What is one of those I hear you ask? Well put simply, a dress form is a model used to reflect your body shape. This can be very helpful when making clothes or even just to see how an outfit would look together.
There are many ways in which a dress form can be invaluable in garment making, whether you’re just starting out or an experienced sewist.

i purchased a mannquine a while back and needed some extra parts that i lost. the lady Elaine was extremely helpful
This is a perfect item, so my girlfriend told me. It was a requested present. I’m not into sewing. It can be adjusted to any shape. Girlfriend is happy.

I use this dummy regularly for fitting clothes. The dials are fairly easy to turn, but were a bit stiff at first. The measurements of the form are pretty generous within each size. I like that it has dials on the sides and from and back to allow for different set up for various weight distributions.
– The back bodice panels keep popping out of place every time I remove a garment and must be repositioned.
-Pins cannot be stuck through mannequin, only inserted at an angle through the layer of fabric that covers the plastic.
– The construction could have used more durable materials on the inside (as opposed to plastic) to make it feel more robust and sturdy (I am unsure as to how long it will last after some serious usage).
– The fabric gets dirty quite easily and is not so easy to clean.

Quick delivery and perfect product. Adjusts easily and in many different areas. Like the cover as it allows you to pin to it easily. Nice and sturdy construction, and actually quite nice to look at, even without anything on it.

Le rglage de la morphologie du mannequin est prcis et conforme aux caractristiques annonces.
Il y avait un tournevis professionnel dans le carton. Il ne m’a t d’aucune utilit pour le montage. Il doit certainement manquer son propritaire dans l’atelier de fabrication du mannequin 😉
Works well and looks nice.wish It would work better if the sizes would stretch to size 16 .a lot of ladies around this size need some adjustment between 12 and 16 .the next stand size up is to big.
Love it, however, you cannot use it for making trousers
i highly suggest you measure yourself first and get the smaller model where you can pad it if its too small, it’s easier to expand a mannequin than to try and shrink to it’s size.
firstly it’s not flimsy, its well made with solid wood stand and adjustable height, the body of the dress cover allows you to pin it, the body is made out of plastic clad in fabric and has a slight padding all over about 2mm thick which allows you to insert a pin into the fabric
you can adjust the height and the shortest is about 4″10 4″11.
I found you can adjust the back waist length and the smallest length was 14.5 – 15 inches from nape to waist. my neck to waist measurement is 13 inches so it was not a perfect fit for me however you can increase this length.
after you have checked your measurements setting I would advice you put a garment that fits you well on the garment to see if there is adjustments to be made so that the garment fits the model as it fits you, this might be difficult so take a picture from different angles to compare the fit.
As always things are not indestructible, after all this mannequin is designed to be adjustable therefore has movable parts and is flexible so i would treat it with respect and not think these design aspects are the result of poor quality as some customers seem to think.
Of course it’s not designed to be thrown about.
Fabric covering could be a bit heavier quality. Looks good in studio and good value.
Had this about 6 months now. Couldn’t do without it great for adjusting clothes. Or designing them on the dummy. A must for any dressmaker.
Got this for the mrs so she can pursue her dressing making hobby.
She loves it. Really adjustable, looks classy and very sturdy.

Ordered this Tailor’s Dummy for my wife’s birthday a few weeks ago. There was a delay and some problems with my delivery. I got in touch with Cooper’s through Amazon and they were terrific. They got back to me overnight and followed up the problem over the next day or two. Although it cost them time, effort and money but they ensured 100% customer satisfaction. My wife is very happy with the product. Really impressed with the service and will certainly not hesitate to order again. Well done guys at Coopers!
My only complaint is that the a couple of the wheels are a bit stiff and they are fiddly to adjust but I am hoping that they will loosen up a bit over time.
I do like the fact that the main body of the stand is still quite sturdy, even when adjusted to its fullest size.
Just what I was looking for as a present for my Daughter who has just started her textiles GCSEs, she can change the sizes as needed & it looks great in her room as a stand alone item too, she was really happy
I bought the Adjustoform Lady Valet in small for use in my Upcycling business and am very pleased with my purchase ! Absolutely invaluable for all dressmaking and a beautiful item to have in your home. It arrived quickly and represents good value for money I would say.
Would recommend this.
Only problem would not post to France so had to pick up in UK.
