Replaced a more expensive camera with this one when the expensive one broke. Quality is fine and battery good, does the job for a quarter of the price of our expensive one!
easy to use, good signal. It’s basic but so far has done the job fine for us if you are just looking for a simple can and tablet to watch it off. The soothing music hasn’t been very useful but it pics up any cries really well.
This was recommended to us by a friend. It has all the key features we needed at a very reasonable price and we’ve been pleased with it. The only downside is despite supporting additional cameras I can’t find anywhere where I can buy one!
Good in use for that money good quality of image very good motion on sound but doesn’t have motion on moves. nice music sound which really helps my baby for sleep.
It’s overall a good device. The only negative atm I noticed is the tilting of the camera is not great. For where I position it I need it to tilt lower down but it doesn’t. The previous cheap baby monitor I had that served us 5 years tilted much better.
Very clear image, the camera is able to pan and tilt and it comes with fixings so you can secure it to a wall if needed. Just as good as the more expensive baby monitors for a fraction of the price

I love this baby monitor. I didn’t want one that worked on wifi so this is perfect.
The night vision is super and the monitor is brilliant. Battery life is really great but usually leave it plugged in. Camera must always be plugged in.
This has been dropped several times and still keeps working.

I had the Bt baby monitor for years and was working fine till my now toddler decided to throw it on the floor and mess up the charging ports. Chargers snapped and had to stand for ages to make it charge.
Needing a new one wasn’t sure on which one to purchase. After getting this I have to say this one is better than our last! It’s amazing! Picture quality is crisp, large screen, no lag as it’s not connected to Wi-Fi. Night and day mode are great, you can see everything very well!! No fuzzy details. Two way voice control is perfect also don’t think my daughter can mess up the ports on this one, as they are round plug ins and looks solid!

I’ve used a few different monitors for my babies and this one is by far the best. It has all the functions I need (showing room temp is so helpful) but keeps a simple and easy to use design. Which is exactly what I need when I’m sleep deprived and have my hands full!

Range isn’t amazing but for the price it works well
Typically baby monitors are for babies, however as my grandpas health has deteriorated he requires 24’7 supervision. This monitor allows us to keep an eye on him so we can ensure he is safe and attend to him whenever required (more so at nighttime).
Good points as follows:
– The day and night picture quality is fantastic, being colour in daylight and black/white when the room is pitch black.
– Nice big screen, unlike like some other main brand models where the screen is small.
– The sound is also fantastic, we can even hear my grandpa breathing, noise sensitivity can be adjusted to your preference.
– You can communicate to the other end of the camera should you need to.
– You can adjust the volume and brightness of the screen.
– Range is fantastic, we have been able to pop to the sun lounge outside and it still has a strong signal.
– Battery is long lasting. We are typically getting approximately 2-3 evenings before it’s on the last tab, although it can still be used whilst on charge.
– You can have the video on all the time or have the screen off with the sound on and if needed, press a button on the right hand side and the screen will pop on.
– You can add additional cameras if required (although I haven’t been able to find these on Amazon, I would like to purchase another camera)
– Temperature of the room is noted
– Plays lullabies on the camera side if required
– Feeding timer if required
– You can change the language if needed
I have nothing bad to say about this monitor, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone whether for babies or caring for someone like we are. I haven’t posted a picture of screen in action for the privacy of my grandpa, however I hope the above helps if you are deciding whether or not to buy this monito
The image quality and night vision is great – I can clearly see her and it has a basic zoom feature.
The screen automatically switches off, which saves battery and prevents a constant noise/image showing when there isn’t any noise/movement. It switches on automatically when movement or sound detected. First night this meant a restless sleep as I was constantly checking to make sure it still had signal and was working, but after a few days of use I’m come to trust it.
Sound is good – better than others I’ve tried, so I’m not worried about not hearing her.
Charges pretty quickly and battery for ‘parent’ monitor easily lasts the night.
It’s one way only, so no talk back, but that is fine for my needs.
Settings allow you to set an alarm and to change Vox level (low if you don’t care about small noises, or high if you want to be alerted to pretty much everything).

We needed to change our monitor as we moved and our old one didn’t work in the new place, range wise. We moved to a long (extended) Victorian terrace, with high ceilings, baby’s room is first floor at the front of the house, our one is opposite, right at the back. No issue whatsoever with signal whether upstairs or downstairs, the signal is picked up even in the kitchen (also right at the back, but downstairs).
Sound quality is great, you can put it in sleep mode (screen off), only drawback is that in the sleep mode, the sound is still on. Our toddler snores a lot so we have to put it on the lowest setting.
It’s been picked up on other comments but it’s really zoomed in so we’ve had to put right up the ceiling.
The talk back function works well, sound is clear. We’ve not used any of the other functions (tbh we got it for its range). Would recommend.

Now when the little one is down, we can keep an eye on her whilst we tidy up the mess she has made during the day! She is upstairs in her bedroom and we will be downstairs at the opposite side of the house with no connection problems.
We even tested to see how far it could go. We managed to go out to the back garden and it still had good signal.
It is decent picture quality. Not the best, but very adequate.
The camera section requires mains power but the Battery life on the monitor is alright.
You get 2 plugs with this. One for the camera and one as the charger for the monitor. Though both are exact same.
We found that if going away anywhere. Instead of taking both. We would only take one. And make sure to charge the monitor before needing to use the camera.
The camera can move and zoom which is great. Has the option for more than 1 camera. We have only 1 so not sure about how that function works.
So happy with this purchase!!! The camera can easily be hung off the bassinet or crib, long power life, 2 way sound is great. Only downfall I find is it does take for ever to charge so I’ve been leaving it to charge over night for a full battery in the morning 🙂 all in all great product!!!
Image quality is not great but it’s perfect for what we needed. Now we can be in another room and still make sure our baby is sleeping.

This monitor is a great bit of kit, and does its job very well. The screen is large and clear, the picture quality is good (you can see a chest rise and fall a metre away from the camera, and tell the difference between open and closed eyes at a couple of metres). The night vision mode surprised me with how clear the picture is – the only compromise is a low frame rate.
It’s very easy to set up because it’s pre-paired so you just plug to camera in to the mains and switch on the monitor.
The sound quality isn’t amazing but you can definitely hear what’s going on – the only thing it doesn’t deal with is background noise like fans running which tends to overwhelm anything else.
The pivoting camera stand is handy but its range of motion is a bit limited and it’s very lightweight so can be tricky to set up if you want it pointing eg. straight downward from a shelf. The supplied power cable is generously long so I had no problems positioning the camera where I needed to.
The monitor interface is mostly simple to use but has a couple of odd quirks. The camera’s field of view is roughly square but the screen is a wide rectangle, meaning the top and bottom are cut off and there’s no way to pan to them unless you zoom in. Panning the view is done with the same directional buttons that also change the sound volume and screen brightness so these can’t be changed when zoomed in – it’s a small niggle but with some better software it needn’t happen at all.
Overall I’m very happy with the purchase and would recommend this to any parents, there’s just a couple of areas where small improvement would make it perfect.

The baby monitor is good. Love that you can adjust the sensitivity so only hear the cry’s not the new born sleepy noises. Its battery lasts a few days. The camera is good, even at night time.
It’s quite zoomed in so not great for the bassinet as theres no where to put it far enough away so we have to line it up perfectly and can only see his face. The thermometer is also very incorrect!
Overall though it’s suits our needs and we are happy!
Der Bildschirm ist sehr gro und man kann sein Kind im hellen und dunklen sehr gut erkennen. Auch der VOX-Modus luft einwandfrei – allerdings auf der empfindlichsten Stufe (aber das strt und nicht). Den Ton finde ich auch auf der kleinsten Stufe Recht laut und manchmal etwas blechern. Die Reichweite ist fr uns sehr gut (berall im Haus und auf dem Grundstck klappt es).
Wir haben derzeit noch ein Philips Avent im Einsatz, welches auch sehr gut luft. Allerdings hat dieses keine Mglichkeit eine weitere Kamera hinzuzufgen. Das ist bei dem Gert von Hello Baby gegeben. Probiert haben wir das aber nicht, da wir nun je Kind ein Babyphone im Einsatz haben.
Im Gesamten bin ich sehr zufrieden. Wrde es in jedem Fall nochmal kaufen.
Easy to connect. My mom doesn’t understand english and technically stuffs but it was really easy even for her to use. The picture quality is good. It is not great but u aren’t watching a netflix series so it does it’s work. The two way communication is good as well and the night mode is really clear.

All in all, I’d definitely recommend this to anyone, so long as they can put up with a bit of an annoyance with the WiFi.
We got this baby monitor for our first child. It’s perfect as does exactly what wr need. The screen is a perfect size and camera has long enough wire to put anywhere best for the cot. The canera and screen have a charging wirr each which helps as they are still the same port but just helpful to have a spare. The nighy vision is helpful. The overal picture quality could be clearer as the movement sometimes lags a little biy. Its good it has lighys for the noise levels and microphone function is great and practical.
Purchased for a specific reason to monitor an elderly person at night. Invaluable needed to make sure the person was OK during the night as they had a tendency to get up and possibly fall. With the aid of this it allowed remote observation without having possibly disturbed them to peep in to see if they are all right. So gave piece of mind. Picture quality good , even at low light levels at night. I dare say you might be able to buy cheaper but I wanted to make sure this worked and could monitor at various locations through house as it can be taken downstairs with the camera remaining up stairs. Although the house isn’t big the walls are stone walls and some might be 12inches thick but it still worked brilliantly.
Good camera for the price, originally had the HB32 smaller version which my husband stood on so we had to get this. Only reason we got this and not the same one again was that there was an offer on.
Picture quality seems to be worse than the HB32, but I suspect it’s the same quality but has to be “blown up” to fit the screen size resulting in a grainy image. It does seem more zoomed in too, this is 1.5m off the ground looking down into a cot bed (70x140cm) and you only see a 3rd which is a shame, wish it was a wider lense.
Battery life is decent, we leave it on all night plugged in and he has 2 naps in the day and put him to bed around 7pm, we never have to charge its inbetween. Temperature seems a little out so don’t rely on it, the HB32 was more accurate.
If it wasn’t 10 cheaper with the offer I would have preferred to just have the same one as we broke but that being said 60 you can’t complain, it’s loud, you can see baby and that’s what we were looking for.
No need for Internet, just Bluetooth connection. We take it on holidays with us it’s so easy to transport and set up. Night vision is really good as well. I definitely recommend!
Bought to keep an eye on my father in law, who is terminally ill. It is perfect, we can here him if he calls, and make sure he’s ok in bed.
This monitor is perfect as in inexpensive option, great for travelling and night vision is a 9/10. If you want fancy bells and whistles this is not the monitor for you. If you want consistency without wifi and a good picture on a budget, grab this model.

As others have said this is very comparable with the Motorola V50 that I used to own until my son decided to break the leg of the monitor and I could not stand it like that and I donate. Still I did not want to pay 300$ again so I went for this one based on my friends recommandation. I just love it! Quality of talk back sound is impecable, quality of nightime image is A+(Motorola one is slightly better but not a big difference). I don’t care about the songs and temperature of the room or vox wakeup cause I always keep it on during the night and the light does not bother me. Overall it’s a great product that i’ve been using for the past 2 months with no problem.Price wise it’s the best choice out there.

This is a decent camera for the price point. We had to replace our old one which always had to be plugged in due to battery issues.
– Battery life on this is good. It can last pretty much the entire day without being plugged in.
– Night vision is pretty bad.
– We had to place the camera pretty high to get the entire crib.
– Hate that we can’t find a second camera and another plug to have more than one charging station if we wanted.
Overall it’s a decent unit.
Largest gripe is that the camera is SUPER close up, and monitor cord limits where/how you can set it up. Selecting variety of lullabies is very nice feature, but can’t adjust volume that it can be played at. The monitor screen itself is very nice and well thought out, even a little kickstand to set on a bedside table. Altogether, very good value for the price point, but far from the best quality product on the market.
The only thing I can say that isn’t great about this is that the night vision is a tiny bit grainy( obviously though cause it’s pitch black but can see baby perfectly well enough) the temperature gauge is off by about 2 and the image is a little zoomed in. It’s perfectly fine if you have it on the wall or use a holder for the camera we currently have it hooked over the top of my baby’s headboard and can see him just fine- I’m sure it will look even better when we lower his bed.
I’m mega happy with this and would easily recommend to anyone.
This product has so many different features such as two way talking, sounds, temperature. The video quality is good. It’s easy to set up and perfect for taking on holidays and to the grandparents.
Nice big screen. Easy set up. A lot of white noise if volume is above 1 however, but overall a good buy. Would recommend.
I have only used this product once so far and it was great. I could see my baby grandson clearly and could hear his every baby noise too.
Very acceptable product and pricing. Only issue is that the protective film on the screen does not peel off when you pull the little tab that is sup^posed to remove the film. For a moment I thought the writing was directly on the screen burt no it is the protective film that is hard to take off just be carefull and peel off a corner with your finger nail if the film doesn’t come off by puling the corner tab. Greta camear overall so the film is not an issue as long as you know it comes off…
Update: i was able to get in touch with Hello Baby in China and they are sending a replacement. They were pretty nice!

I only been using this baby monitor for 3 months and it’s already broken. The battery doesn’t charge even if it spends all day charging. It also closes down when my baby is sleeping at night… and I need to wake up to open it again. I haven’t been able to find a contact information for the costumer service which is very odd, as the company doesn’t seem to exist online.
This monitor is great, the screen is a great size, it is nice and clear and it also has a nice sound quality. It has a great battery life and also the range is great.
I also love the fact that you can have up to four cameras connect to this monitor.
For the price it is an amazing monitor. I would not even look at any other brand.
I would definitely recommend this product. The picture is clear and I love that it shows the temperature. One thing I dislike is that the camera does have a movement option but overall this is a great camera and I would definitely recommend purchasing it.
The screen is super clear even in the dark I can see clearly when my baby is moving or when her eyes are open and there are no connection problems. It took 1 minute to set up and arrived with battery and is already helping us so much as we know when we leave her to resettle or when she needs us.
The sound is very clear and it so helpful being able to see the temperature too. For the price, this product is a must have!!! I wish we had bought it sooner!

10 kids and I haven’t owned a video monitor before now but I am now wishing I had sooner! I love this monitor!! It’s easy to use and the parent unit is so light and portable so easy to move around the house and the battery life is fantastic. I love that it has the sound and video and the temperature too. When we first set it up, the older kids couldn’t help but play around with it and it’s kid safe/friendly. It did take a bit of fiddling to get it in the right position, and maybe a slightly wider/bigger view in the camera would help, but once it’s in place it’s great. I love that I can take the parent unit to wherever I am and I can check in on my baby without having to sneak into his room and do the commando crawl out hoping to not be seen because I’ve woken him up. It’s great for peace of mind, although I must admit, when I first set it up I probably spent too much time watching him sleep. Lol!
Overall, I absolutely love this HelloBaby Monitor and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a video and sound monitoring device for your baby or young child.

This is the best monitor we’ve had, and we’ve had 3 including the expensive Angelcare that broke after a year. The picture quality is great, the camera is great and the battery power is very long-lasting. Wish we would have found it sooner!
I am terrible with technology but this baby monitor setup is extremely simple just like plug and play. The Parent Unit is powered by rechargeable battery which gives you full mobility in the house.
I love the two-way talk back intercom function to comfort the babies. This video baby monitor can also play 8 soothing lullaby songs.
I use this as a spare one. Works well, cam is light and compact, monitor screen is bigger than most, great video quality including in the dark, the option to turn screen off and just having the sound warning lights without turning whole device off is very handy and saves battery.
I bought this monitor so the nurses at her nursing home could keep a eye on her at all times, as she is blind and now suffering from dementure.

The nursing home had to tag the monitor before it could be used, so it’s only been in use for a couple of days.
It’s magic.
I opted to turn VOX off as i like to see him all the time, so i drain the battery. Since it’s a bigger screen, it’s so much easier to carry and see. But bigger screen means quicker battery drainage. Don’t get me wrong…It’s not that quick because again, i get at least a whole day with it on and he naps about 4x a day for 2 hours straight. I would just turn the screen off when he’s awake and i’m playing with him. But when he’s in his crib, the screen is on.
Another option is the temperature display. Which is good because i’m always worried my baby is cold. However, i need to change the placement so that my camera isn’t by a window that the sun can shine on and affect the temperature reading. So if you can see in the pictures, the temperatures vary. LOL.
I also like that there’s a 2 way audio talk. So when my baby wakes up from his nap and is crying looking for someone…i am able to talk to calm him down while i go get him. Great sound for such a small speaker.
There’s also a lullaby feature, but i haven’t used it yet…and i don’t think i will use it, as the baby’s room has a bluetooth speaker that plays lullabies from my spotify playlist. But if baby’s room doesn’t have it, that would be a good option to use.
Although it runs on 2.4ghz, i don’t lose signal with the base camera nor does it interrupt other signals in the house. I always have full bar of signal.
I can’t say anything negative about this item at all. i gave 4 stars for battery life because i am hoping they figure out a way to get at least 2 days worth without having to charge the monitor. But, again, the picture quality, size, sound… and all options makes up for it. I don’t mind having to charge it.
I highly recommend this product. We got it on sale so it was such a bonus! I’m happy to be giving this honest review to parents that is having 2nd thoughts in purchasing this. It’s also a great gift for a baby shower, or for Christmas, new baby, etc. You won’t be disappointed. I promise.
Great baby monitor especially for the price. Only slight downside is the camera lense is too zoomed in. Almost need the camera on the other side of the room to see whole cot.
Picture quality is great (day and night) as is the battery life. VOX feature is handy and helps with battery life.
Very happy and would definitely recommend. Works well, cam is light and compact, monitor screen is bigger than most, great video quality including in the dark, the option to turn screen off and just having the sound warning lights without turning hole device off is very handy and saves battery.

This is the second baby monitor we’ve bought from this seller and we’ve been very happy with both purchases. This one has a bigger screen than the last and the temperature gauge seems to be more accurate too. The clarity of image and sound is excellent. Would definitely recommend.
I bought this monitor as a second for my older child, and I wish I had found this before purchasing my $300 imported German monitor. The screen is great, large but not too bulky. The build quality is great, in fact it’s better than my more expensive import. The VOX works great, the LED indicator works really well too but by far the beat feature is the battery. Check reviews of other devices and you’ll see battery life is one of the big issues. This thing runs a very long time, especially on standby VOX. I’ve only had it for a short time so can’t say how it will go in the long run, but it already lasts 4x longer than my other unit did when I first bought it. There’s a bit of strafe in the nighttime image but not really an issue. It has temperature warning and reading, adjustable brightness and volume. It comes with AU plug also, which was another win, considering my other unit has to use adapters. I’ll be buying another when my current expensive import packs it in.
So far so good! The screen is nice and clear, and we appreciate the larger screen size compared to other options. VOX works well, as does the infrared night vision. The screen’s battery life has been more than adequate for how we use it. Doesn’t interfere with our WiFi, despite being between us and the router most of the time. The microphone and speakers work well, and the two-way communication works as you would expect it to.
The only downside I can think of is that the field-of-view on the camera is quite narrow – which is fine if you want a nice close-up of baby’s face while they’re sleeping, but not so good if you want a wider view of the crib, if, say, they roll around a bit. Just means you need to mount the camera a bit further away. Perhaps one of those stick-on cell phone lens kits with a fish-eye lens might solve this as well. Also, while there is a timer/alarm to remind you to feed, there is no integrated clock that we’ve found – which is minor, but worth noting if this is a wanted feature.
Overall, glad we found it!
I loved the whole thing the only fault and the only reason U lost a star is cause U have to keep the camera plugged in at all times unless I’m wrong but can’t find a button anywhere and I wasn’t aware of that I have a bubs who like s to pull cords lol but hey it’s awsome it has a huge screen great battery life so far and pretty good pic depending were and how far the camera is but that’s like all cameras it’s basically a 4 and half star item we love it thanks so much Hello Baby and Amazo
