Die Rolle wurde schnell und gut verpackt geliefert. Beim Auspacken und auch Verarbeiten sollten man idealerweise Handschuhe und lange/robuste Kleidung tragen – die “offenen” Seiten des Gitters sind sehr spitz/scharfkantig und hinterlassen sehr unangenehme Kratzer in der Haut. Verarbeitung ansonsten mit – in meinem Fall – einer Metallschere und einem Dremel absolut problemlos. Die mehrfach berichteten Qualittsmngel (z.B. unsauber oder gar nicht verschweite Drahtkreuzungen) kann ich nicht besttigen. Unsere Lieferung (bestellt im Juli 2022) war einwandfrei.
Das Geflecht ist insbesondere ideal fr die Verwendung in einem Kleintierstall. Der Draht ist dicker als bei anderen Netzen und so fr Raubtiere nicht durchbeibar.
Das gitter ist sehr stabil. Habe ihn fr eine hhner Kfig benutzt

Der Hersteller hat mir eine zweite 25m Rolle zustzlich als Ersatz zukommen lassen. Die alte Rolle mit der ich angefangen habe musste ich nicht zurck schicken.
Ich konnte also mein Kaninchenstall fertig stellen.

Alle paar Meter sind produktionsfehler, Lcher. Ich habe es irgendwie geschafft mit flicken die Lcher zu stopfen. Verkufer Support ist fr den Ar… die ganze Rolle zurck schicken oder es lassen. Von 25m konnte ich um die 7m nicht verwenden wegen der Lcher. Ich wrde es dann doch lieber im Baumarkt kaufen, dort ist die Rckgabe leichter.
Ich hoffe es rostet nicht, das wird die Zeit zeigen.

I had made up some aviary panels that is going to house budgies and quail, I’ve used the mesh to cover the panels and it has worked brilliantly.

This product is very east to use for many different purposes. My chicken shed is now covered in this mesh to prevent predator access. I recommend it.
Fr unser Hochbeet habe ich dieses Gitter als Whlmausschutz bestellt. Die Verarbeitung ist grausig wegen der hohen Verletzungsgefahr durch spitze Drhte, aber das liegt in der Natur der Sache. Ansonsten ist die Qualitt gut, der Preis noch im Rahmen fr derartige Gitter.
This is a good quality, sturdy, fairly small-squared galvanised metal wire. The shaping helps to give this a bit of firmness and rigidity – making it perfect for building a rabbit run. I attached this to a wooden frame I made to make a run: the sides are really nice and strong, much better than the last one I made (using thinner, hex-shaped chicken wire).

Ordered this wire mesh to put into a protective frame for our raised beds. I made the frame from wood and then stapled the meshing place. Very easy job. And it works very well as it keeps the rabbits out! Can recommend.
Perfect rodent proof fencing for my chicken run. Easy to cut with wire cutters but strong enough to withstand rats and foxes.
I love my veg. plants, (brassica). Cats, pigeons, cabbage whites et al seem to be quite attracted to them too. I can’t allow cat poo in my raised beds.
After a few attempts over the last few years I’ve settled on this defence. Roofing battens, (don’t do what I did, turn up at the yard expecting 3 foot 7 inch when they’re 3.7 meters), the thinnest decking screws, some galv. U nails and this wire mesh. Decent pilot holes for no splits.
The mesh is rigid enough that I used less wood, I know the preservative in the wood is not as bad as it used to be. The mesh squares are a good size to keep out cabbage whites. The mesh is wide enough to be of a useful size that I don’t need to cut and have joins. All my raised bed lids are 55 cm high. 5 wood then 45 mesh the 5 wood. High enough to allow decent growth but also ok for me to lean into to fiddle about. I use a netting across the top.
I’m glad I settled on this after many attempts with plastic mesh or metal mesh that rusted and / or looked terrible. These lids actually look quite good.

It does cost a little much, however the metal mesh is much better than the plastic mesh as some animals and birds can peck through the plastic mesh, but no the metal mesh. On Top of this you can bend the metal mesh into shape, which is great for growing plants
Used to build an aviary style enclosure for bunnies. It’s just the right size (the gaps) for this purpose, as it will keep any unwanted guests out. It was easy to cut and we used heavy duty staples to affix it to a wooden frame.
It looks very neat and will hopefully outlive the rabbits!

The mesh is just what I wanted really, I accepted the offer the review this product because I need to build a fence around my terrace to keep my toddler safe. Was really easy to construct. I use wire cutters to cut it to size but it would have been easier if I had some long handled bull croppers. The mesh is so heavy but perfect for what I needed.

Ideal metal rust resistant wire mesh, which has a number of more obvious use and less obvious but just as useful applications. great for building all manner of small animal enclosures, fencing and plant protection from damage. comes as a 1m wide roll upto 20 meters long can easily be cut to small dimensions with a suitable wire cutter. I am currently try to use this as cover for gutters to prevent large debris such as leaves from blocking drains and gutters. Overall this has been very useful strong but easy to cut when needed, well priced for what you get.

This is so usefull, so many things it can be used for like… chicken coops, rabbit fencing and cages, fruit trees and so much more!
We have a long garden and if we get too much rain we end up with a pond at the end of our garden, as we have 2 dogs we have to partition the end of the garden off to keep the dogs out of it, otherwise we end up with 2 wet dogs ploughing through the house! It did the job perfectly, then once it had dried up we just rolled it up for the next time.
You get alot of galvanized wire in this box, will last us forever, its 1 metre by 20 metres. It’s easy to use and can be cut easily with a decent sharp pair of scissors.
My son took some too cause his rats kept escaping so he heeded to go around the cage with this wire, it solved the issue, no more rats escaping.
I can highly recommend this galvanized wire for many many uses!

The 20 m long x 1 m wide roll arrived in a sturdy cardboard outer marked ‘HEAVY BOX’.
The quality wire mesh is secured by an inter-weaved, retaining wire (images below refer) and wrapped in a transparent, strong plastic-type layer but be wary of the end springing up and the roll unwinding when cutting said wire.
Easier to manipulate with 2 people, the mesh is relatively easy to cut with quality wire cutters, in my experience.

Very strong mesh/netting. Could easily be used for animal enclosures, like chicken coops and rabbit hutches. Living in the countryside we have many many creatures that visit the garden. We have used this to cover our fences, protecting our garden from hungry critters!

Very good quality galvanized mesh hardware cloth. Is strong and with little squery gaps which stops any unwanted creatures to enter to your property and your animals. Mesh is 1m tall and 10m long which lets us to do most of it. Our side fence is made of metal with large gaps and often we can see some animals /pets going through it. Until now- since we added the extra mesh to the side of the fence, we finally got out garden back. No more unexpected visits.
When dealing with the mesh we need to be very careful with raw pointy edges, especially when we cut it to right size and nail it to the wood or other posts.
Price wise is great value for money, quality is brilliant, I’m really pleased with overall look, functionality and its value. Recommended
This galvanised wire sheet is very useful for lots of things on the allotment. It is great for meshing fruit trees and also as temporary bulb protection. It is strong stuff do you need to wear protective gloves and use wire cutters to get it to the size you need. Good quality and value for money too.

So i have one cheeky hen which keeps on escaping. Using this hardware cloth i was able to create a little extra height on my back wall to just make sure the chickens don’t have me chasing them around the streets. This happened on new years day and it was the least fun i’ve had all year.
I did have a small issue. When i first unclipped it, the tension on the roll was released and it was very painful on my hands. I think i was lucky to get away without a major injury. It was a violent unraveling.
The holes in the cloth are very small which is not hugely important for my fencing but if you need a good tight mesh then this is for you.
One thing i have to comment on and it is the reason it is missing a star is the cost. It is woefully expensive compared to competitors, even stores are stocking this for a lot less. So it is expensive.
Besides that, my opinion of the hardware cloth is extremely positive. It is quality, high quality.

I used this to build a chicken coop. The quality is really excellent, much better than the ones from the well known DIY chain. Strong and well coated. It is easy to bend into shapes, also easy to cut. The hens are happy, I am too. The foxes are not. But who cares.

This is a really high quality roll of wire. I use it for securing my fruit cage at ground level. I have had a number of problems getting the base of the current plastic netting animal and bird proof. This bumper roll provides a much sturdier level of protection. It is pretty heavy duty stuff and easier to handle and work with it there are two people working it. I comes in a roll and once released its natural reaction is to start to unwind.
This is a 20m roll and at 59.99 at the time of this review I think it is remarkable value.
I ordered this for replacing the wire mesh on my rabbit hutch door and outdoor pens.
It is a very good quality galvanised squared wire mesh ideal for the fronts of hutches and outdoor pens, gives good visibility into hutches and is easy to cut with wire cutters, staple into timber using a staple gun. Once in place, it maintains its shape without sagging and will support the weight of typical 1 litre water bottles with wire loops securing them in place. It is also especially good for use on the base of rabbit pens to prevent female rabbits burrowing in the lawn or trying to dig their way out. Larger circular chicken mesh puts them at risk of catching their toes in it while the smaller 6.3mm squared mesh (pictured alongside) can be more abrasive on their paws and lead to sore hocks.
The 20m x 1m roll is an ideal size for multiple 12′ hutches each requiring four x 50cm tall panels and will allow all 9 hutches to have new doors making it economical in use while a second roll will create secure pens. The wire alone isn’t going to be fox-proof in high-risk areas but pens can be made more resistant by stapling a layer of mesh to both the inside and outside of pet pen frames with a minimum 25mm gap between.
Although it is early days, this galvanised mesh appears to be very good quality so I am not expecting it to rust, tear or crumble outdoors exposed to all weather and a lot of rain. However, if after a few years it doesn’t meet my expectations then I will update this review accordingly. In the meantime, I am very happy with it and would happily order more as needed and was impressed to see it arrive intact, well-packed in a cardboard box, unlike some other rolls which have arrived with no protection at all.

Great for building pet runs, keeping animals from your veg garden.
I bend the wire to make pot covers to keep squirrel and mice off my pots of spring bulbs. Use them every year until the bulbs start to emerge then they can be removed (put into storage) to allow the plants to grow up. Can also be pinned on the ground and lifted when bulbs start to show.
A versatile, strong wire mesh that’s easy to cut with wire cutters and a price that would be difficult to beat.
This wire is perfect to use for protection of animals such as chickens or for fruit cages.
My experience of using chicken wire as we always called it is a long one. This wire is the small square type and is heavier quality than the alternative small one with hexagonal shapes so is the better of the two if you want it to have a bit of a shape even without a frame. With a frame it’s tougher and will resist knocks of say a fox trying to get in and provided you take it down and across the ground a foot or so they won’t be able to dig under it. I like to add some u shaped tent securing wire pegs to mine every few feet for added measure.
This also works to reduce hole size of a large catio from an inch to around a cm. Thereby removing any chance of cat to cat or person to cat physical contact.
I cut myself using it as wasn’t wearing gloves stupidly. So next time will remember that. It’s a large heavy roll and flicked out at me.
It cuts easily with wire clippers or even pruning shears which is easier for long stretches like this one, and I find it easiest even if just initially, to use a spool of wire and make 4 inch or whatever length needed to fasten it to where it’s going and either twist and go or use it to hold it as it’s pingy while you bang the large flat headed roof nails in to the frame or the u clips if that’s what you are using.
I used 5 metres of so of it so far and found it unrolled itself and now won’t go back in the box. I’m going to enlist some help and wear gloves both of us and reroll this pingy wire back into it to keep it nice for storage before next use!

This is a good-sized roll of galvanised wire and is going to be used for a multitude of things out in my garden such as fencing to keep the geese off of my veg garden and also replacing older mesh.
