I bought this camera 9months ago, the picture quality day and night are superb! Unfortunately it stopped connecting to the wifi a week ago. On the 7th July I contacted the supplier detailing the problem, and together we could not resolve the problem.
I was told they would send me a new one as a replacement, and that it would arrive by Friday 15th July.
I am pleased to say it arrived today two days earlier than expected. If you need a camera like this you cannot go wrong, as for customer service I’d say this is the best I have ever experienced.
I would strongly recommend this camera and supplier!
The SV3C Security Camera is an impressive camera that suits a wide variety of purposes with flexible mounting placement thanks to the 20x optical zoom. Auto tracking is particularly impressive. The main downside is the sheer size of it.
Pros
Reasonably affordable considering the amount of tech you get.
Spotlight is very bright being both a deterrent and providing colour night video.
Auto tracking people or cars works well and significantly improves the usable footage you get with unwanted guests.
CONS
Physically large so it may be a bit obtrusive to some peoples tastes
The panning isn’t 100% smooth, it sees someone, moves a bit, then moves a bit more as they move across the field of view, but the overall outcome is effective.
Da ich wieder einmal eine neue Auen berwachungskamera brauchte habe ich mich fr die neueste SV3C entschieden und ich bin vollauf damit zufrieden. Die Ersteinrichtung (mache ich immer per LAN Kabel) funktioniert ohne zustzliche Software schnell und einfach per web Browser. Wenn man des WLAN eingerichtet hat kann man die Kamera an ihrem Zielort aufstellen und loslegen.
Diese Kamera hat zustzlich zur IR Beleuchtung auch noch eine weie LED Beleuchtung mit der es mglich ist in der Nacht Farbaufnahmen zu machen. Im Nachtmodus detektiert die Kamera eine Bewegung, schaltet die LED Beleuchtung an und macht super Farbaufnahmen. Die Personenerkennung funktioniert sehr zuverlssig und es werden gleich die Aufnahmen gespeichert.
Bei mir erfolgt die Speicherung der Bilder nicht auf einer SD Karte sondern per ftp Server auf einem NAS. Das klappt einwandfrei und ich kann direkt auf die Bilder zugreifen.
Das 20 fach ZOOM holt wirklich das kleinste Detail heran und mit den 5 Mio Pixel (2560 x 1920) gelingt eine gestochen scharfe, hochauflsende Aufnahme oder live Bild.
Ich bin mit der Kamera sehr zufrieden und kann diese sehr empfehlen.
Die Kamera macht, durch das Metallgehuse, einen sehr Stabilen Eindruck. Die Montage ist besser gelst als bei anderen Kameras. Man muss nur die Metallplatte aus der Halterung Schrauben (ist nur eine Schraube) und die kann man dann an die Wand Montieren wo die Kamera sein soll. Das Kabel muss dann aber noch durch die Halterung gezogen werden.
Nicht so gut ist das die 3 Gewinde, wo die Kamera an die Halterung geschraubt wird, durch die Pulverbeschichtung auch Farbe abbekommen haben. Dadurch greifen die Schrauben nicht gut und das Einschrauben ist Schwergngig. Ich wrde daher empfehlen das Gewinde (Entweder mit einem M4 Gewindebohrer oder mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben) wieder frei zu machen, dann ist die Montage des Halters an die Kamera viel einfacher.
Die Kamera steht bei mir ca. 40 Meter auerhalb, der Empfang ist dann nicht mehr so Stabil. Ich wrde daher die Kamera nher zum Router stellen oder es mit einem Strkeren Router versuchen.
Die Kamera kann auch von Unterwegs Bedient werden, wenn eine Micro SD Karte benutzt wird dann ist es auch mglich das ungewollte Besuche aufgezeichnet werden (Karte ist allerdings nicht mit dabei, die muss man extra kaufen). Auch das Schwenken der Kamera ist einfach.
Wenn die Mglichkeit besteht die Kamera mit einem LAN Kabel zu verbinden wrde ich das bevorzugen. Ansonsten ist aber WLAN auch kein Problem.
Das Bild ist Nachts und Tagsber sehr gut. Auf dem Handy wird mir das Bild eher lnglich angezeigt. ber die IP Adresse der Kamera kann man diese auch im Browser (Google Chrome geht allerdings nicht, ich nutze dafr den Internet Explorer) Bedienen, da ist auch eine Feineinstellung besser Mglich als mit dem Handy.
So this is my latest review of an SV3C camera. I wanted something to look down a long lane and this came with a 20x Zoom, although more expensive fits the bill (but bought when discounted).
The box is well packaged as normal and includes everything required (see photo).
This camera is considerably larger and heavier than anything else purchased before but the lense size is considerable … bigger is better in this case. Included is a photo of an older 1080p camera vs the new version, this is a monster!
Before installation, I put a 64GB SD card in (see photo), well secured behind 4 screws(!) of the cover.
The camera is easier to install than most, before anything, connect the LAN cable to your network and via the CamHi app, find the camera and setup the Wifi network. Also change the user/password, admin-admin not being the most secure.
Mounting is easier with this camera, it comes with a metal plate to secure, then you offer up the camera and secure with a single screw from underneath. I installed mine on a tree (see photo), my bigger problem being the power supply to the location. Wifi reception is good, 50m away from router, through a tree and signal strength >50%.
Once installed, setup via the CamHi app is easy and straightforward.
Position adjustment at full zoom is finer, so focus on the desired position at full zoom and then zoom out.
The image from the large lense on the camera is excellent. By comparison to the other 5MP cameras I have it is far superior due to the improved optics. The attached images show a 1x zoom and an 18x zoom at the same time. The image is around 140m down the lane and you can read a number plate at this zoom, very impressive. I have a 5MP 5x zoom camera half way down the lane and you cannot read the number plate but this camera at full distance it it easy to read. So the camera fulfils the spec … instead of wiring cameras a long distance, let the zoom bring the image to you.
I am very impressed with the quality of the image, a significant step up from previous cameras.
Night vision is excellent from the large LED array. However at full zoom … it far from perfect but not a concern for my usage.

Das ist die dritte Kamera, die ich ausprobiert habe und die Erste, die das macht was in der Leistungssbeschreibung steht. Die Einrichtung war sehr einfach, ebenso die Wandbefestigung. Bildqualitt ist sehr gut. Die Nachverfolgung funktioniert (der Nachlauf ist ein bisschen ruckelig, aber das merkt man kaum). Vor allen Dingen ist zu erwhnen, daass die Menschenerkennung und Alarmauslsung einwandfrei funktionieren. Dafr war die Kamera allerdings auch 100,- teurer als die Beiden, die ich vorher probiert habe. Die 100,- haben sich aber gelohnt.
Ottima telecamera per esterno, completamente in metallo di facile montaggio e configurazione, buona la visione notturna sia a colori che in infrarosso; con l’applicazione CamHi si possono effettuare i vari settaggi della telecamera; acquistate 2 e messe in opera, al momento nessun problema.
vedo differenza di immagine a dist di 10 mt con le altre 5 che ho gi sempre della sv3c hx series ,per il resto facile montaggio ottime prestazioni

I had the original 1080p version of this camera WITHOUT the tracking function and without the colour night option which 2 years ago was the same price.
The camera has these functions and is now 5MP, the tracking function i thought might be a bit hit and miss but wow…..it picks up activity from the end of my street then tracks the person all the way out of the street!!!
I was gobsmacked to ay the least. On top of that it has the “humanoid” function….wasn`t sure what this would do but it completely ignores car movements etc but only tracks the body shape of a human….clever eh. Once i had set the Camera up i was wondering why it wasn`t activating the movement sensor when a car drove past….found out it was the “humanoid” detection function…..and it actually works.
If you were to live on a main road it would ignore all the car activity but track just movements from people.
It is slightly sensitive at night to rain and i have it set so the LED`s light up on detecting movement to “scare” any intruders instead of having the LEDS permanently lit. I have found at night in the rain with flies etc its a little sensitive so i have found a happy medium on the sensitivity and it works really well.
You can also have an audible siren sounding, a dog barking or a pre-recorded message on activation…i found this isn`t necessary as it would really annoy myself and the neighbours but depending where you live this could prove useful….nice option to have

All in all for the money you cant go wrong…x5 zoom if required, colour night vision, a smart tracking system, recorded footage to your devices (with sound), two way audio…all for this price…

Veramente una bella telecamera. Ottimi materiali e qualit dell’immagine molto buona sia di giorno che di notte. Ottimo il riconoscimento delle persone che una volta che passano dalla zona di ricerca vengono seguite in automatico dalla telecamera Gino a quando rimangono nel suo giro di azione. L’app ben fatta e la configurazione della telecamera molto semplice sia attraverso connessione LAN che WI-FI. La consiglioveramente un nell’oggetto!
This is my fourth camera from SV3C and the first PTZ camera. Two are bullet cameras and one is a dome camera and they all also work well.
I have also been impressed with the night vision mode where you have the option to use normal (black and white at night time) or colour or automatic. The Zoom feature is also very responsive as is the humanoid feature and audio settings which also work really well. All of these modes are a real improvement.
There is also an option to use a microSD card (up to 128MB) for storage and this is hidden well underneath the camera and secured with screws in the casing.
All in all, this is an excellent camera with great features, ease of use and is also made really well. Highly recommended.

SV3C are very helpful with thier product support.
The quality of the capture is good and the audio is clear, I used this to detur someone from stealing from my drive. The PTZ control is a bit sluggish on my phone, but thats probably more to do with my phone. Access via the PC is much more responsive. A grate buy all in all.
Only negative that I could find is that it’s not POE.
Hardware
Lato hardware un’ottima telecamera con scocca metallica massiccia, resistente a intemperie e urti, un sensore Sony (che non ha bisogno di presentazioni) con obiettivo 2,7 ~ 13,5 mm, led infrarossi belli grossi e potenti, direzionali per una visione notturna decente. Dalla staffa, come sempre nelle telecamere di questo tipo, fuoriescono i fili che sono uno per l’alimentazione (in dotazione), uno per il cavo ethernet (a cui occorre collegarla per la prima configurazione con cui impostare l’eventuale Wi-Fi a cui si vuole collegare se si preferisce un collegamento senza fili), e un terzo cavo che nasconde un pulsante per il reset del dispositivo (che avrei preferito nascosto dentro la testa della camera dove si trova la micro sd).
Qualitativamente parlando, per la scocca della camera, ha una fattura veramente buona che fa invidia a tanti altri prodotti sul mercato.
Ottimo anche il fatto che la capsula superiore sia fissa e dentro questa vi siano i motori che fanno ruotare la telecamera che, dalla pioggia, resta protetta dalla capsula superiore.
Software
Lato software usa l’app CamHipro (anche se sul manuale indicato di usare CamHi compatibile con CamHipro che fatta meglio) che consente di gestire piuttosto bene la telecamera. Ha le classiche funzioni di motion detect e pianificazione ma ha anche tutte quelle integrazioni che la rendono professionale e sfruttabile in impianti di video sorveglianza strutturati con un NVR che registra gli allarmi. Il dispositivo ha infatti il protocollo ONVIF che consente di integrarsi perfettamente in un sistema con NVR anche se nella rete sono in uso telecamere di altri brand.
Possibile la configurazione, via brawser, pi approfondita, che consente di modificare parametri che dall’app non si possono toccare e che sono interventi riservati a chi sa quello che fa.
Naturalmente ha l’human detect che consente di individuare e distinguere gli esseri umani dai movimenti di oggetti riducendo cos gli allarmi.
La micro sd (non fornita) un ulteriore garanzia utile in due casi: qualora la si usi senza alcun NVR nella rete, cos registrer e sar possibile, da remoto, visionare le riprese registrate tramite l’app, oppure, per chi la configura per un uso pi professionale, la micro SD funzioner da backup delle immagini gi registrate dall’NVR.
E’ quindi possibile usarla anche senza altri apparati, semplicemente con la sua app che lavora molto bene ed facile e intuitiva anche se talvolta mal tradotta nelle schermate di configurazione iniziale.
Lato zoom e qualit video, nulla da eccepire, si comporta bene, zooma senza difficolt con una buona definizione e qualit video con una messa a fuoco automatica niente male.
Configurazione iniziale
Se si vuole usare in Wi-Fi occorre dare le credenziali alla telecamera e per farlo, alla prima accensione occorrer collegarla via cavo ethernet (presente in confezione) al router di casa cos che telecamera e smartphone siano sulla stessa rete. A quel punto dall’app si aggiunge un nuovo dispositivo di tipo “telecamera IP”, si sceglie “dispositivo in uso” (che una traduzione assurda per una nuova telecamera) e da li si sceglie di cercarla nella rete premendo su “cerca dispositivi vicini”
Fatto questo viene aggiunta alla lista dei propri dispositivi e si pu vedere in qualunque momento anche da remoto.
Per impostare la rete wireless (a 2.4Ghz) occorrer andare nelle impostazioni alla voce “impostazioni Wi-Fi” e scegliere rete e password.
Complessivamente un prodotto che costa, non poco, ma che vale tutto quello che costa, specialmente per visione notturna e zoom che sono entrambi veramente ottimi come mostrato nella video recensione.
Complessivamente lo trovo un ottimo prodotto consigliato.
I turned it on, found it’s WiFi on my phone, joined it, Found the default IP 192.168.1.80, logged into with admin/admin and then added it to my Wifi. Once added I could get to it on it’s new IP on my network and configure it as required. This is a heavy duty bit of kit with great image quality.

Installation was incredibly simple – a much simpler bracket than my previous cameras.
Really pleased at how wide the camera image is – to the point that I don’t actually NEED the PTZ on it! It’s good to have though.
Image quality is exceptional even at night – better than my previous camera, which was the same resolution.
I’ve not tried the humanoid detection recording trigger yet – I’ll need to set up an FTP server to receive the video. I can see it highlighting people with a yellow rectangle in the preview though, and it’s very accurate – even spotting a head hanging out of the window. Amazon won’t let me attach a photo with people in it, so I’ve attached a snapshot taken from the video to indicate quality.
Still disappointed to find a lack of SMB support for storing captured images/video – I’ve fed this back to them via their support mailbox, so I’m really hoping to see it in a future update.
Telecamera dall’ottimo rapporto qualit prezzo. Arriva ben imballata con tutti gli accessori necessari quindi antenna wifi, alimentatore e protezione per connettore Ethernet.
provvista sia di connessione wireless (2.4 ghz) che Ethernet. Non POE ma si pu aggirare molto facilmente il problema utilizzando degli adattatori POE passivi.
Qualit video molto alta, sia in modalit notturna che diurna. Ha uno zoom ottico con autofocus di qualit. Interfaccia web e servizio p2p utilizzando la sua app. Audio bidirezionale. Migliorabile magari il software che permette di seguire le persone magari integrando la possibilit di fare uno zoom sul viso per stiamo parlando di funzioni che normalmente hanno le ipcam professionali.
Funziona ONVIF che permette l’integrazione con la maggior parte degli NVR. Personalmente la utilizzo con NVR Hikvision serie I2 e funziona perfettamente.
Personalmente l’ho configurata con cavo Ethernet e alimentazione con poe passivo e funziona da diversi giorni senza problemi.
Diese Kamera ist meine zweite berwachungskamera und ich bin wirklich positiv berrascht. Ich hatte zuvor eine 30 Kamera, die nach zwei Monaten nicht mehr funktionierte und mit dieser hier wirklich nicht zu vergleichen ist. Die Kamera hier fhlt sich sehr hochwertig an und ist leicht anzubringen. Man braucht kein Vorwissen oder Sonstiges um etwas zu verstehen, es ist alles in der Anleitung simpel beschrieben. Als ich die Kamera das erste mal bei Nacht ausprobierte war ich nicht nur von der Auflsung erstaunt sondern auch davon, wie gut man etwas erkennen konnte durch die Infrarot Funktion. Bis jetzt hat die Kamera ihre Aufgabe super erfllt und ich konnte sogar auf meinem Handy schon mehrmals meine Katze beobachten, als ich eine Meldung fr eine Bewegung von der Kamera bekommen habe. Whrenddessen konnte ich sogar einstellen dass der Blickwinkel auf die Katze gerichtet bleiben soll. Ich werde die berwachungskamera aufjedenfall weiterhin nutzen und ich bereue es nicht auch mal ein bisschen mehr fr so eine Kamera bezahlt zu haben. 🙂
Amazon hat, wie immer, schnell geliefert. Die Kamera ist komplett aus Metall und macht einen wertigen Eindruclk. Kurz angeschlossen und programmiert. Der erste Eindruck vom Bild ist schonmal sehr gut. Kamera auen auf gehangen und via WLAN angebunden. Auch das funktioniert tadellos. Alles fertig konfiguriert und in die Synology Surveillance Station eingebunden. Interessant ist in dem Zusammenhang die Personenverfolgung. Ein Feature, das zu dem guten Bild noch dazu kommt. Kennt man eigentlich nur von noch teureren Gerten. Funktioniert richtig gut.
Alles in Allem eine gute Kamera mit ONVIF 2.4 an Bord. Auch das Nachtbild ist Klasse. Zustzlich kann man noch auf farbige Nachtsicht umschalten. Dazu wird der berwachte Raum mit normalem Licht ausgeleuchtet.
Ich denke, da ist demnchst noch eine zweite fllig.
Die Lieferung durch Amazon war wie immer sehr schnell.
Ich bin vollstens zufrieden mit der Kamera.
Die Kamera ist mit ihrem Metallgehuse sehr robust und schwer(1,15 Kg).
Die Ersteinrichtung habe ich ber das Webinterface mit dem Internet Explorer gemacht, wo man auch sehr viele Einstellmglichkeiten hat. Alles ist in Deutsch. Man kann sich von der Webseite auch noch Bedienugsanleitungen und Software herunterladen.
Die beiden dazugehrigen Apps CamHi und CamHipro funktionieren einwandfrei.
Mir persnlich gefllt die App CamHi besser. Auch kann man mit den Apss nach einen Firmwareupdate suchen fr die Kamera.
Super Bildqualitt bei Tag und bei Nacht.
Meschenerkennung bei Bewegung, Zoom und automatische Verfolgung funktioniert einwandfrei.
Was mir dabei am besten gefllt ist Folgendes: Wenn es Nacht ist und die Kamera erkennt eine Bewegung von einem Menschen, schaltet die Kamera weie Leds an und so wird dann auch ein Farbbild/Farbvideo aufgezeichnet. Diese Funktion kann man in den Apps einstellen. Desweiteren hat man sich dadurch auch eine Aussenlampe erspart.
Da die Kamera auch ONVIF/RTSP beherscht ist es auch kein Problem die Aufnahmen extern zu speichern(in meinem Fall auf einen USB Stick, der in meiner Fritz!Box eingesteckt ist).
Die Kamera hat sich auerordentlich gut bewhrt und deshalb von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Qualit materiali : Il movimento della telecamera ottimale, risulta motorizzata sia sull’asse verticale, sia su quello orizzontale. Appare di buona solidit, robusta e abbastanza pesante. Buona qualit costruttiva, meccanismo di movimento silenzioso, preciso e molto reattivo dall’app (cosa NON scontata visto che un’altra telecamera da me acquistata in precedenza al triplo del prezzo ha tempi di reazione all’input del movimento di diversi secondi, rendendo frustrante l’utilizzo di tale funzione).
Dimensioni e peso: Stabile una volta fissata con le viti, dimensioni del collo 18.2 x 17.2 x 11.9 cm, 1.5 Kg
Prezzo : Soddisfacente, a mio giudizio molto competitivo per la qualit della camera, le mie acquistate in precedenza, anche pi costose non erano cosi buone. Ottima la possibilit di applicare un coupon sconto in fase d’acquisto.
Conclusioni: ritengo di aver trovato una camera molto al di sopra delle mie aspettative per un prezzo cosi contenuto, merita le 5 stelle e ve la consiglio se state cercando un prodotto del genere.
Spedizione: Ordine arrivato davvero molto in fretta con prime, preciso e confezionato in modo esemplare, tutti i venditori on-line dovrebbero prendere spunto. Essendo un oggetto delicato mi ha fatto molto piacere.
