I suffered a wrist injury whilst deadlifting, and could barely hold a 6kg dumbbell in my left hand without searing pain.

I bought these and they’ve been fantastic, effectively “locking” the wrist in place and letting the muscles do all of the work.

I also noticed they’re very popular, as I’ve since seen several other guys wearing this exact brand

As a female, it got to a point where I had the strength to bench heavy but my wrists would flex. These have helped massively!! And for the price I paid (5) these have gone above and beyond what I expected! Wearing gear has helped me push through plateau’s and I’m confident my wrists are stable. Hell, even my boyfriend (who has his own wraps) will use mine if we’ve trained separately or the weight is heavy.

My only concern is because my wrists are small and I like them tight on my wrist, the Velcro passes the allotted fabric, so I have started to get Wes and tear on the actual strap itself. But that’s more to do with me having tiny wrists

I’ve been using these for several months now and they are very good. Provide much needed support to my wrists when working out of the gym

I’ve only just unpacked it, but the quality is so impressive I felt the urge to review straight away. I’ve had 4 different pairs over many years, and these are by far the best designed, the sturdiest and the most supportive wrist bands for weight lifting. Feel very comfy to wear as well, and won’t leave ugly marks if kept on for long. Absolute top drawer product!

The black ones are made from thicker material and therefore better in my opinion. Other colours are a bit thinner and probably a bit better for smaller wrists

I bought these after having wrist problems from using my cross trainer. After wearing them for a few sessions I felt the pain in my wrist ease and get better. So well worth the price I paid for them.

These are very cheap but look like a premium product. I can see these lasting a few years without a problem.

So I’ve been using these for over 2 years now. Initially i purchased this because my wrists began to ache slightly when performing heavy barbell bench press.
They definitely provide support for my wrists (which are quite thin and weak) and provide stability.
I recommend these to anyone looking wrist support for the gym. I haven’t suffered any wrist injuries while using these, which is great.

As the title, these were my first pair of wraps I bought, and I still use them every time I have to lift heavy sets. But they have lost a bit of their support, and it becomes apparent that if you use them quite regularly. But for the price you can’t fault them. I would suggest to get some thicker, more supportive ones if you have grown past a beginner or even intermediate lifter.

This is my second pair of these wrist straps (first pair I had for over 2 years but lost them) they are sturdy with long lasting Velcro that never seems to weaken no matter how often you wear them or wash them.

These really do help in the gym. I felt I was hurting my forearm lifting weights and was advised to buy a pair of these straps. I noticed the difference. It gave me more confidence with lifting. Only thing I found is it’s hard to tell what way they fit but I guess with practice it becomes easier. I would say try them first otherwise you will be standing a while looking a little lost trying to fit them in the gym.

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersPlaying basketball regularly at school and then moving onto martial arts has meant that I have been plagued with wrist pain most of my life. At 39 years, I still train 6 days a week.

I don’t get wrist pain all the time, but when it arrives it normally hangs around for a number of weeks (it doesn’t help that work at a computer every day either). Which is why I have been needing to pick up a pair of wrist straps for some time.

There’s certain movements that always seem to flare it up. For example, doing kettlebells can flare it up when twisting them in the wrong way or working with someone at boxing who doesn’t know how to hold pads correctly.

These wrist straps are long overdue. They’re very easy to put on. You simply put the small strap around your thumb and then wrap the main section around your wrist until it’s tight.

Bear in mind that the straps are not going to completely fix everything. I am still getting a little pain with press ups just now in my right wrist so I’m going to keep doing them on my knuckles, but they do offer good support and means that I have support when doing shoulder presses and bicep curls etc.

For under a fiver, I’m pleased with the purchase. Would buy again.

Must admit I was sceptical -what use can wrapping a piece of fabric around your wrists be? But they really do work. I still had mild pain the first time after using them, this was probably just the lingering result of previous sessions, since then pain free.

  43. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

This has been incredibly useful for recent gym sessions. I have quite thin/weak wrists so when I’m lifting relatively heavy weight, it puts a lot of strain on them and restricts the amount of reps I am able to perform. These grips have made my reps sturdier and allowed me to increase weight over the weeks. I’m doing wrist training as well to increase the strength so this is only a temporary solution. However, I would definitely recommend.

These are good sturdy straps, as I have weak wrists they are great for bench and back squats. However I have very small wrists and to be able to get them tight enough they where almost at the end of the Velcro so if you have small wrists these might be a little too big for you

  54. Anonymous says:

These are cheap and I was sceptical about them. They do support your wrists to about 80%. My issue is I have very thin wrists so I have to pull the velcro further past to get them right to offer the support.

Great lifting wraps, providing good wrist support but not to the level where you feel like your wrists are not being worked, otherwise your wrists will never develop with the rest of your gains and will become the limiting factor to the weights you can lift. So this is a good thing!

Plus these are really good looking and have had lots of comments on them!

Excellent pair of wrist wraps, I have small wrists and I would get aches as I lifted heavy dumbbells from the floor to the pushing position i.e. seated db shoulder press or db chest press. The straps helped with stabilizing my hand and I stopped suffering from the aches. I have been using these for a month now and have no complaints.

hese gloves first and foremost do the job. When increasing weights they really add stability to your wrist, they can be adjusted to the right tightness to with a good amount of Velcro on them. The options of style is also a bonus. Great price and product and must for heavy weight exercises that need wrist stability.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m fairly new to lifting and after my first two months I noticed my wrist getting sore and after checking sites and googling I found out about the importance of stabilising your wrist when squatting and when lifting for your arms and shoulders/back. I am quite a short pudgy woman and this do really fit all sizes

  61. Anonymous says:

Good support & very easy to use. Velcro fastens well & the strap is stretchy so tightness of the fitting can be varied easily between exercises – for me bicep curls.. not so much for pushing exercises.

    Great product.
The reason I decided to buy this product was my wrist were starting to hurt when squatting, I have poor flexibility in my shoulders which put a bit of pressure on my wrist. So I decided to use these wraps when going heavy on squats and bench. I still get slight pain but nothing like before. They are a good fit for me and I have medium sized wrists. They might be a bit loose for someone with narrow wrists. I wouldn’t recommend using these all the time maybe when just going heavy as your wrist could possibly become reliant on them when lifting even light weights.

  65. Alejandrina42F says:

     United Kingdom

Simple but effective. I’ve an injury to the inside of my right wrist (when hands down on the table) that gives me pain bench pressing and dumbell pressing. Bought these because I had some irritation in my ulnar nerve during work-outs, which I hypothesised was partially due to wrist flexion during weight training. 1. Quality : I have had this for more than 2 years now. The velcro and the over construction is solid.

    2. Performance: Has never cut my skin or bruised it in anyway and always did its job well in the gym. I have been in some compromising situations that these have saved my wrist from over flexing.

    3. Price : worth every penny!

Excellent wrist straps at a very good price. I have had a few of these over the years and these are definitely the best I have owned. They seem to be thicker and can be wound up tighter than other ones I have owned. Having used them for a few months now they also show no signs of getting baggy as some do over time.

  70. Anonymous says:

Velcro is strong and lasts a long time. The user is able to adjust the ‘compression’ and support that the wraps offer very quickly so you can change quickly mid workout if you need to. I have found these excellent for all overhead pressing movements and they really save my wrists.

Depending on how much you sweat they will start of smell a fair bit, and the Velcro suffers going through the washing machine…so do yourself a favour and buy 2 pairs now so you have 1 spare.

I bought these wraps so I could try using bent wrists on the low bar squat (I tend to use a thumbs-over grip & straight wrists and fancied a change). Unfortunately, squatting even with a low amount of weight on the bar and the wraps wound so tightly it was uncomfortable, my wrists didn’t get enough support.

It’s probably just a case of horses for courses — if you’re looking for a little support on overhead press or bench, they’re probably fine. I wouldn’t recommend them for squats, though. Ultimately they’re selling for ~5, so don’t expect miracles!

I would’ve given the product 3 stars, but I gave my wraps to a friend and he’s more than happy with them, hence the 4 stars.

  81. JulietaMoreland says:

I work a lot with big heavy steel gun boxes and having to lift them to and from a workbench more than several times a day was starting to cause aches in my wrists, I looked into wrist supports and these were recommended for weight training so I figured I would give ’em a shot. After having used them for about 2 weeks I feel that although I’m using them for semi-intended use that these supports do what they need to in regards to safely lifting very heavy objects, unfortunately after extended use (say more than 1hr) the material lining the edges starts to rub and grind its way through ur skin right where the hand meets the wrist leaving it sore and irritated. The thumb strap although a good idea I found that it was so tight on my thumbs that it would cut the blood flow and I would get cold tingly thumbs, you can use the supports fine without the straps though. On the whole they do what they need to but don’t expect too much comfort when wearing them.

  82. Bradfor6558 says:

Bought these in November 2014, I still put them to use a good 4-6 times a week. I have used them every single time I’ve been in the gym since I bought them and only now is the Velcro starting to deteriorate. These have done me 10 months and I only bought them for on 2.49 at the time! Really didn’t expect to get this long out of them!

Very good quality, they do the job and you get good use out them.

Love these, so good I bought another pair when I lost the first ones. Fit comfortably and easily on each wrist, firmly in place with the thumb loop and provide exactly the right amount of support. I tend to only use when lifting heavier weights or doing pull ups and any time my wrists need a bit of extra support.

When lifting I have been feeling intense pain in the tendons in my forearms, especially when curling with a palms up grip even with perfect form. I bought these to hopefully relieve some strain on the wrist and ease the pain.

These are no miracle cure by any means, but I can say that they do help. The pain I was feeling has been reduced. There is still some pain when performing particular exercises like preacher curls, but can’t say anything against them as they have helped.
Small investment to pay to help and hopefully prevent tendonitis!
Velcro straps are still working fine after a few months use

Does the job. I’ve read a few bad reviews about he Velcro breaking or not working after a few weeks of use, but let’s be fair here for the price you cannot go wrong. First time I used them they were very tight, I had no wrist pain or discomfort benching or overhead pressing. Star buy, would recommend. If they break in a few months then simply buy another pair, they’re cheap enough.

Good little product if you need wrist supports. Sturdy and a strong velcro fastner that wont twist around your wrist like some other supports. If you are looking to improve your deadlift or want to handle heavy weight – these are not the product. But if you need support when benching, playing tennis, climbing etc. then these are great.

Had them about a year now and still going strong.

  89. LuigiOchoa says:

Exactly what I was looking for. The only “issue” is that the thumb loop should be sown in with a twist, not flat. Sown in flat, it leaves a twist that can be a little uncomfortable in some locations.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was really getting fed up with the constant wrist pain I was experiencing whilst lifting heavy weights every night. Let me tell you, heavy weight combined with a repetitive action is a recipe for disaster folks and frankly it was beginning to ruin my life. My sleep was disrupted, filling up the kettle to make a cuppa no longer a delight but a chore due to my aches and pains.

But I digress, for this is all in the past now and but a bitter memory, my wrist pain has finally gone and once again I can masturbate alone freely. You even get two wrist wraps in a pack, handy if a friend joins in who shares the same problem!

Very good price, well built product for the average gym goer. Was looking for some wrist support for a recovering wrist fracture and just went for the lowest priced ones I could find, glad I did, as not sure what else you can get for paying more, will continue to use these when doing heavier bench work as they do give extra confidence in your wrists.

I train 5 days a week and for most work outs use these. I had a wrist injury prior to using them due to poor form, they just give me the support/confidence I need.

I’ve given these 5 stars, but it’s worth noting I’m on my third pair. I buy them about every 6 months, after that time normally the velcro has gone and they don’t stay tight/come off all together.

But for the price, delivery time (normally next day) and 6 months of use I cannot fault them.

I bought these as I hurt my wrist on a punch bag where I had not wrapped my hands. In addition to boxing I do a lot of weight training and I was finding that through my injury that picking up heavy weights was painful even after 2 months. I have struggled in the past when weight training with pain in my wrists and these offer a great level of support.

I have now been using the product for around 6 weeks for weight training and things have improved a long way. I am not yet back to boxing but I hope to be within a month or two – great product and highly recommend.

While clearly basic, they do the job. I sustained a wrist injury a while back, and these have helped me to get back into the gym sooner than expected. They feel very tight and provide adequate compression on the wrist, with the Velcro strap holding fine. My only complaint is that the material feels quite rough and uncomfortable at times.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI started jillian micheals 30 day shred. My right wrist started hurting pretty soon after. After moving on to level 2 I woke in the night with it really hurting.

I bought these and straight away my wrists felt better. I can do the exercises now without feeling my wrists ache.

Unfortunately they do still hurt when I take the bands off but the pain is not as bad.

For the price these wrist wraps are fantastic. The velcro is strong and seems to be long lasting. Brilliant if you are lifting weight that hurts your wrists like me.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersThought I’d leave a review as I was sceptical of all the 5* at this price, but having received and used my wraps they really are excellent value for money. They do exactly what I wanted, which was to keep my wrist and hand aligned with my forearm during pressing movements. Only used once but made a huge difference and would recommend these, made me laugh that the postage cost more than the item.

I purchased these wrist supports as I am a regular gym user, however due to my skinny wrists I used to feel pain when lifting weights. I have since used these wrist supports and I feel they provide more stability and strength when lifting. Overall excellent product, well made and a no brainer to buy at 1.99. Wouldn’t go to the gym without them now! Definitely would recommend, also fast delivery.

A truely worthy product whose minimal cost does not reflect its impressive quality.

The thick velcro holds more securely than some of its thinner counterparts, keeping the wrist straight and rigid as it should be.

The product was delivered moments after I pressed the order button. To sweeten the deal, the seller only adds on an incremental ‘top-up’ to the delivery cost when you order several pairs, rather than ripping you off with the multiple full delivery charges.

With these strapped to my wrists, I am easily one of the manliest men at the gym!
