So easy to use. You get use to it very quickly and it doesn’t pull your arms!! Much easier than mopping. Only thing is that it came with two sets of pads- both the same. I was hoping that it would have the scrubby pads. However you can place the scouter pad (like on the back of a sponge) and it demolishes marks and stains!

Love this floor cleaner. Its so much easier than cleaning with a mop and bucket. Brings my kitchen ceramic flooring up lovely. Its easy to use, long cable and quiet. Easy removable pads which just go into the washing machine.

This Spinwave is easy to use and good for surface dirt. I have an exceptionally dirty farmhouse floor so I won’t be throwing out my Vileda mop and bucket just yet or occasionally using my scrubbing brush.

I find it really good on my kitchen floor that has tiles on with ridges. I use the scrub pads and it comes up really great. Many thanks

Bought a shark one but can’t be used on wooden flooring so purchased this instead and returning the other one. Cleans floor lovely and so quiet I wouldn’t say it scrubs the floor mind . My kitchen tiles always look dirty unless u use bleach and no different with this . Our kitchen is heavily used with my husband and boys back and fore out the back and allotment never take their flipping boots off. But does fetch it up nicely.

I bought this from the Amazon warehouse at a cheaper price, apart from a. Few scrapes and lack of a manual, the machine works perfectly well.
I used to scrub the floors on my hands and knees-this saves me from doing that and doesn’t leave streaks, so I no longer needs to go over the floor twice for a perfect finish. It’s easy to put together and use, you just need to get used to handling it, but that is not an issue at all.
    I would highly recommend

I was surprised how good this is, I’ve got solid wooden bamboo floors that always look marked. I had to use this machine 3x as it kept picking up dirt that a steam cleaner or mop left behind.

This is a good cleaner that works well – it is not a heavy duty cleaner but will cope with most domestic hard floors. It is easy and quick to use daily – its 4 times as fast as a mop – and over a period of time it improves a floor’s appearance, simply by more frequent, faster repetitive cleaning . It can also polish floors using any number of floor polishes.

I would recommend buying a spare set of Pads as every time I have used it, the pads have turned from bright white to a very dirty brown – into the washing machine they go.

The machine is relatively cheap, but it does have running costs of replacement pads every so often, cleaning fluids (the bissell fluid is 13/l) and the cost of frequent washing of pads.

There is one thing to be very careful of. When changing the pads, check the little screws in the centre of the black pad holders that the scrub pads attach to. These can work loose and stick out – screw them back in fast if you see this happening. The reason for this is that if you use the machine with a screw sticking out to any extent, it will damage the threading in the part the screw fits into – which means it will not hold the screw. It will probably run fine without the screw for a while , but it will wear faster and break sooner, and you risk the pad holder falling off through gravity. This could be fixed with a small amount of PTFE tape or similar on the screw when the product is made to help its grip the threading and reduce the loosening effects of vibration whilst in use. From my experience, if you feel wobbling whilst the cleaner is in use, it is likely that a screw has come loose.

All in all it works well if you deal with the above.

Overall nice piece of equipment. Very easy to use and most useful on relatively lightly used floors. Probably most suitable for smaller areas (less than 30sqm) as water capacity is limited. It has struggled on our tiles, which are heavily used (kids, dog, etc.). However, this does not mean I would not recommend it for people with different circumstances.

I live in a 3 bedroom penthouse. With one dog and 2 cats. I wish I had bought this product years ago.
    1. It’s light
    2. It’s easy to use
    3. It’s super easy to empty what it picks up.
If I could give it 10 stars I would.

I know there’s been some not so great reviews for this product but, for me it’s been a god send. I have arthritis and the whole ground floor of my house is either tiled, or laminated. It’s difficult and painful to use a traditional mop so I decided to go for an electric. It doesn’t take any longer to clean my floors and I’m not crippled and exhausted afterwards.
    Some hints for users:
    1. You do need to change the pads when cleaning a large area as they get filthy – but this equates to swirling dirty water from a traditional mop. I bought additional pads so I could change them often. You just pop them in the washing machine to clean. It’s also testimony to how dirty the floor is, rather than the mop.
    2. I spray some bleach on the tiled floors before use and it cleans great. Any stubborn stains, just hold he mop over them for a few seconds and it takes them away.
    3. There’s a grey dot in the centre of the pad. Make sure it’s lined up to the centre screw on the rotating discs, otherwise it’ll go off on it’s own route.
    4. The cleaning fluid supplied is ok but I use my regular cleaner diluted and its works just as well.
    5. The cable could be longer but if you have enough sockets, it’s not a big issue.
    6. Because it’s round, it doesn’t get into tight nooks and crannies but, then neither does a traditional mop and I have to give them an additional wipe. It does, however go tight against straight edges.
    7. I’ve given a 4 for manoeuvrability and deep cleaning because of 4 & 5.
    8. I haven’t used the softer polishing pads as yet so can’t comment on these.

Overall, I’d recommend this product. Able bodied members of my household love it as well.

Sick of using steam mops that don’t last long, I thought i’d try this.
I have found it very easy to use and it does all the hard work itself.
I use Bona liquid but you can use whatever you like, and you can spray as much or as little
onto the floor as you need.
The lead is long and I can clean the conservatory, kitchen and bathroom tiles without unplugging.
The cleaning pads spin and therefor pull the mop around- bit of a knack holding onto it at first.
Pads are easy to clean I do mine by hand in the sink as they don’t get that dirty, but you can put them
in the washing machine if needed.
This is a very good mop for my needs, far better than all that steam.

I like the product and how it ‘moves’ around the floor but was shocked to realise that it doesn’t heat the water and use it as steam in addition to the detergent, particularly as I had searched for ‘steam mop’ in the Amazon search bar. I suppose I could argue that it’s my fault for not reading the spec closely enough before purchasing but it really shouldn’t appear in a search for ‘steam mops’ if it isn’t one. I don’t think it cleans as well as steam mop would but can find use for it on our wooden floor which isn’t suitable for steam.

The pads spin quite fast and it takes a bit of practise to guide it where you want it to be. Excessive use might cause elbow pain- I certainly felt like I’d done something a little vigorous after cleaning my floors with it.

But, overall is better than a non-electric floor cleaner.

I have a big German Shepherd and vinyl flooring that has been notoriously difficult to clean. Having tried most steam and spray mops, I often had to use a scrubbing brush a bucket and devote 2 hours to cleaning the floor. The spinwave has been a game changer. It is so effective at getting to the difficult moulding in the floor and does a near perfect finish in terms of scrubbing. The only downside has been that we have used it alot and one of the sides stopped working as well. There is however an excellent YouTube video which shows you how to fix this problem. This has become one of those items in my home that I can’t live withou

So easy to use didn’t even need instruction booklet.

Straight out of the box, click handle down into place, tap pads onto each circle base and press down to make sure they are stuck. Plug in, pull back on handle to unclick it from upright position, press button at top of handle to switch on and away it goes merrily spinning away.

I chose to take the risk and purchase one from the ‘warehouse deals’ section on Amazon at an amazing deal price. It had the odd mark but nothing to worry about, was missing the free cleaning fluid but did arrive with the two scrubby circle mats. I have saved a heap of money and the unit works perfectly and I have plenty of cleaning products for both my wooden and tiled floors. My floors look fantastic without any backbreaking effort from me and the best bit is that the scrubby pads work very well on my uneaven quarry tiles and just as well on my real wood flooring. I’m a late sixty something woman and this lightweight but robust machine is making my floor cleaning a pleasure! Registered for my warranty on the Bissell website without a problem

I have a textured hard flooring and cannot get the grooves clean. Apart from getting on my hands & knees to scrub with a hard brush. This is not favourable at my age
This spin wave mop has made a huge difference. After mopping with a regular mop then using the spin wave, made me realise how much dirt a regular mop doesn’t pick up.
Highly recommend this product. Wish I had bought it before buying all the other types of mops.

The BISSELL SpinWave | Hard Floor Cleaning System | Electric Spray Mop is worth its weight in gold. I previously used an ordinary floor mop and from time to time floor wipes after mopping to try and soak up any excess dirt. Well, my new floor cleaner has made both these things redundant and not only will I save money on floor wipes (which can be expensive not being long lasting), but I can now also save on storage space because I don’t have to store a mop bucket, mop and floor wipe cleaner in my small utility room.

I have riveted tiles, and using a floor mop just moves the dirt around and makes it stick to the grooves. Not only that, but the dirt was being pooled inbetween the tiles in the grout. Well, that’s not happening with my new electric floor cleaner. Whilst it isn’t aimed at cleaning deep into grout, it is lifting the dirt out of the grout slowly as well.

My floor has never looked so clean (apart from when it was first laid two years ago). I am honestly delighted with the results on my kitchen floor. I will try and take a before and after photo of my utility room to show the difference. No point in doing this with my kitchen floor because it looks lovely and clean again.

My only concern with this mop is that it may not last long – the cleaner isn’t a commercial one and may not be long lasting, but I guess time will have to tell. At the moment, I’m delighted and would highly recommend this item to anyone who doesn’t have the time (or desire) to scrub riveted floor tiles.

I purchased this cleaner as I have light coloured textured ceramic tiles in my kitchen and an ordinary steam mop wasn’t cleaning them very well. It is easy to use and attach the cleaning pads. It came with a small bottle of cleaning fluid which you mix with hot water. There is a button on the handle to spray the cleaning liquid onto the floor. I found that it leaves the floor quite wet but it cleans it well. It is very easy to manoeuvre but being only 4ft 9 ins tall, I found it a bit heavy to carry upstairs to the bathroom. Overall, it is a very good cleaner and I would recommend to others.

I replaced my steam mop with this and found it cleans and buffs much better all without the effort of using a steam mop.

it works like a buffing machine so you need to just guide it and let it do its thing

I’m using it on laminate flooring like a buffer so no need to get the pads soaking wet

as for cleaning up spills l wouldn’t advise it as does operate like a buffer and it will just spread the spill around

Good well made product at a decent price. I had hoped it might have a bit more oomph to clean the beading between our Amtico tiles. I think it works best if you use a second mop to remove excess wet and dirty water that is left behind.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI never write reviews, so this has to be special!!!
I’ve struggled cleaning my floors for a while. I have textured vinyl, 2 dogs, 2 kids and I’m chronically unwell, mopping is a chore!! But this piece of kit has just answered all my prayers.
Out of the box it seems heavy, but it’s definitely not when in use. It automatically pulls forwards when switched on so it doesn’t need lots of strength to use. The cord is a reasonable length. It comes with spare pads, some cleaning fluid and a good sized tank to hold the solution.
My floors are gleaming! I don’t feel like I’ve just ran a marathon and my inner Monica (if you know you know) is so darn happy!
    It’s also very quiet!
The bottle of cleaning fluid is small and not scented, I used over half the bottle doing 4 rooms, but I read that flash floor cleaner is also great in this machine.
Overall, one of the best appliances I’ve ever purchased!

    I think I'm in love!!!

I received my Spinwave last week & put it to the test yesterday! There had been an awful lot of rain recently & both my dogs have traced in mud & other yucky paw prints. My steam mop leaves my wood floors far to wet & just doesn’t seem to remove all the muck. So I tried the Spinwave. I ended up receiving two set of two scrub pads instead of one set & one set of polishing pads but I wasn’t bothered. I used the Spinwave with warm water & the provided solution & did my whole downstairs (I only live in a small cottage). I then changed the pads & went over again but without using any more water. This helped in the few areas I over sprayed. The result was tremendous. The machine was a bit hard to manage at first but after a while you get used to it. I absolutely love it. It worked a treat. I hope it continues to work as great as it did the first time. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

I have been looking for a floor cleaner for a while now. Traditional mops/flat head mops just don’t cut it for this type of flooring.
My amtico is textured so an absolute nightmare to get deep down dirt out and the floor never looked clean which frustrated me everyday and I have this laid all throughout my downstairs so you can imagine how hard it is to clean – being light grey as well – and trying to keep on top of it with a husband, kids and two dogs 🙁
After reading a review last week I took the plunge and got one because you can’t use a steam cleaner with my type of flooring either so this sounded perfect.
Was super easy to set up and I used a bit of the Bissell floor cleaner you get with it but that soon ran out. The cord is nice and long too so that’s a bonus.
You can control how much you want to spray out so you don’t get the floor too wet. It drys practically straight away and no streaks or stickiness.
Note: I did however have to get on my hands and knees and scrub the floor before I used this as I had a lot of deep down grime to get rid of first.
I have been using this for a week now and it works like a dream. Not one bit of deep dirt in the grooves.
Had a few dried muddy dog paw marks the other day so whipped it out and it deep cleaned the muck straight out.
This is honestly a god send for me. So glad I purchased one.
I also purchased extra pads (not the bissell brand but compatible pads) I got the extra scrub textured ones and they are brilliant.
I won’t be purchasing the bissell cleaning formula as it’s really pricey for the amount I need to use (daily) so I have been using normal Flash floor cleaner and it shines the floor up and smells nice too.
Would 100% recommend to anyone having the same problems as me with the trapped dirt but like I said you might have to scrub it first then use the bissell machine to keep on top of it.
It’s a 10/10 for me made my day to day cleaning life so much easier and stress free
    🙂

    Amazing find for Amtico/Karndean flooring

The Bissell Spinwave is great at polishing and buffing the floor AFTER it’s been cleaned.

    ON TILES:
After tiles were dry, it left streaks and the floor was matt, (I have shiny tiles) this is because as you add more water to your floor, the pads get dirtier and dirtier. So effectively you are cleaning your floor with dirty pads. Unlike a mop where you are constantly wetting and cleaning the mop in the bucket. After the floor was dry I went over it again with dry pads, no water and it buffed up well with shiny tiles. A bit of a waste of time. Had I used my mop originally it would have taken me less time.

    TIP:
To get shiny tiles, rinse or change the pads during cleaning a couple of times, OR you will end up with streaks and matt tiles.

    ON REAL WOOD:
Again use the mop with wood floor cleaner (Method wood cleaner is the best!) Then buff with the spinwave and dry pads. Lovely shiny clean floors.

Overall, if I could I would send back and stick with my bucket and mop. Unfortunately there is no short cuts when it comes to good cleaning!!l

Remember: that if you don’t change to clean your pads whilst cleaning your floor you are effectively cleaning with dirty pads.

This cleans (but doesn’t deep-clean) my slate floor & wooden floor adequately & it’s better than scrubbing on my knees. The fluid is expensive (cheapest from eBay) but if you don’t use it you invalidates the guarantee.
My machine started acting up just under a year from purchase & Amazon, although helpful, referred me to Bissel. After sending a copy of proof of purchase, they accepted the machine for repair. Wish I’d saved the box, it was up to me to find one & pack it safely. Bissel sent me a pre-paid UPS label, but UPS charge for collection (they don’t tell you this at the time).
My supposedly repaired machine was returned with a broken handle – the clip had been broken right off, so I couldn’t even put it together to test the repair! After sending photos of the break & the packaging to Bissel, they sent me another UPS label. This time I took it to the UPS drop-off, inconvenient but free. I’m waiting patiently for my machine & using a Flash mop – they’re good, nothing to go wrong & gives me a work-out of sorts..

I hate cleaning but this is fun. Really easy to fill. Uses very little water/detergent. It does make the floor quite dull- I haven’t found the right solution for it but it does clean well. I bought extra pad as the ones supplied were the rougher ones but the slate and porcelain tiles are better with the smooth pads.

Don’t normally write these reviews but this machine is the best I’ve ever had we have large porcelain tiles which are cream in colour and are really hard to keep shiny. My normal method was hands and knees with window spray and kitchen roll that was the best way to do it but dam was it hard work. I was sweating by the time I’d finished it’s quite a large floor. Use this machine don’t use or buy the liquid that comes with it. Buy some cheap window cleaner and put that in the holder instead. Don’t go crazy with the spray when cleaning. Little is better don’t get the buffers to damp. Trust me you’ll love this machine

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have pale, wood-effect porcelain tiles with a ‘grain’ (see the first picture). We’ve had them for just under two years and I’ve noticed that there is grime in the grooves that has built up after using a dip-it-in-a-bucket-of-water mop during this time. Scrubbing on hands-and-knees with an old-fashioned bristle brush and floor cleaner didn’t remove it. Using an extremely stiff plastic scrub pad and The Pink Stuff did, but — my god — who wants to do that for hours on end once a year?

About an hour of internet comparison sites for electric mops brought me to the Bissell SpinWave, which was at the top of all of the lists. “Excellent!” I thought. Then an Amazon review stated that this mop was fantastic at cleaning the dirt out of the grooves of tiles and her children’s socks remained clean. “Stupendous!” I thought. “This mop is for me.” And I bought it.

And this mop is for me… I know longer LOATHE mopping — oh my god, I hated mopping — and it picks up the surface dirt bea-u-tifully! (See the video and before and after pictures.) It’s just as quick as my traditional mop, but it glides easily across the floor, it uses less water and therefore less chemical floor cleaner, and the floors dry very, very quickly.

But it does not get the 1 1/2 years of grime out of the grooves of my porcelain tiles and I still had to get down on my hands and knees and use a stiff-bristle brush drill attachment and The Pink Stuff.

What Bissell needs to make is this exact machine, but with stiff-bristle attachments. My great, great aunt had one in the 70s, which we inherited in the 80s and it was fab. But do you think that I could find a modern version on the internet that didn’t cost the world? No. No one sells them. Which is a shame.

So, this is a five star machine if you don’t want it to clear built up grime out of your pale tile’s grooves, but I’ve given it four stars because I do want it to clear grime out of my pale tile’s grooves…and it doesn’t.

P.S. The ‘after’ picture of the pads is after cleaning 14.5sqm of dog-paw dirty floor.
P.P.S. I change the pads after each room because I have big rooms and dirty floors, so, if you’re going to do that, too, it’s worth buying more pads right away.

Review for those with grooves in their pale porcelain tiles...and for anyone else.

I have struggled to use steam mops because they take ages to heat up and are always getting blocked as I live in a hard water area. I decided to look for something different and came across the SpinWave and decided to give it a go. It’s so easy to use and with the wet weather and a puppy in the house, I can get it out and in 5 mins my floor is clean and looking great. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for deep cleaning and manoeuvrability is that it doesn’t really get down and clean the grout and as the heads are round, it misses the corners. I was also a little disappointed in the size of the bottle of cleaning fluid supplied, although even when using a small amount of water and cleaning fluid, it manages to clean both my kitchen and tiles, so hopefully it will last a while.

It’s light, easy to use and scrubs the floor well. I just wish it came with more scrubbing pads.

Purchased to clean and polish a very smooth shiny tiled floor. Until now we have been using a steam mop and then buffing to a shine which is hard work and time consuming. This machine does both jobs as there is a tank for solution on the front which after a short press on a button releases a squirt of liquid. With the scrubbing pads on, removes the bulk of the dirt. Follow up with the soft pads to a shine. The machine is very quiet and not too heavy.
Note; There is a sample bottle of solution tucked away at the bottom of the box. We had to contact Amazon as all four pads were the scrubbing type ie no soft pads as per the description.
Totally delighted with the finish and the service from Amazon.

I am really glad I bought the Bissell Spinwave. It takes all the hard work out of cleaning my laminate floors and it’s very easy to use.

Great for cleaning wooden floors, we also used it to buff the floors after we had applied polish. Bought extra pads so we could change after each use.

This item has transformed our lives. I was not sure it would work and in all the reviews I could not see about it getting out ground in dirt. It truly is spectacular and cleaned the path from the patio through the living room where dogs and cats roam all day (actually for five years where nothing else would clean it except hand and knees hard grind). Highly recommend the extra scrubby pad (orange one) and to be generous in changing the pads for max effect. The liquid also smells lovely and bonus – it works on carpet!!

Cleaned a tiled floor quite well – muddy ground in bits took a bit longer but so much better than doing it by hand. Fun to use too as others have said

The Spinwave has been brilliant at cleaning the non slip flooring in a wet room and kitchen. A mop never brought up the dirt effectively because of the dimpling on the surface of the floor but the Spinwave cleans it quickly, easily and with minimum amount of wetting and it’s quiet to use. Floors are dry and ready to be walked on in a fraction of the time.
I just take off the cleaning pads when finished and put in the washing machine, I’ve got 3 sets so there’s always clean pads to use.

Great product. Gives a great result and it’s done in no time. Would recommend to anyone who hates a mop and bucket like me.

Love this mop. I have textured non slip floor tiles downstairs and found that my old steam mop would leave streaks over the floor. I would have to use a micro fibre cloth to remove the smears. Tried this once and my floors are now completely streak free. I also found that you don’t need much water either. Mop heads washed in the machine and have washed well. Leaves floors slightly damp but dries within minutes. Just be careful the first time you use it, I was completely unprepared for the spinning action and took a little while to get used to.
Exceptionally pleased with this product, especially as my hesitation and final decision to purchase coincided with a lighting deal.

It’s a good machine, but I purchased it to clean my high gloss floors. I had hoped that it wouldn’t dry with such unpleasant water / soap marks like with a mop, sadly it’s identical in this regard. I use the Bissell all-purpose fluid mix, then repeat with clean water to remove the soap (new pads), then repeat to dry (again new pads) and it’s still streaky. Spraying glass cleaner in front of the machine during a fourth pass for every tile is the only way to remove most of the marks it seems.

Why did I not get this sooner? Cleaning the floor has taken on a new meaning to me! Fantastic product…no mop buckets, no streaks, dry floors basically in minutes. I have a lot of travertine flooring and it made light work of this. Love love love how easy cleaning is.
I’d read all the reviews and bought extra scrubby and polishing pads. These are so easy to put on and wash up brilliantly. The sample bottle of cleaner is small but goes a long way and smells lovely.
If you’re hesitating to buy…DON’T. You won’t be disappointed.

Pleased with this purchase. Easy to use, floors look cleaner than when I used mop and bucket. Cleaning pads came up nice and clean after washing in the washing machine. Good long flex so no problem accessing large floors.

Not for deep cleaning where you need scrubber and elbow grease, but works great for lighter maintenance cleaning, fresh stains and good for applying a wax-oil and maintainer for an Osmo sealed wood floor (with soft pads). you can see the circular patterns though until rinsing. Has improved with the keepow extra scrubby orange pad but still not ideal for deep cleaning. You can’t apply enough pressure to really scrub (overloading motor) and not enough friction for heavy staining or grout cleaning. Improves with more cleaning fluid, but the beep is annoying. Ultimately though it’s not a quick process – first sweep and hoover, then cleaning fluid, then rinse is not quick even for a small area. What it does do is make it very easy for regular light cleans and spills. For scrubbing I still need a scrubber and vileda ultra max spray mop for elbow grease.

Decided to splash out and get something thats easy to clean my LVT oak flooring, as the previous mop got gummed up quickly and I can’t use a steam mop on LVT.
This product is amazing so far – first day out the box, and I’m half way through cleaning my floor and have stopped to write a review whilst the floor is drying. It is so incredibly easy to use, very manoeuvrable, much quieter than I was expecting. It’s kinder on my lower back too so I’m very pleased with my purchase so far.

This is a great piece of kit. We purchased it based on the reviews seen here as we have the Porcelanosa plank tiling with the wood grain effect which seemingly never gets clean. This thing does an amazing job of removing every piece of dirt from within the tiny crevices. The only criticism… and it’s not even a criticism at that, is that the ‘scrubby’ pads aren’t scrubby at all. We purchased the additional aftermarket Orange and white pads which are much more suited to deep cleaning. Going over with the white pads afterwards will leave your floors spotless.
