Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersThis little solar fountain is amazing! I set it up a three weeks ago and it’s worked well from the start. The reason I’m so impressed is that it works even in the lowest level of light. It start up just after sunrise and keeps going all day. We even modified it before installing it, by adding a 30cm piece of plastic tubing between the pump and the spray head to raise the level. I wondered if it might struggle to lift the water that far, but it’s coping well. Such neat, easy to set up and well designed simplicity is a joy!

I have a half barrel pond that I was previously using a solar power bank and usb pump to keep the water moving. I have tried several other solar pumps but always had the same problem – no power on slightly cloudy days. I have no outdoor power so was just resigned to charging the bank indoors every few days.

I saw this pump on two Youtube videos from fellow DIYers and thought I’d give it a go. I’m so glad I did because it works a dream. It was grey and raining today but set it up nonetheless. I put the pump in the water and it worked instantly!

I highly recommend this to anyone.

This little pump/fountain works perfectly. The solar panel is situated in a position that catches the sun so works most of the day. This is more powerful than my previous solar fountain, and – maybe a coincidence – but my little pond has stayed perfectly clear and has a resident frog. We love i

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirstly, I’d start by saying that I *would* recommend buying this because it brings such joy to the garden with the sight and sounds of water flow – and beyond the initial costs, it doesn’t cost you to power it which is a bonus!

Secondly, it seems to run most of the time including in poor light, but with varying flow rates – see my video for what this looks like in different light conditions. In low light it can be quite annoying with the intermittent spurts but this is an installation issue as if you ensure that the top of the spout is under a shallow level of water the whole time, this won’t be a problem.

I wouldn’t say that it has a strong flow which would allow you to put the longer tube onto the pump and pipe the water some distance from the source – this might be due to my light conditions but I doubt it is capable of that even in strong, steady sunlight. Up to you if you’d like to test it.

There is no battery, so don’t expect it to store power for low-lighting levels! It reacts pretty much instantly to cloud cover.

You’ll need to consider whether your lighting level will allow a strong enough flow for whatever you want to use this for. I am happy with a steady burble and varying flow rate, so not an issue for me – I’d recommend it for small water features only (mine is in two levels of a strawberry planter).

I’m happy overall. Bear in mind that I’ve had this for a week only, so if it breaks sooner than a few months I will downgrade this review from 4 stars.

Manufacturers and amateur electronics enthusiasts might consider adding an on-off switch, as I feel this could be useful.

Reasonably easy to install & setup.
Lots of choices of heads of you want a fountain feature.
I have used the clear tubing to reach a little higher.
Pleased with purchase overall, although a battery backup feature would have been good.
This does not function once sunlight goes off panel.
This is clearly stated in the description.

Got this as a replacement for a garden birdbath fountain, all good except you can’t disconnect the solar panel or the pump from the cable so too big to insert inside the stand as previous one. Still works but the cable hangs over the side of the birdbath instead of being hidden down the centre of the pedestal.

Absolutely made up with this pump the solar panels works even when it’s over cast. It was bought as a replacement for a previous pump for my water feature and it fitted perfectly.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI was a bit hesitant about buying a solar powered pump/fountain as had one several years ago and it was rubbish, however this one works excellently in full sun and even when gloomy you still get an intermittent burst.

The only issue I have with it is that there’s no spike to stick it in the ground so you just have to prop it up against something, this is a bit of a pain as I can’t get full sun all the time so constantly moving it around.

Just created this mini pond water feature! It is working great, I’m really pleased it works better in full Sun but still okay when overcast, for the price and hassle free wiring I highly recommend this pump! will have a play around with the different nozzles to see which I like best and will be adding some black dye and plants to pond to enhance even more!

Bought this for a upcoming project, im suprised it still pumped water even on a cloudy day, it comes with different attachments which is great and a clear pipe which saves me the hassle of getting one. I am going to use it for a garden cascadibg waterfall feature. Will update with pics and vids when its complete.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI use this in my pond and in all honesty it struggles. Not because the solar panel is weak or the suction is bad – on a sunny day the fountain is genuinely great – but because a pond is a living thing and living things crawl (tiny bugs) or grow (algae) into the fountain unit and clog it up. I have to disassemble the unit at least once a fortnight to clean it out, something you would not have to worry about in a water feature. It also has the disconcerting habit of acting like it has prostate problems on cloudier days (something that units with batteries have less issues with). For the money it is good, with several different fountain heads, and if you are looking for a small water feature then look mo further, pond owners might want to spend a bit more

Works very well in direct sunlight. When in shade it intermittently spurts. I read a review saying this works immediately sunlight hits it, so to be aware of making sure pump is submerged in water before uncovering the panel as the pump will burn out if not in water. I took heed of this advice.
I set this up on a cloudy day. I put the lowest spray attachment on which I thought would be fine. After work the next day, after a day of sunshine, I found my water feature almost empty of water and the area around it soaked. It must have been a great display. Shame I missed it!!!!!! It was in shade when I got home!!!!!
It now runs with no spray attachment which is fine. The water stays in place and it keeps the water moving which is what I want. I originally bought this to replace the old pump on my terracotta pot cascading water feature which had stopped working. True to form, it starting working again once threatened with replacement. I now have this one working in the bottom dish all day and the other one stores power through the day and is timed to start working in the evening. If this constant movement of water keeps the water clearer for longer, this set up will continue!!!! I can only hope!!!!

The pump comes ready to go, assembling the mounting for the solar panel is fairly intuitive. Assembling the output features can take a bit longer but all the pieces are well made and can be figured out fairly easily. There is a big selection of fountain options included including a tube that is good for features such as Japanese bamboo water features.

The power it can generate is fine for it’s size. Expect it to only reach maximum output in full sun. In overcast weather it might be a bit weak and shoot bursts instead of a full stream. At its price it is a great piece of kit for small ponds and water features that you might not want to do a big setup on.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersThis solar fountain pump works well in direct sunlight. Setup was easy and there are a lot of attachments included. Personally, I would have liked about 3 or 4 choices of fountain patterns but there are a lot of choices included in the package. The solar panel is big and flat. It should be placed in a location where there is the most sun and for a long time for optimal operation. As soon as my hand’s shadow falls on the solar panel it stops working almost like magic. This fountain has been working continuously (on sunny days) in my ponds and it is somewhat strong for a solar fountain. This version does have LED lights. The pump motor has some weight to it so it stays in the water. The wire for the solar panel is very long so it can be moved around for better placement. Overall, a decent solar fountain that works well in direct sun.

Golden Review Award: 56 From Our UsersI’m using this in a 35cm pot and it looks lovely. When it’s in full sun and the fountain is working at full power, it shoots water up higher than I expected- the pot isn’t big enough to contain all the splashes, so keep an eye on the water level!
It worked straight out of the box on a sunny/cloudy day, and it comes with 7 different nozzles and some stabilising tubes to keep the fountain in the middle of the pot. I haven’t used the tubes, and instead use some foam floating flowers around the fountain, works just the same.
Lots of fountains seem to have bad reviews on being intermittent, or only working in full sun etc…. but please remember this is an inexpensive fountain powered by solar energy only. It works brilliantly in full sun, and then changes under cloudy conditions, depending on how much power it has stored in the solar panel. I’m really enjoying listening to and watching this fountain, and I also like that it changes intensity with the sun. It makes a marvellous game for my cats – a small shoot of water suddenly turns into a larger one, they love it!
As long as the fountain has had enough sun exposure (I’m not sure exactly how much it needs yet, maybe a few hours?), you also get a beautiful light display when it gets dark. On the first day of using this, the lights came on in the evening, and I was amazed at how pretty it looked. The water runs at a constant pressure along with the lights for about 4 hours.
I don’t have another fountain to compare this to, but I’m really impressed with it and would definitely recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Powerful little fountain!

I wanted to try this with the tubing, to see if it was strong enough to keep water flowing through a water feature I built. It obviously doesn’t work as well as the electric pump but it does a decent job of keeping the water moving.
You do need to position the solar panel somewhere in direct sunlight, as soon as it becomes overcast the pump isn’t strong enough to do the job.
Overall, I was impressed by it. It didn’t expect it to work as well as it did.

    ++ budget correct

    Les points faibles sont:

    — ce type de panneau solaire n’a pas le meilleur rendement du march. Ds que le temps se couvre lgrement, ses performances chutent drastiquement. Il faut donc vraiment qu’il soit en plein soleil pour fonctionner pleinement.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our Users/ RESUMEN PUNTOS POSITIVOS/NEGATIVOS:
    PROS:
    Conjunto bastante bien pensado
    Incluye muchos accesorios
    Puedes crear tu propia fuente

The solar fountain pump is not as big as I first thought, but equally decent..

When fixing the fountain please do not have it flat

The fountain needs to be at a higher level, ie, in a bucket style or similar, no holes, and rigged up with a stone rockery for example.

This is different and really nice in the garden

Ensure the water never runs out.

Works in day light hours and not through the night.

Attractive to see in the garden

I got this solar fountain, along with another one, as a birthday present for my brother-in-law, to go into his fish pond. In the box you get quite a few accessories including tubing, 16 different nozzles and other attachments. It is just a shame it didn’t come with a decent set of instructions. Which meant it was a bit of trial and error with regards to what worked with the clear tubing. In the end, we decided it wasn’t needed.

Tubing aside, it was straightforward enough to put together and popping it into his pond there were no issues with bouncy. It did float around at bit and tended to head for the sides and there wasn’t anything in the kit to keep it away. With the other one, it had four short clear straws that stuck into the sides to keep it away. Anyhow, we decided to position it in the Lilly pads so it wouldn’t move around and it was fine there.

The cable length between the pump and solar panel is good and we just submerged the excess cable. The panel is a decent size and by the time we got this set up and in the pond it was around 6.30pm. The fountain was working pretty well in the lowering light. The fact that you can angle and position the panel to capture the best light is so much better than those floating disc ones, where the panel is always facing straight up.

I have to say my brother-in-law was really please with it!

I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative, and useful. Thanks for reading.
NB. For a sizing guide, squares in photos are 1cm.

Everything you need and many options depending on your mood. I got this solar fountain to replace an earlier version and it’s great. Very easy to put together with plenty of tubing which fitted my existing pot, obviously only works when it gets the sun, but why would you be out in the garden in dull weather? Make sure you keep the motor clean and it does an excellent job.

    Lots of options

This pump comes with a solar panel, pump, plastic tube, stakes to support the solar panel, a float and plastic pieces to attach to the pump to shape the water flow.

A lot of other solar fountains will come with the pump and solar panel all housed in one, or at least have the pump housed in a plastic casing. This solar fountain pump however, has all of the parts separated.

There’s no stored energy either, so the pump will only work in direct sunlight and won’t work at all at night.

It would be great for a water feature, but I think there are better all in one solar fountains out there.

If you want this to move water in a water feature, or to use it in a small bird bath or fountain it will be good, but if you’re after a proper solar water fountain, there are better alternatives out there.

The saving grace for me is the fact the price at time of writing is 24.99, which is reasonable compared to what some others are charging on Amazon for a similar product.

I hope you found this review helpful.

We have a bird bath and after several days still water can get quite dirty and probably not very nice for birds to drink from.
So adding a fountain to break the water surface seemed like a good idea to keep the water good and it also adds another feature to the garden.
It works quite well in strong sunlight and as we benefit from having a south facing garden we can appreciate this on a summers day virtually all day long provided the sun stays out which in the UK is rare lol.
I like that this is solar powered and uses no mains supply although I really wished the manufacturer had built a rechargeable battery into this to give continual operation when the sun gets obscured by the clouds. As it is when the sun is clouded the fountain literally grinds to a halt.
It needs a battery then it’ll be a good product.
Various spray patterns can be achieved with the different attachments which gives variation to the fountain.
The solar panel is a nice size and provides enough power to power up the water pump in direct sunshine.
It comes with a vast array of bits and pieces, but the instructions could have been better as I had to use abit of trail and error.
The solar panel has enough wiring to place this effectively within reach of the bird bath and utilising the sun for the best part of the day.
I do feel at just under 25 (at time of review) it’s just too much money to pay in my opinion as it will only operate effectively on a blazing day.
Great product but let down by not having a rechargeable battery.

I really like soar powered water features. This small 3.5 fountain is tiny and ideal for a bird bath or small bubbling feature. It has some great fountain heads and a large solar panel that can be moved well away from the fountain into direct sunlight.
Unfortunately this solar panel doesn’t store energy so only works whilst the sun is shining. It even stops as you walk in front of the panel. Only works on a sunny day
A great pump but a shame it has no energy storage.

This arrives nicely packaged but the instructions are diabolical. It’s worth reading the advert throughly.

There are a lot of attachments you just won’t use so it’s trial and error to sit down and try them all to see which one is your favourite.

Basically the deeper the water the higher the spray so don’t expect much from a shallow bird bath.

I liked the super long wire and that you can attach the solar panel onto a fence or there is a stake if that suits better.

The solar panel is really sensitive. One little shadow over it and it makes the pump splutter and stop and start. So some consideration is needed to where you put it. I’ve photographed some shadows from the shrub branches as the sun was going down and that was enough to make it stop.

My video is at its best when the sun was straight over head. I’ve got a North facing garden so ideally you will get more continuous results if South facing.

Don’t forget this isn’t like a solar light that charges. It’s basically if the panel has sun it works. If it doesn’t it won’t which is a shame they can’t get it to charge to help with that.

It’s a nice little fountain once the frustration of setting it up has faded. I liked that the spray was low in a bird bath as you’d lose too much water too quickly if the spray was too big of a circumference so I’m happy to recommend but lost a star for the poor instructions. I hope my photos help though

Poor instructions. Any shadow on the solar panel and it won’t work. Work well when full sun.

Nice ornament. I have it in a bird bath and it certainly adds a little excitement to watching the birds, some like it some don’t.

It comes with lots of different tops, so whatever style of water fountain you like you should be able to find it among them.

You have to assemble it but it really is very easy and comes with instructions. The pump needs to be in at least one inch (2.54cm) of water to work and this should be clean water, the hose fitting is not very tall so not for deep water (no more than about 3 inches I would guess). The supplied solar panel is one of the biggest I have seen. However, there is no power storage device, i.e. a battery, so no sun no fountain. Grey skies very small to no fountain, it really is a fair weather item. The cable from the solar panel is pretty long so you should be able to find a position in water that suits you.

I am very impressed with this Aisitin brand solar fountain, it comes with lots of different water pattern heads and a clear hose to use in a pond as well as a bird bath. I’m going to use it to replace the solar water pump in my Buddha water feature, using the pump with the clear hose, I’ll put the solar panel up high above in the pergola, although the solar panel does come with an adjustable stake for the grass too. Please see the fountain in action in my bird bath, the solar panel doesn’t charge up power but works only when the sun is on it, so make sure the solar panel has plenty of sunlight and isn’t shadowed by anything that will affect it working so well. It’s a well made solar driven fountain I am very happy to recommend to you.

When I opened the box i saw lots of different tubes and nozzles there is such a choice of different patterns nozzles to choose from The sola panel was easy to put together and as I just wanted a simple pump and short tube with a flower nozzle I found that this was also easy to put together but if you want you can choose to have a real fancy waterfall as there are so many attachments I did though have difficulty in sticking the pump down as the bird bath was very uneven so I found a thin piece of slate which the suckers on the pump adhered to very well so the next day sun was shining went to the bird bath and as you can see in the photos it’s working very well I did notice that as the sun went behind the thick clouds it stopped working but as soon as the sun reappeared it came back on again so this means it only works when the sun is shining There is quite a long lead from the sola to the pump you can either stick the sola panel into the ground or you can screw this on to a post which I am eventually going to do. I do recommend this as it’s is easy to put together and it doesn’t cost a penny to run and it does looks very effective

Works well in the bird bath

Golden Review Award: 42 From Our UsersThis kit comes with many fittings to allow you to customize the size and pattern of the fountain. The solar panel is large and lightweight. The pump is small with a filter and suction cups on the bottom which hold well. Lots of fountain head that assemble without tools.

The solar panel is sensitive and works well in bright direct sunlight but in shadows and overcast skies the power is not enough to provide a continuous spray. There is no battery reserve so the pump is on and off depending on the light. There is no on/off switch so there is no option to stop the fountain if the panel is in the sunlight.

Overall a nice accent fountain but not powerful enough to be dependable so don’t use this for aerating live fish or other critical needs.

ice in direct sun but not for any shade

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersPerfect for your backyard or front yard garden setup!

Works with any fountain and long enough to place the solar panel in an area that gets sun.

Very easy to use and came with everything to set it up. Fool proof too be honest. Can’t wait to see some birds this season drinking from our backyard 🙂

I used this solar pump for a large planter pot I turned into a fountain and the power was not enough for that size of pot. But worked perfect for the smaller fountain we made for my daughter.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am really pleased with of the Aistin solar fountain. In the box was the pump, solar panel and 6 nozzles.
Connecting the pump to the panel for the first time I was shocked at how powerful the pump was. Each of the six nozzles create an impressive jet or jets of water which can reach some height. I’ve had in the past a floating solar pump but the solar panel ring always needed full sunlight as the slightest of shadows and the pump would stop. This on the other hand can come with some shadow over the solar panel, however for the best results you want to make sure that the panel gets as much sun as possible. This is made easier by the fact that the connecting cable is a decent length meaning you can position the panel in the best place.
The battery is a great idea as it does allow it to continue to work in the evening as it starts to get duller.
My only criticism would be that I’ve found the pump does get easily blocked due to the small holes where is sucks in the water. It’s just meant I’ve had to make sure that the water is as clear of any bird of weed etc. first thing in the morning the fountain can struggle a bit but that’s due in part to not enough light getting to the panel so you end up with a 5 seconds squirt of water and then it stops again but this is due to the panel not getting enough light which is to be expected.
Overall I am throughly impressed. If yiu take the time to find a location for the panel where it’s going to receive the most amount of sunlight as possible you can’t fail to be impressed.

Purchased last year, disconnected and stored properly come winter but unfortunately now that it’s Spring and i set the pond back up the pump doesn’t work anymore sadly it will kick on for 5 mins then die again…. been fighting it for a month now but looks like I’ll have to buy a new one.

Powerful. Wasn’t expecting the water to shoot up so high, works great in a light, shady area really strong flow in a bright area

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI bought this on a whim on Prime day, as I wanted to try and use it to run a small waterfall rather than a fountain in my pond. I have a solar disc fountain that sits in the middle of the pond but was missing having the waterfall running.

I bought a 1cm internal diameter x 1 metre flexible and clear plastic pipe and attached that to the 4cm long fountain spout, that I had attached to the pump – perfect fit. I didn’t use the foam disc as the stiffness of the pipe kept trying to tip the disc sideways and raise the pump out of the water. Therefore, the pump itself is just dangling in the water on the end of the pipe and wire. I think it is giving a good flow, just what I wanted for my small waterfall – a nice gentle flow, not a rush. I stood the panel up on the ground, as it looks less obtrusive there than hung on the fence, angled to catch the rays.

The photo and video I have attached were taken on quite a cloudy day and it is going great. In the photo you can see the end of the pipe, with the pump going into the water in front of the 2nd stone to the right of the waterfall, then the pipe curls around to go into the top under the ‘frog’. The excess long cable is tucked behind the solar panel.

I am really happy with my purchase as it is running a small waterfall, just like I wanted it to. The price I paid was great too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Working great as a waterfall via a purchased plastic pipe.

This has been the best one I’ve purchased so far. Birds love it. Had it for a month now. I don’t use the fountain attachments though because they spray to much outside the fountain. Easy to clean. Very happy

Works good even in subdued light. Have to be careful with placement. The tiny pump which is in the water will actually act like a small motor on a boat and move the whole thing around a water container. Then it gets too close to the edge and sprays the water out and lowers the level necessitating adding water often. Get it sitting in the right spot and you’ll love it. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter a lot of review of other solar fountains, I kept going back to this one! Very happy with the hours of water flow. The only draw back in my case, the three teeny tiny suction cups located at the bottom of the battery case, only one would suction to my new flat base bird bath, having to place decorative rocks around the unit to keep in place. However, I would definitely recommend this solar fountain.
