One can fit different shaped plugs around the product. In addition, the surge item is reassuring . Charging via USB is also very helpful .
These are great, very well built and offer up plenty of 3-pin and USB sockets. The placement of the plug sockets is great too for those larger adapter plugs. Highly recommended.

Good solid & weighty bit of kit, it’s not cheap & it doesn’t look it. All the capacity I needed in a neat compact box.
Do not let the price put you off, this is a great product, bought for out motorhome which has limited sockets when hooked up to electric pitch.
Practically a cube so compact and takes up little room, non-slip feet so stable when driving, and more sockets and USB ports than we’ll need, material and mains cable all robust and gives a high quality feel all round.

Firstly, it fits my needs exceptionally well, it’s also one of the nicest looking extensions I’ve see. My study looks like NASA’s launch control room & I simply needed more sockets & USB charging station. The best thing though is the ability to switch power on & off without trying to reach behind three monitors. Very pleased with seller & quick delivery too.
Quite hard to put plugs in some of the sockets and noticed some plastic was broken inside 2 of them

Takes up quite a lot of space on desk but has proved very useful so far.
I use it for my gaming/steaming pc and I’m very happy with it.
Good Quality Build, the ports can be switching on top 4 and bottom 4 separately helping save electricity. Seems durable but only time will tell.
The best thing about this extension tower is that no matter how big the plug or adaptor that goes into this, it won’t interfere with any other plug sockets due to the design, the USB sockets are essential for the amount of things that require USB charging that this does well and should be standard in all extension sockets. The only thing about this product that I have any nit pick’s at, is that all of the sockets should have come with their own power switch/button.
Bought this to replace a similar item (alternate brand that broke within 3 months). This appears well made, sturdy and works well. It seems to have intelligent USB charging ports that I presume only power up when something is plugged in (as they only light up when this occurs).
I Certainly recommend this.

An extremely compact but sturdy tower extension strip. Really very well put together piece of item, that works extremely well and saves a lot of space. Would have loved to give it all 5 stars, if not for the slightly high price tag
Well made and compact 8 mains socket unit, ideal for my Windows desktop system. However, the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that when you plug in 2 sockets next to the on/off switches the cables interfere with the operation the switches. Otherwise an excellent product.
Small & compact, easily concealed, good build quality, built-in surge protection fits up nicely with my CCTV audio system & PC.

Delighted with this product. It arrived in less than 24 hours and is sturdy and well made. It is more compact than I imagined which is a good thing but it feels weighty and therefore I have confidence in plugging and unplugging. With so much technology in our houses today who wants tons of extension cable when you can have one of these compact and versatile charging towers that take up virtually no space.
Charge USB devises and use conventional plugs and chargers for phones and other items all at the same time.
This is a high-quality product and looks pretty cool but remaining discreet and can be nicely tucked away in a corner, under your bed or beneath your office desk.
I now have 2 of these and cannot recommend them highly enough.
Rather pricey, but a key point about this model is that ALL the USB charging ports deliver a full 2.4 amps if required. Most other similar items seem to have a variance of 1.2 or 2.4 A.

Expensive for an extension lead but the quality is so good! Really glad I got it, the build quality is really nice and it exudes confidence that the circuitry isn’t the cheaply engineered stuff that could damage equipment you see in “breakdown” videos/pics. I probably wouldn’t try to draw maximum power on all USB sockets simultaneously but I have a lot of faith in this product. Love that the indicators on the USB outlets go out when something is fully charged. Don’t know if that’s a common feature these days but the visual feedback is great. The LEDs dim in the dark which is just ridiculously snazzy. 🙂 It’s pretty small as others have stated but you can get quite a lot of ‘bricks’ / power supplys on it without any difficulty. It’s reasonably weighty so it stays in place nicely, and the supply power leads is a good length, quality and nice and chunky. You can buy something with the same on-paper functionality for less than half the price but I find this a good example of “you get what you pay for”!

The product is of good quality, compact and does the job. I’ve not yet tested the USB ports. A completely black unit would be preferable to match my kitchen design and a way to coil up extra cable would be helpful.
This is probably the best extension I’ve bought (and over the years I have had many). Smaller than I imagined it would be (so takes up less room), a solid feel including confidence giving mechanical click on/off buttons (each level of tower is individually switched) and useful (small) LED indicators. I would by again if the need were to arise. Only thing I would improve, personally I would have liked a slightly longer lead, I can’t take a star off for that though as it is what was stated in the description.
A very neat well designed extension, nice and compact in size yet able to plug in 8 electrical items plus usb charging points, I cannot fault this item in any way or form, the supplier dispatched quickly and it arrived well within the predicted timescale, and was packaged extremely well, would most definitely recommend this product.

We had a couple of 4 gang adaptors to run everything related to our TV and Entertainment systems, charge phones and the sort.
Then this came along. Taking 8 items via sockets plus space to run charging for phones and tablets via USB, freeing up socket space.
A nice little tower, that doesn’t look out if place.
Easy to set up and use, you’ll wonder why you didn’t get one earlier.
Includes six well implemented USB charging ports each capable of charging at up to 2.4 Amps regardless if all or some are in use. All auto shutdown when charging is completed, status indicator lights lets you know what’s going on at a glance.
Cable appears to be a thicker gauge than most and comes with a velcro tie to reduce cable clutter if you don’t require the use of the full length.
In use this unit appears to be a well made product. Initially I took a look at cheaper alternatives thinking a built-in cable winder would be useful, but in so many other areas the design and manufacture was based upon compromise.
Buy a cheaper alternative or spend a bit more and have something that’s this well designed?
I have to say since owning this BESTEK, I’ve realised that I made the right decision purchasing it. I’ve freed up numerous plugs previously used for USB chargers, it’s compact enough to store on the desk as opposed to on the floor.
A highly worthwhile purchase.
This product is absolutely fantastic! I have used it to charge multiple devices and it has worked brilliantly. I love the fact the it has usb ports rather than all plug sockets too! I will be buying this product again for the living room as the one I purchased was for upstairs (All my personal Tech!). All in all it is a brilliant product and would happily recommend it to anyone.

We’ve now got several of these in the office – very and not as ugly as traditional four ways.
This is a very unobtrusive tower which, because of its finish, does not look out of place located on a piece of furniture. I use it on my computer desk for hiding excess cables while easily connecting various electrical appliances. Very clever idea also including USB charging points within design. Very satisfied with product.
Works well. Nice and compact with lots of sockets for standard 3 pin plugs and USB. The latter charge fairly quickly.
This item has a very nice feeling build quality. It feels solid, compact and sturdy. Time will tell how it stands up to use, but I feel like I’m getting my moneys worth. I’ve simply not had one of this standard before. (That said I’ve never spent more than 15 on one either)
It has two switches, so you can turn the bottom or top 4 sockets on/off. It has multiple USB charging points. It also comes with surge protection, overload protection and over current protection which is the main reason I bought it. We’ve been known to get current fluctuations here, and I don’t want to chance several thousand pounds worth of electronics.
Another reason I like this one is that it has 8 plug connections. My setup looks much tidier now (vs two 4 strip extensions) This item is nice and discreet and tucks away perfectly.
My first impressions are that the items are well protected by this Bestek device, and I’ll likely be buying another one for the PC area.

My father likes it very much. It makes the desk tidy and the 6 USB charging ports are useful (addition of 2 more USB ports desired).
So far it has worked flawlessly. I purchased this to use when I go away and often hotels and B&Bs do not have enough sockets. Now I can charged my iPhone, iPad camera batteries and computer all at the same time from one socket. Nice and compact so easy to transport.
I rarely write reviews, but wanted to for this. I know it’s a little more expensive, but I feel it’s well worth the extra money. Sits nicely on a desk with the advantage of having easy access USB ports. Separate on/off switches for each set of 4 sockets (top 4 and bottom 4)
The sockets are smooth for inserting and removing plugs regularly – something which I find irksome with many other extension solutions where it feels like there’s a goblin holding onto the pins inside the device preventing you from easily removing them!
I’m using this in my office in a hotdesk area and it’s proving a real hit with all users. The addition of the USB charging ports is convenient and a relief when everyone has their laptops plugged in and you can still charge a mobile, tablet etc.

Very pleased with compact design and ease of use. The cable was too short for original purchase reason, but found a use for it elsewhere. Have got my husband one as he has medical appliances that I want protecting. The USB ports are very useful.

This is a compact, sturdy and well made unit. It’s stable when putting plugs in and out.
The switches are reassuringly positive. LEDs show what is switched on, also lighting up when a device is plugged into a USB socket.
The USB sockets are Smart, providing up to a total of 8 amps: several devices can be charged at once.
It’s a super piece of kit.

Arrived promptly. Sits in the corner of my desk and makes life very easy — no more scrambling behind the desk or PC to reach a socket or USB port!
I love how portable it is, though I would have liked the cable to the wall to be a little longer.

Update 03/2018 – Yes the LEDs drop in brightness when the lights are turned down. Great feature if this is in a bedroom.
Product is sturdy and has a high tech look to the product. As and FYI, all BESTEK products seem to have the innovative differential when compared to other products and have an 18 month warranty
Only negative is that they are more expensive but you get what you pay for.
I will be purchasing more.
Update 03/2108 – A few months of using this product and I’ve had no problems at all. Quality feel throughout. I will be purchasing another shortly.
I bought this as I needed extra sockets my old extension was too short, looks good sat on my desk, seems crazy but people have commented and asked me about it, but most important it works and of course the usbs are a great addition in today’s world, this may be more expensive than many extensions but if it was appropriate for were needed I would happily buy again.
Solid build quality. A bit pricey but hopefully it’s worth it in the long run. I’ll be putting it to good use soon for my PC.

unit itself is first class, well made and robust, heavier than i thought which is good as no chance of it overbalancing. have tried all 8 sockets and 6 usbs. all work fine. no sign of overheating at all.

This is a great product with eight outlets for electrical plugs, six 0-2.4A USB charging sockets and surge protection. Robust built and well designed with individual switches for the electrical sockets and green lights for outlets in use. Low profile and very stable. I have used it for several months and experienced no problems at all. I generally have 3 USB and 4 electrical sockets in use most of the time.

Great device it keeps my plugs tidy and better power savings as i can switch devices off and on that always use power and plug the ones i need on into a column that i can keep on luke alarm clock. It cleverly charges ps4 controller and stops once fully charged
Want a single power socket to provide 8 mains sockets AND 6 USB sockets? This Bestek power cube is simply awesome. No more 4 gang plugged into a 4 gang with cables running all over. Just a single cube, with surge protection, with everything plugged into it – and I’ve still got some spare capacity.

Good quality product would recommend However with the onset of the new C cables being used this is a now dated tower although a safer expensive option!
I really like this mains extension as it does a lot in a compact form factor. Even my wife was really impressed with this!
My only (very minor) gripe with it is that I would have liked the mains cable to have been slightly longer (say 2m instead of 1.8m), but this hasn’t stopped me from purchasing a couple more!
