No problems, easy set up and it does what I need.
Bought it for a present and up to now it’s doing everything it says
I used the existing doorbell wires to connect. Needed the extension cable. Although device placed lower than 48 inches I have a full view of anyone approaching or leaving.
Motion detection is good even if a person just passes my door. Caught my neighbour putting her rubbish in my bin!
The camera takes a second to activate, which means a fast individual could be gone and all you see is their back. I haven’t tried running towards the door at speed, as yet. No one has escaped detection when they arrive.
I had a cheap camera doorbell which gave a good picture, but didn’t hold its charge for long, and had a very limited app. Went for the Arlo wireless doorbell as already have 2 Arlo cameras and there was a price reduction during Black Friday. Picture quality and coverage is very good, and it integrates well with the Arlo app I had downloaded for the cameras. So far the battery charge has been very good despite a number of activations each day (usually the postman). Would recommend this doorbell. Added benefit it works with Alexa. So haven’t had to buy a chime as Alexa notifies when there is an activation, or someone is ringing the bell. Also phones you when someone rings it.

Coupl d’autres camra cela peut-tre intressant de prendre l’abonnement. Compter 3/mois pour une camra et 10/mois pour plusieurs ( je n’ai plus le nombre en tte).

while this bell was good unfortunately we dont have great internet out in the country so it didnt really perform that great so sent it back

J’ai eu une visite un peu bizarre , le mec a voulue cach la camra avec sa main pour ne pas que l’on voit son visage mais le pauvre a rat son coup, on le voit trs bien, la camra s’est mise en route avant qu’il s’approche de la porte. (je suis alle la gendarmerie). De l je me suis sentie en scurit. Nous l’avons installe avec un double face, car nous comptons dmnag dans quelques mois. Le seule hic il faut un abandonnement, mon fils a pris le petit 2 pour la sauvegarde des vidos, (ce n’est pas un systme d’alarme). Mon fils l’a achet fin septembre et pour le moment RAS. Il a pris une deuxime batterie pour tre sr qu’elle soit toujours fonctionnelle. Je recommande.

Sono contento dell’acquisto perch cos finalmente posso vedere chi suona alla porta, mi dispiace dover comprare una station per testare il salvataggio in locale.
Non mi piace che senza internet la videocamera non funzioni anche se la rete di casa ok.
La batteria sembra buona, ma al momento l’unica utilit se non collegate il device alla corrente, come detto senza internet al momento inutilizzabile.
Vi riporto un po’ di pro e contro.

It’s a little bulky but most of the wireless video doorbells are. Easy to fit, easy to set up. The only criticism I have is having to delete everything twice. I’m not sure if it’s a design feature in case you accidently delete a recording but if it is allow us to turn that off.

Top, fait le travail qu on lui demande, je suis super satisfait de mon achat. Seul bmol il y a une seule petite vis fournis pour mettre l lectricit alors qu il en faut 2, vous de vous dbrouiller d en trouver une et ce n est pas un format classique donc facile dnicher mme en magasin de bricolage et le transformateur n est pas facile trouver non plus courant alternatif.
Setting up 1 phone was easy enough.
Just try setting up a 2nd phone and the chime 2 and this is when you start pulling your hair out !!!
After setting up the 1st phone with ease you’d be forgiven for thinking that the rest would be easy……….WRONG !!!
In all it took me more than 24hours to get 2 phones and the chime 2 to work.
I had to ignor the instructions to invite a second person to get it to work because that failed on numerous occasions, instead in the end after almost giving up I logged the 2nd phone in using MY email account details and after receiving and accepting a message saying is this a trusted device I stumbled into getting the 2nd phone working. As for the chime, you cannot scan the code on the back of it because it is too small to read !!! I ended up photographing it , send to my email and opening the email on my laptop to read it. Even then it refused to connect to my WiFi. The whole setup process is a total nightmare. I might still send this back even now.

I upgraded my doorbell to this from my previous Ring 2nd generation one after reading some excellent reviews online. Overall, I am pleased with the product for the following reasons:
– Video quality and motion detection is excellent certainly better than the Ring doorbell. It has a viewing angle of 180 degrees and a siren that can be manually activated as well.
– Looks sleek but is a bit bulky. Easy installation in minutes.
– You can answer with pre- recorded messages from the app like ” leave the parcel outside ” and audio quality is clear as well.
– You receive a call directly to your phone when the doorbell is pressed which is more convenient although I have noticed the notification time is a bit lagging behind the Ring doorbells.
– App is responsive and full of useful features. The one thing missing is a timeline history capture where you can actually see things happen briefly in the past. This is a very useful feature present in the Ring app.
– Battery life seems good as well although it will certainly not last 6 months as claimed from the manufacturer.
Very clear, concise detail in the video footage and customer support is good as well. I would recommend this over other wireless video doorbells in the market.
Easy to install and set up. 3 month free Arlo smart let’s you set up boundaries. Been up 4 weeks and showing 90% battery. Great bit of kit wish it could be integrated into my pro 3 hub
1) Unlink Arlo with Alexa.
2) Uninstall and restart phone and then install Arlo app.
3) Reconnect to the Alexa and the Arlo account.
4) Re-assign Arlo skills.
Does exactly what I was expecting it to do. peace of mind has been acquired.

Il citofono fantastico e ha funzioni incredibili, il problema che si gestisce solo tramite app e sinceramente per il costo che ha ti aspetti un funzionamento ottimale ed invece l’applicazione piena di bug, non esiste, ci sta avere dei problemi ma non possibile che sia cos piena di errori! Spero in aggiornamenti che risolvano almeno i pi gravi.
Overall this is an excellent video doorbell that is easy to install, intuitive to use, with excellent video and audio quality, and a comprehensive Arlo app.
This little doorbell camera took about half an hour to setup, wireless and battery powered it lasts at least a fortnight (longer if you have fewer visitors or less access). The system runs using its own app and allows you to see when people are at your front door (or back door) it records clips and is rather discreet. The app itself it easy enough to configure and allows me to see people when Im working in the back garden or shed. It has built in motion detection and will alert you when people are close too. The quality of the picture is perfectly fine for close subjects and the night vision is good too considering its size. All in all a nice option.
I own several Arlo systems and whilst I have had some issues now and then, the majority of the time I do find myself having a pleasant experience with the Arlo brand, especially with the Arlo Pro3 which I use daily.
With the likes of ‘Ring’ being the market leader in CCTV doorbells, it’s understandable why a brand like ‘Arlo’ who are renowned for their CCTV cameras wanting a piece of the market. Note that I have never owned a doorbell with CCTV features before, so I cannot compare to other brands on the market.
It’s important to know what you are getting as a package:

* Wire Extensions (optional to use).

I can understand why people are frustrated with the fact this doorbell does not come with a “bell” or “chime” to be more accurate, though I knew before receiving that I wouldn’t get one included as it’s clearly not listed. With that said, it would have been sensible for Arlo to include one as a package. So if you do want a chime as well, you will need to get the ‘Arlo Smart Chime’ or ‘ Arlo Chime V2’ (latest version).
Set-up was actually quite straight-forward but does require a smart-device and the Arlo app to be downloaded; within the app you need to click on “+ Add New Device”, select the correct product and it will give you a step-by-step guide to get it set-up and installed; it will need to connect to your WiFi, so ensure you have good signal in the area. When it comes to syncing the doorbell with the app, it will do so by reading the QR code from your device, so try keeping a steady hand and at a distance which is recommended by the app, otherwise it may take a couple of attempts.
This doorbell may require either a Phillips head screwdriver or drill with a 6mm drill bit depending on where you are setting it up. The doorbell mounts onto an included bracket which keeps it securely to your wall/door, so would not be an easy job for someone to steal it.
The app itself I don’t have issues with as I’m used to it; I find it easy to navigate through the settings should I need to.
With the doorbell set-up, when someone presses the ringer it will alert you through the Arlo app as if it was an actual phone call that you will need to accept to see and hear the video footage (which is incredibly clear I must say!); though your microphone may be on mute by default, so make sure to enable it either during the call or go into settings and switch it to be on automatically). There are options to send an automated message to the person at the door like: “we’ll be right there” or “not interested” if you wanted to use them.
You can add household members through the app as “guests”, but they will need to download the Arlo app on their own devices and create there own account, otherwise every time someone logs into the same account, it logs the other person off. By having separate accounts, everyone connected will simultaneously get a call when someone presses the ringer. Unfortunately, I have not seen a setting where you can prioritise or select a specific person to receive a call.
All in all though, the Arlo doorbell without a chime is quite unintuitive because only those connected will know someone is at the door! Other than that it works very well.
Finally, subscription. You get a three month free subscription when you first setup the device but after then you will be required to pay if you want ALL the benefits. It’s only a small price with just one camera and the fact it backup your recordings is worth it, should something happen.
Pros:

Very good audio and video quality.
Night-vision is super clear.
Subscription is a fair price.
Good motion-detection (can specifically set certain areas to avoid unnecessary notifications).
Neutral:
– Chime not included. It’s quite an essential part to a doorbell. (this is CLEARLY advertised, so will not affect the score negatively).
Cons:
There is room for improvement on app features, such as users and call settings.
The Arlo Essential Video Doorbell Security Camera I received is the new wireless model that has a built in battery that should last 3-6 months depending on your use and the weather.
It is a direct competitor to the Ring Video Doorbell and has many of the same features plus a few more. It looks really modern and extremely well designed so it is sure to be very popular.
After fully charging the battery which takes around 5 hours you use the special pin to open the unit and install the battery. Set up is very simple after you download the Arlo app and follow the really slick and well produced instructions to pair the Arlo video doorbell with your smartphone.
Once set up it presents you with a 3 month trial of the Arlo cloud plan that provides online storage and extra features which I prefer to decline but in this case there was no opt out option which frankly irritated me. I prefer to see how I get on with the basic free service rather than get drawn into getting used to the paid services as they would like.
Mounting on the door frame or adjacent wall is very easy with a drill and the included screws. There are 2 mounting plates one flat and one angled so you can direct the doorbell for example down the path.
In use the camera provides a clear 1080p HD square video feed with a very wide angle lens so the resulting image is very warped as you’ll see in my photos. You do see a lot more of the doorstep and what’s on it. In fact it is much more warped than my existing video doorbell and frankly although the image is very clear it is much to warped for my liking much as I understand this is to enable package detection feature.
The other downside of this and all other video doorbells I’ve tried is the 4-5 second delay / lag in the streamed video due to the Arlo cloud processing time which winds me up as it make live video conversations awkward and in effect useless. Although it works with Alexa which I use all around the house unfortunately you also get a delay / lag in the video feed on your Alexa Echo Show however its even worse at 12-14 seconds as the video feed is going through the Arlo servers then the Amazon Alexa servers.
It has other useful features such as 2-way audio with a lesser delay of a 1-2 seconds, package detection, motion detection and alerts, built-in siren, and really good clear night vision.
What is really missing for me however is a separate audible door bell chime that works with the Arlo Video Doorbell to ring out loud in the house for everyone to hear. It’s mentioned as coming soon on the product page but it’s still not available yet. Arlo have launched the videobell too early if an important accessory is not ready for market yet.
I get multiple package deliveries everyday and my kids do not want to install the Arlo app and be disturbed with messages or calls every time someone is at the door. If I’m out now I get notified on my smartphone, ask the visitor to wait and have to tell the kids we have a visitor are at the door. My exiting cheap video doorbell included a separate audible doorbell chime and works great.
To me the best feature in the Arlo Video Doorbell is the direct video calling to your mobile when pressed so you can find out who’s at your door faster as the call is almost instant alerting you to someone at the door even if there is delay in the video stream. You also get instant message alerts of motion by the door and someone pressing the doorbell.
In summary my main niggles are I’m not a fan of the square warped video image, totally hate the delay / lag in the video feed due to these companies cloud servers. They should have / offer the option to route all video direct from the video doorbell to your phone on your local wifi as do most of my other general wifi security camera running on the wifi network with there is significantly less delay.
In summary this is a well designed unit with a great app but there are a few niggles and one major compliant that in that this product has been launched before the audible door chime is ready and available.

I like the build quality of this, and the attention to detail. There’s an angled bracket for fitting it so that it can be aimed more directly towards the place where someone ringing it would naturally stand. It’s also dead simple to fit.
The image quality is excellent, high resolution and importantly for a doorbell camera has a very wide field of view so you can see who it is, however tall they are or if they’re standing off to the side. It has decent night vision and a good quality speaker so you can talk to the person at the door via the app on your phone.
However it doesn’t come with an indoor ringer. This is fairly common for video doorbells but it does mean you’re totally reliant on the phone app for notifications of someone ringing the doorbell and not everyone in our house carries their phone around all day long. There is an add-on chime available but it seems to be almost 50, making this quite an expensive setup, before you even get into their subscription services. That brings me onto the subscriptions. If you want anything more than the absolute basics you’ll have to pay for a subscription with Arlo, and they’re not cheap.
So I think it’s a case of get what you pay for. There are some significantly cheaper video doorbells out there but they can be pretty poor quality, slow and unreliable. This is definitely among the better offerings with it’s good build quality, image, features, etc. but you do do pay quite a bit more for the privilege. It’s good, be make sure you know what you’re getting into before buying.
We have just set this product up on our front door..Reasonably easy to set up, though I would’ve preferred a printed instruction sheet rather than an online one (Call me old school if you wish!)
We went for the unwired option due to the added expense of paying an electrician to hardwire it…My only worry is the battery life…If it doesn’t last long I will be forever recharging it, which will be a right royal pain!
Otherwise, it’s great we can see who is at the door..(Except Amazon delivery men who ring the bell and move back to their van at lightning speed!)

The device has quite a nice slim profile compared to some others, measuring approx. 14cm x 4.8cm x 3.8cm (HxWxD) including the mounting plate).
The 180 degree wide angle lens is located at the top, whilst the large illuminated push button can be found at the bottom.
There are 2 options for power. These are via the included rechargeable battery pack, which simply clicks into place and has a little pull out cover to reveal a MicroUSB port to charge it, or you wire it to your existing mains transformer and mechanical chime.

If you choose the battery powered option, then installation is extremely straightforward.
Simply charge the pack using the supplied cable and then fix the doorbell into position using the supplied fixings.
Using the mains powered option is a little more involved, but pretty straightforward if you are simply replacing a traditional bell. Turn off the power to the transformer, remove your existing push button and then fix the Arlo mounting bracket in place and connect the 2 wires to the terminals on the back plate, before snapping the Arlo back into place. Using this method will ring the mechanical chime when the button is pressed.
Whichever method you choose, you need to install the Arlo app onto your smartphone and create a free account. Make sure you are connected to the 2.4Ghz wireless network on your router (5Ghz isn’t supported) and choose Add new device from the app and choose the correct product from the list. Enter your WiFi security key. Follow the instructions and then scan the QR code displayed on your phone screen. If there are updates available, they will download and install and then you are all set.
The app works very well and there are lots of settings that can be changed to suit. Some of these include setting activity zones so that motion is detected only within a certain area, setting smart alerts so that people, animals or vehicles can trigger alerts and you can also setup package detection so that if a parcel is left on your doorstep, you will be notified.
You can of course view live video from the camera and if you have an active subscription you can view up to 30 days of recorded video. There is no option to store video locally on a memory card.
For those of you with Amazon Alexa devices, you can also link your Arlo. When the button is pressed, your Alexa speakers will alert you (handy if you don’t have a chime installed).

On the whole, I really like the Arlo Wire Free Video Doorbell.
It feels very well made and it works very well. The response time between pressing the button and then being alerted on the phone is almost instant due to using a SIP phone call. On cheap video doorbells, there is often quite a delay, but this doesn’t happen here.
The video has a nice wide angle with a sharp image and is also great at night time. The sound quality is also very good.
Having the option of powering the device using the mains transformer is far better than just relying on batteries that need to be charged and being able to activate the mechanical chime is also a huge advantage over just using the app and being able to use Alexa devices as a chime is also a very handy feature and a simple way of adding extra chimes around your home.
A slight negative point is that there is no security screw to fix the device in place, so it can easily be removed using a pin. If you have an active subscription, Arlo will replace it if stolen, but if you have no sub, you can lose your 180 camera in a matter of seconds.
You get a 3 month trial subscription included with your device and although the monthly price is not that expensive, I’m still not sure I want to pay 30 per year for a doorbell. The main features (phone alerts, basic motion detection and live video) work without a subscription, but to record video and to use the package detection, you will need to pay.
The Arlo is quite expensive, but the quality of the product is definitely superior to cheap versions I have used in the past.

An absolute doddle to fit. Screws, plugs and mounting brackets included.
If you install the app first it will guide you through installation and setup in stupidly simple steps that anyone can follow.
The only issue I had was opening the unit to get the battery in but once I found the small hole for pin on top of the unit it was easy and the battery clicks in, remember to charge the battery before you fit it.
Once fitted follow the app to set it up and connect to your Wi-fi.
The app
The app is simple, well presented and user friendly.
You can watch live and recorded footage easy and listen in live.
Saves videos and pictures are easy to find in a calendar.
From the app once you add your doorbell you are offered 3 months of their online recording service.
There’s many settings to play with but the one I was eager to try was the motion alert zones. This lets you set an area on the camera where you are sent alerts of motion. I set mine up so that it only alerts if someone enters my property and doesn’t trigger on people or cars going past. I’m pleased to say that it works well on this doorbell.
On alert there’s almost instantly a picture available to see what happened. It pops up on your phone fast.
On doorbell press the doorbell actually calls your phone like someone phoning you which makes the experience so easy to answer visitors.
You can share access to the doorbell in the app, I’ve added my partner and she can view and receive alerts and call from the bell.
Video and sound
Video quality is 1080HD and is sharp and of high quality in day and night. The cam switches automatically to night vision. I also really like the FPS(frames per second) it’s high enough to give a smooth video without stuttering.
Audio quality is also very good, the sound is clear and loud.
Conclusions
For a visitor the doorbell senses the movement and lights up making the visitor aware of the doorbell.
For the owner the doorbell alerts your phone and offers you a video call.
It’s just so easy for everyone.

I have been a user of a Ring doorbell for quite a few years now but the opportunity of trying out Arlo’s iteration interested me. I live in an apartment with a lot of stairs so having a smart doorbell is ideal especially when it comes to deliveries, from amazon of course.
Upon opening, the device itself is smaller than I imagined. Very compact and does not take up much room. This was perfect as I fitted mine on the wooden doorframe and there is limited space. To install it was really easy, just a few screws, clip on the doorbell and thats pretty much it. The setup was the same, simple, quick and I ran into no issues at all. Once you have installed the app and connected to the wifi thats about everything you need to do, apart from the odd calibration to get it working how you would like. Once the Wifi was setup you will more than likely have to do a firmware update which is very important for stability and security but it does not take long to do.
Having used another smart doorbell before I can directly compare this to a competitor and I must say I am liking this more. The app seems to be very responsive and reliable, two of the most important things in my eyes. The app itself is very simple to use but has some brilliant features such as alexa and google assistant functionality. The intelligent alerts are great and really make it a “smart” doorbell and it can basically differentiate between an animal and a person which is really handy.
Picture quality is something that impressed me the most. Coming from a device which is a few years old now this is a massive upgrade from what I already had. Very sharp, clear and works brilliantly at night time. The viewing angles are really wide so even if it is on the wall at the side of your door you get a full picture. Motion detection worked exactly how it should and I like the option that lets you customise to make sure it is not constantly going off, perfect for a busy road with cars going past all the time. One thing that sets this doorbell apart from the others is the battery life and having to constantly charge week and week can be quite annoying. However, with the promise of lasting months that sounds very enticing. I have only had this for a few weeks but I am sure it will stand the test of time.
Overall a fantastic product, definitely worth the upgrade if you had an older doorbell like me. Packed full of features, quality picture reproduction, brilliant app really impressed. Would recommend
The night vision picture is of a very good quality and the device is easy enough to attach yourself using the included battery though long term I’ll be getting someone to connect it to the mains.
I haven’t utilised the three month free trial for the enhanced features as I just do not intend to pay any type of subscription for a doorbell and I think it’s good enough without it anyway. The app is downloaded easily and straightforward to use; I really rate this.
Zugegeben, habe ich auf diese Trklingel schon lange gewartet! (Denn die von mir bentigte Wlan Funktion, gibt es erst ab Februar 2021)
Ich habe einige Arlo Kameras und die dazu gehrige Basisstation. Bisher hatte ich immer die Ring Trklingel, doch diese hat mich schon lange genervt. Die Nachteile waren: eine zustzliche App (zur ARLO), bei der damaligen Einrichtung eine Ausweitung auf 2 Repeater bzw. Chimes ohne die eine Verbindung nicht ging und dieser nervige und tzende Abo ohne die die Trklingel eigentlich ziemlich unbrauchbar ist. Denn die Verbindung ist immer so schlecht, das es eine Ewigkeit dauert, bis man mal dran ist und bis dahin hat jeder schon die Geduld verloren und ist weg…! Also will man wenigstens wissen, wer es war…ABER ohne Moos nix los… erst muss man blechen. Toll!!!!
So nun zu der Arlo… (um Welten besser!)
Sie wurde ganz fix geliefert, so wie von Amazon gewohnt! Direkt den Akku aufgeladen, Einrichtung ber die App lief schnell und total problemlos. Installation an der Wand/in meinem Fall an der Tr, ging auch super schnell. Direkt ausprobiert und geklingelt – mit 2 Sekunden Verzgerung einen Anruf erhalten, angenommen, Ton ist super! Das Video ist auch bei Nacht gestochen scharf – ich bin begeistert. Das Video luft mit ca 5 Sekndiger Zeitverzgerung, auch wenn man es anschaltet, dauert es ca 5 Sekunden bis eine Verbindung hergestellt wird. ABER dazu muss ich sagen, dass ich hier von einem Haus rede, welches 200 qm hat und wo sich der Router am einen Ende des Hauses im 1. Stock und die Eingangstr mit ARLO Trklingel im Ergdescho am anderen Ende des Hauses befindet. In einem alten Haus mit Betonwnden. Die oben erwhnte Doorbell von Ring brauchte 2 Chimes, um die Verbindung zu berbrcken und hat fr eine Verbindung ca 20 Sekunden gebraucht und ist auch sehr oft an der Videoverbindung gnzlich gescheitert. Unglaublich frustrierend! Das kann ich von der ARLO Doorbell nun gar nicht behaupten. Sie luft super und zuverlssig und braucht diese lcherlichen Chimes berhaupt nicht zur Signalverstrkung DANKE! Es ist nmlich tzend ein neues teures Gert zu kaufen und dann erst mal etliche Zusatzteile erwerben zu mssen, nur damit es annhernd luft.
Ich bin von diesem ALRO Gert begeistert! Toll, dass man sogar Sprachnachrichten abspielen kann, wenn man mal keine Lust hat zu antworten und sogar voreinstellen kann, wenn man mal seine Ruhe braucht – wie genial ist diese Idee. Die auch noch richtig gut funktioniert!
Und die Alexa Anbindung funktioniert so etwas von Problemlos, dass kennt man sonst nur von Apple Gerten. Keinerlei Einrichtung ntig… Halleluja! Als die Doorbell eingerichtet wurde, hrte man vom Alexa Echo Dot einen kurzen kleinen Ton “dadum” und nach kurzer berprfung in der App fand man ein weiteres hinzugefgtes Gert unter Kameras. Sagt man: “Alexa, zeig mir (Namen der Klingel, die man bei der Einrichtung gegeben hat)” ffnet sich das Video der Doorbell. “Tada…” So hat man s gerne!!!
Mit der Basisstation muss man auch kein ABO erwerben, um Videoaufzeichnungen speichern zu knnen. Darauf hatte ich gehofft und es ist nun Wirklichkeit DANKE ARLO!

Ich habe einige Arlo Kameras und die dazu gehrige Basisstation. Bisher hatte ich immer die Ring Trklingel, doch diese hat mich schon lange genervt. Die Nachteile waren: eine zustzliche App (zur ARLO), bei der damaligen Einrichtung eine Ausweitung auf 2 Repeater bzw. Chimes ohne die eine Verbindung nicht ging und dieser nervige und tzende Abo ohne die die Trklingel eigentlich ziemlich unbrauchbar ist. Denn die Verbindung ist immer so schlecht, das es eine Ewigkeit dauert, bis man mal dran ist und bis dahin hat jeder schon die Geduld verloren und ist weg…! Also will man wenigstens wissen, wer es war…ABER ohne Moos nix los… erst muss man blechen. Toll!!!!
So nun zu der Arlo… (um Welten besser!)
Sie wurde ganz fix geliefert, so wie von Amazon gewohnt! Direkt den Akku aufgeladen, Einrichtung ber die App lief schnell und total problemlos. Installation an der Wand/in meinem Fall an der Tr, ging auch super schnell. Direkt ausprobiert und geklingelt – mit 2 Sekunden Verzgerung einen Anruf erhalten, angenommen, Ton ist super! Das Video ist auch bei Nacht gestochen scharf – ich bin begeistert. Das Video luft mit ca 5 Sekndiger Zeitverzgerung, auch wenn man es anschaltet, dauert es ca 5 Sekunden bis eine Verbindung hergestellt wird. ABER dazu muss ich sagen, dass ich hier von einem Haus rede, welches 200 qm hat und wo sich der Router am einen Ende des Hauses im 1. Stock und die Eingangstr mit ARLO Trklingel im Ergdescho am anderen Ende des Hauses befindet. In einem alten Haus mit Betonwnden. Die oben erwhnte Doorbell von Ring brauchte 2 Chimes, um die Verbindung zu berbrcken und hat fr eine Verbindung ca 20 Sekunden gebraucht und ist auch sehr oft an der Videoverbindung gnzlich gescheitert. Unglaublich frustrierend! Das kann ich von der ARLO Doorbell nun gar nicht behaupten. Sie luft super und zuverlssig und braucht diese lcherlichen Chimes berhaupt nicht zur Signalverstrkung DANKE! Es ist nmlich tzend ein neues teures Gert zu kaufen und dann erst mal etliche Zusatzteile erwerben zu mssen, nur damit es annhernd luft.
Ich bin von diesem ALRO Gert begeistert! Toll, dass man sogar Sprachnachrichten abspielen kann, wenn man mal keine Lust hat zu antworten und sogar voreinstellen kann, wenn man mal seine Ruhe braucht – wie genial ist diese Idee. Die auch noch richtig gut funktioniert!
Und die Alexa Anbindung funktioniert so etwas von Problemlos, dass kennt man sonst nur von Apple Gerten. Keinerlei Einrichtung ntig… Halleluja!
