The removal of the chip from the HP cartridge is all a bit nerve-racking, bits of cracking plastic etc. I also managed to break the drill tool supplied – my only complaint is that the drill may be a bit lightweight for the job (or I am too heavy handed!)
Overall very happy to have saved over 250 for 1/2 hrs work
I found it easy to transfer the chip over. You have to trust yourself and what you are doing. It took me 10 minutes to take it out 3 chips and cut around it and then transfer to the new cartridge’s. The printer does come up with a message saying low on ink but I have printed loads of pages since inserting the cartridges and it’s good quality print outs.
The instructions are very easy to follow. Cutting chips out from the original cartriges need a bit of caution, but except for that, it is very straight forward.
The print quality seems good enough, and it is much cheaper than HP cartridges. Definitely worth the money.
Bought these because they were reasonably priced and I’m very happy with the product and the quality is superb. The addition tools in the box are perfect for the chip transfer and the instructions were easy to follow. I would buy again 🙂
I have two MFP printers (281 and 283) from HP which are used for personal and WFH use for business. I typically print a few thousand pages a year which means a lot of toner cost. The toner shipped worked very well, easy to install with clear instructions and tools provided. It does take a little patience to install the chip however once done and software updates disabled you can proceed to a cost-effective colour laser printing.
A similar set from HP would be 2-3 times the price with a very marginal difference in print quality. I would highly recommend if you can follow the installation instructions and use printers for home/business use.
I was a bit hesitant about ordering this product as it was expensive, BUT not as expensive as the genuine toner from canon at over 100 for each colour! so I let you do the math!
Comes with the tools for you to make the easy transition from genuine to using this product, no need for glue to stick the chip back in place as it comes with a insert to place over your new toner.
I’ve only done the one colour (Yellow) at the moment but I am SUPER HAPPY with the results, I not notice any difference on the quality for the prints, and I do use very good quality images for my small business for my customer for Water Slide Transfers.
Just follow the instructions carefully and make sure you don’t misplace the chip when you take it off the old one (tools and instructions are included in the box) and BINGO your be up and running in less than 5 minutes again, take off the strips that protect the cart and your be good to go. only a very small down side, the tweezers that’s included are not strong and snapped. but not essential for install.

I have already purchased this toner set again and again for my HP LaserJets Pro MFP M283fdw and they perfectly match with my printers. As I need to print “Lots”, the price for the HP cartridges is too high and not affordable. After switching to using this, I learn that the print quality is comparable to the original one with much lower reasonable prices and the substitution has a great result. I meet a challenge of toner chip issues. As I follow the instruction manual provided, changing the chips is much easier than I expected. I would have no hesitation buying this product again. If you like paying more than double the money for toner, look away now. As for me, I want to be able to print when I want and not have to think how much it is costing. A full set of HP toner cartridges will cost anything around 370 – wow, what a price. So when I found premium cartridges with 4.5 stars for less than half that figure, I felt I had nothing (too much) to lose.
Well packages cartridges arrived quickly and I set about installing. Now there is a little of fiddling about. You have to remove a chip from the original HP cartridges that were empty, and install into the new cartridge. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and two tools provided make it quite simple. Once you do one cartridge the other three are easy.
So, after once up and running and I have printed off my first new car brochure to read over. Print quality has been very good and I am not left feeling it just cost me a few pounds to print a brochure.
After reading a lot of reviews, I decided to go ahead and try these. They originally arrived without the pliers needed to extract the chips, the package came with a card with their email address on which claimed that they sort issues with 24 or 48 hours. It’s true that they did reply within that time frame, to say that “due to the nature of the enquiry, we need more time”. They never replied. Luckily at the time I only needed the black one so we were able to sort out getting the chip out a different, much less ideal, way.
Fast forward 6 or so weeks and we needed to install the colour toners. Still no pliers so we bought something else that did the job. We had issues with 2 of the colour cartridges, they were spraying colour across the page. I was offered a refund or a replacement, I opted for replacements both times but unfortunately the replacements were no good either. (There’s a known issue with the cartridges.)
Eventually I accepted a full refund via PayPal – I did have to pay the fee on this but as the black cartridge had been fine I didn’t mind this.
Aside from the missing pliers, the company did always reply quickly and we’re very helpful so I have updated my review.

This is definitely way more cheap than the original toner cartridge. Also, it produces really good, vibrant colour quality prints. This toner cartridge comes with the installation guide. It’s very easy to install as well. You don’t need some any special knowledge to do this because the instructions are very clear. Print quality is the same as the originals. Also, it lasts much longer. Moreover, this is compatible to a variety of HP printers. It really helped me save a lot with my printing needs. I’ve got no issues since I started using this. Plus, it got delivered on time and was well wrapped.
Brilliant toners which worked perfectly with HP printer there for. Buying original toners is so expensive so I was glad to find and buy the cool toner’s which fitted exactly as an original does. There are lot’s of compatible toner’s but I have bought the cool toner range before so new the quality was good. You get the same amount of pages per toner as with original HP toners. The print quality is excellent so I will definetely buy again.
Great purchase, easy installation – instructions were self-explanatory with all provided tools to remove the chip from the existing cartridge to the new one. So far the colour quality has been on point!

Wasn’t expecting a good quality but I thought I’d take a punt. Glad I did as it is as good as OG. Blacks are black and colours are rich.
Very easy to install, you just need to transfer the chip and the tools are provided to do that. No problem with the quality.
