Bought this for home improvement jobs as my old one had given up. Cheapest price online and next day delivery. Works great with the orbital motion leaving no lines in the sanded wood. Can attach vacuum hose straight to it which is helpful and it comes with a simple tool to attach the sanding pads accurately to keep the vacuum holes open.
Bosch are good quality for the Price.
I purchased this unit as I all ready own a variety of Bosch Battery powered tools, and being able to swap batteries from one unit to the other is brilliant, when using them around the home.
All the batteries use the same power charger, so easy to connect and disconnect the batteries and place into the charger, makes life a lot more simple. No looking for a different battery or charge unit whilst working.
Th orbital Sander is good quality for the price and I assume will work well as a sander, all though i have not used it for that particular feature at present.
I have tried it for polishing the car, it works ok, is easy to move and polishes ok but I found that it stopped spinning at times, which is not good, as it can leave marks on the paintwork.
I am hoping that the battery just needed a top up as it was one out of the cupboard, if this is not the case then I am not sure it will be the best use for this particular appliance.
Time will tell, and I will shortly be using it as a sander, so hopefully it will fulfill that function a lot better than as a car polisher.
Otherwise over all I am impressed with the unit, other than the (noted by other reviews) flimsy plastic dust collector-catcher, it seems to be good but perhaps not the best as a car polisher.
Good tool a little heavier than expected. The dust collector is absolutely useless but sands down really well.
Thus is the best sander i have ever used. That said, it only runs for about 10 to 15 minutes per battery. (2 amp hr). I have 7 so can cope. The dust recovery container is absolutely rubbish and has been replaced with a zipped fabric bag type.

Very useful and effective for polishing the car. Have yet to use for sanding. Already have a battery for other bosch products so reasonable value. Would be a bit expensive if these are needed on top. Battery power is ok, best to have two back ups because power goes very quickly. Did look at wired version but this would be more difficult to use outside. Great to have the freedom to use anywhere

Die grne Serie von Bosch (hier die 18V Akkumodelle) schwanken zwischen unbrauchbar (18V Akkustichsge) und hervorragend (18V Multitool). Der Exenterschleifer ist gut verarbeitet, die einstellbare Drehzahl ist praktisch und die Akkulaufzeit ganz ok. Das kleine Tool zum genauen plazieren der Schleifscheiben gefllt mir richtig gut.
Fr normale Heimarbeiten mit Holz kann ich den Exenterschleifer wirklich empfehlen. Die Lebensdauer wird sich zeigen.

Warum erhalte ich ein neues Produkt, wo das Herstellersiegel bereits geffnet und wieder mit Klebeband versucht wurde zu kaschieren?
Htte ich das Produkt nicht dringend bentigt, dann wre es umgehend zurckgegangen.
J’apprcie qu’elle s’arrte de tourner au moment o j’appuie sur le bouton, contrairement la Ryobi qui faisait encore plusieurs tours, je devais attendre qu’elle s’arrte pour la poser. Le chargeur n’est pas pratique, c’est vert ou rouge, pas plus d’indication, on ne sait pas si elle est compltement charge ou moiti…
Hatte bisher einen Schleifer mit Kabel. Dieser mit Akku ist perfekt, da der Akku auch in meine anderen Gerte passt.

Sfrutto 2 batterie gi in mio possesso per utilizzare questa bestiola. Ne faccio un uso prettamente hobbistico saltuario, ma quando serve c’ ed affidabile.
Nada que decir es una Bosch y funciona a la perfeccin, lo nico que viene sin maletn para su conservacin y eso me molesta un poco ya que siempre se puede llevar algn golpe o coger polvo innecesariamente. Por lo dems un 10.
Ich habe schon nen Deltaschleifer und Bandschleifer. Aber der kleine Bosch hier ist echt mein liebstes Gert fr schnell mal hier und da schleifen geworden. Funktioniert toll, guter Abrieb, leicht zu nutzen. Kaufempfehlung!
Il y a des gammes de matriels rserves aux professionnels. Le prix est inabordable. Et puis il y a des gammes de produits pour des bricoleurs quotidiens. Et la, on trouve des matriels quasi pro qui savent rendre tout ce que l’on attend de ce type de produit…. moindre cot. Cette ponceuse BOSH en fait partie. C’est une excellente ponceuse pour des travaux quotidiens avec une qualit de travail trs performante, un bruit trs supportable et une maniabilit parfaite. Le concept “agripp” des disques est de trs bonne qualit et il permet un travail de qualit sans se fatiguer. En conclusion, cette ponceuse est un excellent achat pour un bricoleur de tous les jours….. non professionnel.
J’ai dj une ponceuse mais filaire et le ct vite mis en uvre pour les petites taches me sduisait. Je dois avouer que j’ai t agrablement surpris par son efficacit.seul petit bmol, c’est pour brancher mon aspirateur (Karcher) dessus, a a du mal teni

A well made, easy to use sander. Not for industrial use but perfect for DIY. It also has interchangeable batteries with other Bosch products.
It’s fine for smaller jobs but lesser quality pads will hinder the finish.

Warum habe ich mir bisher alle mglichen Schleifgerte zugelegt? Mit so einem Teil htte ich viel Geld sparen knnen, es ist wirklich Klasse. Die Vibrationen sind sehr gering, kein Vergleich zu einem Deltaschleifer, der natrlich auch seine EEinatzniesche hat. Zur Zeit der Schwingschleifer fast tgich in Gebrauch. Ist eben schnett bei der Hand mit dem 18 V Akku.
Fr den Heimgebrauch vllig okay, einfach und gut zu bedienen.
Lieferung einwandfrei. Leider war das Siegel welches beweist das Artikel neu bzw. Original ist aufgerissen, was mich leider immer verrgert.

Decent sander for small jobs. At full speed, you’ll get about 15-20 mins of running from the standard 1.5amp battery. So if you want longer life either upgrade the battery or go for the pro range.
Dust filter is worthless, but i’m yet to see one that isn’t.
Einfaches Produkt, welches viel zum Einsatz kommt.
berwiegend fr Holzarbeiten, aber auch bei Kunststoffen funktioniert es mit dem richtigen Papier gut.
Den vorderen Haltegriff habe ich demontiert, da er beim Arbeiten eher im Weg ist.

One battery can do a whole car with ease, with enough charge for 2 cars, which is what I was concerned about as some said they didn’t last long! (It’s still worth having 2 batteries, at least for me as I have a Bosch drill).
This can take the 4 Ah battery and the 6 Ah battery without the dust box, but I’m not sure if it would be as comfortable to hold. You don’t want to be using it for a long time anyway, both on a car and in your hands.
Which brings me to a minor complaint, this thing vibrates and rattles which can be a little off-putting. I can see why the dust container cracks for some users (though you won’t need it for cars)… Hopefully the actual unit won’t shake itself loose internally, but like all Bosch power tools you can register for the extended 3-year warranty.
I feel it was well worth the purchase for me, a third of the price the detailing shops sell their corded machines for (and from the same manufacturing country), though I can see polishers are becoming more affordable by the year.
I feel that if you don’t have a battery and charger, which equal the price of this unit, the budget options for half the price might be a better choice or you could try the corded Bosch Blue for a few more pennies.
If you’re a mobile detailer or just want to be cable-free, this is probably the best choice though other manufacturers are waking up to this market (Ryobi, Makita, etc).

Brilliant sander that does what it says on the tin. It isn’t too uncomfortable once you literally get to grips with it! Found it holds the dust well in the small collector and not so much of it flying around. The pads are easy to attach like Velcro and switch when required. Battery life is ok. Expect to maybe switch if have large panels or lot to sand down. I already had spare battery for my drill so this was perfect & kept cost down. Recommend to anyone who wants a simple sander that can change speeds, batteries and sanding pads in seconds
J’ai utiliser la ponceuse pour poncer un abris de jardin ! Je confirme les avis prcdents qu’il vaut mieu avoir au minimum 3 batteries pour pouvoir travailler normalement ! La batterie est vide au bout de maximum 12 a 15mn ! L’avantage du produit est videmment le sans fil sinon la puissance est quivalente une filire !
Der Exzenterschleifer macht was er soll. Er liegt gut in der Hand und selbst nach etwas lngeren Schleifen tun ein weder die Gelenke weh noch bekommt man so ein taubes Kribbeln in der Hand.
Was man aber definitiv meiner Meinung nach bentigt, sind 3 Akkus. Ich selber habe nur zwei und mit einer vollen Ladung kommt so ca. 20 bis 25 Minuten. Da aber der Akku danach recht warm ist, schlgt beim Ladeversuch der “Hitzeschutz” am Ladegert an. Ich habe es dann so gemacht das ich erst nachdem auch der zweite Akku lehr war, den ersten aufgeladen hatte. Das funktionierte dann, jedoch steht man ohne 3’ten Akku dann da und muss erstmal andere Sachen machen. Nun gut das gilt natrlich nur wenn man grere Projekte macht.
Sonst ist das Arbeiten aber sehr gut.
Grundstzlich wrde ich das Gert wieder kaufen und kann es eigentlich auch anderen Endanwendern empfehlen. Sonst bliebe einem ja auch noch die Kabel gebundene Variante.
Preis-Leistung geht hier auf jeden Fall in Ordnung.

Habe mir diese Maschine zum Polieren von unseren Fahrzeugen gekauft. Klappt echt super, hatte schon andere poliermaschinen, so klappt es Perfekt. Und das Gert kann man auch fr andere Aufgaben nutzen. Bin voll zufrieden.
Complaints: The on/off switch is in a lunatic position, underneath where it is being held. Whoever put it there in the design process need his (probably a “him”!) head reprogramming. The dust extractor box is as effective as I expected. Like: not effective at all. A full day of sanding might fill the box to about 1/3 and the machine achieves a significant layer of dust. It is better with Abranet discs (or their cheaper Pronet equivalent), But a vacuum connection is really needed. (That’s a pity because the hose negates the advantage of cordless!)
It does need two batteries if you’re going to use it a lot. You need to be charging a new one as you work. Not a problem: I have two! (One from the strimmer in this range – which is near useless.)
But.
1. Delivery took over three weeks during which time the price dropped by a tenner.
2. My existing battery (1.5 Ah) would only run the sander for a very short time. I bought a 2.5 Ah battery which although supposedly part of the One for All Bosch range didn’t fit my existing charger. Can’t post thw battery back as prohibited by the Post Office, so a new charger was required.
All in all an expensive way to buy a sander, battery and charger in three transactions.
The only negative for me (as others have said) was the lack of storage – at this price I would have expected a carry case.
Can’t believe so hard to sort out this as a basic……?
Really handy and have used it virtually every day for the last two weeks.
Sehr unhandlich, ab Stufe drei sehr laut, Absaugung ohne Staubsauger mittelmig.
Allerdings trotzdem eine Empfehlung, weil am Ende die Schleifleistung zhlt und diese ist sehr gut, ob fein oder grob und sehr starke Abtragsleistung.
This being an orbital sander, it is by definition not easy to hold and quite noisy. Having said that, it would be nicer if it was a little quieter.
The dust filter works pretty well but doesn’t have a huge capacity. Cleaning it provokes a cloud of dust if not opened carefully within a bin or bag.
The unit can take the regular 2.5 Ah and the much larger 4 Ah batteries.
Der Bosch Exzenterschleifer hat mich dann doch berrascht, insbesondere die Nutzungsdauer mit den mitgelieferten Akku. Ich habe eine groe Holzbank damit abgeschliffen und auch einen Garten-Teakholz-Tisch.
Des Akku hat jedes mal ausgereicht, bzw. bei der Holzbank habe ich meine kleinen Pausen genutzt, um den Akku in das Ladegert zu stecken, damit konnte ich praktisch durcharbeiten.
Gert ist gut mit einer Hand zu halten, also relativ leicht.
Das Absaugen funktioniert zum Teil, ist aber auch kein Staubsauer.
Im Freien habe ich dann den Filter abgemacht, damit spare ich mir das regelmige ausklopfen.
Bin rundum zufrieden und kann den Exzenterschleifer wirklich empfehlen.
Ich hab den AdvancedOrbit 18 nur gekauft weil er als Gebraucht zu einem sehr guten Preis zu haben war.
Sehr positiv ist mir die geringe Lautstrke, im Gegensatz zu den mir bekannten bzw. meinen anderen Kabel gebunden Schleifern, aufgefallen. Der Abtag ist sehr gut und mit einem 2.5Ah Akku kann man ca. 30 Minuten arbeiten. Eine nette Zugabe ist die Staubbox in der doch einiges landet. Aber bei greren Schleifarbeiten sollte man dann doch lieber einen passenden Werkstattsauger verwenden.
Als einziges kleines Mango sehe ich, dass es keinen Koffer gibt.
Great sander. The sander itself is powerful enough just restricted by the battery capacity/charge. Having 2 batteries would help a lot as I was using an old, the old type 1forAll 1.3Ah battery and was getting about 10 minutes of runtime.
Comes with a disc applicator but found it easy enough to apply without it, just aligning the holes.
It only comes with one 80 Grip disc, having couple more different grits would be nice.
The only downside was the Dust Filter as the square shape paper filter itself is hot glued to the top cover but it was only glued on three sides, letting lots of dust out. I had to glue it myself with epoxy and a disposable syringe.

Gert luft einwandfrei. Entspricht den Erwartungen . Ich habe einige Bosch Gerte in Verwendung. Bei Problemen ist der Kundendienst von Bosch perfekt und korrekt !
fr kleinere Arbeiten gut geeignet, zum Polieren eines ganzen Fahrzeuges sollte schon ein 220V Gert her. Aber erstaunlich gute Funktion und Akkulaufzei
Es macht wirklich Spass mit dem Teil zu schleifen, vor allen Dingen bist du schn frei in deinen Bewegungen, da das Gert mit einem Akku versorgt wird, der Wechsel ratzfatz ber die Bhne geht, wenn dieser leer geworden ist.
Ich sehe dies auch als Vorteil, wenn ich demnchst mein Auto polieren will, kein Kabel ber das frisch polierte Blech strt.

habe diesen Schleifer jetzt seit 2 Monaten in Benutzung und bin sehr zufrieden. Liegt gut in der Hand und bringt gute Resultate. Das wechseln der Akkus, welche sich schnell verbrauchen gestaltet sich etwas schwierig, aber ansonsten top.

Genug Power, mit mehren Akkus im Wechsel meine ganze Gartenhtte abgeschliffen mit zufriedenstellendem Ergebnis.
Ansich bin ich mit dem Gert sehr zufrieden. Der Exzenterschleifer macht was er soll, mit dem Gert ist vieles mglich. Der 3 Ah 18 Volt Akku hlt gut zwei Stunden am Stck durch, allerdings muss man diesen und das Ladegert extra erwerben.

Der Schleifer liegt recht gut in der Hand und ist fr das grobe Abschleifen von alten Anstrichen recht gut geeignet. Mit dem groen Bosch Akku 4Ah lsst sich eine Holzwand von mehreren Quadratmetern kabellos bearbeiten.
Der Staubfnger mit dem Feinstaubfilter ist jedoch ein Witz: Entweder man schliesst einen guten Staubsauger / Absaugung direkt an – oder man lsst (da wirkungslos) die Staubfangbox gleich ganz weg und arbeitet draussen (ggf. mit Partikelmaske).
ACHTUNG: der 18V-Akku hlt bei Volllast gerade mal 20 Minuten… d.h. wer unterbrechungsfrei arbeiten will braucht mindestens zwei – besser drei Akkus, die dann parallel wieder geladen werden mssen. Diese Zusatzkosten sollte man einrechnen, damit man frustfrei arbeiten kann.

Looks Like a good sturdy build, haven’t used it yet as it arrived without battery wich was not included in the pack, that was the only bit wich let me down, but will review as soon as i get the battery pack and charger and will give it some use.Little update, I went to clean the filter recently as haven’t used it in while and here’s how Bosch glued its hepa filter inside the box, just some hot glue that easily came of as soon as I tried to hover the dust from the filter disappointing.the battery doesn’t last long you have around 30 minutes at its best to sand and I have the 4.0 so the big chunky battery not the small ones. Going back to a wired sander.

Il piu impegnativo lavoro e stato levigare un carrello elevatore da 50 quintali.
Elle est vraiment silencieuse et efficace. Pour les travaux de ponage c’est un rgal, la prise en main est trs confortable malgr la batterie. Branche un aspirateur c’est encore plus pratique, par contre quelle chemin de croix pour trouver un embout d’aspirateur compatible ! La sortie d’aspiration est trs petite. Sinon, sans aspirateur le bac de rcupration est efficace
Je recommande, elle est aussi efficace que ma ponceuse excentrique filaire
it accepts both 1.5 & 2.0 Ah 18V batteries from the Power 4 All range.
Only complaint is that it comes in a cardboard box and not a carry case which in my opinion is disgusting considering the price.

Update for ALL of these Bosch Power 4 all Cordless Products. The actual batteries for these are absolute crap !
I hardly use my power tools and have probably never charged any of them more than 25-30 times since new but they get weaker and weaker each time I do.. Now 10 mins max of sanding drilling or jigsaw and its dead. stay clear unless they announce a product correction.

Der Schleifer funktioniert sehr gut, man sollte aber 4-5 Akkus und 2 Ladegerte haben, wenn man durchgehend arbeiten mchte, die Akkus werden recht warm bei Nutzung und mssen dann eine weile abgekhlt werden.
Ich habe eine komplette Hausfassade mit dem Akkuschleifer gemacht, habe davor mit einem 150mm Exzenter von Milwaukee begonnen, der war mir aber mit der Zeit zu unhandlich und das Kabelgefummel war lstig, deswegen dann den AdvancedOrbit bestellt.
Gegenber meinem Milwaukeeschleifer, hat das Boschgert mehr vibrationen, jedoch absolut im ertrglichen Rahmen.
Der Auffangbehlter hlt zwar einiges an Staub zurck, jedoch bei der Flche, die ich geschliffen habe, hat er wenig gebracht, wenn man sich nicht im freien aufhlt, wrde ich auf jeden Fall dazu raten, einen Staubsauger anzuschliessen.
Bin auf jeden Fall positiv berrascht ber die Leistung des kleinen Gertes und kann ihn nur weiterempfehlen.
