Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis bed is used by my step-daughter twice a month. Is very comfortable and inflates/deflates in 2minutes. Folds compactly for storage in its own bag.
Very satisfied with this product and would highly recommend

Easy and quick inflation and deflation. Easy to fold fits into storage bag with ease. Brought this for my stepson who is over 6ft tall. Holds and supports his weight really well, doent deflate like most airbeds when sleeping on them. Great buy really recomend it.

Very disappointed this bed was for occasional guest use and failed after very minimal use. I have reported to manufacturer and see what happens. My guest was left with a very poor night.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPurchased the air bed at end of march,as I use it at weekends, easy to use and great sleep. Unfortunately 3 months later the motor stopped while I was deflating it. Contacted the company, explained what happened, after 3 corresponding emails about an hour later got email stating that a replacement will be sent out in few days. Great customer Service.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis air mattress is superb. I love the height, so much nicer than sleeping on the average “low to the ground” air mattresses that I’ve used before. The comfort level of this is A+. It made my camping trip so much more enjoyable. I did have to add more air into the mattress 4 days into my camping trip, but that’s fairly standard for air mattresses I think. Will definitely be pulling this out for when guests come to stay, it’s that comfortable. Will be purchasing another one or two. Highly recommend!

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI’m plus sided and I have knee problems so I can’t do floor/low camp beds. I was super worried about using an air mattress but I used this Active Era one last summer for 2 weeks in Europe.

I was amazed at how comfortable it was (I did get cold at night but our tent didn’t have an inner so that was part of the issue. The “pillow” isn’t good enough on it’s own but did help feel more comfortable.

It did need a brief 30 second top up most nights but more due to the tent getting very hot/cold throughout the day. The pump is actually powerful enough to pump it up even while layin on it (in case you worry it drops a lot in the night) but I didn’t need to do this. It needs to be plugged in but has a longish cord. Packs up in to a good bag but isn’t light so more for car camping.

It’s 53cm high – so about a average/low bed height – it sags a bit in the middle while you sit on it but not a huge amount.

The max weight is 249 kg and it definitely comfortably takes that (we even tried with 2 people laid on it to test – although it’s too small for 2).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis was very easy to set up and once inflated actually is very comfortable to sleep on. The only issue I think is that you do have to keep topping up air due to weight distribution of a person. I have noticed if you’re on the heavier side you will need to top air up after 1 -2 sleep uses but if your on the lights side. Air tops will be a bit more few and far between. Despite this, it is a good choice for someone staying over.

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersUsed this when we had a guest staying with us for Christmas. It is very easy to inflate and deflate (with the built in pump). I particularly like the built-in pocket to hide the plug and cable away. This cable is not very long (approx 80cm), so you may need an extension lead unless your wall socket is very close.

It was used for about 14 days without any issue, just requiring the occasional inflation most evenings (which is recommended by the instructions). Our guest likes the mattress VERY firm so I don’t think you would have to top it up as often if you prefer a softer mattress.

Our guest was an elderly relative and she was able to get in and out of bed without any trouble (very little sagging whilst sitting on the side of the mattress).

The built-in pillow is very low, so you will probably still need a pillow for maximum comfort.

Instructions are clear, with a video to watch for both inflation and deflation. Comes with a large size storage bag which is easy to use when you want to put the mattress away after use.

I will be buying the double size to take with us for our next trip. Excellent!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value temporary bed

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersGot this as a temporary solution while waiting for new bed/mattress to arrive. After 3 weeks of use can honestly say I was a little sad to see it packed away. I ordered a single bed mainly to save space as I have just moved into a Flat. I did however use a King size duvet set as I had already used this while staying in a rented Flat and didn’t want to fork out for a Single set which would only get packed away once the new bed arrived. This actually turned out to be a good move as it meant the King size duvet overlapped on both sides (much appreciated during the very cold spell we had in December!). I did however buy a single sheet together with a mattress topper as I’d read other reviews advising this was a good idea due to the bed being made from pvc and would therefore feel strange without the additional cover/s. No problems encountered with air leakage – I think I only topped up the air once during the near 3 weeks I used it and doing that is very easy using the mains plug provided. Would also add that I am 6ft tall and had no issues with the bed being too small. i have no hesitation in recommending this product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got 2 for guests staying for week. Both said they were great and have asked for details to purchase for themselves. You DO need to follow the instructions – allow 1-2 hours and the top-up before sleeping. And the vinyl does stretch a little first night or two, so there will be a bit of firmness loss. But by night 3 this no longer happened. Highly recommend!

I used it in the back bedroom when I had Covid-19 and it was really comfortable.
The only problem I had was the raised end that supposed to be a pillow was too low and it made with a pillow to high.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve only had it a few days but I’m blown away by how comfortable the bed is. Takes some time to get the optimum inflation for personal preference but it’s so quick to inflate I don’t mind enduring the noise for the 2 minutes it takes to fully inflate or occasional squeeky noise as I turn. Do be mindful of condensation and air it every day.

I’ll update the review if anything goes wrong over time.

I bought this for staying at my parents house as they dont have a spare room so for the living room. It inflates in about 2 minutes and has a deflate function too. Its so comfortable and it can be packed down into a bag for easy storage or travel. Very glad i bought it, will be buying a double or a king for camping.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersIt’s only been a few nights, but I really like this inflatable mattress. It’s far cooler and actually more comfortable than my last 3 mattresses. The little motor works really well and is SO easy and convenient! I’ve not tried deflating it yet.

Bought this for my grandchildren to use when they come to stay and use it myself when I visit my daughter.
Self inflating so easy to use, comfy, a good height for sitting down on and getting up from.
Quite roomy and a single fitted sheet fits it perfectly.
It stays inflated quite well, I usually have to plug it in and top up with air for a few seconds after 2-3 nights use, which is no hardship. Some people saying it doesn’t stay inflated, I found it took about 10 uses for it to stay inflated enough to use for more than one night, I think it needs to be stretched out a bit with first few uses.
It also comes with a sturdy bag to store it in, because it’s never going back in the box once you’ve used it!

As well as the bed being very comfortable & easy to inflate & deflate, the company gave me excellent customer service. One of the beds was faulty. I received them in June but for illness reasons I did not open them up to use until early August. In finding one was faulty I contacted the company. Within 2 weeks I have received an apology & a refund. There was no hassle or difficult process to go through. Problems can always occur, but the measure of an excellent company is how they solve a customer problem. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. 10 stars.

As good as an inflatable bed can get. My house guests are consistently pleasantly surprised by (a) how easy it is to inflate and deflate, (b) how high it inflates and looks like a real bed, (c) how comfortable it is. I’ve never had an issue with it deflating overnight, including when I used it for 2 weeks myself (fwiw- deflated during daytime to make space, inflated again at night, so didn’t try 2 continuous weeks).

Initially though was a bit expensive BUT well worth the money. I am a big girl and cheap inflatable matresses hit the floor before morning, although this does deflate a little even after having for almost a month and using every night it would not stop me from purchasing again and i would highly recommend to anyone to pay the extra and get this, it is more comfy than my bed was.the only thing is that it needs something thick to put between you and the sheet ie matress topper if you are using it as regular as i am some people might find it cold, great though if you have hot flushes like me.

Update: unfortunately day after i reviewed mattress started to lose air and almost completely deflated. (gutted). Thanks to Amazon fantastic customer service another on the way and faulty one being collected , which is essential as this is my main bed due to hospital bed for hubby being in our bedroom and no room for a single bed as need room to move about and this just deflates and is away in minutes which i need to care for hubby, i just hope the replacement is ok as its a bit inconvenient now i have no bed for 4 days but thats life, and it has not put me off the mattress as sometimes defects can occur. Will update further if needed hopefully i wont need to

Needed a guest bed unexpectedly. It was easy and quick to inflate and once it was inflated it was light and easy to manoeuvre round the room. Set the bed up the evening before it was needed but there was no loss of air the next morning. My guest loved the way it could be adjusted for varying firmness, and chose to use the pillow end for her feet and spent a very comfortable night. No noticeable loss of air the next morning and was easily deflated within a couple of minutes (bed, not guest!) completely flat and able to be placed in the storage bag. I don’t know how durable it will be, but by not inflating it to completely rock hard might reduce the pressure on the seams? This is certainly not a cheap bed, but for convenience and comfort it’s well worth the extra outlay

Bought 2 as I had visitors staying at short notice, neither had a complaint and both commented on how comfortable the beds were. I left them inflated as I had family staying a month later neither bed had lost much if any air, and honestly didn’t really need blowing up again. Again my guest compliment on the comfort, though when one said it was better than the bed at home I did think it was time that she got a new bed

I work night shifts at a call centre. So I needed something that would inflate close to desk level to answer the phone just in case. It pumps up reasonably fast considering the height of the bed and deflates fast too. Comes with a bag but I roll it up and can fit it easily in a sainsburys bag for life. Only drawbacks is that the built in pillow is a little gimmicky ( almost certainly will have to use your own pillow) and some peoples deflate over night (Mine hasnt but my friends says theirs did). Always be careful folding my the motor!

On the box it says it’s the best nights sleep. It is. So comfortable. Don’t have to top up with air regularly, only every 5-7 days. And even though my bed started losing air, although no holes or splits could be found, no sound of air leaking and definitely couldn’t feel any air escaping, after nearly 3 months, the company were so professional it beggars belief. Went to the customer support part of the order. Chose to email. Sent email detailing issue. Had a reply in less than 15 minutes. Gave the details requested plus a description. Response from that came after 10-15 minutes detailing my options. Responded. Final email arrived letting me know when my replacement would arrive. I will get my new bed in a couple of days time, and it took about 1 hours to sort. More of that was because I didn’t reply to their emails as soon as they arrived. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Have not had the active era bed for long and have only used it for a few nights, but so far it is easy to inflate and comfortable. It is however cold to lie on so I would suggest putting a blanket under the sheet. The bed could also do with being a bit longer, anyone over 5ft 9ins would probably find it a little too short if they lie stretched out. Overall it is useful, comfortable and easily stored .

I’ve gone on to sleep around one month on this every single night and I can say it is very well made, I almost never had to add additional air and it is very comfortable. I found the raised pillow to not be a good fit with my way of sleeping (I sleep sideways and normally use a pillow of my own) so I ended up sleeping opposite, with my feet on the pillow. I also found it better to take out some of the air to make it softer, but that will of course depend on preferance. Well worth purchase for me.

So I finally got to road test the bed on Saturday, I was hosting a race so stayed in the van the night before, the bed inflated in around 2 minutes, I reinflated a small bit an hour later and one final burst before I settled down, I wouldnt say totally comfy but far better than a night on a floor also just a tad too short for me, I’m 6ft 2, all in all sturdy reliable and easy to use, highly recommended.

I invested in a good quality pop up bed for guests at last. I was so pleased to get this bed and discover how easy it was to inflate – it’s just a plug in, turn the dial and up it goes! A joy. I was also delighted at how it kept its air overnight. It is such a sturdy bed too, really comfy as I tested it out for a bit. And then deflating it was also super easy – just turn that dial the opposite direction, no need to hold it. I cannot recommend this enough for ease of use and comfort.

Went to stay with a friend who didn’t have a spare bed so bought this specially for the trip.
Inflates (& deflates) super easily, I slept on it for a week and it’s actually very comfortable. Only slight downside is that its quite heavy and bulky to move around but that’s a small issue in light of the quality and comfort it provides.

Great bed apart from two things. It’s too short if you’re over 5ft 9 and I wish they missed of the pillow. Its not really something that you would want to use as its not flexible, and with a pillow on the top it’s too high. Ended up with the pillow at the bottom, and curling up a bit more. Nice height and comfortable if you can get over that.

This is a good little airbed that so far has provided a few comfortable night’s sleep. It’s a bit shorter than my previous air beds which means, at 6ft 2″ my feet hang over the end but I can’t complain as I didn’t check the measurements before purchasing.

Fast to inflate, fast to deflate and folds up nice and compact for stowage.

In summary, a comfortable air bed at a reasonable price….

I bought two of these for camping, I decided 2x singles rather than 1 double would be better as past experience of beds like this has been as one of you rolls over in the middle of the night, the other one gets catapulted out. Well it has not disappointed me. We used them for the first time on a week long camping holiday a few weeks ago and they were great. They hold pressure well overnight, there is some deflation on night 1 as the manufacturer advises as the material stretches a bit on first use. The real difference with these beds though is whatever witchcraft is going on inside them – if they are partially inflated the air is somehow still evenly distributed inside them and they keep their form – so you can actually sit on one end of it and not have it balloon out on the other side. this also makes them VERY comfortable.

One of them did have a leak on first use, which was slightly irritating, but I found it easily and patched with the included repair kit. This appeared to be because the material had been stretched to failure during packing at the factory – hence the 4 stars. Not a major problem though and now repaired they are fine.

I have been using this as my actual bed for 3 months now and I’ve found it more comfortable than any ‘real’ bed I’ve had before. In the first week or two, it needs to have air added regularly, but after that it hardly ever needs re-inflating. I find the pillow section very supportive and haven’t needed an actual pillow on top. Might be a bit cumbersome for camping but if you want it for a spare bed I would 100% recommend buying this.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m writing this review after six months of ownership. We have used the air bed several times a month for one guest (who needed to bubble with us) and its always provided a comfortable nights sleep. The bed is very easy to inflate and deflate with the built in pump. I really see no point to having an inferior product at a lower price point, its a false economy when you need a decent nights sleep!

After six months, we noticed that it was deflating over about 6 hrs of usage. It turns out that there was a minute tear along one of the panel seams on the top surface. It was almost impossible to see with naked eye. I reported this to the manufacturers customer service together with some high res photos that they could zoom-up and they immediately sent a replacement which we will receive in the next few days. That is what you call “Customer Service” and should be a lesson to other companies. Well done to ActiveEra!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA lovely, wide single bed and so comfortable. Claims to self-inflate in two minutes and does exactly that. For the first week it needed topping up with air each day until the vinyl had stretched to capacity, so do not assume there is a problem or a leak, it is just the bed behaving in the way the manufacturer suggests it will. Some reviewers have mentioned that the bed is a little noisy when they turn over. I have not noticed this as I use a mattress cover and a duvet underneath a fitted sheet and then sleep on that. This prevents any noise being created while sleeping on the mattress. However I would recommend that the bed is stripped completely of all covers each morning to allow the flock covering to air and any condensation to evaporate.
I have been using this bed now for three months whilst my furniture is in store. I sleep on this bed just as well as on a normal divan and mattress. Your guest will surely love it.

I bought this (single size) for my disabled wife, hopefully to take on a family Christmas visit, to avoid using stairs. She was concerned it would be too ‘wobbly’ and she would not be able to get up from it safely.

But the alternative – a folding metal frame temporary bed – whilst being more sturdy, would have probably been too low and would be bulky to transport and store. So I ordered this one first to try it thinking if it was not suitable, I could use this one for me; and, order a metal one for her.

This one is perfect! She only needs the slightest help from me to steady her. It’s rock solid when inflated and very comfortable. So I have immediately ordered another for me. Happy days.

Im absolutly thrilled with my inflatable that much 2 other members of my family got me to order 1 each for them too. The main reason im loveing mine is its not an inflatable bed on the floor its nearly not by much the same hight as a normal bed and im honestly in a wheelchair and was getting soar on my hips so i thought id try it as its air and thought worth a try. Well i refuse now to buy memory foam matress and wasting hundreds of pounds as the air bed is perfect. Im so so thrilled with mine perfect.

The single bed is very comfortable easy to inflate and deflate with the electric integrated pump. We haven’t used the manual pump option. It’s also a great height. We use it to go camping and I always wake up thinking I’m in my own bed. I would advise if using it camping put something thicker than a sheet between you and the bed for warmth. I use a fitted sheet and a single quilt with cover and a sleeping bag as the bed feels cold overnight. I have only used it a few times camping in the uk but so far I would recommend this bed. I think it would be great for overnight guests too. I also use a foam prop and my pillows to sit up on the bed and read or write reviews:)

I bought the single bed based on previous reviews and thankfully I wasn’t disappointed. From the first moment I liked the quality as I unfolded the bed and lay it out. The blue velvety surface looks great and as it turns out grips the sheet/pillow well to prevent slip. The inflation and deflation is so easy. The power box at the end of the bed is simply a matter of plugging in and turn switch to inflate, two minutes later job done. I like the height of the air bed, easy to get on and off. The movement on the bed is just a question of getting used to and depends on how firm you inflate…no issues for me. Loss of air during the night minimal. To deflate simply turn the switch and quickly the job is done. Neatly fold and back in the bag. As a spare bed, easy to transport and use its ideal.

Was really quick to inflate/deflate on first use went down only slightly but it does state in instructions it may do on first couple of uses, it was a lot bigger and much better quality than I expected have bought it for my grandson to use when he sleeps over and he loved it so all in all very good value for money especially as it comes with its own storage bag and takes up very little room when put away

This is a very comfortable bed. It suits either those who like a hard mattress or those who prefer it a bit softer. The raised “pillow” is an extra bonus. It is so easy to follow the instructions. The electric plug fits away in its own slot. Altogether it is worth every penny.

I have been using this bed a lot recently and it has proved itself over and over again. Very comfortable to sleep on, easy to get onto and off. Easy to move around when inflated as its very light and I can control how firm/soft I want it to be, ideal for me as I sometimes suffer from back pain due to my job. It takes a couple of minuets to inflate and to deflate, the plug storage is easy and accessible. I would even go as far as to say its on a par with my usual bed! The whole bed folds away easily into its own storage bag and can be hung up or stored in a cupboard/shed. If I was going to say anything bad about this bed the only thing I can think of is its heavier when deflated! but even so not so heavy that I cant carry it or hang it up on its storage hook. My only regret is that I didn’t buy this bed earlier, its an ideal spare bed, and for me, as I use it now more frequently its an ideal bed that has retained all its qualities even after prolonged use.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersFollowing very thorough checking of bed I discovered that the fast deflation port is made up of 3 elements . The very visible part of the port always looked securely closed, but there is a further element that reduces the port welded into the bed to accept the very visible deflation port just as would be found on a beach ball or Lilo. Careful checking found that this reducing element was not fully pushed home leaving only one seal instead of the required 2 seal points. The weight of the sleeper on the bed would possibly cause air to leak past the single seal and so cause deflation.
Since arriving home I have re inflated the bed and now found that the bed has stayed inflated over a number of days. I have no hesitation in recommending the use of the inflatable mattress.
    Thanks David

Easy to inflate, really comfy & reasonably priced. Great as an easy stored away spare bed for visitors, family etc. We actually prefer this to our normal mattress & are thinking of getting a double too. Inflates quick & gives you a great nights sleep, it’s easy to use & easily stored away. Company CEO even emailed with handy hints and tips for storage & how to look after the mattress. Excellent in every way, much better than our Silent Night mattress.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersSince moving into our unfurnished temporary accommodation on the third floor, we’ve had to put our belongings in storage. It would be too much of a struggle to get large heavy furniture up six flights of steps so an airbed alternative was perfect!

Been here 4 months and have wasted money buying raised airbeds which have previously just deflated overnight or somehow got an unexplained hole in it. Think we’ve bought around 4 – 5 airbeds during this time and they simply do not last long for our needs at all.

This luxury single size airbed purchase which I have only had to top up with air twice in the last three weeks of receiving it is absolutely amazing. Very quick to inflate and is so comfortable it seems to hug you whilst sleeping. I use a folded double quilt to sleep on like a mattress topper not only to protect the surface but for the added comfort and luxury.
It’s very sturdy with the extra internal support, tough exterior and it barely moves when you turnover and feels like a real bed. It does exactly what it says on the tin!! Doesn’t sink when you sit on it and the built-in pillow is a great bonus.

I did my research on Amazon first before I picked this airbed and I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever, to the point where I’m going to have to order another one for my 19 year-old son. Every now and again he keeps going in my room to lye down and rest on the my new airbed because his double raised airbed gets uncomfortable and slowly deflates and now yesterday he discovered a whole in it!! He’s fed up now and wants one of these.

Great purchase from this seller on Amazon which we shall buy again. Money very well spent.
Definitely won’t be purchasing from our big supermarket ever again!!

Worth the purchase for much better quality.

After trying to find a comfortable and easy air bed that when dressed actually looks like a real bed for my guest room. I found it! Easy to inflate stays up looks good and comfortable… All boxes ticked.
Even have a deflate and bag to keep it in or travel with easily. Yes very pleased we’ll worth the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this item a month ago but held back from writing a review until it had been sleep-tested by my 14 years granddaughter visiting us for her 14th birthday. She reports a comfortable and cosy three night’s sleep. I did try it out too and found it comfortable to lie on. Certainly the pump made short work of inflation and deflation and the bed is now packed away again ready for my 15 year-old grandson to visit from Australia in April. In the past we have used a foldaway bed and this product is far more comfortable and convenient and doesn’t take up any storage space when not in use. The leaflet warning that the bed might deflate slightly on the first couple of uses as the material stretched was re-assuring. It did indeed go down a bit the first night but after that it was fine. Recommended. Good value for the money.

Very easy and speedy to inflate, out of the box, made and ready to use in ten minutes. Found it very comfortable, had to inflate just before using on the first couple of nights (as per instructions) but that was no problem. I am a 65 year old lady and found this SO MUCH more comfortable than the old type of camp bed. The height also makes it easier to get up (no more rolling on my knees first).

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersInitially I thought this airbed was rather expensive, but once I’d received it, got it unpacked and inflated, I was pleasantly surprised.
This is a first class product and I’m so glad we chose the Luxury version!
I like the idea of not being too low down to the floor. 53cm is very close to the height of a normal single bed and makes it very easy to get on and off. No need to crawl around on hands and knees.
There is plenty of room for an adult. If you’re on the tall side you may find your feet hanging over the end at full stretch. But, after measuring the width and height of our single 3ft bed I’ve found it’s the same length as the mattress and just slightly wider.
I’ve found this airbed to be very comfortable when laid on my back or on my side. I was a little concerned it may prove to be quite noisy when turning over but I haven’t found this to be the case.
Before you inflate the airbed I suggest you pay attention to how the airbed is folded and packed away. Obviously this will make it easier when the time comes to deflate and pack away yourself.
I knew from reading the specifications and other reviews that it doesn’t take long to inflate but it still surprised me just how quick it is. It seemed really fast from turning the dial to inflate and almost caught me off guard when turning it off!
The built in pillow is a nice feature and probably adequate but I still found it better to add my own pillow too.
The soft-touch flock coating gives a luxurious feeling but my bedroom is a little cold. I found it helped to put a blanlet or thin quilt under the bottom sheet to stop any cold from striking up from the floor.
De-flating is a breeze. Just turn the dial in the oposite direction and all the air is pulled out by the pump. No need to walk up and down the airbed trying to squeeze out the last lot of air!
The pump motor is fairly quiet, probably about the same as the noise from a vacuum cleaner. Although it only takes a few minutes to inflate/de-flate it’s probably a good idea to set it up through the day if at all concerned about disturbing others at bed time.
I’ve slept on other inflatables and camp beds in the past and this is the best I’ve used by far.

I bought this for a friend who sometimes had to sleep on the floor! This an a sleeping bag seemed to be just the thing. The bed inflated, as it said on the instructions within about 3 minutes and was very firm. It wasn’t slept on but I understand that it would need topping up with some air the next morning.
The deflation also worked very well and sucked all the air out in just a couple of minutes. It easily went into the carrying bag (along with room for the sleeping bag too).
Overall very happy with the purchase. The only negative is that it is a very noisy motor that drives the airflow, but as it is only for a few minutes, it is manageable.

Bought this airbed (single size) just a few weeks ago, mainly for when my youngest son comes home. Was not expecting him last weekend but was prepared. Set the bed up very quick, very easy. Asked him the next morning how he slept, his response was… “That’s the most comfortable sleep I’ve ever had.” That was really good to know, money well spent! Thank you Active Era.

I bought this inflatable bed as an emergency extra in my luxury holiday rental. It was put into immediate use as the supplier of sprung mattresses failed to deliver. The bed folds up very small so can be stored in a drawer and is very quick and easy to inflate by just plugging in to a electrical socket and turning a dial. So much better than the old foot pump that used to take hours. Probably took no more than 4 minutes. Seemed not to deflate at all in first two uses. Both guests said they had a wonderful night’s sleep. Excellent value for money. I nearly bought an expensive folding bed but this is so much better, cheaper, takes up less space and gives a full 3ft single when inflated, not the 2’6 of the 250 folding bed. Would highly recommend.

I like everything about this bed…Over the years we have had several beds, but this one is the best. The description of this bed is accurate. We are blown away and a family member who as slept on it 4 times already loves it. Say very comfy and easy to get into bed, as is the height of a bed. My brother is 68, say just like his bed as regarding comfort. ten out of ten….

We like everything with this airbed. It is so easy to inflate and deflate; easy to store or to travel with and very comfortable to sleep on. It is perfect for the extra guests for whom we have no bed but we can also see its uses for camping etc. We are so delighted with it that we bought another in the Cyber Monday sale.

This is a brilliant space saving spare bed. It is far removed from those blow up camping mattresses that leave you on the ground in the morning. I slept on it one night so that I would know what it would be like for guests and it is really comfortable. I am so impressed – it couldn’t be easier to inflate and I would not hesitate to recommend.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersWhile waiting for my latest hospital appointment for surgery, I am usually awake until around 5am every morning with pain. I don’t want to disturb my wife so bought this bed to put up in the lounge so she can get a good nights sleep in the bedroom while I suffer alone in another room. Its a full size height bed which is as easy to get on and off as a normal bed would be which is a great plus point and not a bit like the old airbeds we used when we used to go camping weekends with friends. Its the same size as a normal bed you have in the home and surprisingly, just as comfortable too! When its not used, it collapses into a small rucksack type bag yet blows up to a full sized bed. Very comfy & it plugs into the mains to inflate & deflate with the press of a switch. Great idea for visiting friends etc!
So its versatile too. Its currently serving as my main bed which I have used every night for several weeks now and I have found it very durable and comfortable. It even has one advantage over my normal bed in that its adjustable in firmness and softness so can be made to suit anyone who prefers a firm bed to sleep on yet can be made soft enough for those who prefer a softer mattress simply by increasing or decreasing the air pressure within. Not a bit like the old uncomfortable airbeds we would use if you were camping. Its a full sized bed as comfortable as any bed in your home. GREAT IDEA! Ideal for any extra house guests you may have staying over for special occasions like Christmas etc and miles better than trying to sleep on the settee.

When I unpacked the product and connected it to the mains the large inflate deflate in the recessed panel was exactly as stated on the instruction manual. I left the bed inflated for 4 hrs with no sign of leakage, if it does get a bit soft at night turning the knob to inflate makes the mattress firm again. It would be nice to incorporate a safety valve should you over inflate it. Perhaps there is one but I haven’t attempted to do this. The good thing is that it comes with a carry bag to store it in after deflation if travelling. 5 stars from me.

So far we have only unpacked this item inflated it and tried it out for comfort but it will be a few weeks before we try it out fully when we have guests to to. First impressions are favourable however and it seems to well manufactured from good quality materials, inflated fully in a couple of minutes and has stayed inflated for almost a week with no signs of a leak. It seams to be comfortable but as we know from our comping days the secret is not to over inflate. We will know more in a few weeks time when we will have given it a good try, but we are sure it will be fine for our purposes.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersI have nothing to do with this company in any way so I do not want people to think I do because of these comments.
This is the best air bed I have come across any ware, it is so easy to use, It is made of very hardy material and comes with its own storage bag, When inflated which takes about four minutes it is firm and stable you can sit on any area of the bed without it tipping up and is easy to get on and off of, It is topped with cloth that stops the sheet slipping off if used and a small bult in pillow.
I am 16 odd stone so, after the first two nights, I had to put a bit more air in the bed each morning witch they say is normal because the material stretches slightly but after that, The bed stayed firm even after a further week.
To pack away was so easy to, Just run the deflator pump and suck all the air out and in just 5 folds it packs easily into its bag, after storing the plug and cable in the compartment at the end of the bed.
I can’t praise this product highly enough there are cheaper beds out there but the little bit more this costs is well worth the extra money.

Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersI’m too old to slum it- sleeping on the floor is not for me. We were clearing out a house of furniture, and I bought this Active Era single mattress to use for a few nights after the beds had gone.
It has own built in airpump, just plug in, switch on and watch it inflate in a few minutes (NB there is no manual pump option- you have to plug it in, so no good for camping unless you’ve got an electric socket somewhere).
It was really comfortable to sleep on (and I tried not to think of my sister on cushions on the floor in the next room).
To deflate, the pump just works the other way.
Am very pleased with this. Will make a great spare bed for guests.
Highly recommended (I may even buy one for sis for Christmas).

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersWe’ve only used the bed once, for 4 nights, so I can’t comment on its longevity. However, so far it’s really good. It inflates in just a couple of minutes into a very comfortable (single, in this case) bed. I put a mattress topper on it, partly for extra comfort for our guest, and partly for protection, but the bed is fine without it. It stays inflated very well, with just a quick top-up during the day, and deflates quickly into an easily-managed package. I didn’t try it with a fitted sheet, but instead used a king-size non-fitted sheet which wraps it all the way round. It seems well-designed – the edges are much more rigid than I expected, which is great – and all in all for the price it’s excellent.

I have bought it for my guest.Im very happy with the product,it was easy to inflate and the air stayed there so it didn’t diflate until maybe after a couple of days I had to add some more air but generally the mattress is very good and comfortable. If it didn’t have the built in pillow it would have been better since not everyone uses pillow but this was a minor issue, you can swap the sides. My guest didn’t complain about any pains while sleeping on it,she was comfortable on it.Im not sure how long will stay like that. It’s being In use over 2 weeks now and Im hoping it will last a long time.

Bed was easy to inflate. I kept it inflated for a couple of days and did notice a slight deflation but according to the instructions this is normal while the bed stretches. After I inflated the bed for a third time it did indeed remain fully inflated for a good 18 hours or so! I can’t comment on how comfortable it is to sleep on as I bought it for my niece to sleep on when she stays with me next month. But I’m
confident it will be fine (I will use a mattress topper). It was easy to deflate and I was able to get it back in the bag and box with no problem.

Golden Review Award: 23 From Our UsersBought this for my hubby to use downstairs after several abdominal operations. He found it really comfortable, though a little chilly to lay on without a padded topper. It was super easy to inflate, and more importantly, did not deflate overnight. I just top it up every few days.
He has been using it constantly for 3 weeks, and still loves sleeping on it. He is in no rush to try and climb the stairs to his king size bed.
I have been using king sized fitted sheets over a king sized mattress topper on top of the bed as he really felt the cold. I bought a couple of cheap single fitted sheets, but after washing, they were too small. I am sure you can buy sheets that fit properly, but we are not having a problem the way we have it set up.
    Definitely a good purchase!

British entrepreneurialism at its best! Brilliant idea to have pump incorporated into bed. Bought this for my 6’4″ son who goes to overnight training camps. Pumps up in seconds and no extension leads/ , pump kits needed. We have used it for sleepovers as well and it’s been lived! Could be used for students/ overnight guest instead of a bed as very comfortable. It is quite heavy and although it reduces down to a small duffle bag size, you couldn’t take it on a hike, but ok for going into a car boot. First few times needed to be repumped, but after 3rd use it didn’t need this. Way more comfortable than a camp bed or some hotel beds I’ve slept on! My son loves it!

The main problem we had was that the delivery driver left our parcel at the wrong house (some distance away) out in the rain all day. It was sheer luck that it wasn’t stolen. The package was absolutely sodden through. It was only due to the kindness of the homeowner (in walking round with it to our house in the rain) that we received the bed safely. All that aside, the bed itself was well packaged & dry. It was well made, inflated really easily & our guest remarked on having a comfortable night sleep. Dismantling the bed was easy & it came with a plastic storage bag. Certainly a good buy & great for occasional guests.
