Followed another review on here to leave it running at the top of the stairs, we’ve had it for 2 days so far and it has pulled 2 loads of water out of the air, all windows in the house now have no condensation, we did have to leave all the doors open to allow air to move.
Costs 2 a day to run at 33p/kWh, single pane house. We got this from the ansio website, and are extremely impressed with the product.
We do have very dry mouths though, and this is only at 50% humidity level.
Does its job very well. Needs a handle though for moving about.
I got the humidifier for my kitchen as the humidity level goes over 70% from April to October. The only issue I had was with the timer as I thought that you can set it to run for 2 to 3 hours then stop and start again later, what it actually does is set it for up to 24h to run and then stops completly. That is why I had to use a plug timer that does a better job for my needs, however that will make the child lock feature redundant, this is what I was hopping to use and one of the reasons I have chosen this model.
wow, what can I say, I have been blown away with just how great this unit is and after owning another make that was larger and noisier this is a perfect size and omits very little noise in comparision?
I have it set up in the bedroom and it is so quiet on the low-speed setting you can sleep without even knowing it’s there doing its work and what work it does!! Our bedroom most often at night in winter has a humidity of around 65 – 75% but this is now kept down to a constant 50-55% all night with little effort. It is well built not too heavy it’s hard to move and is easy to use and empty. 5/5
Its heavy, not too quiet, but does the job like a champ. And i cant say im not pleased with my purchase. 5 stars for the price – quality ratio.

This was my first product and the result is Very good. Indication, water level alert all perfect.
Noisier than our old one, but extracts an amazing amount of water. Easy to move and fairly attractive to look at.
The fan noise is low such that you can use the room while it is on.
I was quite surprised by how well this does collect water form the environment.
It is a little complicated on some of the settings, but like anything once you know it pretty simple. It has a useful timer setting and it will automatically stop if the water tank is full.
Only small complaint is that when it on standby it will do a white flashing light so might effect your sleep.
Spending further hours researching the different types of dehumidifiers. I could not decide between buying two cheap (35) dehumidifiers (1 for each bedroom) or this. In the end, obviously, I went with this one and I am so glad I did.
The first afternoon it cleared around 4 litres of water from my son’s room. The next day was the first time his windows did not have condensation.
It did the same in my bedroom, the next day.
We have cleared around 50 litres of water out of the air in the first 4 days.
You can actually feel the change in humidity when you walk from one room to another (a room that has been dehumidified and one that hasn’t)
I’ve always had a dehumidifier, they are usually heavy and noisy! This one is perfect.
What impress me the most was their customer service, the response time is instant my machine unfortunately had a leak somewhere in the bottom, the customer service team replied instantly and offered to send out a replacement straight the way. Honestly I have never experienced such amazing service in UK BROVO!
Performs well and is quiet enough to leave on in the bedroom overnight. A nice feature is that you can see how much water has been collected in the tank
Tried small dehumidifiers which weren’t worth their weight in plastic, this is completely different. I’m always amazed how much water this thing pulls out of the air.
I purchased this because of a water spill on carpet, after days of letting the room air out I got this and left it on overnight, it was nearly full the next morning with stinky stale water and the smell had completely disappeared in the room.
Energy efficiency no idea so I’m giving it 5 stars for everything for an emergency clean up.
Noise level it can be a bit loud if it’s next to you and you’re trying to watch TV but I’ve only used it on the highest fan setting. Low speed is fine, high speed is fine if you don’t mind turning the TV up.
We always get bad condensation on Windows in the winter months since buying this we have had no condensation would definitely recommend to everyone a****
It is big and heavy, but works perfectly. It shows humidity % and you can observe how quickly it goes down when the dehumidifier is on.
I use it while repainting my bathroom. I managed to put second coat of paint within 2 hours from the 1st one as it dried so fast.
After owning a desiccant for few years I was a bit hesitant to go with a compressor type one. After few days of use I can’t say anything negative. Not loud at all (my original reason for hesitancy), dehumidifies and dries clothes fast, while using less electricity. Can’t confirm the 12l/day as I only use it to maintain 50-55% humidity in my house but it’s getting there quick. Like the display of humidity which I haven’t had on the desiccant type. Could live with an Ioniser function or a rotating louvre to direct the blast to the clothes being dried but for this price this puppy is good. Let’s see how long it’ll las
I love everything about it, no noise at all, my flat windows has no more condensation.
Quite a big machine, but doesn’t look too industrial, sitting in the corner of the bedroom. Dehumidifies really well. I have it on during the day, and off at night, as it would be too noisy for me to sleep with, though I am a light sleeper. Also , have it draining outside, which has worked well, so all I have to do is press the button on in the morning, and off at night. Unfortunately, you can’t use a timer, as it resets the settings when turned off at the plug.
The various functions are not easy to understand and the touch button operation doesn’t always respond immediately so you end up switching it on and off many times without meaning to
Extremely simple to use (both operation and tank emptying) relatively quiet and works well. Difficult to fault this item.
Sucks a decent amount of water out per day, emptying it around 3 times every 2 days, would recommend
So easy to use. People said it was a problem emptying it but I don’t know what they are on about as it’s so simple and we get to use the water in our steam iron.

I was pleasantly surprised by this product. The design and quality are excellent and so is the performance.
I put this in my basement to help with air circulation and the drying out of paint jobs etc. Worked well and helped air the rooms even when they were not being used very much.

Small but mighty and does a good job, currently running in a basement and has lowered in a reasonably sized space humidity to high 60s from a constant 90+ % it’s drying out the walls as well – hitting 18+ litres a day consistently but hoping that will drop

Turned out to be a great wee find ! Works really well , we have ours in the main room and it’s really a lot quieter than our old one ! In fact I’ve checked to see if it’s on!
I had water droplets, mould and water marks all over the room, a bedroom 12 feet by 9 feet. The carpet, mattress and even door were damp through an ongoing leak in the roof. I was hesitant to buy such a costly device but I am so glad I did, the water marks in the ceiling have completely dried out, the carpet is no longer damp, this device is collecting 12 litres daily still even after weeks of use so the water must have been embedded everywhere, not just the walls etc. It isn’t too noisy and easy to empty and replace in the machine. It’s a real work horse of a product and I smile knowing it is a product that does what is advertised because that is a rarity in my life experience. I must add that the roof is no longer leaking so that has stopped the continuation of the source issue.
If this is what you’re looking for it tops the bill. The amount of condensation it collects is unbelievable.

good point it removes alot more then the smaller type dehumidifier with the 500ml tanks as with those i could only get about 250ml a day
The main reason for buying it was to use it in my garage where I have a TV, fitness equipment (including weights) and also wallpaper on the walls.
I could feel damp in the air most days and certain parts of the walls had sections where wallpaper was starting to peel slightly or find air bubbles underneath. On top of that, when I went in the garage in the mornings to work out, you could feel a slight dampness on the iron weights. Like dew on grass early in the morning.
After using this dehumidifier each day the dampness in the air has gone. The weights are bone dry. The peeling wallpaper has been reattached and no more has peeled and no more air pockets underneath the wallpaper have appeared.
The amount of water it collects is amazing and it’s done the same for the loft.
I will eventually buy another one to keep in the loft full-time, rather than keep moving the one I have around all the time. It’s easy to move around on its wheels but reasonably heavy if you want to lift it up to any great height.
I can’t rate this highly enough. It’s made such a difference to our home and is so easy to use. The amount of water it collects really does show how well it works and over time, shows it’s great value for money.
Does exactly as it states it should , bought this to replace a small dehumidifier I had purchased prior to this. The results are brilliant as it collects so much moisture, has dramatically reduced the time it takes to dry washing inside.
On a plus point the water it collects is perfect to use in a steam generator iron too which stops limescale build up.

This thing is absolutely amazing, my house suffers from mould and water running down the walls. This machine stands on the landing and sucks all the moisture out the air drying all the bedrooms.
I brought this for my out house as it always seems to be damp. But since we have been using this at night for several hours and no longer have condensation on the windows and doors.
We have had an issue for ages with condensation in our garage so I decided to try out a dehumidifier and settled on this one after doing a bit of research. It was very easy to set up, I just plugged it in and set the humidity level we were aiming for. It basically solved the problem overnight, stone window sills that had had water running down them are now dry. I empty it every days as it nearly fills the tank overnight, it is doing a brilliant job, I thoroughly recommend it.
The product is slightly hard to understand at first with the buttons.
In terms of functionality. It works very well, almost too well.

It’s quieter than my 500ml one. Has collected over 2 litres of water daily, am amazed with it. I don’t need to put on the heater anymore as it blows out heat from the top. The walls and corners are bone dry and the musky smell is gone. I keep it on 24 hours a day. Fantastic gadget.
I bought this item because my flat was a bit damp (I had steamy windows in the morning, but no black mould), and I am very, very satisfied with it – I can not believe the amount of water this item has literally sucked out of thin air since I have started using it.
After washing some clothes (which would normally take at least 3 days to dry in front of the heater), I used the laundry program overnight and the next morning my clothes were pretty much touch dry. Unbelievable.
I chose this model over the smaller ones because my living room is relatively big, but I was a bit scared to have spent the extra money for nothing…. I definitely haven’t!
Note that the item is a bit noisy and blows quite cold air so I wouldn’t recommend trying to sleep next to it while it works for example. But other that that, I would 100% recommend it.

Currently loving this dehumidifier. The skylights don’t drip condensation anymore, and the doors have returned to their proper size and close properly again! It works really well, although it’s been running for nearly a week straight and the house still isn’t down to it’s set 40% humidity (but that could just be the house).
It’s quiet enough to have outside of the bedrooms and not worry about sleep disturbances, but I wouldn’t have it in the same room as me when I’m trying to watch tv.
I’ve given it a 1-star for warmth because it doesn’t provide any heat (but it’s not supposed to). Definitely happy with the purchase 🙂
Excellent Dehumidifier. Unpackaged and used and within 8 hours in my bedroom had taken humidity from 65% to 35%. Filled half the tank with water. Well recommended. Easy to move due to castors.
its a bit noisy, so not in the bedroom anymore. it was pulling about 10 litres of water out of the air a day. No more black mould and mildew and condensation. One unit just about covering the whole 5 bedroom house, if i move it about every other day. nice and heavy and solid looking unit, very pleased with it.

This machine works really well and is very easy to operate. I specially love the cloth drying option which I use in the bathroom where I hang my washing. The cloth are dry in a view hours. The noise is minimal and I can use it during the night in the bedroom. I highly recommend this machine. Another great feature are the wheels which makes it so easy to place the dehumidifier where you want it.
Could do clearer information about max room size coupled with relating factors re this.
been using it for few days and its ok does the work. you can move it around. the buttons are a bit confusing an need instructions in front of me me when setting programs.
My bathroom vent stopped working as I live in a ground floor flat I started to notice quite a lot of mould in my bathroom ceiling and moisture in the air. I use the dehumidifier nearly every other day and honestly, I’m always so surprised how much water it collects and how much water is in the container before I need to empty it.

The dehumidifier is doing a great job in a bedroom that has suffered with condensation and black mould for years. It took just hours to fill the 12 litre container with an amazing amount of water. It now has the room down to an acceptable level and the mould has not returned. It is a little noisy on high fan but doesn’t keep us awake. Delighted with this produc
Unit needed for my cabin man cave. This is almost perfect…..but beware if you want to use the permanent drain pipe. The one supplied with the unit is pretty much unusable as is it just not long enough. Fortunately, I had a piece of suitable hose that was more than long enough and it works perfectly. Why they include that little piece of hose with such an otherwise capable little machine I don’t know. Bottom line, the unit is great.

We have owned several dehuminifiers over the years but none as efficient as this model. It can drain up to 14 litres of water from a room per day. It’s so pretty quiet compared to our previous machines
My partner and I live in a single glazed old warehouse building and as such the temperature difference causes an enormous amount of condensation to the point where most mornings we would come into our living room to find water pooling on the windowsill and windows coated with moisture.
Unwilling to keep leaving the windows open in the colder months we bought this product and after the first night we were astounded by the results. Our living room is a LARGE room with high ceilings and this easy to move and use unit despite being fairly small is able to remove the moisture and get the humidity below 50% every single night even with a large amount of plants and washing being in the room.
The Ansio one is excellent cant believe the water it is collecting. It has excellent features with a quiet fan and the wheels are a bonus for moving it around. Although it is quiet light in weight if you needed to lift it .
So easy to use and empty and it looks stylish too.
So pleased I have purchased another one, but disappointed the day after it was 20 cheaper.
Arrived promptly, used to dry out a wet concrete floor where there was a leak under cupboard for some time.

Works well, simple to use with a variety of settings. Less noisy than another one I purchased a year earlier and is more energy efficient, does produce noticeably less warmth than the other one which is fine for where I want to use it.

Bought to cut the moisture in our cellar/gym as there was a bit of mold developing on some of the equipment.
Works superbly – no more mold, and the gym is a much more pleasant place to exercise now.
The cellar is properly underground (carved into a hillside), so we run this continuously – needs emptying (2.3ltr) first thing in the morning + last thing at night. Definitely worth the money.
Update [13/8/2020]:
Annoyingly, after working really well since the end of May, a couple of days after I wrote the original review, the dehumidifier stopped working. Fan ran, no error code – but no longer extracts any water. Contacted the seller, awaiting a response.
It arrived late yesterday so only had time to run it for a few hours but considering my fault did not register as being very damp it still pulled a fair bit of water out
Having run it today for half a day I have half a a tank full so it works really well
It’s not noisy I forget it is running it’s small easy to move and quick and easy to empty the tank its everything i could want in a dehumidifier and with a two year warranty it’s a bargin
Clothes drying has not been tested as I have a tumble drye
We had a major burst pipe and the under-stairs cupboard took the worst of it. Damp walls as well I reckon because the leak had been happening for ages we reckon.
This has been running very quietly in the under-stairs cupboard sucking up the moisture. Doing about 2 litres a day on slow fan setting. It’s dried out all the floorboards and I reckon it’s sucking the moisture out of the damp walls as well.
Much cheaper to buy this than rent one.

We bought this due to a leak from a flat upstairs causing mouldni. Our bedroom. Being a ground floor flat, we rarely open windows, which means this product is key for us.
Removes a remarkable amount of water Ina short space of time. Easy to clean and use. Highly recommended for small flats/spaces.
I’m addition, our laundry dries so much quicker with this in the room.
Such a great product , zaps all the moisture out the room. My house is damp in general because of the basement and high ceilings , I empty it 2x a day. House is dryer and warmer now.
bought for my sister who had a major condensation problem. within 2 days it had made the whole flat feel like a different place. she is not tech savvy and found it so easy to set up and use. she is so pleased with the item.
It worked well …… for a couple of weeks and then stopped collecting water …. fan still ran, motor worked but didn’t dry the air!
I thought I would give the company a fair chance (things go wrong …. it is how you fix it that matters)
After several long phone calls with them verifying I was not in fact a numpty and had it switched on propperly …. we entered a phase of delaying tactics (or they just had no clue of what was wrong and did not want to believe what I was saying) I gave up on the phone calls and progressed with e-messaging …….. and after a fortnight of me being asked to be patient, take photo and video evidence and wait for them to pass it to the correct team for “Action” …… I gave up!
One short message to Amazon and the refund was in my account the same day I posted it back …. free of charge via my local Hermes pick up point!
I give Amazon 10/10 …….. and Ansio 2/10 (it worked well when it did work)
The fault was (I believe) a loss of gas from the compressor, which would have needed regassing to work and repair to stop it repeating! All fairly obvious when you know how it works …… a shame Ansio lost all interest after the sale! I think they will rethink their 2 year warranty on this!
Chose another dehumidifier! ….. as I have done.
This has been running flat out since it arrived. It hasn’t missed a beat. Very good bit of kit and am buying a second for upstairs. Only improvement could be a measuring scale on the collection tank, but that’s just because I’m a bit nerdy and like to see how much is being collected.

I got this because of a condensation in my brick built outhouse. It’s so far has solved the problem. I did have to plumb it into the drain since the tank filled up every day and needed emptying. If you do this, you will need to buy a plastic hose. The one provided it very short and I guess is only useful if you are planning to drain it into a bucket.
The running noise seems ok, but you can definitely hear it. It’s not something that you would want running all night in a bedroom.
So far its used about 0.5 kWh per day. I have it set to come on when the humidity goes about 65% (it’s very rainy at the moment).

Extremely happy with this unit, within 2 days brought the humidity down from a constant 70% to 45%. I set the humidity setting on the Ansio to 40% during the day — this allows for my better half’s night-time snoring to raise the humidity to 50% overnight! The unit stops when the desired/set humidity reading is reached — setting is easily adjustable. We don’t run it overnight, however the fan, on low setting is unobtrusive and it would be possible to have it running while sleeping. No more condensation, and black mould gone!
The unit has loads of functions but have only really used the humidity control setting — it has extracted loads of water. The units reading is within 2% of a separate hygrometer, other units I researched had comments that the humidity readings were inaccurate.
Really couldn’t be happier. Got a very nice thank you mail from Ansio, not the usual “please leave a review, its important to us” — costs nothing but nice to receive. I haven’t had to contact their customer service yet, and hopefully won’t have to!!
I have been with Amazon for years and have spent 1000’s — this is my most impressive purchase — game changer.

A compact unit, it is working well and is excellent value for money it is a little heavy to handle but once in place you can wheel it around when needed .It seems so far to be an brilliant purchase .
This dehumidifier was purchased to replace our old one, which had given us 14 years wonderful service. This new one, although slightly smaller wins hands down for ease of operation, efficiency and almost silent running. At 2/3 of the price of our last one, this machine is superb value for money. We use ours mainly for drying laundry, which it does superbly well and quickly too. Highly recommended in all aspects.
This dehumidifier is everything I expected it to be, after reading the reviews. I have only had it a few days so far but it’s definitely doing its job .
I bought it to use in our motorhome while we were not using it as I was worried it would get damp .This has certainly made a huge difference. I am very pleased with how it’s working.
Also the customer service seams to be very helpful and courteous.
We have used this product to dry out our garage which has been converted into a craft room. We noticed a change in the room having left it on all night. Everything was drying out and in the past 4-5 days the whole space is now useable. I was so impressed I ordered a smaller dehumidifier for our caravan. Great product. Only suggestion is that it is advertised in big writing on the box that is holds 12L. In smaller writing it clarifies a bit further and it only holds 12L per day after various emptying procedures. Marketing needs to be a bit clearer please.
