Brilliant product for the money ,mine arrived without bag to keep frame in ,contacted customer service and the staff were fantastic and a new bag arrived within a couple of days .Good product .Good company.
Easy to erect – easy to pack away into a storage bag with wheels. Bought solid weights to hold down in windy weather and all ok so far. Very happy
Very good value for money.
Sturdy frame structure. Canopy is also very good and water proof material. Very easy to put up and take down even with just one person. Very hand bag with wheels. Would recomend this one above others in this price range.
Good sturdy frame.
The canopy was damaged and we had no problem getting the company to send a replacement canopy. This was so much easier than doing a return as we were able to leave the frame in place.
Good storage bag for over winte
I shopped around for a while and I’m glad I chose this. Perfect size for our patio. Provides good shade for us. The increased angle of the roof means the rain doesn’t gather in pockets. Corners and central potential rub points are reinforced. Seems very sturdy. Just what we were looking for.
I’d give this product 10 stars out of 5.
It’s superb quality, easy to erect, extremely sturdy and looks fab.
I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was for such a well made gazebo.
2nd one I’ve had, the last one was outside every single day for 3 years, survived storms ,sunshine bird attacks. New one got as it just got a split in it this week so great value- might bring this one in over winte
Fantastic product, even better that it was on special offer!!
Super easy to put up and the quality is 5*
Thick material that feels sturdy and you can feel that its waterproof.
Comes in a protective carry bag with wheels that is a huge bonus as its really heavy!
Very good gazebo, our previous gazebo got blown apart in heavy rain! This one is much sturdier and looks like it’ll withstand heavy rain. The frame is solid and the canvas covering looks strong. A bit of a struggle to fit back into the bag but a bit of effort and it’ll fit in with the canvas in place.
This is the third time I’ve bought some of these. They are so much better than the cheap pop-up gazebos and well worth the extra money (but are still affordable). The frame is all metal (so no plastic joints to break) and the extra weight makes them very stable. Very good customer support as well, a small defect with one was reported and a spare part arrived the next day.
Excellent item, much better than the one it was to replace. but too heavy for my wife and I to handle so sadly had to return it. So note that it weighs 21kg and folds down to approx 1300mm.
Well worth it, cheaper than others on the market and do just as good job, ours it out there now, mid winter to assist building work, still staying up, let’s hope it lasts, I got in the summer so time will tell.
Bought this one to replace one that blew away in the wind. This one seems much more sturdy, than my old one i think the fact it doesn’t have plastic joints will make a difference in terms of longevity. It was ready assembled except the canopy. Need to put that on before you stretch the frame out completely to make it easier. It was easy to put up with two of us. i do drop it down when it’s windy as seen in the photo. I can drop and raise it on my own but is easier with two. Although it has three heights we have not had to raise it beyond the first height as we can easily walk underneath it. It has been up during rain and has not leaked and the water runs off and doesn’t pool like it did in my old one. We have it on the deck with the legs weights, which instead of sand i used a 4pint milk carton filled with water which has done the job so far. It arrived missing a screw but customer services were very efficient and immediately posted us a new one. I have since bought another one for my mum, which arrived with a leg clip that was broken but again customer services immediately sent a new leg. So maybe their quality control
may need to improve, but they have rectified issues very quickly with no argument. I would recommend this product.
More expensive than other similar gazebos, BUT this is definitely the one to go for! Researched, took my time, before deciding to purchase, and I’m so glad I did. A solid, well made, heavier frame that is so easy to stretch out. Cover needs to be attached (via velcro and 4 clips) to frame when first used, so remember not to set the legs to their highest setting too soon. Once on, and central roof support is in, cover then just clips on around the edges, and that’s all there is to it. Push the internal corners “up” to lock into place, raise the legs, lock into place, and you’re done. Comes with guy ropes, and bags that velcro around each leg to add balast to. ( I put a couple of spare house bricks in each one of ours … perfect, and we didn’t need the ropes attaching for additional support, even though it was quite breezy). Took it down the next day (for security) and between us was less than 5mins and it was back in its wheeled storage bag …. comes with this too. Lower legs, release cover clips (dont take cover off completely) and drop the internal corners, then just walk the frame into the middle, concertina style. This is well worth the investment/spending more, and buying something that will last.
I ordered this but was not well at the time of delivery so it was put in the garage in the box. I opened it for the first time this weekend, only to find that the welds had broken on one of the legs which meant it cannot be erected, and I have obviously gone beyond the time I can return it, so really disappointed.
******Edit******. I contacted the company who sold it, not expecting that there was much that would happen as although I had only just opened it and found the defect, it was 11 months old. I have to say their customer service exceeded my expectations. I told them of the issue, had a response to my email within in the hour. They spoke to their warehouse and sent out to me a new leg for the gazebo that arrived the next day. Excellent customer service, and now that I have managed to put it up, it is very sturdy. Very pleased with it. Well done Customer Services.
We have had this on our patio for several weeks now, and really delighted with it. After several very heavy downpours I can vouch for the fact that the top is completely waterproof. Of course if its windy the rain will get blown in the side, but if the weather was that bad we wouldn’t be outside!
My husband put this together virtually unaided, we are not so sure how easy it is to bring down though! The seller naturally advises to not leave it out overnight. However we have attached the sandbags which remain permanent, and if the wind looks rather breezy we have used the guy ropes too with not a problem. But if strong winds were forecast we would bring it in. Definitely 5 stars except I have 1 little gripe, why on earth do the BLACK sandbags have brilliant WHITE velcro ties?? They looked awful, but nothing that a black marker pen couldn’t fix!
This is such a great piece of garden furniture. It’s so well thought through and stylish. I only purchased the frame with roof and in these warmer summer months it’s perfect. As rhe weather changes I may consider buying the sides and the heater which are “all seasons” products and compatible with this basic structure. The gazebo went up fairly easily though I would recommend you get help as you ideally need 2 people to extend it. It comes with guy ropes, pegs and a bag with wheels to pack the lot into when you’re done. I am really impressed. We sat out under it last night despite quite considerable rain. Price worked out less than a large parasol with base and frankly, I think this is way more stylish and more compact when packed away. All in all really pleased.
So far so good. Assembled it about a week ago and even though the instructions say to put it away each day, we haven’t. I bought some separate leg weights, the ones Amazon recommended. It seems to be fine staying put.
To put it up is simple but not quite as easy as the instruction video makes it out. But me and my daughter managed it. But to take it down each day would be a pain indeed. Not only that we don’t have it on a large open area, we have table and chairs and bench under it so I would have to move all that, then pull it down then move everything back again and repeat this twice a day. No thanks.
I guess if I hear a hurricane is coming I’ll take it down.
It is forecast to rain soon so will be able to rest how good it is against tha
I bought this gazebo to replace one purchased from Argos 10 years ago. I have to say that this is a very sturdy construction and I’d imagine much more weather resistant than our previous one.
The only thing preventing me giving it 5 stars and I’d only knock off half a star if it was possible, is that unlike most Gazebos, the canopy cover doesn’t include leg covers. This makes what is otherwise an attractive Gazebo look unfinished (not relevant if side panels are used).
That said it wouldn’t stop me purchasing another one.
So far so good. Have assembled it and it seems pretty secure. Time will tell. I will take it down when not using it though just in case as we live quite high above sea level. It is easy to fold away and into the bag. If you want a very thick frame you will have to spend at least 400. Therefore for the money this is worth buying.
Update after 2 months use. It has held up against wind and rain and I can’t fault it there. Ensure you weight it down correctly though and drop the height in high winds.
The only negative thing are the guy ropes. They have snapped. Terrible quality of rope.
First of all. This is very good quality and quite substantial construction.
Next. It’s going to take two of you to put it up unless you’ve got very long arms and very good strength.
Next. It really needs firmly securing to the ground or floor. I have screwed it onto some decking. It is very prone to movement even in slight wind. This means it’s not very manouverable as you’ld have to secure it again in each of the new positions. The guy ropes supplied aren’t really long enough and the small metal pegs suppled to hold the guy ropes aren’t substantial enough. If you’re putting this up on grass you will certainally need good weights on each corner (small gags for sand are supplied but they’re not really big enough.
Next. If this is to give shade on the rare very sunny days then remember the sun is not always directly overhead. In fact it is never DIRECTLY overhead so always shines in at various angles.
Next. The same applies to rain. It is waterproof as long as the rain comes straight down but inevitably rain falls at various angles due to wind so the whole gazebo area is not protected from rain all the time.
Finally. I am well pleased with this item. It’s worth the price and I hope to get good use out of it for a long time. I don’t take it down every night but, with previous Gazebos I have had, I haven’t been early enough to take them down for the Winter period. Heavy snow or Autumn gale force winds and torrential rain have destroyed them. Totally my own fault for pushing my luck.
Very good item and I’m glad I bought it. Much better quality than the cheap gazebos one is offered at DIY stores and some garden centres.
You get what you pay for as far as standards are concerned.
Firstly I put this gazebo up myself although 2 would be better. I replaced the tent peggs with high quality sturdy ones. Secondly this gazebo is high quality and craftsmanship. Ive left it erected for months (although company say not to) and it barely even moved a milimeter in strong winds and pounding rain. Totally waterproof roof, quality stitching, Strong velcro and of higher build quality and design of gazebos way more expensive. Also no plastic parts to break. I highly recommend this and i am pleased 100% with it. Oh also you get a quality bag with wheels for when you want to take it down for storage or picnic. I love this gazebo I want to write more. Took 10 minutes to erect, you can also buy sides direct from the company for 70 odd pounds. 4 bags to fill with sand and velcro to each leg of gazebo although if you get sturdy tent peggs you might not need them. Ps i do not work for the company although the way i have been talking this thing up might make you think so, I am just a very satisfied customer. The end.
Two things were a problem.
Obviously the screws were not tightened properly on the top section of the frame. One corner had a screw/washer/bolt totally missing looks like it was never fitted or fell out, the other corner had screw very loose never been tightened properly. Unfortunately when I received the package it was damaged with a punch hole, this caused a problem because things loose inside may have feel out.
This caused a problem as I was unable to put it up and had to source the required long screw/washer/bolt which was not easy due to the lack of going out to shops (Covid 19). I was going to contact the manufacturers but there was no contact details. To bring to there attention that the frame had not been tightened up and secured properly, nor able to get spare parts.
Very disappointed to find not constructed properly. Not expected to find it like that. Even took photos to send to the company but could not do that either.
I used to have something similar but not as good quality and decided that as the builders where coming it would be easier to have this outside the door for me to sort out the dogs before they come in the house. It’s brilliant. At 3m x 3m it is quite big and I’m looking forward to using it in the summer. Really great quality.
Highly recommended.
UPDATE I have been using this gazebo for over a year now. Although not continually it has been us most of the time. When my builders finished we used it to cover the workbench and tools in the garden as my husband finished the building. Autumn through to winter. He was out there cutting insulation and plasterboard for days with the rain pouring down outside and him underneath working away. Now all that is finished we have it back up on the new patio even though we have bought an expensive parasol. It is just so much nicer to use and everyone can sit underneath it easily.
It has faded but I have found that a lot of parasols do. It is still great.
And for anyone who wonders about how many people to put it up – I can put it up myself, it takes a while walking round to each leg and giving it a tug but I do it and it isn’t a problem just takes longer.
Highly highly recommended.
I bought this Gazebo to cover our Spa Tub at our house in Spain, but found that Amazon did not ship this to Spain. We had it sent to our house in the Uk, and then shipped it by DPD to our house in Spain. It arrived safely, and once we opened the box, we found it very easy to erect.
I cannot give an opinion on whether it is water resistant, as we’ve had no rain up to now. With regards to its sturdiness, it is hard to tell, other than I see it is made of a thin walled tubular steel. It is reasonable sturdy, but with a slight breeze the Gazebo does sway. Its design does seem to allow for a breeze or small gusts of wind, as its frame allows it to flex and bounce up and down its central column.
The Gazebo does cover with x material bagged weights, which you can fill with either sand or any other suitable weighted material, however we weren’t aware that it came with these so, at the same time of purchase, we bought a set of weighted feet that can be filled by either sand or water. The weights come in the form of pre moulded plastic sections that come in two halves that can be screwd together, wrapping around and holding down each of the four legs / feet.
Use as a sun shade for my kids to play under in the garden as well as seating and eating space in summer. Arrived intact. Easy to put up. Just spread, pull and clip. I bought the 3×3 and would need a wide space and other pair of hands to assemble, but straightforward to do.
Managed to spread & put roof on within 10 minutes with with my 3 kids all under 12. Only required my husband to prop it up as I am a tiny woman so couldn’t reach the top. The roof cover is sturdy heavy duty, good quality and water proof, but the legs are a bit wobbly and not as robust as the cover.
Came with wheeled carry bag, instructions, tent pegs, weight bags and rope. Filled weight bags with kids play sand and used rope and pegs to secure tent to ground.
Gazebo has held up in 14 mph winds, with rattling of legs, and mild swaying but stayed put. I don’t think it would hold up in winds above 15mph so I intend buying more secure ground pegs or just lowering it if high winds are forecast.
Overall very happy. Looks classy in beige, and gives excellent sun shade and privacy. Will definitely recommend. 5 star except for the legs which could have been sturdier.
We are very pleased with our new gazebo which looks good and is very sturdy. We watched the online video before attempting to erect it but we weren’t prepared for how difficult and heavy it was to put up. As our gazebo is the 3×3 mtr one it really could have done with 3 or 4 people to pull out the legs, to get the shape of the gazebo, before pushing the roof up into position. We found it was very hard work. We have the leg weights filled with sand but might fix it to the patio with the pre drilled holes in the foot plates of the legs. We also have used the guy ropes to secure the roof to the trellis on all four sides. It has been up for about 4 weeks and has not been a problem in some quite windy conditions. We do keep it on the lower position as the weather is quite changeable but will raise the roof when it improves.
UPDATE…..
We have since bought another heavy duty gazebo but found the roof canopy was not the heavy duty one but a lighter weight one. It had small holes in the canopy when unpacked. I emailed the supplier with photos and was sent a replacement which was heavy duty.
Amazon have obviously sent the wrong item when I ordered…..Check yours out when received.
Having ordered a cheaper gazebo, which failed to meet expectations on every level and with a large family barbeque imminent, returned it and ordered this one.
It arrived on time and so far has more than satisfied all my expectations.
I’m female and close on 60 but my friend, also female and I had it up in less than 15 minutes.
I suspect next time we’ll do it in 10 as we won’t have to position the canopy which I was happy to leave on.
It is possible that our horrible experiences with the previous cheaper one gave us an insight but even so, it was easy.
The overall quality couldn’t be faulted and having had tents in the past fully anticipate quite a few years use as the stress points at which the structure meets the canopy are reinforced.
The carrying bag was damaged on delivery but that was down to the carrier and the customer service was excellent with a replacement arriving withing days of contact.
We secured the legs as recommended (essential in any wind) with the sandbags and it withstood a fair bit of gusty wind and very heavy rain.
Everyone at the barbeque loved it and indeed since I’ve had a few enquiries as to where I got it….Wonderful Amazon again!
When taking it down we anticipated a more difficult job, allowing for the weight of the substantial canopy, but it was a dawdle.
Ten minutes and it was in the bag….and fitted in easily. Wheeled to the car and fitted in at an angle across the back seats and boot.
Leaving my mothers, I saw a display in the local shopping centre car park by sea scouts….low and behold the very same canopies in use.
I reasonably assume theirs are taken up and down constantly.
If I have one very small niggle it’s the use of white velcro, where grey or black would be less obtrusive, but that’s it.
Update – a month later, 2 big family BBQ’s and it’s still fantastic. Easily transported 70 miles then home again.
Sister in law is buying one, as are some cousins.
With this very wet summer has enabled a lot a fun outdoors.
Will never be without it now.
