Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersActiv Era Luxury Air Bed is Probably the Best Airbed We Have Ever Owned!! It’s Very Comfortable and it Stays inflated Over Night , With No Sinking to the Floor !! It Takes about 4 to 5 Minutes to Fully inflate but Less to Deflate !! It is Big !! But Comfy ..and the Best thing is the Built in plug Inflation Devise !!

Recently arrived, impressed by the seemingly high quality materials and construction. So far, sleep is good despite getting used to the built-in pillow. If there is a negative point it is the weight – surprisingly heavy but that would seem to reflect the solidity of the good.

Totally love this product! It is so easy inflate and so comfortable! But at my age I just found it a bit hare to fold it properly to put it back into the box for storage when not in use. But otherwise….. Yes I would totally recommend this product.

This is easily the best air bed I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning. Friends and family love it, it has a built in pump, easily storable, definitely worth it. Importantly, it doesn’t deflate while you sleep, and it’s so deep it’s basically like sleeping on an actual bed.

I bought this air bed until our new bed arrives!
I blew it up last night, so far so good so we will be sleeping in it tonight so hopefully won’t loose air!! But I have bought air beds in the past and absolutely useless but friends of ours recommended this one.

Really good product inflates really quickly with the internal pump and even with a portable pump we took camping it still didn’t take too long! Very good nights sleep and didn’t lose to much air through the night just a very small top up needed each day before using it again. Would highly recommend!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersInflated with the power cable within minutes. Deflated within minutes. So comfortable! Didn’t deflate during the 3 nights we used it. Felt like a normal bed. Used to use air beds which deflated every night, this is absolute game changer whilst camping! Such a comfortable sleep! The pillow at the end is a bit annoying that is literally the only downfall but I put my pillows just below it so I didn’t mind too much.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am very pleased with the quality of the seller’s service. I ordered the mattress a little over a month ago, used it only 4 times and unfortunately a crack appeared. The deadline for return has passed but the seller sent a new one without any problem. I appreciate it very much. This is my second mattress from this company and both customer service and quality are top notch.

Mattress is very comfortable and easy to fold. For that price this item is excellent!

Had the same one before, took it to my parents house and bought the exact some replacement as it is that good. Much better than the popular Intex brand, which I’ve had to replace like 3 times because they kept deflating.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhen it’s inflated it really is quite comfortable…. But if only it would STAY inflated! Followed instructions on inflating a few hours before use, then reinflating just before use and allowing for stretching etc, but during the night I would wake up every few hours with my backside touching the floor through the mattress and have to reinflate…. 3 or 4 times a night….. for 4 nights in a row! Not good enough I’m afraid, sending it back for a refund.
    Edit –
Was contacted by seller (One Retail Group) who agreed to provide me another at the same ‘Prime Day’ discount, this one has stayed fully inflated for a two night camp out test on our living room floor (fully inflated for approx 42 hrs) so I’m changing my rating for the mattress to 4 stars.

Used for six days camping. Pumped it up once and never went down like othe inflatables. Used a duvet on to with sheets.
The flocked top kept us warm when in rain. Excellent product. Also very good deflation switch. Deflates quickly.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersIn the past 40 plus years I have spent thousands and thousands on beds for several homes in the USA and the UK.

I needed an inflatable bed that would fit in an attic room as the stair config’ won’t allow much up there (twists / turns / low ceiling / less than half width of normal stairs)…

I purchased this bed in ‘King Size’ – followed the instructions (inflate, leave it a bit, inflate again) and it turns out to be the most comfortable bed I have slept on in absolutely years.

Since the date of purchase I’ve only had to adjust the inflation (inflate a bit more) around every 14 days or so.

My original intention was to use this bed whilst work was being carried out in other rooms, decided to keep it as my main bed as it’s that good.

Yup, sounds a bit sad I know, sleeping on an inflatable bed etc…
But as I said above, I’ve spent thousands and thousands on beds over the years and none have come close to the comfort this bed gives me.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBlown away it inflated in like 4 mins, and boy is she comfy personally i love the pillow inbuilt as i sleep with 4 pillows on a normal night. Only negative is the bag it comes with is small and its a mission to fit in, so its half in half out. Not tested over night so cant comment on its longevity but great first impression. Excited to take it camping in 2 week’s time.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersGreat product, one personal dislike. The product comes with a built in pillow, which I find too high and would prefer it to be without a pillow, so I can use a pillow to suit myself. Luckily I am only 5’6″ so can just about manage to use the bed without the pillow with my feet hanging over the end.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersThis king size inflatable bed exceeded our expectations. Bought as a pack away bed while we carry out house renovations. It’s quick to inflate, holds good air pressure even when left inflated for over a week. It’s really comfortable probably better than our main furniture. I’d be happy sleeping on it permanently. It would definitely make a great guest bed I f you didn’t have a spare room. The pump works in revers to deflate allowing you to fold & pack it away flat. It’s made from thick PVC so it’s quite bulky & heavy when deflated. I’ve not tried to get it back in the original box, but it comes with a protective nylon bag. I’d probably store it in a small suitcase eventually.
The internal construction must be quite clever, the bed is firm all over you can actually sit in the edge of it like a normal mattress. When you move around in the night it doesn’t cause discomfort to your partner as it appears to be independently supported all over.
A few things to note. It has a small pillow riser at the top of the bed so if you don’t like a high neck support like my wife. Your going to need a thin pillow. The other think to note is, this is an air bed. If the room is cold the air in the mattress is going to be cold & you will loose body heat underneath where you lay. We added a mattress protector & a blanket for insulation after the first night & it’s fine now.
Over all very comfortable & for a little over 100 quid a great cheep solution for a great nights sleep.
Highly Recommend. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy another if required.
I just wish they made sofas too.

Good size double bed. High enough not to give trouble getting out of. No trouble inflating or deflating.
Couldn’t fold it small enough to go back in its box. But it comes with a bag to put it in.
Pretty heavy to handle in the box. Easier to move around once it was inflated. Really handy for extra visitors.

We bought this as we are expecting a full house at Christmas. When fully inflated it is orthopaedic in the firmness of its support. Having given it a full road-test my only complaint is that the built-in pillow is too hard and I would prefer not to have that and to use a normal pillow. I didn’t have to add any pressure during the night and the bed was still firm and comfortable in the morning. The built-in compressor inflates the bed quickly if a little noisily. Deflation is also very quick using the compressor leaving the bed absolutely flat for folding up. We left the bed inflated in a spare room for about a fortnight with no significant loss of pressure, although the instructions warn of this possibility.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReplaced one with faulty motor and very satisfied now.
    Pros:
Most comfortable bed to sleep on. I bought one of these beds 2 years ago and found it to be simple to use and very comfortable. Think I may have just been unlucky with previous ones but time will tell.
    However:
    Cons:
Only used very infrequently but within 2 years it started to deflate completely overnight – presumably a leak but untraceable. Still decided to replace with the same, despite this and some other negative reviews, given comfort.
New one used for approximately 7 nights and then motor ceased to work so unable to inflate / deflate. Returned.
Very disappointed and now debating whether just unlucky with this one or product merely no longer up to standard.

  30. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

Easily inflated in just under 3 mins as suggested. Deflated slightly after first a couple of days without use, again, as the instructions said it would.
It deflated very slightly after 2 days use by 2 people weighing in at a combined weight of 240kg so I really don’t think that is too bad considering.
There was slight “roll together” but as a temporary guest bed it was fine. It deflated very quickly but folding it up to fit the bag has become a challenge but not an issue. All I need now is some bedding that will stay in place since its so deep a fitted sheet didn’t work and a flat sheet didn’t stay in place, I shall try stitching some elastic to the sheet corners for next time.
All in all, you can’t beat value for money and ease of storage.

I used this for camping and it’s great. Sadly we didn’t have electricity on our pitch and weren’t able to check how quickly this inflates with electricity but it was pretty quick (for my husband) to inflate manually with a pump.
It is incredibly comfortable and is worth topping it up every couple of days if you feel any deflation in the mattress to keep the firmness in place. The previous mattress was a camping mattress and needed a daily top up. It also deflated to complete flatness on one side, the Active Era Luxury mattress is significantly better for comfort and staying inflated compared to a standard camping mattress.

This is a great airbed. The built in pump (AND cable storage!) work great to both inflate and deflate the bed. As advised in the manual, inflate the bed, then give it some time to let the hot air cool down, then top it up and the bed remains firm all night easily. I don’t understand why it comes with a pillow since frankly I’d rather use my own, but it’s not the end of the world. I can fold the bed up easily enough, but it folds up “BIG” and for some crazy reason, the bag they gave us to store the bed in, is the same size as my old double bed’s one and even worse, it’s not as well made!

This is THE best airbed we have had and that is both from experience and everyone that has says it’s the best they have used aswell.

Had a small puncture (entirely my fault), got in contact with the seller and their customer service was exceptional. They have already sent out some patches for me to repair (FOC). If the patch doesn’t work I will be getting another one regardless.

The easy of use and quality of the bed are excellent however i bought a kingsize, Ive slept on a number of camp beds and lilos etc but this one made me ache all over especially my back.
If you are on the taller size and your feet tend to go yo the end of the bedits raised not as high as the pillow but it does lift your feet and thats not comfortable at all.

Ive used it approximately 20 times in a living room and never had a good night.

yes it is fairly heavy for what it is, but for me it just shows the quality of the material used, if you are looking for a large, sturdy and easy air bed then I would recommend this one

    5/5

so the built in pump is very effective for inflation and deflation (deflation in particular is great, almost vacuum packing the bed and making it easy to store)

it is loud though, think, large hairdryer loud. Luckily it only lasts 5 mins to full inflate. The bed itself is study and large, the thickness is great, as if it loses pressure overnight, it is still fully usable and comfortable. We use it as a spare bed for guests.

THe built in pillow rudge isnt really for use as a pillow, please have extra pillows anyway, but puts you in a nice sleep position.

We have a cat who has jumped on and off, and it hasnt punctured, not sure it would resist a scratch, but its certainly well built enough for regular use.

I bought this because I had a lot of people coming to stay. After they had gone, I left it for 8 weeks and I was very impressed that it had hardly lost any air during all that time. I would have preferred it without the raised pillow because putting a real pillow on the bed raises it up too high. All in all, it was very good value.

Easy and quick to blow up with the built in pump. The first one we received worked great for a few weeks while we slept on it, but started losing air. We got a free replacement without any issues and the new one has worked perfectly. It fits perfectly in the storage bag as well.
We’ve slept very well on it and it doesn’t make much noise when turning around as well which is a huge bonus.

Air beds have come on a long way from the hideous things we took camping in the 70s – this blows itself up, it’s far bigger and higher than you’d expect (a good thing!) and it’s basically as firm and comfortable a nights sleep as a 1000 mattress! Sucks itself down again and can be packed away reasonably small, just don’t bother trying to put it back in its bag (!) because you won’t get it in. Perfect for when you’ve run out of guest beds! Only downside is the motor doesn’t turn itself off, you have to listen to the noise, but it’s only 2-3 minutes to go up or down anyway:

    Hi,
This product is a quality one.
Loses very little air over time which is very normal with any airbeds, perfect height however is not all great.
Downside is build in pillows. If you like tall and ferm pillow than is for you.

  49. CarmaNmotkp says:

Very easy to use and set up, can take a little bit of time to put it away.

However it is a strong air matress and quite comfortable, although if you use it for more than one night you will need to re inflate it.

I brought a king and think that I received a double after measuring it. I did contact seller and they informed me that it would gradually increase to the size of a king after a few nights. Used it for 10days and then again later on for another week but it still did not reach king size however it did expand a bit.

Although it’s not as large I would still recommend as it is very comfy and easy to use and the seller was very polite.

Needed a double bed quickly that was easy to inflate and deflate but would stay up for a long time.

With a built in inflator It says it inflates within 3 minutes which I doubted, well it certainly does, and deflates just as swiftly, if not quicker.

Really comfortable however did buy a topper for it which made it fine for many many nights on the trot.

    Excellent VFM

I didn’t like the plasticky smell of this product when using it. Maybe the smell could be masked if it has bed sheets on top of it, or if it has been out for some months. Every time I used this, the smell gave me a headache and it was inflated and kept in a room for at least three weeks. In that time, the plasticky smell did not recede.
The cloth material on the top of the bed is also a dust and lint magnet and can pick up smudges and visible dirt. I recommend a topper to be used with this.
It is easy to inflate and deflate, and when lying on it, it feels like any other kind of bed, but sitting on the edge is uncomfortable and feels wobbly, even when fully inflated.
Overall though, no inflatable bed is perfect, and does the job. I hope to use this with guests but when I do, I will cover it up properly so the horrible smell is not detectable.

Great size, i bought this as a spare for when ppl stay beyond our bedroom capacity. Also to use when camping.

It goes up quickly and down quickly. Due to the way the air is sucked out this enables it to fold back to a small size. It comes with a draw string bag that is very generous in size. But due to the way air ia sucked out it can easily fold back to original size and can go back in the box if you want.

Used it 5 times, no jumping no abuse and it started at first to leak a bit of air. Placed a patch and 3rd usage, after one night only it teared completely alongside where the material is shaped in a curve and embossed.
Very disappointed as it happened only 1 week after the 1 month warranty / return policy expired.
Wasted money, was faulty, it ripped along the round lines, where it is embossed.

Flawed design - 1 month and it splitted used just 5 times

  60. WardBuckner says:

This is a big air mattress, it’s thick, it’s big and definitely a worthy substitute of any quality bed out there. Comes with a built-in pump to inflate/deflate, also has the normal inflate/deflate air outlet. Curves up at the top end of the bed which is handy if you have no pillows at hand. The top layer of the bed is a blue soft alacantra or suede type material which is nice. When inflated, its the size of a normal double divan base. Deflation is very simple you can either just use the built-in pump or together with the outlet open.

The bad bits : I’ve noticed it deflates ever so slightly, not that it deflates to the point where your sinking in but ever so slightly. Thought it’s worth the mention

The carry bag, it’s so cheap and flimsy it ripped apart on 2nd or 3rd time. Not an issue with the bed itself but when your spending 119.00 you expect something better.

Apart from those two issues everything else is perfect.

  61. BridgettMcGrude says:

     United Kingdom

This bed was chosen to keep a guest with allergies off the floor and away from the carpet and it’s height certainly does that, we left it inflated for around 3-4 days with a small sag by the end of it, but the built in pump means this shouldn’t affect you through a night.

Folding it isn’t any easier than a normal mattress with the small inconvenience of the built in pump adding bulk of centre.

For its price its good as a temporary bed, or for those who don’t have a spare room to dedicate as a guest room but still want the option to have people stay over.

Otherwise if you are looking for a full or semi-permanent bed replacement I would suggest looking at one with automatic reinflation and softness settings, which aren’t too much more expensive than this one but would be worth the investment for more regular use.

It would be more convenient for the power cable to be at the head of the bed, not the foot.

That’s it for criticism though. Honestly, other than that, this bed does exactly what it says on the tin.

You plug it in and it inflates in 2-3 minutes and then it stays up pretty well. My niece can’t weigh more than 40 kg (how much does an 11 year old weigh??), but we only topped up once during her 5 day stay. And it’s easy to deflate and stores in the suppled bag.

As an occasional spare bed it’s perfect.

Most comfortable inflatable mattress I ever tried. Feels more like a normal bed. Super comfy and easy to use. Size-wise the super king size is really more like a double. The single is also extremely comfy but a little narrow – I would often wake up with sore wrists where they hung over the edge.
I recommend a mattress topper if sleeping on it regularly for true comfort.
My single lasted a good long time with regular use.

Really pleased with the airbed. Whilst waiting for a new bed we slept on it for a week, and it was great, very comfortable easy toinflate and a good height.
Going forward it will do very nicely for visitors and thus avoid having to waste a room with a bed that’s hardly used.
Folds back in its bag very easily and so is a portable option if you are visiting someone without a spare bed.

Bought this for my husband and myself to use in our tent. Best night’s sleep we’ve had camping. Inflates so easily – just plug in and switch on. Needed another inflate after first night (but hadn’t gone down too much) but we didn’t worry as instructions told us this might happen.
Really comfortable and both of us are ‘larger sized’!
Not deflated yet, but wanted to review at this stage as we have not slept as well on any other camping trip. Def worth it and great to have as an extra for guests at home etc.
Only downside is that it has an integral pillow which isn’t comfortable. It inflates with the bed and is too small. The angle is awkward. It would be better if this had no pillow and was flat and you could use your own.

    Such a comfy sleep!

Bought this for staying at my mum’s. Delivery to Algarve no problem.. inflates and deflates really quickly and even fits back in the bag! Great size and comfy to sleep on. Really good alternative to a fixed piece of furniture such as a sofa bed.

I bought this to keep in my garden office for occasional guests, as my house is small. I am so pleased with it as it is easy to inflate and deflate- but not to fold back into a small.space. I store it in one of the cupboards in the office.

I slept on it for 3 nights during this extremely hot weather, with the windows open – very comfortable in itself and comfortable nights sleep. I love the fact it is so high of the ground- especially as I have dodgy knees- which makes it easy to get in and out. It needed a little bit of a blast to firm up each night, but otherwise holds its shape well.

Extremely comfortable and easy to use, thoroughly recommend.

Allow my wife who is in need of knee replacement to still go camping (as it is so high).
Very comfortable even for two (relatively) large people.
Fits in both a four person tent well and even a large pop up tent.
Highly recommended for a good nights sleep.

Decent air bed, it did lose air and needed to be topped up every 2-3 days but this posed no problems with the built in pump. We put a memory foam mattress topper on and found it to be extremely comfortable. Used it for 10 days camping, despite having an ongoing back problems for the last 15 years I still managed to get a greats night sleep and woke up feeling fresh every morning.

Very easy to inflate. Takes 3 minutes as it says on instructions. When you first use it, Inflate 6 hours before bedtime then inflate again just before bed. The bed has a very good height (not too low). I add a little air to the bed once a week which is sufficient. I don’t like the built in pillow, I use my own. All in all a very good buy. I recommend it.

Blow up bed 6 hrs before use, then once more.
