Blagdon Midipond Pumps are high quality pumps manufactured with advanced technology to run pond fountains and water features. The powerful motors are easy to maintain having a single moving part impeller system featuring highly wear-resistant ceramic shaft design.
- 3500 – Medium pond. Dimensions (approx.): 2.4m (L) x 1.7m (W) x 0.45m (D) Will run a fountain or feature and a filter in a pond with the max volume of 3582 litres. Will run a fountain or feature and a filter AND a waterfall in a pond with maximum volume 1879 litres.
- 4500 – Large Pond. Dimensions (approx.): 3.6m (L) x 1.6m (W) x 0.52 (D) Will run a fountain or feature and a filter in a pond with the max volume of 4620 litres. Will run a fountain or feature and a filter AND a waterfall in a pond with maximum volume 3150 litres.
- 5500 – Large + Pond. Dimensions (approx.): 4.3m (L) x 1.8m (W) x 0.56m (D) Will run a fountain or feature and a filter in a pond with the maximum volume of 5628 litres. Will run a fountain or feature and a filter AND a waterfall in a pond with the maximum volume 4332.
- 6500 – Extra Large Pond. Dimensions (approx.): 5.3m (L) x 1.7m (W) x 0.61m (D) Will run a fountain or feature and a filter in a pond with the maximum volume of 6668. Will run a fountain or feature and a filter AND a waterfall in a pond with the maximum volume of 5472 litres.

This is to replace a midi pond 5500, which I had for 15 years to service a water feature requiring a lift of nearly 2 metres, and is a little more powerful for improved flow. These pumps are the only ones which worked for this water feature, after trying at least 5 others which boasted the same power and lift. Hoping for another 15 years from this one!
Good pump and delivery, but this is a replacement as the first one packed up after two weeks.
More details on connection required, especially when connecting to a water fall feature with a reservoir on top.
Recently purchased various makes of pump and had to send back due to various quality and performance issues. This pump is very sturdy and runs my filter, waterfall and fountain very well

This is the best pond pump that I have had over the 35years of having a fish pond. It requires less cleaning than previous models and the ceramic bearings last for years.
Pump comes with a good little range of fittings, with 5 different spray-heads. I’ve only used the daisy type so far, it’s all I need really.
Nice little leaflet/instruction book explains all you need to know to set it up.
Good chunky weight to the unit, easy to place it where I wanted in my pond.
Good length of power cable at 10 metres.
