It’s good set but don’t really like the scent not for me
TLDR: If you are new to beards or dont want to spend much on the whole package pick this up.
I purchased this as a first time beard grower! It really does have everything at quite a decent price to be fair and i felt that the oil smelt really nice (My gf loves it!) the scissors are really sharp and helpful for moustache cutting and we even used them on my dog lol
The comb is ok i didnt use that so much tbh and the other products such as moustache wax i didnt really use that much. The Beard wash was brilliant it actually made my beard a bit softer too so i am pleased overall.

I couldn’t describe the balm and wax as scented , far from it. I would say that I now don’t have a beard that is out of order. Hair poking out at all angles is now a thing of the past. The wax is a blessing but next time I will try to find a strong hold wax. The one supplied is a medium hold. Overall I am well pleased. It definitely is a good gift for a bearded man.To be all inclusive I would add woman to the last line.
I paid 18 for this kit, and it was money well spent. The balm and wax provided worked nicely and, to my surprise, the scissors were decent.

Reason I brought this was mainly to get the scissors and the brush as my other one is getting a bit worn and soft. Not used much of the other product inside the box except the beard oil, which actually smells nice and leaves it feeling good. Would make a good gift for someone just starting their beard journey, or someone like myself who needed to replace a few tools. The shaving guide isn’t very good, I tried it and it wasn’t as good as my other one, though I find they are awkward to use, difficult to line up and hard to shave down the line with an open razor. Could be me using it wrong though. I feel like I got great value out of it for the price.

As a first time beard grower (at 64) I thought I’d set myself up with a kit that had everything to start out in the right direction. There are quite a few of these types of kit on Amazon and they all appear to be fairly similar. I went for this one because it was at a special price and also had beard wax as an additional item. At the price point I wasn’t expecting a great deal, however on arrival I was pleasantly surprised. The kit all looked to be of good quality and although I haven’t any experience of what to compare the individual products to I found them to be what I should expect. I did quite a bit of homework beforehand trying to find out what to look for in beard products and I would say that for the most part items in the kit fit the bill. The only product that has been a bit of a disappointment up to now is the beard wax. It is really hard. It’s more like candle wax. It just doesn’t seem to soften up in your palm so you can apply it. I’ve even put the tin on a radiator for a minute or two to try and soften it up a bit but without much success. I’ll keep persevering with it though. I also wouldn’t get too excited about the e-book. Once you’ve downloaded it will take you about a minute to read. These are the only negative points I would mention and this is why I’ve gone for a four star review rather than the full five. On other reviews some people seem disappointed with the size of the kit. I’m not sure what size of kit they were expecting but I found the items to be of comparable size to what they should be if you were to buy them all individually. It is after all more or less a trial kit. You have an oil, a balm, a shampoo and a wax so you can try them all and decide which ones are most suitable for your requirements. There is just a slight citrus smell to these which suits me fine. The scissors work well and the brush I find particularly good and gets the most use of anything. My beard as yet isn’t really long enough to use the comb on but it seems good quality. The beard shaping guide is a nice addition but I’m not sure how much I’ll use it. That may also have been better made in clear plastic so you can see through it. On the whole I’m really happy with this purchase and would recommend it as a good beginners start up kit.

Excellent product. As a newbie to beard grooming I wanted something easy to use, this product is an ideal grooming kit. There is a little too much waste packaging for my liking but the products themselves are fantastic.

Everything else felt like a nice added extra. Oil and balm smell fine, nothing too exciting but certainly not unpleasant. The comb is fairly useless on anything but a long beard. The carry bag is fine though nothing to show off.
Overall, okay and would make a nice gift, but don’t expect anything life changing in this bundle.

Everything came packaged and is definitely gift able. But it came with merry Christmas keyrings and baubles to put in your beard. So I’m guessing it’s just old stock they’re selling unless they’re excited about Xmas.

I received an after sales Email explaining about how the natural products may have reacted to the hot weather we have been having and how the sent on the boar bristle brush will fade in the open air.
This info also came with a link to download a Ebook regarding Beard and Moustache management which was appreciated, all of this extra info will be printed off laminated and made into a hard copy booklet, this will then be put in with beard kit when i wrap it up for my son.

I can’t detect any real scent coming from the balm, oil or soap, which is fine, not everyone wants heavily perfumed products on their facial hair.
For the price this is a brilliant 1st beard kit. With everything you need to get started.
I bought this about a week ago and after only two days my beard looked and felt so much better, my skin wasn’t as dry and my beard was finally straight and tidy. It was also neatly packaged with a small travel bag inside. And included an email from the seller with an ebook on how to maintain my bread. I would highly recommend.
