    My previous camera seemed to just die on me and refused to connect. I contacted customer services and they advised on a fix, which unfortunately didn’t work. However, they have sent me a new camera which i fitted today and was pleased it connected first time. Would recommend both the camera and the customer service personnel.

    Excellent product does exactly what it says and saves me messing around trying to fit one again as it really is super simple.

    Unfortunately the slider has snapped off the camera unit. It still bolts to the mount but has a bit of play in it which is unfortunate however excellent product and totally recommend otherwise

    The camera system is really good. I have it on the back of a caravan, so the distance to the front of the car is quite far but works a treat. Worth getting if you have a caravan. One negative was that the camera itself failed; but the customer service direct from AutoVOx was excellent. A couple of emails and a new one was sent out in the week without question.

    Easy to fit and working fine so far (just a few days). One word of warning. I fitted it above my number plate but neglected to check if I could still access the boot catch. Unfortunately I couldn’t so had to remove and refit below plate. Contacted support to see if they could supply a replacement double sided tape but apparently delivery from China is 7/8 weeks. So instead they made a refund which more than covered the cost of of an appropriate replacement on ebay. Great customer service. Highly recommended

    Really good aftermarket addition to any vehicle, mine is fitted above the number plata and with a little bit of re shaping of the bracket gives me a perfect rear view.
    I had a minor issue with the battery life but the camera was swiftly replaced by the company with excellent communication.
    This is a quality product, I am looking at ways to link it to automatic switch on once reverse is selected.

    Ordered on 10th November, 2023 and Arrived the following day. Easy to install, as even I could do it!! Picture quality is fantastic as is the Reception. The Number Plate on my car is at a slight tilt and as the Camera has had to be fitted at the bottom, I will have to “tweek” the bracket a little to ensure the Camera is pointing further down towards the ground. But that’s the fault build of the car, not the Camera Unit.

    Although my 2006 911 was crying out for a reversing camera (and for some reason Porsche haven’t produced one – not even as an option with the new PCCM Plus upgrade), I was hesitant at first as I didn’t want to take away from the originality of my car or start running new cables through it. But the Auto-Vox TW1 camera is unobtrusive and also a doddle to fit (and remove if necessary), and I couldn’t resist trying it out. It really couldn’t be better, with hardly any lag on startup and a clear image in the screen on the dash. Very highly recommended.

    For months, I was looking ways to retrofit a reverse cam in my vauxhall Crossland X2019 but got extremely pricey quoates. Then one day found out this wireless cam and right then and there my problem solved. Although now I have an extra little monitor on my dash but thats fine and its just about right sized monitor so doesn’t take too much space. Great resolution, has parking lines and efficient-all I needed. thanks

    Went for this product because wanted a wireless reverse camera for my car and it ticks all the boxes. Easy 5 mins installation and quality is decent too. You can charge it with a wire or it has solar charging too. Been using it for a week and so far so good. So if you don’t want to spend hours installing and money then go for this product.
    Also friendly and professional service from their customer service representative Kaya who kindly extended my warranty to 18 months and assured me for support if needed.

    The reversing camera is very good it has a reversing grid and very clear picture. I had an issue with camera after a couple of months. But I contacted direct as the return date through amazon was only a month.

    I have to say the after sale service was absolutely brilliant. I contacted in the
    evening and by the next day they had replied and resolved my issue by replacing the camera and replaced it very quickly. Even quicker than they told me. Best customer service I have come across for a long time. Special thanks to Vicky.

    What can I say ! Vicky at VOX has been just amazing. There are very few Customer Service departments which operate in this way. I originally bought VOXs Solar1 Pro, but found it was not quite what I needed. With Vickys guidance she put me onto their W7 PRo, not only that Vicky offered me to return the Solar1 OR I could take a refund of either 15% if I kept the Solar1 or in full if I return it. Added to this Vicky has also given me a 15% discount on the W7 Pro (I messed up on my original purchase of the W7 Pro, and only ordered the W7, Vicky was exceptionally quick off the mark and swiftly emailed me to point out my error). If ALL the staff at VOX are as efficient as Vicky then they are truly going places. If you need a great piece of equipment WITH a FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE TO BOOT then you will not go far wrong in dealing with VOX and in particular Vicky.     Have to say I was somewhat sceptical about this camera without hard wiring. However, I’m not technical and didn’t want the hassle and disruption of the electrics and channelling wiring throughout my motorhome. I purchased and have been so pleased. It really is a no fuss and easy fit in a few minutes. The solar charger is excellent and works extremely well. I’ve now got a great bit of reversing kit on my 17 year old motorhome and it has transformed manoeuvring with the vehicle. From the outset, the purchase, delivery and customer service has been first class. Vicky made contact shortly after purchase to ensure I was totally happy. I couldn’t have asked for anything more, particularly with such a competitive price.

    This product was easy to fit, once charged the camera battery lasted for weeks without further charge. The picture quality is very good slight degradation in poor light but only to be expected.
    This is the first time I have used a camera to reverse my trailer but once I had practiced a couple to runs it made a massive difference to my reverse accuracy and confidence.
    Would highly recommend.

    Installed in a small motorhome. Easy to do. It’s early days but seems to do what I expected. Installation onto the number plate is tricky as it’s designed for US plates but I found another way. Remains to be seen about the solar charging in the winter. Great customer service when extending the warranty

    Very easy to install. Once charged the camera linked to the monitor straight away.
    Took me a while to realise the monitor fits on the dashboard, you can’t get the right angle to windscreen mount. Longest job was removing the rear registration plate and cleaning everything prior to fitting the camera mount. Very pleased with it.
    Being able to tilt the camera means I can angle it down to see the towball when hitching up the trailer. Very useful.

    My T6 has barn doors, so the camera image is slightly offset from central. This is fine. I’ve used it many times day and night and it has made reversing the van so much easier – I have no other sensors. I preferred a dashboard mount for the screen, to avoid removing it every time we camp and attach the thermal screen to the window. I was not sure how well the mount holder’s suction cup would stick to the dashboard surface, so I used a 3M dashboard pad mounting disk sourced from Amazon (‘Volport’). Seems okay, so far. This wireless reversing camera is convenient to fix and is working well. Vicky has been really helpful with the extended warranty too.

    Bought & fit to the rear number plate of our caravan. Product works very well and picture quality is really really good. Solar power keeps it topped up, but can be charged in situ if needed (30 mins charge after an 800 mile journey when it was used regularly). The only way this product could be improved is for the display time to be increased. Max time is 2 minutes before you need to press the manual switch to turn it back on again.

    The kit came in very good packaging. The individual items seem very well made. Easily fixed to the rear license plate of my Mazda Bongo. The camera was full charged on arrival, there is a small battery condition icon on the monitor. Controls are easy to set. Altogether I am very pleased. I registered my outfit for the 3 year warranty by email. Great experience so far. AJ

    This is a great product. I have a wheelchair adapted small van with a ramp, I find the camera very helpful for judging how far I can back up and still be able to get my wheelchair out. I did have a small problem with camera connectivity but rest assured you will get your problem resolved from their friendly fast efficient customer care team. I can’t recommend this company enough

    I’ve looked at a range of reversing cameras. Some are not wifi and need holes drilling into the car to get the camera lead into the hatchback, and a pain to route the cable through the car. Others are wifi but the camera still needs a power lead, so again drilling to get the wire through the hatch by the numberplate and then having to tap into the reversing light lead.

    This is far simpler. The camera attaches with a very strong and well designed bracket to the numberplate. It has a rechargeable battery which I will recharge every few months on the car using a power bank. And the screen has a plug into the 12v socket with a USB socket to feed other devices and an easy access switch to switch it on.

    In addition it is packaged very nicely, and the instruction book is very clear and easy to read, in excellent english.

    Highly recommended it works well.

    Purchased product to fit on my Skoda Octavia. The fitting process was very easy, perhaps the longest part being the removal of the sticky pads from my number plate. The monitor had to be connected to the 12v car cigarette lighter socket. Unlike most cars mine has an USB (C) socket so I had a slight technical hitch there. I contacted customer support and following advice purchased a USB(C) male to 12v cigarette lighter socket converter cable from Amazon for 10.25. Auto Vox offered to reimburse my costs. The camera works fine and I am very pleased with it. Customer Services were exceptionally helpful throughout. I would highly recommend this product.

Here we go: Auto Vox Solar 1 pro back up camera purchased by me in March/April this year and everything worked as expected after an initial charge. However power supply for the the camera suddenly failed in August for some reason. It could be water ingress, but I don’t know. I got in touch by email with Auto Vox via their website providing my Amazon purchase order number. Vicky from Auto Vox was super prompt in getting back to me and was really helpful with troubleshooting suggestions. She did not hesitate to send me a replacement camera unit because I still couldn’t make it work after a day of trying her suggestions. The monitor is fine, it’s just the camera that no longer switches on. Vicky was informative about when the new one would be sent out to me. My new solar camera has now arrived after just a few days. The fixing plate that holds the camera in place is still stuck to the back of my van and can stay there – no need to remove it, I just need to undo a tiny screw to allow me to slide out the old camera/solar unit from the metal plate. I’m charging up the replacement camera at the moment and I can then slide it onto the metal plate. They provide 2 screws in case one gets dropped during fitting and disappears! It also came with another allen key. Bottom line: when you have good customer service, problem solved.

    This nice little camera changed my driving experience. I always hated reverse parking but this camera shows me where I’m going! Such a wonderful gadget! The installation is really easy, and the image is clear too. I don’t feel any time lag at all.

    The package included an instruction to extend the warranty to 18 months, so I emailed the customer support as instructed. The customer support was excellent too. I told them that I love this new gadget and mounting on the surface of my car has been a challenge (no flat surface) but I still really love the product and the customer support was very very helpful!!!! I’m not accustomed to such genuine and friendly customer support anymore after experiencing automated chat services that would just bombard me with links to follow but none of which will actually solve my problem then eventually tell me to call a certain number after wasting so much time on the chat bot then 45 mintue wait on the phone to speak to a human representative.
    This was truly an amazing shopping experience. Thank you!!!

    The unit feels substantial. It works well. When deciding where to mount it I initially missed where the solar panel was, but you can just see it on the rear face. After 1 preliminary charge it has worked well for the last 2500 miles. I can only assume the solar charging is working well.
    I wondered why a spare tiny bolt was supplied, but the security bolt is so tiny if you dropped it on grass or gravel you’d have little chance of finding it again so a spare is great.
    It paired very quickly, no interference.
    The image is much better than the one built into the motorhome so I am delighted.
    The small security bolt is functional to a certain extent but could easily be overcome, but as the camera would be little use without the screen, I doubt anyone would nick it.
    The button on the 12v plug to trigger the camera is a bit temperamental, so not perfect, but pulling and reinserting the plug switched it on again.
    Overall I’m very pleased with it but will request a new lead +/- screen.

    Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI bought this item as I have had similar wired products in my camper but hate routing loads of wires everywhere and trying to hide them. This worked straight out of the box for me. Took monitor out,plugged it in the position I wanted it using cig lighter adapter, switched on camera (which seemed charged up already) and instantly saw picture. Mounted camera/battery unit via double sided tape onto rear of vehicle. Job done. Works very well. Configured menu how I wanted it to work and that’s it. There is a switch on the plug in body that you push and screen turns on to show rear of van. Better than wiring to reverse lights and running multiple wires. The power use seems minimal and with the solar charging on the camera you are guaranteed around 75 days or more use without charging it up at all. We will see. Product seems heavy and well made and a proper bit of kit,rather than a cheap and nasty gimmic. All in all not the cheapest option by any means,but also not overpriced in my opinion,but for quality and simplicity of install,this is a great product. So far I’m happy with it.

What attracted me to AutoVox was the ease of installation, in that the camera-to-screen is wireless. I chose to attach the camera with double-sided tape. Fitting behind the number plate was not an option. Locating the screen in the car was easy and the screen is a good size and very sharp. My only grouse is that the screen shuts off after a maximum of two minutes. I would have preferred it to have been permanently on so that it could be used as a rearview mirror. I know there is a version that does this, but could not justify the expense. If it did, it would have got five stars.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this kit when my Mercedes Parktronic system failed and the cost of fixing it looked prohibitive. It arrived two days earlier than expected and was well packaged. The component parts had a solid feel to them and once fitted I was very pleased with the system. I tested the system by reversing towards my recycling bins which allowed me to determine at what distance I went into the red zone on the monitor. Before fitting the camera to the rear number plate I watched a YouTube video which said it was a five minute job. In 99% of cases I think this is a reasonably accurate statement but in my case two of my four number plate screws had seized and I had to drill them out and re-tap two new holes. Also, I agree with a previous review, which highlighted a minor problem of accessing the boot release catch. This is unlikely to be a problem on most cars. Just one other piece of advice: I could not get the monitor to stick to the facia as my facia is not totally smooth. I found a perfectly good position at the bottom right hand corner of my windscreen. If I really had to fix it on the facia some double sided sticky tape would have done the job. Please don’t take my last comments as criticisms, just advice. I am very happy with the system and have already recommended to a colleague.

    Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEverything great apart from the solar panel slightly obscure a part of my Irish number plates where the name of the issuing county is in Irish at the top centre of the number plate, the registration number is not obscured so that’s not a problem.
    Also my Skoda car boot lid opening is over the middle of the number plate so I can’t easily get my fingers in to open the boot. Luckily I can use my key fob to open it so not a problem.
    In future I will move the camera lower on the number plate where I can then access the boot opening. I was keeping the camera as high up on the number plate so as not to obscure the County of origin name. It was totally my own fault, I’ll be wiser the next time
    I mention that because I hadn’t foreseen these problems until I had the camera stuck onto the number plate.
    Taking everything into account I’m very happy with my purchase, can’t comment on the longevity of the product as I’ve only been using it for a short while. I had photos I had taken myself of the issues in my initial review but the review was rejected so this time I haven’t included photos.
