I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this as it’s pretty cheap for all the items that you get with it. However, I’m really pleasantly surprised with the quality of everything.
The desk is a good size; I can fit everything I need on it very easily with plenty of room. Just purchased a footrest as an additional item and it’s a comfortable and pleasant work environment!

I love the look of it as soon as I saw the offer. The style and simplicity.
It didn’t disappoint. It is really the full package, desk, chair, lamp, laptop stand, and mouse mat, great value for money.
I believe the manufacturer has put some good thought into their product:
(1) you are not just getting a standard desk lamp, but one allowing wireless/wired charging, Alexa enabled, and it doesn’t stop there. The lamp also gives you 5 light modes, 7 brightness settings and touch controls, as well as being adjustable over 120 degree.
(2) the mouse mat is an extended one which gives you more than enough room for your keyboard too, so you could comfortably place your hands on the keyboard.
(3) as long as you have a bit of space on one of the two sides where you put your desk, the desk organiser provided could be attach to the left or right hand side of the desk.
(4) in addition, there is also a headphone hook and again, you could fit it to either side of the desk.
There is clear and easy to follow instruction to set up everything. It is very straightforward, including unpacking, it took me about 45-60 mins.
It would have been perfect if only the armrest on the chair is adjustable. I am however still 100% satisfy with the product.

I don’t have anything wrong to say about this ROCKJAM Working From Home Kit. This is perfect for me as I work four days a week from home. The kit included everything I needed in one box to create a little home office. All the items seem sturdy and durable, appears to be of decent quality.

The desk is easy to assemble and feels sturdy. The design is simple, doesn’t have any drawer, but you can attach a little desk organiser on a site to keep the documents and papers. The top base is a lovely wood grain finish to it and seems waterproof. The size is big enough to hold desktop, laptop and keyboard, still left enough space to keep bits and bobs.
My only recommendation would perhaps be a headphone stand instead of a hook on a side which I feel it’s hazardous; however, I like that it’s an option if you want to install it or not, which I haven’t.

The chair is also of decent quality, easy to assemble and very comfortable. Some people may find it a bit narrow, but it’s perfect for my liking. As usual, you can adjust the height and tilt/back; however, it doesn’t have an adjustable arm, but I can live with that.

The lamp is nice and bright, has seven brightness modes, is compatible with Alexa, and the base has a wireless phone charger. Also, it comes with a decent quality mouse matt and laptop stand, which is a bonus.

Overall the kit seems perfect for the price, very nice design, the quality is excellent and offers good value for the money.

This is a great set. It’s smart and stylish, feels robust and was easy to put together. The desk looks very sturdy. The colour is a very rich wood effect, looks great. Stand is the perfect height for a laptop and they look fantastic. Great looking lamp which can charge my phone and has adjustable light. The mouse mat has a great fabric that doesn’t slide around your dest, it has a great soft, but firm feel and is big enought to cover a keyboard and mouse easily. The chair back is quite supportive and the mesh keeps you cool. Handy height adjuster lever at the side and very light to move about. Sturdy arms, nice depth of cushion.

This set is a very comprehensive set to help you have a home office, which has become the norm during the pandemic. The setup comes with a desk, a computer chair, a desk lamp, a laptop stand and a large desk mat.
Is this the most comfortable set for each of the components? No, definitely no. However, this is meant to serve the purpose of like being at work, which never has the most comfortable setups anyway, and this isn’t bad, so it’s a great set for a home office.
Putting everything together is relatively easy and straightforward despite the instructions being a bit lacking. I don’t have much use for the desk lamp and laptop stand, so they’ve just been left aside. I know the desk lamp is advertised as Alexa and Google enabled, but I don’t use either, so it’s a point lost with me regardless. It also doubles as a wireless charging station for mobile phones, but I didn’t want it in the way when connecting my phone through wire out the way isn’t an issue for me.
One thing I really don’t like is that headphone hook on the side, which I’m glad is optional, because it’s more of a hazard that helpful. Even if you used headphones, the just poses a risk of clothes and yourself being caught and getting hurt from it. With so many accessories already included in the set, why not just include a headphone stand instead of using a dangerous hook? Either way, it’s not on for me.
Overall, 176.52 for this basic home office set is good value and for anyone just looking for a simple set up, this is pretty good.

For around 180 (current price) you get a whole lot for your money.

The desk is slightly smaller than claimed, but features a metal frame and attractive wooden finish.

The chair is a tad disappointing and the assembly instructions not the most lucid. Nevertheless it’s still reasonable within the price of the overall package.

The laptop stand and extended mouse mat are fine, and the lamp is a lovely item: Alexa-enabled, it provides wireless mobile phone charging, and puts out light in a variety of colours.

All-in-all, it provides real value for money.

Lots of people now work from home, a trend that has been gathering since way before Covid, but of course even more so now. If it’s just a very occasional day here and there, you can probably get by using a kitchen table, or similar, but for regular homeworking, you really need something more suitable.

This is just the job, an ideal solution, and perfect for my daughter who works several days a week from home. It provides everything you need to set yourself up, without breaking the bank, and in a convenient, easy to put together pack. It really is superb — fantastic quality.

It’s a basic desk, but full-size, and without drawer pedestal, which you could always buy separately if you wished, but most people won’t really need. The desk was a cinch to build, good and sturdy, and looks really smart too, with a lovely wood-grain textured finish, and a handy document caddy for the side, along with a laptop stand. It’s really sturdy, instructions super easy to follow too and everything is labelled so you know exactly what screws to use. If you don’t use a laptop (i.e; you use a desktop), this is also ideal. Simply don’t place the laptop stand. Perfect for monitor(s), keyboard, mouse etc. The desk is by far the simplest furniture I have assembled, with very clear diagram instructions. Everything you need is provided including the screwdriver. Unusually, it’s a simple one person job as well.

The laptop stand took just a few minutes to assemble. The Laptop stand is sturdy and provides optimum height, so you are not looking down all the time.

The chair was a little awkward to assemble, but not overly so, and again super quality. It’s very, very comfortable, lightweight and provides great support to the lower back. It also provides a little give so it’s not too rigid. There is a lever underneath the seat to adjust the height and back which is very easy to use. Unfortunately the arms are non-adjustable. Of all the items, this was the most tricky to build. The screw threads were very tricky and not great but once you find your way, it’s fine.

The icing on the cake is the super desk lamp, that includes a wired / wireless phone charger, Alexa / Google control, and 12W LED with 5 x light modes / 7 x brightness modes. Great quality lamp, good adjustment, and smart too. The Lamp is great, with just one minor niggle (easily overcome), the cord is quite short.

A good quality, extended mouse-mat completes this super pack, and a great all-round set-up it is. Brilliant value, most definitely recommended.

I know I got this RockJam WFH kit for free to review via Amazon Vine, but I am aware that at the time of review (September 2021) this is listed on Amazon at 168.82. It is absolutely value for money.

Let me get out of the way the only three very minor negative comments. First, there was one washer missing, but not a huge issue. Second, there are 3 instruction manuals, one for the desk, one for the chair, and one for the desk lamp. The issue being, the chair instructions were a little unclear in my opinion, but I eventually made sense of them. Finally, the desk is actually 120cm in length and not 140cm as advertised, however, this was a better personally for me, as it wouldn’t have fitted in the room that I had earmarked for it. These are such minor issues, that they don’t impact this 5-star review.

Let me start with the packaging, everything is really well wrapped without being OTT. Nothing was scratched or chipped. I started off with the desk, and it was clear, I loved that the bolts and screws, etc, were in separate clip bags, but numbered to make it easier to know which items you needed, etc. It took me on my own around 20 minutes to put the desk together. Next, the chair, as mentioned the instructions were not that clear, but around 25 minutes later it was ready to sit on. The lamp took seconds to connect to my iPhone. The lamp can be used without an app, but if you wish, it can be controlled by your phone by downloading the Tuya app (although I already had the app for other wifi-controlled items in the house). From opening the box to being able to sit at the desk took me around an hour, and I am not a DIY person. I am sure if you are good at DIY or had a second person to help, you would get this up and running in 30 minutes.

The quality is far better than I imagined, given that I have paid this much just for a desk alone in the past, let alone a chair, lamp and laptop stand, etc. The desk is solid when built, I have decided to use it with my desktop. The lamp is great, solid aluminium with touch controls. The only minor negative about the lamp is that I wish it had a second hinge and not just one, but that is a minor issue. The light has various brightness settings which are handy depending on the activity I am doing (e.g. brighter for Teams call, and less bright for everyday use). The mouse mat is a great size, and I can fit a full-size numerical keyboard on it, and still have plenty of room for the mouse.

The biggest suprise for me, is given how relatively cheap this set is priced, is the quality of the chair. It did take a while to put together, but it was worth it. It isn’t the most ergonomic office chair I have sat in, but given how low the price is, it is very good to sit in, and work in for much of the day, lumber support is pretty good.

I am 6ft 1 and found the chair height adjustment, and the size of the desk was just right. I do think if you are taller, you might find the desk a little too low.

Overall, for the price this is perfect. It may well suit students going to university, or those WFH. I highly recommend it.
