.

This came with a turquoise film which I was super excited about u til I realised it was just the protective sticker XD so the grey is abit boring and it shows every finger print, drop of liquid or food smudge, which hygiene wise is good I guess, but looks grim. Its so easy to use though, and for counting calories it has been a lifesaver, love it, awesome value for money and super easy to store!
Has all the functions you would want, measures in metric of imperial, has zero function so you can discount container weights when doing precise quantities. Clear display. Cleans up well and tucks away in a corner when you are done with it. All good!
I got the chance to review this ACCUWEIGHT digital kitchen scale just in time for my online baking class that I signed up for. The scale itself is very sleek and stylish, it doesn’t take up too much space on my kitchen countertop and it is very intuitive and easy to use. It is powered by two AAA batteries which are included in the set. The scale measures accurately, I have tested it multiple times when preparing different recipes from my course. I really like that you can switch between different units of measurements (lb, g, kg, ml, oz) which is very convenient when following American recipes for example where the ingredients are given in oz. The only downside of this kitchen scale for me is the position and the size of its LED display and the problem is that when I want to measure something in a bigger bowl it’s a bit difficult to read the display. Besides that, I am really glad that I got this kitchen scale and I will continue to use it even after I finish my baking course.

This digital scale is so easy to understand that I didn’t need to read any instruction information before I used it – and I cannot usually do that! Two buttons – on the left is the on/off and to the right is the button which allows you to select which measurement you wish to use, pounds, ounces, grams etc etc. There is even an opportunity to weight liquid, brilliant! The digital display is very easily read.

Lightweight, easy to assemble and works just fine. It uses triple A batteries which is unusual as most weights I’ve used have those small disc batteries – a pair are included anyway. It would’ve been nice if some plastic dishes had come with the weights. I also would’ve liked it if the digital display showed the weight to a decimal point. As it is, it’s fine and very simple to operate, cycling through the various options with just the two buttons. Fine for what it is!

These are a good set of kitchen scales. I got them for measuring the weight of things for eBay and for that it isn’t so good because the size of letters and parcels is too big for the scale. But for the kitchen this is perfect in size and perfect in the way it works too.
It comes with batteries so can work straight away. It has an on-button. This also allows you to reset the scale to 0 if you have a measuring bowl on it or something. And you can press it down for a couple of seconds to turn the scales off too, or just wait for 3-minutes of inactivity at which point it will turn off automatically. The scales also has a unit button so you can switch between units of measurement – g/kg/lb/oz/ml/milk ml.
The measuring scales work well with the digital display being very clear, even in dark environs as the units light up. And the scales look good and are wipe-clean. The scales are small which is suitable for most ingredients in the kitchen, and because it is thin it can be stored easily in an upright position not taking much space. Overall worth 5-stars.

Brushed metal finish means less finger prints or mark even when using it in the kitchen. The scale is sensitive and can weight up to 3kg which is plenty for day to day baking or cooking. The display is back lit so can be used in dim light but at some angle it is not easy to read for some reason. Just turn your head a fraction and the number appears again. Most likely just the limitation of Liquid crystal display ?
These scales are handy for anyone who regularly cooks in the kitchen – I have a set of scales already but was keen to try these as they looked really smart, I love the stainless steel design as it wipes down easily. The scales are accurate and they are very sensitive which means I can easily see weight changes. The LCD display is clear, bright and easy to read. There are two working buttons on the scales, one which switches them on and off/take and another which changes the scales settings. The scales are excellent value for money and have performed well so far, they will come in handy. Small and compact design means they are easy to store away without taking away too much space. This is a very nice and useful kitchen scale, it is quite accurate also as I was measuring the weight of the 1 coin which is 8.75 grams and the scale displayed 9 grams which is accurate enough for anything I might have to measure in the kitchen.
I was surprised to see that this scale is using two AAA batteries and I am also glad as they are more common and always tend to have some of them around. The scale is super easy to use, after placing it on the table, press the power button and this electronic scale will power on with the weight automatically adjusted at 0, ready to use.
It is quite small and very lightweight so it is easy to store when not in use. A great help in the kitchen!
Compact and easy to keep clean with a seamless stainless steel measuring surface, these represent excellent value for money. The weighing is accurate and you can measure in either metric or imperial amounts. You can weigh very small amounts (1g upwards) up to 5kg or equivalent. You can also measure both solids and liquids, and zero between amounts using the tare switch on the left. The display is clear, if small.
Overall, unless you want to use large receptacles for weighing that may obscure the scales or be unstable, these are a great buy.
These scales are exactly what I needed. I already had a set for the kitchen but needed a set for craft. These are perfect as they wipe clean so easily. I need to weigh precise amounts of 2 part resin in varying amount, sometimes I just need a tiny amount, other times I need loads. These scales are brilliant as I can put the mixing cup on them and set to zero, I then pour in part one of my resin, I then calculate how much part two I need and reset the scales to zero with the cup and first part still on them, then I pour the second part of resin. It’s so much easier being able to zero them mid mix.
They measure in 1 gram increments which is fine for most cooking etc.
I can change from metric to imperial and from they even measure ml.
They are nicely made, and the screen is easy to see, I like that they use real batteries (that are included) and not hard to find ones. They measure all the way up to 5kg so a big Christmas cake should be the proverbial “piece of cake” All for less than a tenner, brilliant.

his kitchen scale looks really beautiful, it got shiny stainless steel finish, its style match my other stainless steel kitchenwares, however its material is actually plastic so it might not be as durable as real stainless steel
this scale uses 2 aaa batteries, that’s what i’m more preferred than cell batteries, it got longer battery life and i could use rechargable batteries after the included batteries used up
the lcd screen got backlight, it’s easier to read in low light environment, but its downside is that i could only read from the top, but not from other angle, it’s a bit inconvenient for me
i like the buttons are push button rather than touch buttons, so they are much responsive, especially in kitchen where my hands may wet or dirty, touch buttons would unresponsive most of the time
no problem in using the scale, response is quite fast, reading is accurate, no complaint on the function
however, my next complaint is still the lcd screen, besides the viewing angle is too narrow, the lcd screen is fragile, it got scratched badly after i wiped it with just a microfibre cloth, anyway, the scratch may not obvious if i don’t look closer

This is the best kitchen scale i had so far. Beautiful design, one plate so it is super easy to keep it clean without worry that water will goes into places which shouldn’t. Nice brushed stainless steel kept in minimalist and simple design which works. Scale is very sensitive and detects immediately weight. Maybe not seen very well on video but on live digits on LCD display are very clear to read. Two fully functioning buttons to operate, left for tare and ON/OFF, on right to change scale. Very first time i have scale where you actually can measure liquid and to be honest i did not believed that until i got one. Like on picture i took just over 200ml of water and scale measure it exactly on point. It is good enough for me. This definitely going to be my every day use kitchen scale from now on. This is a compact kitchen scale, although it has uses beyond the kitchen. I think it’s very good. Let’s look at its virtues:
* It’s accurate. That’s the most important thing, after all. I found it to agree within 1% with my other scales and a set of weights.
* The display, although not very large, is bright and easy to read. It’s backlit, which certainly helps with legibility.
* It’s very light, and its accuracy doesn’t seem to be compromised if the surface it’s used on isn’t perfectly flat.
* Unlike some scales, which use coin cells, it comes with a pair of easy-to-replace AAA batteries.
* It has all the usual add-and-weigh functions, plus the ability to work with Imperial or Metric measurements.
There are some things you might want to consider, though. They’re not faults as such, just features:
* It’s not big enough to support a large mixing bowl, such as you might use for cake-making.
* This is a quirky one. It can measure the volume in mL of milk, but the density of different type of milk — from gold-top to skimmed — varies considerably. I’ve no idea what type of milk the scale is set up for
* The stainless-steel top comes with a removeable blue protective plastic film. That’s because it’s likely to get scratched in transit or in use. If this bothers you, then you might prefer a glass-topped scale. On the other hand, you might prefer a metal top to a glass one that could shatter if the scale were dropped.
* It can measure in pounds or ounces but not both. This means that if you put a 1 lb weight and an 8 oz weight on it and select pounds display, it reads 1.5 lb. If you select ounces display it shows 24 oz. What it does not do is display 1 lb 8 oz, like my other electronic scale does. Some people won’t care about this while for others it will be a deal-breaker. But it’s as well to be aware.
All things taken into account, this is a cracking little set of scales at a very good price (at the time of review).

These are a good set of kitchen scales. I got them for measuring the weight of things for eBay and for that it isn’t so good because the size of letters and parcels is too big for the scale. But for the kitchen this is perfect in size and perfect in the way it works too.
It comes with batteries so can work straight away. It has an on-button. This also allows you to reset the scale to 0 if you have a measuring bowl on it or something. And you can press it down for a couple of seconds to turn the scales off too, or just wait for 3-minutes of inactivity at which point it will turn off automatically. The scales also has a unit button so you can switch between units of measurement – g/kg/lb/oz/ml/milk ml.
The measuring scales work well with the digital display being very clear, even in dark environs as the units light up. And the scales look good and are wipe-clean. The scales are small which is suitable for most ingredients in the kitchen, and because it is thin it can be stored easily in an upright position not taking much space. Overall worth 5-stars.

Then I remembered I have new ones. Bingo.
Take 2 AA batterys works well and checked against a few items to check the weight which was correct.
You can change the setting at a press of a button.
Also saves your batteries as it switches itself off when it’s not in use.
Brushed metal finish means less finger prints or mark even when using it in the kitchen. The scale is sensitive and can weight up to 3kg which is plenty for day to day baking or cooking. The display is back lit so can be used in dim light but at some angle it is not easy to read for some reason. Just turn your head a fraction and the number appears again. Most likely just the limitation of Liquid crystal display ?
These scales are handy for anyone who regularly cooks in the kitchen – I have a set of scales already but was keen to try these as they looked really smart, I love the stainless steel design as it wipes down easily. The scales are accurate and they are very sensitive which means I can easily see weight changes. The LCD display is clear, bright and easy to read. There are two working buttons on the scales, one which switches them on and off/take and another which changes the scales settings. The scales are excellent value for money and have performed well so far, they will come in handy. Small and compact design means they are easy to store away without taking away too much space. Recommended.
This is a very nice and useful kitchen scale, it is quite accurate also as I was measuring the weight of the 1 coin which is 8.75 grams and the scale displayed 9 grams which is accurate enough for anything I might have to measure in the kitchen.
I was surprised to see that this scale is using two AAA batteries and I am also glad as they are more common and always tend to have some of them around. The scale is super easy to use, after placing it on the table, press the power button and this electronic scale will power on with the weight automatically adjusted at 0, ready to use.
It is quite small and very lightweight so it is easy to store when not in use. A great help in the kitchen!
Compact and easy to keep clean with a seamless stainless steel measuring surface, these represent excellent value for money. The weighing is accurate and you can measure in either metric or imperial amounts. You can weigh very small amounts (1g upwards) up to 5kg or equivalent. You can also measure both solids and liquids, and zero between amounts using the tare switch on the left. The display is clear, if small.
Overall, unless you want to use large receptacles for weighing that may obscure the scales or be unstable, these are a great buy.
These scales are exactly what I needed. I already had a set for the kitchen but needed a set for craft. These are perfect as they wipe clean so easily. I need to weigh precise amounts of 2 part resin in varying amount, sometimes I just need a tiny amount, other times I need loads. These scales are brilliant as I can put the mixing cup on them and set to zero, I then pour in part one of my resin, I then calculate how much part two I need and reset the scales to zero with the cup and first part still on them, then I pour the second part of resin. It’s so much easier being able to zero them mid mix.
They measure in 1 gram increments which is fine for most cooking etc.
I can change from metric to imperial and from they even measure ml.
They are nicely made, and the screen is easy to see, I like that they use real batteries (that are included) and not hard to find ones. They measure all the way up to 5kg so a big Christmas cake should be the proverbial “piece of cake” All for less than a tenner, brilliant.

this scale uses 2 aaa batteries, that’s what i’m more preferred than cell batteries, it got longer battery life and i could use rechargable batteries after the included batteries used up
the lcd screen got backlight, it’s easier to read in low light environment, but its downside is that i could only read from the top, but not from other angle, it’s a bit inconvenient for me
i like the buttons are push button rather than touch buttons, so they are much responsive, especially in kitchen where my hands may wet or dirty, touch buttons would unresponsive most of the time
no problem in using the scale, response is quite fast, reading is accurate, no complaint on the function
however, my next complaint is still the lcd screen, besides the viewing angle is too narrow, the lcd screen is fragile, it got scratched badly after i wiped it with just a microfibre cloth, anyway, the scratch may not obvious if i don’t look closer

This is the best kitchen scale i had so far. Beautiful design, one plate so it is super easy to keep it clean without worry that water will goes into places which shouldn’t. Nice brushed stainless steel kept in minimalist and simple design which works. Scale is very sensitive and detects immediately weight. Maybe not seen very well on video but on live digits on LCD display are very clear to read. Two fully functioning buttons to operate, left for tare and ON/OFF, on right to change scale. Very first time i have scale where you actually can measure liquid and to be honest i did not believed that until i got one. Like on picture i took just over 200ml of water and scale measure it exactly on point. It is good enough for me. This definitely going to be my every day use kitchen scale from now on. Very happy with product, thanks.
This is a compact kitchen scale, although it has uses beyond the kitchen. I think it’s very good. Let’s look at its virtues:
* It’s accurate. That’s the most important thing, after all. I found it to agree within 1% with my other scales and a set of weights.
* The display, although not very large, is bright and easy to read. It’s backlit, which certainly helps with legibility.
* It’s very light, and its accuracy doesn’t seem to be compromised if the surface it’s used on isn’t perfectly flat.
* Unlike some scales, which use coin cells, it comes with a pair of easy-to-replace AAA batteries.
* It has all the usual add-and-weigh functions, plus the ability to work with Imperial or Metric measurements.
There are some things you might want to consider, though. They’re not faults as such, just features:
* It’s not big enough to support a large mixing bowl, such as you might use for cake-making.
* This is a quirky one. It can measure the volume in mL of milk, but the density of different type of milk — from gold-top to skimmed — varies considerably. I’ve no idea what type of milk the scale is set up for
* The stainless-steel top comes with a removeable blue protective plastic film. That’s because it’s likely to get scratched in transit or in use. If this bothers you, then you might prefer a glass-topped scale. On the other hand, you might prefer a metal top to a glass one that could shatter if the scale were dropped.
* It can measure in pounds or ounces but not both. This means that if you put a 1 lb weight and an 8 oz weight on it and select pounds display, it reads 1.5 lb. If you select ounces display it shows 24 oz. What it does not do is display 1 lb 8 oz, like my other electronic scale does. Some people won’t care about this while for others it will be a deal-breaker. But it’s as well to be aware.
All things taken into account, this is a cracking little set of scales at a very good price (at the time of review).
