We bought this for my grand daughter for Christmas, she has not stopped playing with it.
A definite winne
Very sturdy. Excellent Value for money. Lots of activity, and learning aids.
Strong, colourful, interactive. My grandsons will have years of enjoyment out of this.
I bought it last year for my eldest grandson and he has used it to sit on, climb on and it’s had many things spilt on it and it still looks brand new.
I purchased this for a 1 year old girl. The size / height of this toy promotes a toddler to stand, bend and use their hands in many different ways. The many different activities built into this toy all offer different experiences for any toddler thus helping development physically and mentally. The build quality is good with nice pictorial references and paint finish. The wooden / metal construction is robust with no H&S concerns. What is refreshing is there is no plastic , electronic sounds or music , flashing lights or the need for batteries , the toddler creates the stimulation themselves. I feel this toy will offer longevity thus being able to be passed on / handed down to other offspring or sold on. The cost reflects the quality and design and it is worth every penny.
Got this as a gift for my 1 year old and he absolutely loves it. A great toy.
Great quality wood, beautiful paint work and well built. Feels very sturdy. Pretty large which is fantastic as some of the others I’ve seen are really small. Little one instantly attracted to it and I’m sure he will continue to play with it for years to come. Very happy. Worth the money.
My 1 year old son has had this toy since he was 6 months and he loves it! It has also been key to him learning to pull himself up to stand and learn to walking around holding onto it. I can not recommend this toy enough! Buy it! You won’t regret it!
Very nice activity cube for
Kids !!!! Value the money !!! Highly recommended!!!
Absolutely fab, my 8 month old loves it!
Lovely colours/ pictures and the wood is chunky and seems very sturdy.
The packaging was all cardboard, no plastic which I was very happy with.
Corners are tapered but still hard and sharp enough to have caused bruises from bumps. Also my toddler @9 months easily pulls it over and it topples – often resulting in more bumps and bruises. It needs to be made more sturdy and less likely to topple over.
Great toy , lovely colours , well made . I bought this for a 12 th old and it’s sturdy enough for him to pull up on without it toppling . Lost of interesting door, shales etc
Great toy for kids in the between stage. Not quite walking but wanting to furniture cruise everywhere. Great design. Very well built and prebuilt which is a bonus. Safe as the corners are rounded off. Overall happy
My niece absolutely loves this play table, very sturdy and looks great. Lots for little ones to play with.
We ordered this for our youngest(5 months), but our older two (5 & 3 years) have been playing with it already.
We had some other small items from this brand already and they were all very premium and solid.
This one is even better.
I had been used to seeing similar things in doctors waiting rooms to entertain kids, but they all had stickers on wooden boxes that had long since peeled off, not on this, all painted on the wood, it feels like it will last a lifetime. I wish I had bought it for our 5 year old when he was a baby, as it would have survived intact until now.
The box itself feels so sturdy, if it weren’t for the darn metal parts on the top, I could probably use it for a workout of box jumps in the evening.
I would recommend this to anyone.
Brilliant gift for my 1 year old niece. She loves it.
A very sturdy toy, lots of activities on it and very colourful.
A great product for kids that like to explore. This wooden activity cube is great, so glad to not have to buy more plastic toys. The colours used for this line of toy are great as well. They look classy in any space.
A Christmas present for the grandson – due to lockdown there has been o feedback yet.
Very sturdy, and seems to appear safe for toddlers use. Love the item, highly would recommend
Very sturdy activity cube for toddlers looks well made, time will tell .
I bought it for my grandson for christmas l too it out to see it .l am delighted with i
Lovely solid product, also the corners all over the product have been removed so perfect for my 13 month old baby
Beautiful product!! My 1year old granddaughter gravitated to it immediately. I’m hoping it will bring her hours of fun.
Excellent activity cube. Little one loves it and keeps her entertained for hours
Really impressed with this toy, it’s beautiful and so versatile with lots for my baby to do, it’s rather big though so make sure you have room for it. I would highly recommend this toy.
My 1 year old loves this activity cube. It has so many things on it to keep her busy. I was very pleased when it arrived and I noticed it had the alphabet on it because after reading reviews about this part of the toy I was a bit confused to whether it had this on or not. The only downside to this product is that parts of it are not finished off properly which is a bit disappointing considering it’s relatively expensive compared to similar products. Part of the metal wires on the one I received has chips on the paint work.
Well built, sturdy, educational, safe and our 1 yr old baby loves it. Bigger box than I expected.
Perfect entertaining my 9 month old while working from home, also helps encourage her to stand up and play with the top section.
Amazing toy. My is 6 months old and he loves it. Spend so much time playing with the doors and alphabet. The only thing that he started pulling himself up on it and the cube tips over so you need to hold it down.
A young child Activity Centre is exactly what this is. It’s not just a toy, it’s a whole compendium of playthings with educational benefits of developing co-ordination, exploration, imagination and working things out. For the curious mind of a one or two year old, this is an endless source of fun and play.
It’s fairly large, but a good size for a very young child to reach and play with. It’s made of solid wood, only nominal plastic in the stickers, and there are no batteries involved. As the product description notes there are five sides of fun here, lots of door to open, colourful animals and letters to play with, a zig-zag slide that seems pretty useless so I was surprised that it got a lot of attention from my young niece working out how to move it up and down. The zany zoo at the top gets the most attention, with lots of moving pieces.
For what is included in this, the quality solid wood construction and the amount of time that is spent playing on it, I think it’s definitely worth the price.
An excellent well built product. Keeps my granddaughter amused for hours
As much as my little one likes it, I think I’ve received a different item than described and reading reviews I see I’m not the only one. There’s no alphabet printed on the tiles, as pictures show. I wish I got the exact item I thought I was buying but still it’s a great toy and my baby spends lots of time playing with it.
This is a great toy for those little explorers. Hours of fun to be had and is robust enough to stand up to some banging. Really well built toy and would buy again for other people with small people who need entertaining.
Gave this as a present for my 1yr old nephew. He doesn’t get bored as there’s plenty to keep him occupied. It’s solid and quite weighted so not easily moved or titled by a small toddler. Very well made; all wooden, with plenty of sliding, flapping, rolling, falling, spinning parts to move. And the bonus of no batteries or electrical parts like the rest of his toys which tend to have a shorter shelf life with his constants throwing around! Would highly recommend this
Lovely item purchased for my sons first Christmas (1yr). He can pull himself up on it and play with all the opening and closing doors. Really great bit of kit and perfectly finished.
This toy was for my grand daughter, elleven month old. She love it.
I bought this for my nephews 1st birthday and he loves it! There’s so much to keep him entertained, plus it’s really sturdy so it stays in place when he pulls himself up to stand. It looks great, safe with no sharp edges, also good value in comparison to other sellers – overall very impressed
My granddaughter 10 months loved this. It is wooden, sturdy and has loads of things to do. Should last a long time.
My 2 year-old daughter absolutely loved this B Toys Zany Zoo Wooden Activity Cube. The quality is superb as it is for all of the other toys we’ve had from B Toys. It is really sturdy which means my daughter can’t pick it up and throw it across the room!
The top area is the most fascinating one for my daughter. She can spend ages moving the beads from one side to the other side as well as moving the animals in their little path. For her age, the alphabet is too advanced, but she likes the animals and being able to flip the tiles around as well as opening and closing the doors.
This is a really interactive toy that will last for a few years, so it is worth the investment. I had a quick look around and most activity cubes are between 30 and 50, so this is one of the most expensive in the range, but it does provide more interaction than others. It is also quite large so make sure you have the room for it 🙂
You get what you pay for. My little boy got this for his 1st birthday an he loves i
Beautiful and very well made My daughter who is 13 months loves it and will stand and play with it unsupported
After a month of research, I finally bought this product. It is quite sturdy and interesting. I am not sure how relevant this would be for older kids but I assume it should be ok. The reason I have taken one star down is due to finishing. When I was setting this up by removing the packaging and the tapes, a splinter went into my finger. I pulled it out and wasn’t a big deal but what if this went into my baby’s hand? When you design baby products, you need to look at finishing too in order to ensure it is safe and does not lodge splinters in their hands. Considering this is not some cheap plastic product, I would expect bette
I brought this for my grandchildren , both were One so wanted something to stimulate and not easily broken , this activity centre is fantastic, can’t rate it highly enough , children love it and it is shear quality . Not cheap but worth every penny , would recommend this again and again.
Bought for our daughter at six months old. She adores it. And it’s beautifully made and very robust. Great product.
B Toys — Zany Zoo Wooden Activity Cube:
This arrived in lots of packaging, there was packaging all around the cube as well as another box it came in.
When I removed it, I looked it over to see if I needed to do anything but the beauty of this product is that it is fully intact, no assembly required.
This cube is solid wood, extremely well made, excellent quality, the corners have all been rounded so there are no sharp or pointy bits to this.
There are various things to do/play with. The bright colours are also extremely eye catching and this has had lots of hours play.
Older ones enjoy helping little one play with this too.
Whilst this might seem expensive at 59.99, it truly is a good example of you get what you paid for. This is excellent quality and would be a perfect gift for little ones. Especially as they start to sit up and touch everything, this is perfect for them and their little hands. The cube is sturdy, well built and it has lots of entertain them. Highly recommend.
I adore this product, my 14 month old loves it and my 4 and 5 year old will even have a little play with it.
This is a stunning wooden gift set for youngsters. This is aimed at the young toddler market (I would say ages 1-3) and has plenty of activities for them to play with and explore.
The wooden cube feels really high quality as do all the accessories that are attached. I liked the fact that it’s an all in one product so no fear about anything getting lost.
Its also sturdy and there is no fear of it breaking. There are activities on here to help youngsters learn to count and identify pictures, match shapes etc. It could also help with coordination.
I’ve been hugely impressed by this toy and would say despite the high price tag it more than justifies it’s worth.
Highly recommended.
Bought this for my 1 year old niece who loves it!
This is a little bit too expensive, but my one year old loves it! He pulls himself up all the time, open a close the small doors, but still needs to get how to dos the zigzag up and down. Super stable when he is pulling himself up!
Overall the product is good and my grandson has enjoyed playing with it. It is well made with solid construction and nice attention to detail; for example, all the corners have been rounded.
There is a good variety of different activities from rollers to doors, which can be used for interaction and memory games. The height of the product nicely fits younger children to sit and play or stand and use the top section.
I would love to have given this attractive, well made and entertaining wooden play cube 5 out of 5, but unfortunately the animal alphabet surface lets it down.
Good things first: the 30cm cube is a good size for one or two children to play together. It is solid and heavy so it will not topple over, yet can be carried easily by an adult using the metal loops on the top. The corners are rounded off for safety, nothing can be detached, and it is beautifully painted in attractive non-garish colours. It will last and last whether used at home or in a small group setting, so the 60 price tag is not out of order for an item of such quality.
Using an animal theme, the “Zany Zoo” has plenty to attract crawlers and explorers. There are 4 chunky doors to open, revealing and naming the animal inside. The next side has cylinders which can be rotated to make misfit creatures or match the correct top and bottom. Next we have 3 wiggly mazes down which animals painted on wheels can whizz and wobble. On top there are 3 strong bendy metal wires for whooshing coloured beads along, and in between them 5 wooden animals can travel along the zig zag pathways.Everything works smoothly, it is great for developing hand/eye coordination, plus there are no batteries and no annoying sound effects!
However, the final side lets it down. There are 5 horizontal rods, each with 6 wooden tiles with a painted picture front and back. It is designed to form an animal alphabet, but the creatures are neither realistic nor phonically correct in their first letter sound. It takes a lot of guessing to identify some of them – is that an Aardvark or an Ant-eater? Why choose a Unicorn with initial “you” sound? How recognisable is a Narwhal to most children? X-ray fish anyone? On the product page the tiles are shown with an animal on one side and the alphabet letter on the other – but ours has the same animal back and front (with or without a coloured background). The bottom row has 4 patterned tiles to make up the 30, and my feeling is that the designers should have stuck with colours and shapes, so that children could make their own pattern sequences. My wife was an early years teacher and knows that If you want to introduce children to letter sounds it is far better to use objects familiar to them – apple, ball, cup etc – instead of trying to torture the animal theme into a misleading alphabet.
Ok, this is expensive. There is no getting around that. However, it is built to last. The quality is evident from the moment you see it in the box. Once opened, the range of activities is such that you are sure to see your child engaged for a very long time.
There are doors to open, spinning blocks, zig-zag runners for round blocks to be moved up and down, spinners and atop the block a range of beads, animal blocks to move around and balls to be moved along a series of moulded wires. The toy is simply engaging from the off – we have seen friends children enchanted too. It is just a winner.
The colour choices are great too, primary colours which just feel right. The toy is based upon animals and they are used in an educational way to be associated with letters. But aside from that the toy will grow with your child as they begin to learn that association it is just a very nice thing to see your child engaged with a toy that doesn’t just make noises or play songs. Nothing wrong with those at all and we have many, but this primarily wooden built toy feels a little old-fashioned and is all the better for it.
B toys have made something very, very good. Even the packaging has been considered. An outstanding toy for your child and one I would recommend without any hesitation at all.
The toddler activity table has lots of different moving parts, pictures and shapes so plenty to keep my 15-month old interested. He enjoys playing with it with his older sister or an adult as he enjoys being talked to about what the different pictures are and what is happening (such as “look at the funny doggy” or “can you find the bird?”). He doesn’t seem to stay and play with it very long on his own but that is more related to his personality than to the toy. It is well made and attractive to look at; being made of solid wood makes a nice change from all the plastic toys and means it has more of a classic toy feel. It seems to be very good quality and is attractive to look at. The only downside is that the top section is very ‘busy’ with the sliding beads needing a very dextrous person to get them to move through all the various archways. This top section is probably more appropriate for an older child.
This is a beautifully made wooden activity cube for toddlers. It has five areas of play :- Top – beads on coloured metal loops, wooden arches and wooden animals in three different tracks; Side 1 – Matching animals, four spinning cylinders which make the tops and bottoms of different animals; Side 2 – four animals behind four wooden doors; Side 3 – Animals in vertical “wiggle” tracks – three different speeds and sounds; Side 4 – an animal alphabet, 30 spinning tiles in all, 26 show an animal beginning with each letter of the alphabet, 4 show different patterns.
This is expensive, so could be considered an investment toy, that you’ll hopefully be able to pass down to a younger sibling or other family member. There’s a lot to keep young children interested and exploring and it’s robust enough to stand up to some rough treatment.
On the whole it’s finished off well with rounded corners and everything attached securely. However, on the one I received one of the wooden arches on top of the cube was a little rough to the touch, just not quite as good as it could be. I love the animal alphabet (be aware there are a couple of more obscure animals on there – aardvark and x-ray fish) but wish it had been letters on one side of the tile rather than just a similar picture of the same animal. On the product page the animals tiles do show the letter but the cube I received just had double-sided animals. Maybe the product page needs updating? And why if you are prepared to use aardvark for A, do we have to have unicorn for U. Umbrella bird would have been a possibility.
Overall – a couple of niggles, but this is a great toy for toddlers with lots for them to do and explore. It would make a fantastic present.
A beautifully made and engaging activity cube for babies and toddlers. It is a truly fine toy to behold, made from solid carved wood throughout and colourfully decorated. The quality is simply outstanding.
My 2 year old niece took to it like a duck to water, opening the doors, spinning the letters, and moving the pieces along the wire tracks. There is so much to do here.
Suitable from around 1-3 years, it is the kind of toy that can be passed on and on between children, nephews and nieces.
Beautifully designed, made from sturdy solid wood. This product doesn’t look cheap like most activity cubes do, it’s made from sturdy solid wood and been designed really well. I got this from my son who is 19 months old and he loves it! Each side has a different activity. My son loves the zigzag race side the most, he could sit and do the same thing for hours! The a-z animals are a really good way for toddlers to learn the alphabet and animals, it took me a while to realise it was done alphabetically and I’m an adult! The top section has a lot going on.. the only bad this about the top bit is the beads can get caught on f the ‘zany zoo’ sign making it difficult for my son to move them along the puzzle. This activity cube is very heavy, so I would suggest being around your baby/toddler whilst they play with it in case they accidentally pull it onto themselves.
B toys have become a brand favourite in our house. They toys are always exceptionally made, perfectly aimed at their audience and always bright and educational. The cube is no exception. Our toddler never tired of it. He has it in his room and in the mornings ( after departing his toddler bed) will be found playing happy as Larry rather than crying out to leave.
I’ve taken several close-up photos of this toy so you can get an idea of how well made it is. All the edges are smooth, pieces that are likely to be manipulated are varnished.
Although it may seem a little expensive, the toy represents great value for money, not just because of the quality but because it’s like several toys in one. It will assist skills in manipulating objects and matching as well as identifying animals, colours and shapes.
A beautiful toy.
Absolutely beautiful. I was WOWed by this solid wood toy. It is beautifully crafted and nicely sanded to ensure no splintering edges on the wood. The colour schemes on all faces as well as the top toys make it bright and enticing for the little ones. My 10-month-old baby has a field day each time he plays with it. Each of the sides has a different play area e.g. an animal alphabet illustration, open/closing doors with animals behind, zigzag animal paths etc. The top has more wooden animals and paths and beads on the metal which baby has so much fun spinning around and trying to eat! This is a sturdy, heavy toy, which can’t be tipped by the little ones, not even when he uses the top to help him stand! It is a pricey toy but if you’re happy to pay that much it’s definitely worth getting.
My only complaint is in the information and pictures about this toy, there are meant to be alphabet and animal illustrations on the animal alphabet blocks, so its meant to be e.g. “B beaver” with a beaver picture on the other side. Mine however just has the pictures on both sides — so is that an error on this particular one? I don’t know enough zoo animals to know what each one was and for a growing child the alphabet would have been much more beneficial.
My 1-year-old loves this and plays with it alongside her 7+-year-old sister. There is just so much to do, this is packed with fun. It is very well made, using wood instead of cheap plastic. It does keep her busy, flipping various things or slideing stuff.
This sturdy toy is excellent quality. First of all, it is heavy enough that young toddlers can pull themselves up on it, without it tipping, which is nice. All of the sides and edges are smoothed and curved, with no hard corners. Yes, your baby/toddler could fall on it, but at least the bevelled edges should stop serious damage.
The sides all have different activities. There are rotating mix and match animals — oddly, on the one we received, the tops can turn without moving the bottom half of the animals, but, spin the bottoms and the tops move too Still, good fun, and you can either match the animals, or create crazy ones. Then there are rotating animal squares, which have the alphabet listed; both upper and lower case. Another side has doors that you can open to reveal animals, and their names. This is, by far, my grand-niece’s favourite part of the toy and she delights in opening and closing these. The last side has animals, three in all, which you can twist to the top and then zig-zag down again.
The top has the usual bead mazes, along with some animals that you can move on a track. They can go along, under the bridge and this is also good fun. Rhino’s, ducks and a turtle, all like to go for a walk. Overall, good quality, good fun and lots to do. Plus, no batteries, or noises, which will drive you crazy. What’s not to like?
This B Toys “Zany Zoo” arrived well packaged within several outer boxes and in immaculate condition. It comes fully assembled, just as you see it in the pictures. Nothing to screw or clip together, it’s ready to go. It’s a solid, heavy wooden toy with a good quality finish. The main cube section is about 12″ square, and the loop the loop game on the top adds another 6″ to the height, so it’s a good size. The corners around the top of the cube have also been rounded off, so there’s no sharp edges. Our Bertie is 14 months and he absolutely loves it. He can stand up and play with the top, or sit down and fiddle with the sides. Everything is big and bright and thoroughly engaging. It’s a joy to see him play with it.
The “Zany Zoo” archway on the top acts as a pretty good handle to pick the whole toy up and move it about with, which I thought was a good design choice. Each of the four sides and the top is busy with things to do. I thought the little wooden animals on the top were going to be loose, but they’re not. They are attached to the cube and move about in slots, so there’s absolutely no small parts or pieces to lose. The top also has the balls that you can move along the metal loop the loops, through the archway and tree. Side 1 has wooden cylinders that can be spun round to make, mix and match animals. Side 2 has flip flap wooden doors with animals hidden behind them. Side 3 has an A to Z of spinning animal tiles. Side 4 has a sort of zig-zag race game with large wooden knobs that click-clack from top to bottom. If there is one criticism I could make, it’s that not all of the learning potential of the toy has been 100% capitalised. It would be nice to see a numbers game in there, and I would have liked to have seen the letters on the reverse of the animals on the A to Z tile game. Yes you can use the loopy loops and the balls on the top to play numbers games, and you can say the letters out loud, but it’s nice to familiarise children with what numbers and letters actually look like. Still, if you’re looking for a big well made, traditional wooden toy that can be enjoyed by children of quite a broad age rage (it states 1-3 on the packaging but our 6 year old was very excited when he saw it) I don’t think this will disappoint.
After unboxing this and removing all the cardboard packaging, I passed this to our toddler and I started showing her how the different parts moved. I was disappointed to note that one side didn’t move freely at all, I realised my mistake – the cube is only 5 sides and underneath was more packaging attached to the back of what I thought was faulty parts.
This is really quite an impressive cube with LOTS of different things to interest babies and toddlers (5 year old also likes it!!) and it’s really colourful too. Barely any space is not covered with a toy, activity, or picture.
A great and well-made toy. Our daughter loves it.
Each of the sides is very interesting. Toy worth its price.
A well made and sturdy wooden young child’s animal inspired activity cube. Height is around a coffee table so children can easily play with it sitting on the ground. Features five games (one per side): Zany zoo which is a coordination activity designed to improve coordination by allowing the child to feed beads along a set of curved sets wires, animal spinners amongst others. Very engaging and safe to use featuring no parts which can be detached and accidentally swallowed, requires no batteries. Overall good old fashioned interactive and engaging fun.
This is a really great baby. It’s wooden and brightly coloured with so many different things to do. It can easily entertain more than one child at a time too. The activities are great and some are maybe more than a 1 year old can fully grasp so I’m hoping it will still entertain as my niece develops and grows too. Lovely old school toy built to last.
You receive a large wooden activity cube, which is fully assembled no screw drivers required.
First impression are the build quality, its excellent, very well put together, and strong a sturdy.
There are lots of things for the little one to enjoy, the top has the loops where you feed a ball through one end to the other, the other sides have doors to open which reveal animals, there are spinners, where you can make your own daft animal, the alphabet is on another side which display more animal beginning with the alphabet letter, some are not the most common, but its fun.
the top edges have been smoothed so there are no corners, just in case there is a head bang.
This is a great toy, very tactile, teaching while having fun.
This activity centre is well and substantially made, mostly from wood, and cleverly designed. The pictures and colours are all very attractive.
There are lots of different things to look at, think about and talk about, and a whole range of motor skills to be acquired and practiced (turning, spinning, opening, closing, wiggling and more).
When claims such as ‘Heirloom quality meant to be passed on from one generation to the next’ are made, I become a harsh judge. Are they getting carried away; claiming so much? In this case, I think no. This is built to last and well worth keeping long-term. It will always be a delight to rediscover when visiting Granny, or whatever.
Which brings me to age range. An enclosed leaflet suggests 1 to 3 years. The Amazon description says ’12 months and up’. That’s more like it; some at least of the actions will still interest a child who has started school, especially if there is a younger child to help play with it. And, as I say, ‘always a delight to rediscover when visiting Granny’ — at any age!
After unboxing, I thought for a few moments that I was going to need a screwdriver to remove some cardboard packing from inside the cube. Fortunately, I discovered in time that the cube has an open base. So no tools required!
B Toys’ products are very good quality and a little more thought goes into their design than other market rivals.
The only downside of this cube is the fact that the alphabet side doesn’t have the actual letters of the alphabet printed on it – merely pictures of animals representing the letters. I would have liked the letters on the reverse side .
The product is not perfect in its finish. It seems imperfect in an ‘eco-friendly’ way -ie the inks are not dazzlingly bright and there is some discolouration in some of the wooden shapes. This would be fine if it were eco-friendly, but there is no claim to this on the product description. The packaging seems plastic-free, which is a big bonus.
Possibly the best child’s toy ever made.
My wife’s Dad used to make wooden toys for her when she was a child. She glowed at the sight of this, which I ordered for my granddaughter. Every surface – every inch – of this activity centre is tactile, colourful and contains a little challenge for small babies and little children. The balls and small wooden animals will catch your child’s eye. Everything looks totally safe, as you would hope for.
April is approaching 6 months old and took to playing with this immediately. First with the balls on top, then with the little panels on the side. She was fascinated by it. It is very solid, stable and of a sufficient weight not to move. It is recommended for one year plus, but with Mum’s supervision, this will keep April amused and entertained for hours.
Possibly the best child’s toy ever made.
When visiting various children’s groups one the most popular toys is always those cubes that sit proudly in the middle, they are covered in fun activities that younger toddlers in particular love. B Toys’ ‘Zany Zoo Activity Cube’ is not just another one of these, is it a toy cube of the highest order.
B Toys have a certain style about them using bold colours and cool imagery to stand out from the crowd. This cube follows that trend as it looks great. Made from treated wood it has a vibrancy about it, but is well varnished so will last being used. It is really nice to see a toy made from wood, it feels nicer sitting in the middle of the room than yet another piece of plastic. The top has some bead activities whilst the sides have doors to open, characters to turn and even a race between various animals. The entire thing is incredibly tactile and will help toddlers to develop their hand eye coordination.
The size of this B Toy cube is quite big, so it does feel more natural in a waiting room or toddler group, but if you have a good size nursery it will give the room a nice splash of colour. It will very likely be the toy that any children coming to visit will gravitate to first as it is so eye catching.
Brilliant activity center, had since Christmas and has kept my 1 year old entertained. He has played and interactive with it every day. He loves the beads. Sturdy item and no hard edges.
Looked for a long time before deciding on this one. Very pleased with this item and hopefully have lots more enjoyed for a long time too come.
Well made, a firm favourite with my grandson Highly recommended
This cube is beautiful. Baby took to it straight away. The detail is amazing and it seems like it will last forever.
I purchased this toy because we had previously bought our one year old one the baby Einstein activity table. He didn’t like the plastic one so much and just stares at it really. The electronic ones are all buttons and noise but nothing to fiddle with or move. He’s a child that likes to open and close things and get his hands on things he can move around. He will absolutely love this! Well packaged and 100% quality. The toy is heavy so it won’t be tipped over easily as the plastic light and sound ones do. This is just fantastic for curious babies or babies who are easily bored. Highly recommended 🙂 worth every penny.
So many different ways for kids to have fun.
All very good for hands skills.
Good size too my twins share it without problem
Action packed , too many things to explore for babies. Some of the words are too complicated for such small babies though
Great product-lovely colours, well made, my 10 month old plays very happily with it!
It’s really nice but the top seems a it too busy and messy. Would be much better with fewer moving animals on the top
Beautifully made with so much to keep the little one entertained. Would definitely recommend!
Bought for A&E waiting room very sturdy and the kids love it. Would definitely recommend.
What a gorgeous toy for my little girl! Wooden, beautifully painted and colourful – i think she’ll be playing with this for years to come.
Amazing in every way! Solid build and slanted edges. My kid loves it.
Just a quality product, like this brand i have to say and have purchased other items with them. Great deals on amazon as compared to high street. 1 year old very happy.
Lovely, colorful activity cube with interesting features.solid wood.little pricey but more exciting than other cubes I have see
Absolutely beautiful product! I can’t wait to give this to my nephew at Christmas. Great quality, delivered quickly and well packaged.
My baby loves it, can play a wee while but definitely recommend to every mum for the baby.
Perfect toy for my 2yr old & very prompt delivery too.
We were looking at getting a cheaper activity cube for our daughter but they didnt look as nice as the B Zany Zoo and didnt have as much on to do, I am so glad we decided to spend the extra money on this as it is so worth it, it came well packaged, the attention to detail is absolutely beautiful, there are so many things for my daughter to play with, she loves opening the doors to reveal the animals, there are the animals which you can spin and make into other animals (think this is mummys favorite bit hee hee) i love the fact there are so many lovely animals for her to learn along with the alphabet, the animals on the top of the cube glide easily around the top too, also the cube has the edges cut so they are not sharp which is fab, if you want a decent well made fun activity cube then i would highly recommened this =D
Best toy I’ve ever bought! I bought this for my daughter 2.5 years ago and she still plays with it regularly. Her 8 month old baby sister loves it too now! Very well made, great quality materials and very sturdy construction.
Its beautiful, sturdy, interesting. Its definitely the prettiest toy we have in our living room 🙂 The plastic toys just look out of place.. but this could easy be a decoration 😀 ..
Its smooth, colourful.. very happy with i
I am very impressed by this activity cube, i shopped around a lot to finally find one as appealing as this, it has a lot more work put into it then any others I’ve seen and i discovered that its an award winning toddlers toy, its so colourful and bright with so many twisty turney bits how could any toddler refuse 🙂 its understandable as it looks fantastic. I would defiantly suggest this for anyone with a one year old as this will be an investment in a lot of ways, i would defiantly say its worth spending the extra money on this one, a lot of the cheaper ones have bad reviews, i can say this activity cube is absolutely worth every penny, and its the perfect toy for a toddlers development, you get lots of toys in one and it doesn’t cause a great mess and looks lovely in my front room. I will let you know that you can buy straight from b zanny zoo for five pounds cheaper via there website, and its worth looking at there other toys, fantastic range. Buy it, its worth it so much nicer then any ive seen.
I can’t wait to my little girl opens this on Christmas morning! I think I’m more excited to play with it than she will be! Beautiful toy from a fantastic range!
Bought for twin grandchildren’s 1st birthday. They love it. Strong & sturdy enough for them both to stand up again & lots for them to play with. Well made. Still in perfect condition.
We spent some time looking around for a play cube for our one year old, and finally settled on this one. It is a huge hit, with lots of different things he can use, so it takes up a lot of its time.
It is well made, looks good, and includes a narwhal in the list of animals. What more could you want?
