iCON Range
Stylish ventilation for the home
For a sleek and stylish addition to any home, why not choose an extractor fan from the iCON range? iCONâs unique design ensures effective ventilation, which is quiet and uses minimal energy, for various applications.
The design includes iCONâs plug-in module concept, which allows you to create a fan to suit your specific needs.
iCONâs round design means fitting on the wall or ceiling is simple, and with three versions, this provides a suitable fan to install in any room, large or small.
- Up to 32 l/sec flow rate
- 12V Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) versions available to provide extra safety and peace of mind at home.
- The unique iCON iris shutter opens and closes silently whilst helping to prevent backdraughts from outside.
- Why we need to Ventilate:
- AIRTIGHT HOMES: Modern dwellings are designed with increasingly reduced air infiltration rates and higher levels of insulation making them almost completely sealed.
- MOULD: Unchecked levels of moisture and relative humidity will lead to mould growth and Inhaling these spores can trigger health issues, so extracting moist air is important.
- CONDENSATION: Dampness is a huge problem in the U.K. Damaging to both humans, and to the fabric of buildings, condensation leads to streaming windows and walls and ultimately to mould.
Adding stylish ventilation to your home is as easy as 1, 2, 3

iCON Frequently Asked Questions
Who can install my iCON fan?
All electrical installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with Approved Document Part P of the U.K. Building Regulations and to the latest IET standards, or the appropriate regulations in the country of installation. All fans must be installed in line with the manufacturer’s installation instructions provided to ensure the fan has been installed correctly, allowing for performance of the fan.
How do I clean my iCON fan?
SAFETY FIRST: ALWAYS ISOLATE THE FAN UNIT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE DOING ANY WORK ON THE FAN/MODULE.
The fan and ducting should be inspected and cleaned on a regular basis to keep fan performance at an optimum level. The external housing of the fan can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Do not use household cleaners containing abrasives. Cleaning of internal parts such as the impeller should be carried out by using a soft brush. Never clean any parts of the fan assembly by immersing in water or using a dishwasher.
Which type of ducting is suitable to use with the iCON?
Both Rigid and Flexible ducting can be used with the iCON fans. When installing ducting, it must not be damaged or blocked. Where flexible ducting is used it must be pulled taught to avoid system pressure build up and noise.
How does the iCON iris/shutter open and close?
The iris/shutter opens by activation of a wax brown actuator mechanism. Upon switching the fan on, the actuator is heated and pushes onto a white plastic clip, which in turn opens the fan iris/shutter.
After installing the fan, ensure to power off and allow the actuator to fully retract for approx. 2 minutes, before attempting to fit the cover, this will permit the iris/shutter to function correctly.

he 6 inch brick cutter needs a commercial drill (it’s a large sized hole)
This was to replace a fan fitted 11 years ago, same make and model. It is in my down stairs toilet and shower room so get a lot of use.
Well worth the money
I am delighted with the neat appearance of this monster fan, it is much more discreet than I expected – a bit like a small flying saucer. My electrician simply replaced an old 4 inch fan using a 6 to 4 inch converter and made use of the existing fittings: we were fortunate to have sufficient space between the ceiling & the floor above. He did have to make a larger hole in the ceiling of course. The work took under an hour. The noise is less than I was anticipating. I needed a more efficient extractor fan because the cooker hood does not work very well & it is not convenient to open the kitchen windows. It does take a full minute to open & a whole 2 minutes to close, but the advantage is it does not collect dust like the old fan & it is easier to wipe clean.
Good straight forward and cost effective solution to our kitchen venting requirements.
Great product!! This is a monster of a fan and will keep my new bathroom moisture free from the nightmare teenager who loves to have a 30 minute shower!! Would highly recommend buying the moisture sensor for it too which can be set to keep the fan going until all moisture has gone. Great value for the money.
Very noisy but does a good job. I bought this for my kitchen as an alternative to a hood extractor. I struggled to find a decent looking powerful fan as design doesn't seem to be a priority for fan manufacturers. The reason I opted for this product is that the cover can be changed so if the plastic yellows (and I don't know that it will) I can just pop a new cover on. I also like that it opens and closes so there's no manky grille on display. It's on my kitchen ceiling now and, due to the design, it's very unobtrusive.
arrived really quickly and am about to install it to day, the last one lasted 12 years so hoping this one will do the same.
This is my second icon 60 because I needed something that could extract the most amount of air and this does the job. So when I’m having a shower or bath there is no condensation left in the bathroom. It’s a little more noisy than most extractor fans but after a while u get used to it that’s why I’m giving it a 4 sta
This fan is a monster. It is extremely powerful. I tried the toilet paper test where you put close to it a piece of toilet paper to see if it holds it up. Other fans struggle to hold up a piece if toilet tissue, this one holds up really thick card so hard you struggle to get it off. It’s noisier as well. This is the Ford Mustang of the bathroom fan world. And it’s huge. Fitting it as a replacement to a normal fan is tricky because it’s so much bigger. I would only recommend this if you have a lot of steam to get rid of, in which case only this fan will do.
Not as good as I’d hoped ,extraction good ,but noisier than I’d hoped for, and noisy back-draft wnen windy
