How to Run with Water Bottle Comfortably?

WE RECOMMEND A COMFORTABLY TIGHT FIT on Waists/Hips and the TIGHT FIT on Bottle Holder. Your optimal activities will depend on how you prefer to wear the hydration belt: A slightly TIGHTER fit around waist(smallest point around core area) is recommended for running/aerobics to minimize bouncing. For walking, travelling, or carrying multiple items, a slightly more relaxed or true fit on top of hips or low on hips is recommended..

The water bottle is not included.

I need bigger water bottles but otherwise this is great. Hoping I can modify it for flasks I find at target or Walmart.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersGreat runners belt! Doesn’t bounce around and you can carry your big cell phone, and the water bottles are small, but perfect amount! I use to run with a camel back, and this has literally made it more comfortable.
I have over 100 miles with this belt with zero issues.

Two of my different water bottles fit well. Plenty of space for my iPhoneX. Strong seams and good materials (not cheap). Great, varied elastics for hat and/or jacket. Meets all my needs for a nice, long walk.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersJust what I needed as an avid walker and runner. A water bottle sits nicely on your hip and barely noticeable. For extra security it has a small elastic band that goes around the neck of the bottle to keep it from slipping out. It has enough small pockets for any size phone, keys, wallet, power bars etc.

The coolest feature is the ability to size it to your needs. The way you do that is both simple and ingenious. I’d recommend you size it after you’ve used it a couple of times to get a feel for where to best cut it off for your needs.

I like it so much while exercising that I’ve begun to wear it on day hikes instead of using my day hike pack.

    Just what I needed!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersGreat for summer runs!
Straps on hips/waist or you can strap across one shoulder

Has extra zipper pocket – carry cellphone keys and small snack

Takes any water bottle- there is a small loop in the bottle holder that will fasten your drink on the belt so it doesn’t fall out

I prefer bottles with a sports cap as opposed to twist-open capped bottles

    Makes a good gift too!

It is a good belt. It doesn’t bounce around. I made a mistake in buying this bottle https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01E9P01UK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o09_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
and that bottle would fall off the belt. Whether you are doing a light jogging or hard jogging, the bottle will fall out.
In my defense though, when I looked at this belt it says that the bottle will fit. It does fit, but it will or slide off.

Other than that, it is good. But be aware, don’t buy a small bottle like the link above.

This is a great product! I hike five miles a day with my dog and this has been a life saver! Plenty of pockets & doesn’t bounce at all. Great adjustable fit also. The pockets on the belt won’t fit your phone though but will hold small items which is fine. Very reasonable price for a well made product. I need to wear the belt so that the bottle is at my back because if your walking and the bottle is at your side your arms will hit it. Probably wouldn’t be an issue for a runner as your arms are held higher up.

Pretty good, depends size/weight of bottle. I wish the velcro belt across the front was a little wider and padded. It can feel like a thin tight belt across your gut if you run and have too much water. My bottle never falls out and easy to reach around and put back in so happy with that.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI bought this brand and model for myself from another seller and love it, so I just purchased two more from this seller for my husband and a friend who admired mine (no longer available from original seller). So this belt is kind of big but it doesn’t seem so on long hikes so far. I like it because it has two zippered pockets: one small that hold my key fob separate and safe from being accidently lost. The larger pocket is big enough to hold my large phone and wallet. The filled pockets don’t noticeably bulk out the belt when in use. The belt is designed to carry a small or large water bottle comfortably at a slant which results in as minimal bouncing as I’ve experienced with the various other belts I’ve tried. My 24oz Camelbak insulated water bottle fits perfectly and can be secured by one of the two straps. It appears that a smaller bottle would be secured well with the other strap. I only need the strap while jogging. It stays in just fine while hiking. In any case, the strap is elastic and easy to pull on and off the bottle. I had to cut the waist strap shorter because it was very long but the plastic at the end is designed to come off and then be replaced after cutting. This belt is sturdy and comfortable. I have no complaints.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI enjoy hiking and a lot of my hikes are off-road and generally last between one and two hours. I always carry water or some type of liquid electralite for hydration, and I prefer a wearing a water-belt to carrying my hydration in my hand.
I’ve tried a number of water-belts over the years, most of which had adjustable waist belt and buckle, which never seemed to stay adjusted where I wanted them to be.
This AiRun Tech belt with a hook & loop means of fastening / adjusting is very secure and does not fall out of adjustment. The belt itself is quite lite, but also quite sturdy. The two zippered pockets are very handy. The elastic retaining strap is also sturdy and holds water bottles securely.
The belt itself is adjustable for almost any common waist sizes….my size is 36 and fits great. I could probably have a 40″ waist and this belt would still fit.
I recommend this AiRun Tech running belt.

The overall fit is good. I wish I could say there is no bounce while running but the water bottle will add a strange weight that wants to move (especially if you are used to no weight). Overall a good product and the benefits outweigh the strangeness of carrying the extra weight.

Overall a very good product, I did find that as I ran the belt would try and slide down below my hip and around my waist. I had to keep tightening the belt and turning it back to my side.

I used this in Arizona for hiking while carrying a 1L bottle in the summer heat. Hard to get the bottle in, but it is secure. The extra pockets are superfluous to me and I could have done without them, but some folks may want it. It was comfortable, but the material can scratch you if you position it wrong. I wish it were available in a lighter color so it would not just absorb the 105+ degree sun as much.

The inclusion of velcro for the padded belt portion makes this belt more comfortable than a higher priced one that I also have. The universal water bottle fit is also a great feature. Solid product that will get much more use in my half marathon training and whatever other uses I find for it. 🙂

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersThis belt fits so light and comfortable against my abdomen, you hardly notice it! Holds a water bottle and has a nice pouch that holds my bandana and cell phone. Another little pouch on the other side of bottle holder holds chapstick and small items. The velcro strap around the waist is soft and smooth; no twisting or pinching or discomfort at all! And it’s easy to adjust. You can wear it low rider below your belly button or hike it up around your waist. I’ve been walking dogs for twenty plus years and have had MANY fanny packs, water bottle holders, etc. and this one is by far the most comfortable. There’s even a loop I can hang my dogs’ collapsable water bottle from. It’s amazing and inexpensive!

This pack is works perfect I use it over the shoulder and it holds the water bottle without any movement.

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersI’ve used this about 10 times since I got it. I love this product for hiking in the Arizona heat. It holds my 24oz. insulated water bottle well and is easy to remove and replace the bottle as well. It is not hot or sticky and does not seem to hold body odor, which is great. This works great for my normal 4-7 mile hikes. I can fit quite a bit of stuff in it also; Samsung 7S with a large case, keys, license, lip balm, small sunscreen, pocket knife, and a hair scrunchy. Durring bursts of jogging this stays in place well and does not move around. The bottle only bounces when I don’t have it attached tight enough. It is the most comfortable item I have ever used for this purpose.

Holds bottle securely and does not interfere with walking motion. I haven’t used it running. Make sure water bottle is securely closed or it will leak due to almost horizontal position on belt.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersThis three inch model easily holds both my Camelbak and Hydro Flask 20 oz bottles. They are easy to pull out and put back when I want to take a drink. Plenty of room for my Galaxy S7 phone — fits with room to spare. My waist is 32 in and there is about another five inches smaller you could go without having loose strap hanging out. I would guess it could accommodate a waist size of up to a foot or maybe slightly more than that before you would need an extension. This is well designed and made, highly recommend it. (I am a fitness walker and it doesn’t bounce around regardless of pace or terrain; can’t say how it would be with the higher up and down motion of running.)

I barely even know it’s there, even with a water bottle, so it doesn’t interfere with my outdoor workouts.
