Android 10.0 Car Stereo Double Din DAB Car Radio 7 Inch Touch Screen Car Audio in Dash Head Unit 2 Din Bluetooth GPS WiFi USB SD AM FM RDS Phone Mirror with Backup Camera
The radio is built very well.
It has many high-tech features including Bluetooth touch screen and sat nav.
The screen layout is nice and smart and maximizes its size capacity. The actual assembly of the radio is very complicated for a newbie and can take a long time.
Don’t be fooled by the price, this is an excellent car stereo. I’ve had it now for 8-9 months and I have had no problems or issues with it. I installed wifi in my car and it is even better now. This has the full android software and it is comparable to having a cellphone in your dash. The rear can is similar to stock, works great and is clear. You can place an sd card in to hold just about anything, watch movies, music etc. You can download almost everything from Google play store. The navigation is awesome and is default to google maps. I would recommend getting wifi, however, it’s great stand alone also.
This did not have Android 10.0, it has Android 9.x.
This is an oversized European double din and not a standard American car double din size.
There were no installation instructions and no bezel.
Nice head unit. Easy install and functionality. Down side the boot time is a lot longer then Id like and ecpected. Would love a different look for radio face and option to customize buttons and home screen.
Great value for the money. Here’s an installation note. The RCA line level outputs are unique in that they are pre split with the sub woofer output. This means that the bass is rolled off from the mains, and the sub is passing only low frequencies as it should. Problem is that my factory Bose system is expecting full range output from the RCA left and right. Consequently, I had no bass response.
I have 2 solutions for this.
1). Get 3 y cables. One that is a single male to two female to split the sub output, and two that are single female to two male, to combine the main output and the sub output into the amp left and right.
2). I also tried using the speaker front left and right wires, placed into a female RCA adapter. This actually worked great without overdriving the inputs to the amp. There are built in volume settings for each source so you can balance the signal between radio, AUX, BT, Phone, and video.
Furthermore there is a factory service menu that allows further balancing and other features. Go to settings, infotainment, scroll to the bottom to click on about, and then hit settings icon on th right. The passcode is 8888. Note that anything you change requires saving, which hard reboots the head unit, losing your user EQ settings and balance.
Once I discovered this, I got full control over my installation.
I honestly don’t miss Apple Car Play. I can use whatever app I want for navigation maps with the built in Navigation software. I chose Raindar, as it shows a satellite Google map, with traffic and real time weather radar overlay! WiFi is required to run that, which I have full time in the car.
If the info about the audio out being EQ’d and the service settings were documented, I would have given this unit 6 stars.
I wound up buying another Mercedes Bose amp thinking it had quit. Wasted money for me, education for you. Enjoy
I was having issues with the u at it at first turns out it was a speaker problem nice u it i ipgraded the camera for better placement and better angle for cheap the acreen can be scratched easy but good value overall
Works as described. Dont bother trying to get support from the manufacture. Amazon support was very helpful. The manufacture has no clue about their own product. Having said that, the radio is amazing for the price. Sound quality is better than the stock head unit WIFI, BT, RAIDO, VIDEO all work well. Navigation is good. I will update if I have any issues
8 APRIL 2020. Love the unit however it seems to just power off on it’s own randomly. I’ve been over my connections three times. It’s not my work. I’m past the return window so I’ll live with it. Its still my favorite head u it I’ve ever owned. Just wish it works properly.
First of all, this stereo went in easily, and with the use of a PAC-audio interface I still have full steering controls, amp, etc. There were a couple of tricks to getting this stereo to work the way I wanted though. I’ll describe them as a reference for other users:
1) be warned that if your car has an amp, you need to go into the stereo’s audio settings and tell it there is an amp, otherwise it won’t put out a signal. I don’t remember the exact menu, but it shouldn’t be hard to find.
2) I experienced low quality radio reception at first -poor FM reception and no AM except static- until I discovered a somewhat hidden setting to fix that. Go into settings>car info>about device>HMI To access this menu, there are two access codes. pass code 8888 gives you access to a menu that controls various low-level functions. Among these, make sure the stereo is set to US as location (or your country). Then, another item called “sense” adjusts the radio receiver sensitivity. Lowering this number increases reception, bringing in more stations. If you have many strong signals in your area, a higher number probably gets rid of cross-bleed between stations.
I mentioned a second code for the device menu. If you use the key code 5678 instead of 8888, you will access some other generic stereo settings (I don’t recall what they were, and didn’t use them, but you may find them useful.) To be honest, I discovered this entirely by accident because I used another common security code from a different manufacturer. It just happened to work!
Other than these little configuration details, the stereo looks and sounds great. No complaints at all!
I was a bit hesitant on messing with my car at first but the tech people at EinCar was very helpful. Nevertheless I recruited a friend of mine who is an electrician for help but the overall installation process was pretty straight forward. Happy that I don’t have to stare at our Jetta’s black-and-white radio any more. Will report back with post-installation pics once I get a full experience out of it.

The screen is very clear, the operation is smooth, and I am satisfied.

Love the little thing. Hope it last longer than the HIzpo
