I have waited a while before doing this review as I wanted to try it out first. We all love this shower, it’s very powerful for an electric shower, love the light feature I have showered without putting the bathroom light on and it’s really relaxing. Will buy again.
I got this to replace a 7.2kW shower which stopped heating up the water.
I had to get the original MCB and cabling upgraded to take this larger unit which was far beyond my abilities. The electrician who carried out this work also installed the shower and said it was easy, but as it wasn’t me that did it, I haven’t rated that bit.
The unit itself looks good and I like the idea of just having a simple on/off control and a temperature dial.
When I first started using it, it wasn’t quite as smooth as I would have liked. Sometimes I had to double tap the on/off button to get it to start or stop and others a single tap would do. Additionally, the water temperature would start out very hot and I would have to turn it down and then back up again to get the temperature right again. Both of these issues seem to have sorted themselves out after a week or so of use and now I only need to press the on button once to switch on or off and the temperature is the same every time I use it – no more faffing about.
