What you see is what you get, it is a smart looking fan and it is not an eyesore. I got the Black and Silver one. This fan was a great buy during the summer lockdown, the weather was very hot and after doing a run and workout I need that cool down. The fan was also perfect for those hot sweaty uncomfortable nights. For me personally, the noise is not an issue, it is a little bit loud, but at the end of the day it is a metal fan with a metal blade so I would say given the material, it is not massively loud. The assembly of said fan was fairly straight forward, had all of my parts and had a few spares, which was nice. I did not buy the remote as there are literally panels built into the fan.
HOWEVER…
If the fan is on for a few hours at high speed then the motor will get a bit hot and it did heat for me, but again this was not a massive issue for myself as I just put it on as I needed it, or on the lower settings during the night time.
I had one issue with the motor during the night time, where by the fan and rotating mechanism would not work on the low settings, but would work fine on the highest. However it did sort itself out in the morning.
I’ve only given four stars for noise level because it does give off a certain level of noise but, this is to be expected as with all fans.
It is the quietest fan I’ve had over the years and it certainly puts out air flow, ample airflow to cool and refresh in hot weather.
Unfortunately, I don’t ever see a manufacturer being able to build a noiseless fan, but this one is maybe closer than any other make.
I certainly believe that the double blade is the main reason that this fan is quieter than any other make.

Loved everything about this. Some reviews state they found it noisy we didn’t had it on all night slept soundly. Remote is idle for adjusting the speed. Wish we’d bought this during the really hot period.
Bought the desktop fan and it’s probably the best desktop I’ve ever had, looks great, is top build quality and very quiet, couldn’t be happier with this purchase..
But it wasn’t clear what was the maximum height the fan could be raised to make it standing.
The lowest setting is almost whisper quiet and barely audible at the full power. Yet the air cool and carries to all areas of my fairly large living room.
It’s a good fan. Different speed and height settings. Easy to put together.

The sun went the day of delivery, so who knows if it works. But it looks good, a bit bigger then expected. So if you want a desk top fan look somewhere else

Stylish fan which I don’t mind leaving in my lounge for the summer. Found it a bit fiddley to assemble – the screws, nuts and washers were tiny! Bit noisy, but OK for living room but wouldn’t want it in bed room.
Personally I don’t think it is any noisier than any other fan I’ve owned over the years, however it’s output for the same noise is significantly more! Does a real good job of blowing the air about and find it very good on level two. Level three is pretty immense but it is arguably quite loud, saying that though I’ve had no problem falling to sleep with it on. The remote is very simple and effective and the whole package looks good.
A very good powerful fan. Works well. Obviously having 2 blades it moves a great deal of air so expect to hear the sound of blades moving / cutting rapidly through the air. The workings of the fan are quite. Good value. Bought it for cooling a studio where air conditioning would be over the top and air cooling would produce moisture problem. This fan has done the trick.
The noise could be improved, but it’s nothing to worry about . Overall on a scale from 1-10 an easy 9 .
Great fan so powerful it nearly blew me out of my window lol its like being in a wind tunnel sure a little bit noisy but its a fair trade off for the cooling effect.Would you rather be cool with a bit of noise that you’ll get used to quickly or have a quite fan that has less power that an ants fart i love it as I work nights so have to sleep during the screaming hot day
Got both the Bionair chrome metal one years ago and this new Bionair silver plastic one recently.
Chrome metal ones all metal, even the blades and it’s still going strong. Would have bought another for upstairs but they weren’t available on amazon on, so decided to get the silver plastic one instead. Easy to assemble unless your a complete donkey and cane in adequate protective packaging.
All plastic, even the blades. Neat turn dial with led lights to see the setting, but I like things solid and I’m sure the metal one will even outlive this one, but let’s see.

Bought this rather than a basic white plastic one. Very impressed for the moneys. Claims to be whisper quiet but it isnt magic so of course it makes a reasonable sound however that’s no issue. It looks very smart and well built. Can’t fault it.
This is the 2nd Bionaire dual blade fan That I have purchased. The first stopped working after 10 years (not bad). This new improved version is very easy to assemble and only took about 10 minutes. This new version comes with a remote which is a great idea. Some people are complaining that when you start the fan it does not start at the lowest setting but at the previous setting. Lovely cooling breeze with 3 speed settings plus a timer. Only need the 3rd setting for a quick blast as I find settings 1& 2 sufficient.
The only reason I didn’t give it a 5*, was that it could do with a lower ‘night time’ setting.
No 1 is OK for the day time, but pretty strong when you are sleeping.
Other than that, it looks good & works well 🙂
This is my second Bionaire Stand Fan, they are great, the remote really helps for bed and you can set it on a sleep timer. The noise level is average, its not quiet but its as expected.
Very quiet and sturdy fan. With the double blades it throws out so much better air circulation. I thought long and hard before buying as it’s a bit more expensive than many others available, but definitely worth the extra. The timer function is great too allowing you to set it to go off on its own. Definitely great value for money
Best fan I’ve bought. Three speeds and fairly quiet on lowest. It isn’t huge but is mighty powerful cools my room really well. Smart looking to.

Good fan. Wobbles a little bit, but good rate of airflow, not too loud and does the job of keeping me cool. Pretty easy to assemble. Would buy again.
This is a great size great looking product for a small home / bedroom it’s definitely strong enough and quiet as a fan can be I guess . It’s not silent but it is a fan and it works so all good .

Great fan. Very powerful and easy to use. My only gripe is the sleep mode is disturbing when it speeds up and slows down. This i find disrupts sleep. So i just keep it in speed 1 overnight and its perfect. I give it 8 out of 10.
Great fan, not the biggest BUT it kicks out a lot of due to the metal fins of the fan. It looks great too, it’s not the quietest due to the metal fans so maybe not for use in the bedroom

Solid build. Nice looking fan. Very powerful and sturdy. Three air settings. Easy to move around the house. You will need a small screwdriver for one screw but easy to assemble. So good I bought more! Not the cheapest and it shows in the quality! Good quality and worth the cost.
Great fan, our second, one for home, one for our caravan, work well, the only fault is the remote, every time you put it down on a hard surface, the batteries seem to move on the contacts, pain having to wiggle the batteries all the time

Glad I ignored negative reviews – looks great and works perfectly. The styrofoam around the plug/ motor was damaged and had been taped up again but I wondered if this is because it’s older or surplus stock so needed to be tested before selling? Anyway it had no impact on the product itself. Really pleased with my purchase and glad I didn’t go for a white one as this one looks so much more stylish and high quality.
Very good fan, had the old version of this fan without the remote and that was great. This is just as good and a little bit quieter. Airflow is as good as it gets really, cant beat it.
Was expecting full sized fan but I didn’t actually check the dimensions so that’s my own fault. It will go perfectly in my daughter’s box room though. Arrived well packaged, easy to assemble and the gun metal finish is quite attractive. Not the quietest but I wouldn’t say it’s loud either.
Only down side is, it’s a little shorter than I thought, but apart from that, it’s solid and looks better than some other cheaper variants.
Glad I spent a little more buying this one and ignoring the negative reviews!

Love this, it was so badly needed after breaking my big fan in the middle of the heat wave. I love the fact it has a timer so if you fall asleep it will shut off, and better still it has a remote, no getting out of bed to switch it off. Runs very smoothly and I find it fairly quiet, I can sleep when its on and that ‘s a good sign for me. Very happy customer.
In a nutshell a pretty fan that is powerful (more powerful then some of the larger fans) but wasn’t expecting it to be such a small size for the price and it is a bit noisy!

I don’t think its anymore noisy than a lot of the more expensive fans on the market, and it certainly does the job as intended.
my only gripe is i received no remote with mine but i didn’t pay the usual price at the time of 80 and now i have noticed as of this review the price now is 125, obviously due to the extreme heat at the mo they are cashing in.
This is the second Bionaire fan we have. Both are first class. At full power a little noisy, but no worse than any other. Both are well made and give a good airstream. Don’t know what we would do without them in this hot weather!! I recommend both the fans and the seller.
After researching lots of fans I went for this. More expensive than I wanted to pay but worth the money. It’s not the quietest of fans but it is powerful and has been a great purchase for the hot/humid weather.
Love this fan, it’s just what I needed. Works absolutely fine and is quite powerful on the first setting. It’s a nice size, perfect for desk or bedside cabinet. A little noisy but I kind of like fan sound do it doesn’t bother me. The reason I will only give 4 stars is because the fan blades had little scratches and the engine itself had a few marks on the outside.
Other than that, love this fan and it was definitely worth what I payed for it.

The small, yet powerful fan is simple to build (under 5minutes) and has two handy heights, desk height is perfect for a small room. The strong weighted base is much sturdier than the standard 3/4 leg design. Although more expensive, this is a quality product with 3 years warranty. The black is stylish and its effective at circulating air and with the higher powered motor its still reasonably quiet. Thank you!
A simple fan, easy to set up. Fairly stable, but then it isn’t too tall. It is not too noisy to my ear.
he twin blade is what makes this different from the rest.I dont bother with all the fancy controls just top speed and set the manual position. East to assemble although i was an enginee
4 months after the purchase it is still working as intended, no problems whatsoever. It’s strong, has remote control and performs well. I found the “wind” mode to be rather irritating – as it simply switches between speeds every few seconds, but it’s OK for me, I am only using it on 1st speed, or in rare situations on higher one, simply because 1st is enough.
I will update the review once it will fail, but until then consider it live and kicking.
Really 60 is a stupid amount of money to spend on a fan. However this is brilliant and was well worth the money in the height of summer.
I would compare it to the American fans – quiet and powerful. Can’t even be compared to the pathetic ones you get in most shops.
This fan truly does a good job at cooling you down,the only reason for four stars not five was because after a week of use,it started to vibrate quite badly,needing hubby to tighten it up. Other than that I love it and I would still recommend this product.

Worth the money I think. Yes it is a little noisy, but most fans except perhaps the very small,are. This one is large and does move a lot of air so you will hear it. The timer function is good as is the remote control. Being on a pedestal makes it much more usable around the house. It seems well made and is well packaged.
Instructions are poor but common sense guides you to assemble this product quite easily. Light weight fan, easy to carry up and down the stairs. No battery provided for the remote control which was such a shame considering that this item is not cheap.
Really pleased with our fan ~ it’s the next best thing to air conditioning!

The fan is great, but I had to return it since there was no “very gentle breeze” mode. My room is small and I study, so fan kept on shuffling my pages. My suggestion is to buy it if your room is bigger than 8 m2 (86 ft2).
Apart from that – the fan looks solid, noise is acceptable, controls are simple. Delivery and collection were flawless. Worth the buy.
The double blade design doesn’t do all that much in my opinion other than make the fan a bit louder, I rarely run mine at any other speed than the lowest setting, as the fan is very loud at higher speeds, the back casing on the fan oscillates a fair bit but it doesn’t detract from its operation I mainly use this when I’m sleeping, it does the job and keeps me cool. I just wish it at higher speeds it didn’t disrupt my sleeping.
Love this fan. It is quiet contrary to what other reviews say. I bought it to keep my disabled dog cool in this hot weather and its doing the job. Keeps me cool too! Easy to assemble – only thing I didn’t like was the amount of plastic bags which were wrapped round everything!
The remote is also pretty decent and allows you to toggle the fan on and off, switch between the speed settings, switch between the timer settings and switch between another settings I’m not sure of the purpose for (it seems to apply some randomisation to the fan, meaning it’ll be powerful for a few seconds, before slowing down/stopping for a few seconds…).
My gripes with this fan would be that it’s loud (it has 2 fan blades and is pretty big, so I was expecting as much) and the speed setting switching seems to go “1>2>3>2>1” rather than “1>2>3>1”, but that’s something you can get used to.
The ‘randomisation’ setting is something I don’t understand the purpose of, so it’s just a another button I won’t ever use on the fan…
Overall, it’s a decent enough fan and kept me pretty cool and comfortable while playing games on my computer during the hot week(s).

Don`t be put off by the size. For its small stature it packs a punch and is quiet and very stable. Well worth the extra cost over cheap, bigger, less stable plastic rivals, Has a build quality that will out live those by years.
Very impressed with this fan. It’s easy to assemble and the round base is much sturdier than the cross legged ones.
It’s more powerful than our old one and therefore a bit noisier, but we can have it on it’s highest setting in the bedroom all night and sleep through it fine.
The remote is a nice addition and comes in handy.
We don’t particularly like the breeze setting, but that’s just personal preference.
Overall it’s a really great fan and therefore worth the higher price.
Item Looks well built and Sturdy.
The fan head is not as big as a floor fan but the base looks strong and has an additional weight in there for support which is much better than the floor fans which have the 4 criss cross legs as those bend easily and than the fan just topples over each time.
I will update further when we have used the item for a while.
I used it as a stand fan. quality as described and pictured. The speed selector is a turning knob at the back of motor which is not convenient for changing speed. It would be better if the speed selector is on the floor panel or even better with a remote control.
It has a very minor squeak every once in a while, but overall, it’s a solid fan. I use it for 8+ hours a day in the summer and it works like a champ.
After heavy use, the fan blade has started to hit the casing occasionally. However this is most likely from me knocking it. Solid fan, really strong.
Its a great little fan – and looks really cute/stylish. But I mean it when I say little! Had in my mind a standard sized fan and when I put it together it was a lot smaller than the convention or usual size freestanding fans. It still does the job though – the power in it is pretty good and it also really quiet. Worth the buy if you’re after something that looks good and doesn’t take up too much space.

This is a great quality fan. Looks good, is sturdy and is really easy to put together. Took me circa 20 minutes, but would probably have taken 10 if I needed to.
3 speeds, but the lowest works well for us, to help keep our dogs keep cool. Is fairly quiet and rotates well.

This one is powerful and can be used as a desk fan or a pedestal fan.
Shame the hot weather seems to have gone now. But I am really pleased with this. It is not silent at full speed but I can’t see how any fan can be any quieter when moving that much air. The only noise you hear is the air moving, not noises coming from the device. My vertical belt fan was hidiously noisy, mostly the motor.
