We bought this with a bit of skepticism and it isn’t as small as you think but it definitely does expand when in use. The squirter gun attachments has many different options which I love more than I thought. I use 1 option to water the grass, a different one to water hanging baskets and another to fill up our fountain and yet another to wash down our cars. You even get a hanging bracket for it. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the hanging bracket is of thin plastic and a bit flimsy and is already twisting and swiveling on the wall when you take the hose on or off it and I think it will not last very long. But the hose is good though.
Haven’t used it yet but seems ok. Good brass connector with stop tap, comes with wall hanger and fitting screws

Used to love it but after less than one year has burst for no reason. Pretty disappointing and not as good quality as imagined.

Cheap for what you get, easy to connect to the tap. All metal fittings, not the cheap plastic ones!!! I’m happy with my purchase

Just a delight to use to water on many different nozzle features so light compared to our old traditional hose and certainly makes watering a pleasure rather than a chore.
This hose had a hole from first use. Contacted seller twice no reply so shortened hose to cut out the hole. On the third time of using another hole appears and the gun on the end started leaking. Goin in the bin!!!
I love this product in that’s easy to use and manoeuvre around the garden , and if it has to come through part of your house , it doesn’t present a problem.
Purchased 100ft hose. Had issues with old style hoses before and with connection to outside tap. This hose comes with connection for 3/4 inch tap which fitted fine (just remove the top section which seems to be the 1/2 inch connection). Easy to assemble. Instructions say insert washers provided but these seem to be in place already so didn’t do that. Despite pressure from tap being not great the hose filled with water in a minute or so and was then ready to go. No leakage from tap or spray attachment which both seem pretty secure. Lots of variation on spray settings which all seem to work fine. Was concerned that hose might not return to its original compact state, but once water supply turned off at tap it was easy to keep spraying until all the water in the hose was used up and the hose returned to its original size. Pleasantly surprised as my previous experience with hoses has been stressful. It’s taken all the hassle out of garden watering and set me up to use a pressure washer. Long may it continue.
This hose is lightweight, easy to use, comes with tap hanger, has various spray setttings and is just generally a great hose for the money. Even better than the hose tbh is the customer service I received from this seller, absolutely outstanding and second to none! If all businesses could be this amazing it would make shopping so much easier and a better experience. Thank you
We bought one of these a year ago and have used it about a dozen times. It was brilliant and the spray head was just as good as the more expensive makes. We saw another one going cheap so bought it as a spare which we are glad we did as the first on popped and covered everyone and everything. Hopefully the second one will last a little longer.
My husband has been using a leaky, floppy old plastic hosepipe for EVER. I bought him this and he has not looked back. The plants prefer it too, as the nozzle on the top allows you to adjust from a fierce jet to a gentle sprinkle so we adjust according to the job we are doing. Really pleased with this.

Its a good hose and very compact with a good range of spray settings. The only downside is controlling the hose as its filling up with water but that will be the same for any hose of this style!
Hose seems great but, as half-expected, it didn’t connect to our kitchen mixer tap. On day 1, I cobbled together a solution using a cut balloon, duct tape, and a couple of kitchen towels, which very slowly managed to fill a paddling pool. For day 2, I ordered a Hozelock mixer tap hose adaptor for about 10 which does the job perfectly (pictured)
I haven’t actually used this particular hose yet. I bought it as a spare, the one I am using is several years old now, and there is a small suspect bubble that could burst at any moment. I can’t praise these hoses enough, they take up so little room when stored, yet expand magically to 100 feet in length, brilliant.
I love this hosepipe and the way it retracts back on itself , I had a problem contacted amazon but was told id have to return it to them and order a new one. This usually is ok but it says on the description 12 month gaurantee, but nothing about refund return and buying another. I would have liked the option to return back to seller and discuss this small but important issue, its a niggly problem.
I ordered one far too long for what I needed, but then found that I needed it long!! It’s really useful, being long though means it gets tangled easily and takes longer to fill. My advice would be to order just the length you need.

i love this hosepipe – every other one I’ve ever had has been a bulky, unwieldy thing that requires hefting around and is a large, unsightly lump of brightly coloured plastic hanging on my wall.
This baby is so little, it’s really unobtrusive as when it’s empty, it shrinks back to hardly anything. It’s actually quite cool to watch! (My puppy finds it very interesting…!)
I had a problem with mine, as it started to leak, but their customer service experience was excellent – thanks to RiJingWang for sending me a replacement so promptly, with charm and helpfulness.
I highly recommend this product – perfect for a small garden, but stretchy enough for a big one too!

Easy to store hose without the need for reeling it in as per plastic hoses
I bought this as you can see Feb 2021 it has not had a lot of use but today it was on the lawn no hazards anywhere and it just burst. I would hope this can be replaced . I have not left water in the pipe nor left it unused attached to the incoming water. I look forward to hearing from you. With thanks
I was sceptical about this as I worried the material could rip easily, however it’s been dragged dropped and scraped around the garden over bark and slate and also around brick wall corners and it’s surprised me! The selection of jets is brill for all kinds of uses in the garden and it’s powerful, my previous hose pipes weren’t and I assumed it was my tap pressure that was low. It’s so lightweight and best of all it NEVER tangles! Super stretchy and durable. Brilliant buy and highly recommend.
I have already fitted one in my own garden perfectly well, but ibn another garden the fitting on the (correct) end of the hose will not push up on to the tap with its fitting. Probably me so I will try again or ask someone else. My hose is perfect.
The connection supplied with hose didn’t fit the outdoor tap. Had to buy a connection. But apart from that brilliant hose and light weight and delivery was on time.
Hose was only used three times and it leaks halfway between tap and spray nozzle

Good hose if you don’t need it to connect to anything (e.g. pressure washer) – lots of adapters included for the handle but not suitable for using with other accessories.
I bought a big named product of this hose last year and it was no way as good as this and half the length too. This hose has brilliant fittings to use on different size outdoor taps and brilliant hose head with lots of different spray types. I bought one for my daughter and her husband and they love theirs too. I would honestly recommend to friends and family.
I love this hose pipe, I originally went on Amazon to find a new trigger but ended up buying this as it was cheaper than buying just the trigger. I could not be happier, it packs away in a bag when you’re finished and the fact that it comes with quality brass fixings and a very good trigger mechanism just beggars belief for the price. It’s a no brainer in my opinion. Fantastic value, just buy it you won’t be disappointed.
I use this to clean the car from the tap in the garage. Fits the tap perfectly and folds back into the storer provided easily. When the water is on it stretches far enough to clean all of the car on the drive. The pressure is good and I mainly use the shower and full setting to shift any grime or birds muck. The hose does not get stuck under the wheels and is light to manoeuvre around the car.
I have just been asked by amazon to rate this hose, so here goes. The hose looks good and works well and comes with all the fittings that you would like, the downside is that when you have finished what you are using the hose for, all the water in the hose is wasted because it is not possible to store it with it full of water, catch 22. I also am unable yet to say what the durability is I’ve only had it for two weeks, so I will give it a 4 star but i’m guessing.

My daughter has had one of these for 2 years and kept on at me to ditch my old heavy tangled rubber one in favour of one like hers.. Last week I did. What an idiot Ive been, struggling with the old one. This expanding one one is so light and easy to use, more than reaching the furthest part of my garden (and car). So easy to store in its bag and hook in the garage. With a small modification to the hose fitment, it even fits my Miracle-Gro feeder bottle. Really pleased.
This is the 2 nd one off this type off hose and both have punctured within 4 months
Updated in 2022: this Hose is just over a year old and it’s split today.
2021: I had never had a hosepipe before and this was my first time setting one up. The instructions assume a lot of knowledge and could probably be more detailed, but once the set up was complete, I was satisfied with the product.

Nearly spent this much just on hose connectors when I was first looking. The hose itself is shorter than I expected, but the hose head has such good options – and water pressure – that I can still reach the end of the garden with the spray, so all good.
The only issue I have is the lack of pictoral instructions – took a while to work out how to fit it to the tap as there are so many connector options included.
I was very pleased with this purchase, perfect for everything. Would recommend.

Ok, the only downside is it looks a little weird and shrivelly, but wow! This is the perfect garden hose so far. The fittings are excellent quality, the shrinking expanding thing turns out to be amazing, and it just does the job really well. I’m a convert. No more fighting with very long garden hoses trying to roll them back up or having them lying around all over the place. Also the perfect hose for lazy gardeners who don’t like tidying up after jobs – the hose pretty much ours itself away for you and saves all that effort you need to coil a normal one. I will say, it only works with proper connectors (I borrowed a friends one once and tried using it with a sink tap adaptor- the pressure wasn’t sufficient to expand the hose) so that’s something to consider.

I’ve had one of these hoses before, albeit from a different source and it lasted 12 months. It was left outside in all weathers and the cats would attack it when it expanded, so 12 months was actually pretty good going.
If you want to use this hose as a commercial window cleaner, dragging it here there and everywhere then look elsewhere, these hose won’t withstand the punishment.
However, treat it with some kindness and it’s awesome.
I wasn’t expecting much in the way of quality for the connectors and spray nozzle at this price-point but metal connectors and a reasonable nozzle is what you’ll get.
It expands when you fill, and contracts when you turn the pressure off. A magical feat to behold!
I’ve bought this one to for washing the car, using the tap at the front of the house, rather than dragging the somewhat long, heavy, industrial-looking garden hose for the back garden, through the house.
If you want the hose to last, I wouldn’t leave it out in all weathers, as I suppose you’re probably not supposed to do with most hoses. So, I keep it in the garage, bring it out when I need to and put it back again. Once disconnected and empty, it’s lightweight, easily portable and even came with it’s own pouch to store it in.
It does the job for what I want it to do, very well.
After the long hot summer I was fed up pulling out my traditional green garden hose and trailing it around the outside of house(corner plot and tap at back)for lawn , car and power washing , it was so bulky,always had a kink restricting water supply , really dirty and messy when reeling back . This new expanding hose is the answer to my prayers, lightweight , easy to handle , returns to its original size very well after use ( all water must be drained out) and had a great over the tap holder for ease of storage. It comes with brass connectors and fittings (better than my old plastic ones that were easily cracked) .On using this expanding hose I find it a great all rounder for all the outside jobs that require water.A storage bag is also provided for winter months .Its now a pleasure not a task when I want to use garden hose , I used to be frustrated thinking about the job I would have winding back my old hose , it always tangled and my arm got sore winding round (an age thing ) not anymore ! It’s now a pleasure and my grandkids love to use it in the garden too on a summers day to keep cool ! They enjoy there play and my garden gets watered at same time it’s a win win . Highly recommend this product .

I have been a big fan of the flexible hose for a long time, this will be my third. The hardest part with these hoses is finding a company that has a good reliable hose. The hose itself shows promise so far, but the multi use hand gun failed on the second time out, decided it was easier to buy a new one rather than complain.
We received the hose in December 2019, and really enjoyed using it. Initially very little but these last 2 months about every other week, washing the car… A very practical hose, taking very little space when stored. Unfortunately, the hose burst this week. There wasn’t any extra stress on it, as it was just laying in the garden, and I was getting ready to use it, when it suddenly burst, and that was it…. I am not sure if this was an irregular soft spot or if this happens with more customers, but I was not very happy when this happened. It is also unclear how to contact the seller as there is a 12 months warranty… but how? Basically a very good hose, but unfortunate a bad burst making the hose unusable after 6 months.
What an amazing, easy to manage hose. This is my first expandable hose and I am blown away by it. The brass connectors provide a really solid lock on the tap. They give you the option of a push fit or screw fit at the tap end. I used the push fit onto a plastic adaptor on the tap and not one drop of water leaked out. Even with the pressure up high it didn’t leak.
The hose is really light weight and fits neatly into the carry bag supplied. All of the water emptied out on its own after use. You can tell by the weight that it’s not holding onto any water.
I haven’t used the spray gun yet as I was just refilling water butts on my allotment. The valve at that end of the hose worked perfectly. Again, no leakage. Attaching to sprinklers etc will be a doddle as you can turn off the water without having to go back to the tap.
I’m so happy with this hose and highly recommend it.
I have only used the hose once seems ok, but my neighbor bought the exact same hose a few days later and on the second use the hose ruptured. I have since ordered a stronger 3 core more stronger hose. My tip is to buy the new updated stronger more expensive that you can afford.
Great. I have to remember to turn the tap onto almost full flow to ensure the hose keeps full of water while using. Love the ease of gathering up & releasing out again.
Great hose pipe but after 9 months the pipe burst. Very disappointed as I was happy until this point. Having contacted the seller they very quickly have replaced the hose free of charge. So I have a working hose again.
Didn’t realise when I was purchasing it that you could feel water through the hose, acts a bit like an irrigation hose, not great if having to run it through house like us, but does the job I guess.
An absolutely brilliant hose, store away in a tiny bag. Takes up far less space than a traditional hose and is much longer. Made from a really high quality material the hose extends in size. Fittings are spot on, easy to attach and don’t cause any leaks. Standard fitting. The set also comes with a spray head which has many different settings that can be access by turning the head. Easy to store away and if you don’t want to use the bag it comes with a wall mount. An absolutely brilliant hose, beats the old style ones any day, easy to store, to use and it won’t get tangled or kinked. Love it.
I bought this garden hose pipe to replace the old one which is broken. I ordered it on last Monday evening and got it a few days later. I compared it with similar products and finally decided to buy it because the output of water pressure when I saw another reviewer’s video.
This one is really useful after I tested it few times. The weight is light, 100ft with 8 function spray is good enough for me. The water pressure is strong enough to the car, front and back garden. The old one was made by plastic so it was easy to blend and messy to tidy up after used, this one is more convenient.
I wanted a hose that was less faff to coil and uncoil than my existing two and was longer so that I could comfortably wash the car while parked on the road at the bottom of the drive and light enough to use conveniently to wash the gutters on the roof-line. This fits the bill perfectly. Easy to attach securely to the tap with two alternative sizes of connector, no leaks at the tap or the spray end, and a wide choice of spray settings from full stream to mist and many more in between, all at the turn of the nozzle. I am completely satisfied with this purchase
It comes with a bunch of nice brass tap fittings with a downsizer so it’ll fit most tap screw threads, and the end of the hose has a quick release brass fitting which works well. All with good rubber seals inside and it doesn’t leak anywhere at all. You also get a bag of three extra rubber washers which you can stack up in the tap fittings to prevent it leaking if it doesn’t quite fit.
The included gun it great and has lots of different settings to chose from by turning the end. Again this has a brass fitting with a tap on a plastic lever; so you can the turn the water flow on and off, and even reduce the pressure by turning it half way.
The material is very nice, you can just shake it and it pretty much dries instantly. Very flexible pipe and rolls up easily for storage.
Perfect for what I need. I backyard hose that extends to 100 ft that is lightweight for easy use and doesn’t kink while moving about the yard, oh and will last. I also hook mine up to my pressure washer when I wash my cars and clean the exterior of my house, garage and cement passageways. Yes, I did put this through the wringers when I first got it. I am pleased with my purchase. It replaced a hose that would constantly kink which can destroy a home pressure washer quickly or make water a big pain.
Packaging is great. I love the fact that they provide 3 extra washers. Nice touch. The look and feel of the hose is really nice. A little too luxurious, like it belongs in one of those gardens that you might see in a magazine. Debris will find their way into the mesh, yet it easy to remove by wiping with a gloved hand. The brass fittings seemed better than I would expect at this price point.
To address some of the concerns I read here:
I read that this hose shrinks back while it is under pressure at the moment the valve opens. So, I measured resting dry length, full length while under pressure, and length while under pressure with open valve. My results: 35 Ft dry (making this easy to manage), 100 ft while under pressure closed valve, 100 ft while watering. I did NOT experience any of the shrinkage that another reviewer stated. My measurements were done with a tape measure, they were not guesses or estimates.
This hose will only kink if you don’t empty the hose of its water after shutting off the water supply.
A little common sense with this hose goes a long way:
1st Time Use: fill the hose with water with the shut off valve off and allow the hose to stretch and expand. Once expanded, release the water and repeat the above process once more.
Attach the nozzle.
When fully expanded its ready.
After use, turn of the water supply to de-engergize the hose.
Drain the hose completely allowing it to shrink to original size.
Don’t drink out of it.
Don’t leave it in the direct sunlight or extreme heat for a long time.
Do not leave the hose out in extreme winter weather.
Cautiously use it around sharp edges.
I’m really happy with this product and would highly recommend it!

We are really pleased with this hose but we had an attachement part missing and we had to hunt lots of shops to find the part as not many places sell it and only sell the plastic one. We ended up having to by another hose just for the part … so not ideal but now we have the part were pleased with the hose
The reason I thought I’d give one of these expandable hoses a try was mainly because I’m fed up with leaking joints and the space ‘old style’ hose reels take up.
It doesn’t dissapoint as there are no leaks and it barely takes up any room compared to the old hose reel.
It is very odd watching the hose expand and contract but very clever. When you finish usi g it you have to purge the water out by turning the tap off and press the trigger gun or the hose will stay expanded.
The fittings are good quality and I just unscrewed the push fit connector on tap and screwed the new one straight onto the tap.
I cannot vouch for durability as yet but I would suggest not standing on the hose especially when it’s expanded or it could split.
The only downside I can see is that for using my power washer I will have to pop the old hose on as the fittings aren’t compatible but that’s infrequently.
Oh another good thing is the water pressure is better as it travels directly and not through all the coils like the regular hose.
There is a handy hanging bracket and also a storage bag.
Chinese, brand. The other reviews are all glowing so I took the risk and the product is in fact pretty good and I have no complaints whatsoever. All I’ve done so far is install and test it. If things start to go wrong, I’ll report back.
I did ask whether it’s connectors are compatible with Hoselock – answer came back yes. I can confirm that.
Whether it’s 100m long I don’t care. It’s comfortably long enough for my needs. And it compresses to a small size as you’d expect.
The brass connectors all seem good quality. No sharp edges and nicely finished.
The gun isn’t quite up to the same quality, but it does the job. It screws into one end of the hose rather than using a Hoselock-like connector. This is a concern since if it breaks can I attach a new one. Also I’m not sure I can attach a garden sprinkler. I’ll have to work that out. That’s why I knocked one star off, since it’s pretty critical.
This new hose arrived quickly and well packaged.
I used the hose for the first time today and I’m very impressed.
It comes with a hanging bracket for easy storage, an adjustable spray water gun which works perfectly, extra seals and the metal connectors are much better than plastic ones you get on other hoses.
I have been seriously impressed with this hose so far so it’s 5 stars from me.
