Compared to a Blue Snowball this is much better. I used to record voice overs for online presentations and the sound quality is more than adequate for the purpose.
Mir hat das Produkt sehr gefallen, es ist etwas kleiner als das Yeti und dadurch der komfortabel.Es hat ein schnes schlichtes Design und funktioniert auch bei der ps4.Das einzige was ich bemngeln kann ist, dass wenn ich den mute Knopf bettige, das es dann einen gut hrbaren Ton in das mich. gibt.

Es un micrfono fcil de usar e ideal para podcasts y streamings. Compar el yeti nano con el micrfono de mi telfono, del computador y el de los auriculares y me sorprendi la calidad que tiene. La prueba ms notable fue cuando toqu la armnica y la guitarra, se nota al instante su capacidad de captar tonos graves y agudos.
No dira que es el mejor micrfono pero cumple perfectamente su funcin y est a un precio razonable.

No requiere configuracin, lo conectas y lo usas. Yo lo uso para videoconferencias y todas las aplicaciones que he usado lo reconocen sin problemas, solo en alguna necesitas designarlo como el micrfono de la sesin, adems no necesito usar audfonos, a menos que requiera privacidad.
Excelente calidad de sonido para streams y llamadas, tamao ideal para tenerlo en el escritorio sin que moleste y excelente precio, definitivamente vale cada centavo.

Ich benutze das Mikrofon fr meinen Onlinekurs. Bin also dabei auf meiner Matte vor der Kamera und das Mikrofon steht meistens vor mir am Boden. Laut meinen Kursteilnehmern bin ich sehr gut zu verstehen (kein Rauschen, keine abgehackten Sequenzen). Daher habe ich den Kauf nicht bereut. Fr meine Zwecke reicht es es sehr gut. Anschlieen war ebefalls easy: Stecker ans Laptop – fertig.
Ein wirklich tolles Produkt. Ich habe es gnstiger ber die Resterrampe vom Amazon erhalten und bin sehr zufrieden. Trotz fehlenden Popschutz ist die Qualitt sehr gut. Die kompatible Sherpa Software von BLUE rundet das Gesamtpaket sehr gut ab. Damit lassen sich kleine Feinschliffe wie Rauschunterdrckung ttigen.
Ho comprato questo microfono per fare podcast. Purtroppo aveva un problema ma l’azienda me lo ha sostituito al volo senza troppi problemi. Per questo ho messo il massimo dei voti, perch anche l’assistenza della casa madre stata ottima. Col nuovo microfono nessun problema e ottima resa del suono.
Realmente estoy contento con esta compra, lo utilizo en un iPad Pro y suena genial, pero deben considerar que no se utiliza de la misma manera que en computadora, por ejemplo la ganancia no se puede modificar en el ipad por lo que al utilizarlo en el iPad debo hacercar mucho el micrfono a mi boca, pero en mi caso eso no fuw problema.
El micrfono realmente suena muy bien, la calidad es super buena y el precio es una ganga.
It’s sturdy and good quality, but I didn’t really notice any difference between the multidirectional pickup patterns. The cardioid seemed to pick up an awful lot of noise behind the microphone too.
Blue Yeti has a good reputation, which is well deserved.
This Yeti Nano is smaller than the original Blue Yeti, but the quality is pretty much the same.
As the Nano is smaller, it is actually much nicer on your desk and easier to transport if needed.
I also like the fact that he has a more recent mini-USB plug on the microphone, instead of the old square USB on the original bigger Blue Yeti.
The on/off volume button at the front has a quality feel and is super easy to operate. It is also so useful to mute/unmute yourself during video call, without anyone noticing (as you don’t have to use the mute feature of the software like Zoom and so on).
The stand provided is strong and heavy and for my usage is enough. I have the microphone on my desk and don’t need an extra arm (even so I type on my keyboard during my videos call).
It is definitely worth paying the extra money to have such a quality microphone, as the sound quality now on my professional calls is so so so good!
Avant j’utilisais ma webcam ou mes couteurs, c’est donc la premire fois que j’utilise un vritable microphone. J’ai test ce micro sur Discord, et tout le monde m’entend super bien. On me reproch souvent avec ma webcam de parler dans mes toilettes. Maintenant c’est termin. J’ai choisi la version nano car je n’ai pas un grand bureau. Le micro est dj assez imposant comme a. Le prix me parait justifier, de plus il est trs prsent sur YouTube. Il est donc trs facile de trouver des vidos d’explications, de personnalisations sur YouTube. Je recommande ce micro tout ce qui veulent tre pris au srieux sur Discord.

I cannot tell the difference in sound quality. They are both excellent.
The nano is smaller, looks better and is cheaper. It does not have a physical gain control (could be useful in live performances or interviewing) and it does not have stereo or bidirectional modes. If you do not need those features, the nano is just a better mic in my opinion.
Tenemos este micrfono y tambin el Blue Yeti normal. Ambos nos gustan muchsimo, pero ahora necesitbamos algo ms discreto y este modelo fue una gran opcin. 100% recomendado.
Very good mic with a good app “Sherpa” but Sherpa has a lot of conflicts with other apps like Microsoft teams or csgo … It’s weird but u can fix it …. Still, great mic
This is a game changer for teaching and giving talks virtually. It’s not cheap but runs brilliantly and gives an almost professional quality sound that’s great for podcasts, lectures and any other kind of digital presenting. I did buy an additional pop filter just to shield it a bit and avoid creepy breathing sounds, but so glad I finally caved in and got it !
When I first got the microphone, I didn’t have too high of expectations on it’s sound and usability, but it was much better than I thought.
Although, to make it sounds it’s best, you will need to turn down the gain in the sound setting on your PC, but that’s not much of a problem!
Overall I am very content with the mic! It’s small, compact and has great sound isolation, definitely worth the money!

Sound quality is decent for default settings. On Linux there no drivers and in some instances electrical noises are being transmitted. On Windows it sometimes blink orange light until reconnected and official software does not detect it, so gain and other sound settings can’t be changed.
It’s fine for entry level streaming and voice recording but a little pricey for such poor software support.
Bought this for increasing need of zoom calls and also because I do a lot of temporary voice overs. It’s decent and worth the money but I’m not going to lie in saying I expected a bit more in terms of quality. If you can afford it go for the bigger Yeti I’d say!
Love how easy this mic is to set up and use! Great sound quality on zoom calls. Used for playing music – have to find the optimal distance from the mic and the volum and mix settings. If too close – a LOT of glitching. But at the right positioning, it worked really well. Ability to take out of the stand handy, as is the place to screw in a stand.

The mic is great – solid, nice piece of kit which sounds amazing.
But
And I know this is nitpicking but the supplied USB lead has one of those anti-noise thingys at the microphone end which (a) just looks horrible and (b) means that the lead doesn’t easily fit between the mic and the nice channel in the base designed specifically for the lead. I know its a small thing, but it’s going to annoy me every time I use the mic. Details really do matter!
Not enough to make me send it back, but enough to annoy me and to think, maybe, the price was too high!
Se ve de buena calidad, me hubiera gustado que tambin tuviera grabacin bidireccional, ya que solo es frontal y omnidireccional. En comparacin con otros incluso de la misma marca, es ligero y no tan grande. Funciona bien.

I no longer sound like a voice from a tin can. I have it on the desk and talk about 18″ away from it. I come in great and folks hear me fine. Should have upgraded years ago, I’d say this is MUST HAVE upgrade to any PC setup.
Pros:
-I like the style, sound, and ease of use of the microphone. It’s small enough to not really draw a lot of attention to it, yet it’s a major improvement over the mic on my webcam.
Cons:
-The volume knob on the front feels very cheap in comparison to the rest of the build. Spinning it for the first time I thought it was broken – it feels very cheap/hollow plasticky feeling. It does work as expected though.
-My other complaint, the mic doesn’t sit properly in the included stand and leans ever so slightly to the left. This isn’t a big deal, and something that can be remedied with a mic arm, but out of the box I wouldn’t expect this kind of QC issue on a new product at this price point.

This is a major step up in sound quality over the one built into my laptop. When I switched during a conference call, people commented on how much the sound had improved.
It’s dead easy to setup; plug and play, infant. I downloaded the accompanying software to ensure I was on the latest firmware and already was. No need to change any parameters; it worked brilliantly right out of the box.
Looks and feels really robust. I use it on the supplied desk stand and it works just fine.
I read some reviewed that said it picks up keyboard noise, but it’s a microphone; it’s bound to! It’ll pick any ambient noise, but In Reality, none of my conference call attendees found the sound distracting at all.
I found this mic really easy to setup and get going with. It’s a quality product and step changes your sound quality.
Having owned a Blue Snowball ice for over 10 years, which has always been geat, I only decided to trade-up because the connection at the back of the mic had become so loose over the years it sometimes came loose all together when I moved the boom arm.
I chose the Yeti Nano due to the incease from 1 condenser to 2, and the increase from the ice’s 16-bit/44kHz to the Nano’s 24-bit/48kHz.
It’s important for me to have a quality mic, as I broadcast a classical programme online a few times a week and stream at a high quality – 192kbps, so the mic has to match the quality of the music. The Yeti has not disappointed and is a noticeable improvement on the Snowball.
The Nano is crystal clear.
Unlike some who have said they may have received a returned or pre-used item, mine was definitely brand new with a box which had clearly never been opened.
I am delighted with the Nano and it’s quality and robust construction looks like it will last me another 10 years or more.
Okay I was a bit surprised that nobody else has reported this issue with this mic.
It turns out that Microsoft had introduced a new noise cancelling feature in Teams that continually alters the gain on your microphones!
I will add a picture here so you know where to turn this off if your also affected but basically lots of other people are complaining about their voice getting too quiet with other mics.
So it took me a while but I basically tracked it down to the flowing setting in the November 2020 teams update called ‘noise suppression’.
To turn off noise suppression in teams :
1. Open teams
2. Click on your status picture in the top tool bar, or right click on the teams logo in the windows task bar. Both do the same.
3. Click settings
4. Click devices
5. Scroll down to noise suppression
6. Choose OFF from the set of options
Now use any of the methods to set your microphone gain using Windows and the problem is resolved!
If the menu item isn’t available for you check you have teams version 1.3.00.30866 or greater.
** hopefully Microsoft will fix this in future and if they do I’ll update this review!

I cannot recommend this mic.
It is impossible to get a stable gain set in Windows 10.
The gain jumps up and down in value automatically and over a 15 minute period tunes itself towards 0.
This makes it impossible for people to hear you and until I restart Windows there is no way to set the gain again. Even if you set the gain slider on the device settings control itself, and try to hold it at say 80pct using your mouse, it still ignores your desired setting and jumps to 0.
Shame as it’s a great looking mic!

Not only the price is great. The microphone in design and sound and software are brilliant as well.
Cable comes from the bottom of the microphone, the stand has small hole at the bottom so cable management is perfect.
Sound is perfect. There are two options for voice capture so basically direct (when you speak directly to mic) and from all sides (probably for like podcast or something).
There are no problems with the sound what so ever, no echo, no humming, no static etc. Friend told me I sound lifelike through this mic as if I was next to him.
Mute button works easy, installation was easy, the software is nice and simple and works great.
It had a faulty but I had no problem at all to change it with the seller. I had to purchase some connection to connect it to Xbox, wasn’t in the recommendations.

Meine Erwartungen einen sehr guten Ton bei meinen Zoom Meetings und Zoom Vorlesungen zu haben, wurden voll erfllt. Die einstellbare Nierencharakteristik ist sehr gelungen, so kann ich den Ton per Lautsprecher laufen lassen ohne Rckkoppelungen zue bekommen.
I took me a good half an hour to get nano to work as i was having problems however after i looked my problems up it was all sorted very quickly, the sound quailty on this mic is amazing but it can pick up background noise very easily but thats sorted with tweaking the settings with its software. Voller Klang, auch geeignet mit der Kugelfunktion fr Meetings mit Videocall – in meinem Falle konnte ein Raum mit 20 Teilnehmern gut genug mit unseren Videocall-Partnern sprechen, um eine wirklich flssige Diskussion zu ermglichen. Unabhngig davon ist die Aufnahmequalitt zusammen mit zB OBS unglaublich voll und klar. Fr Streaming, Videokommentare etc. wirklich top! Und meine Partnerin, die Sngerin ist, empfindet beim Proben die Aufnahmen fr mindestens ebenbrtig mit dem Mikro des Gesangstrainers.

Achet pour enregistrer des vidos, j’ai t surpris par la qualit de ce micro. l’embase/pied est vraiment sable et limite les vibrations absorbes par la capsule. c’est un gros plus pour tre sur de ne pas entendre tout les petits bruits de type “souris qui glisse sur le bureau”
L’enregistrement de voix est clair et prcis. pas tonnant de la part de Blue qui a jusqu’ici toujours sur proposer des produits de qualit.
La possibilit de passer la directivit d’omnidirectionnelle cardioide permet de s’assurer d’une prise de son homogne et est trs pratique comme micro “centre de table” pour une petite interview ou une confrence par exemple.
Je l’ai achet suite une panne de mon Yti j’ai choisi la version allg plus petite que son grand frre parce que c’est suffisant pour mon utilisation. j’enregistre des Podcasts rgulirement.
J’apprcie la qualit sonore, la simplicit d’utilisation. On branche et a marche. J’apprcie la prise de monitoring direct.

Habe mir das Mikro primr zur Aufwertung meines Homeoffice gekauft, um bei Internet-Kommunikation mit einer mglichst guten Sprachqualitt rber zu kommen. Zu Lsungen wie Kopfhrer-Set des Handys, Ansteck-Mikrofon oder Mikro der Webcam ist das Yeti eine Riesen-Verbesserung. Mit der Richtcharakteristik gibt es auch wenig Raumhall. Durch den schweren Fu steht es sehr solide.
Estaba dudando entre un rode y este micrfono, pero lo encontr en oferta y la verdad es que no me arrepiento de nada. Ha sido muy sencillo de instalar y tiene una gran calidad. Desde la aplicacin puedes configurar el volumen. Yo lo uso para grabar mi voz y hasta el momento no ha presentado ninguna falla. Recomiendo que adquieran un antipop al momento de comprar el micrfono, ya que te ayuda mucho.
Este microfono me dejo sin palabras, esperaba una calidad aceptable pero la realidad es que tiene una calidad excelente, los materiales son de buenisima calidad, es un poco pesado por la montura de metal en la que esta montado pero con un adaptador de rosca lo puedes poner en cualquier brazo, la calidad del sonido es excelente, sin editar el audio esta perfecto pero si le agregas edicin te sale algo mas profesional 100% recomendable

Ottimo microfono per le registrazioni audio facile da usare non occorre nessun software per l’installazione il PC riconosce in automatico il microfono, ottime dimensioni per chi ha poco spazio o desidera portarlo in giro per registrare fuori casa/ufficio.
Bought for the new world where I need to present online and built in speakers on the Mac are very good but this is that much better for speaking, voice over powerpoint. Will get into garage band soon and test out more sophisticated use cases. It is so simple to set up and use, looks good and generally this is what I had expected. There is a wide range of prices and models in the market but Yeti is so highly regarded in reviews I felt that this was a good choice.
This product was simply because I wanted a microphone to go with my new studio headphones for both gaming and business calls. The stand is amazing, almost entirely made of metal with a plastic clamp system to screw it onto the microphone. I removed mine from the stand and put it onto a boom arm using the supplied adaptor to the standard thread. The sound quality is perfect, maybe there could be more controls in the software however it is a USB microphone, if you need to have more control over the EQ and other effects, get an XLR with a mixer and that will be far more benefitial.
Negatives are that the microphone has very little adjustment on the boom arm, there is no way to angle it exactly as you want unless mounted directly 90 degrees from your face. Also, it is a little unfortunate that the volume button on the microphone is for headphones as I have studio headphones that are wired into an amplifier instead so it is not used at all. Finally, the mute button is often hard to press resulting in the mic picking up noise and that being very loud for anyone on the other end.
This microphone is not intended for studio use and is good for YouTube voice overs, gaming, streaming, Skype, discord and other social media however would struggle as a podcast mic or for recording vocals.

Ero in cerca di un microfono, e sono cascato nel blue yeti nano cos ho deciso de prenderlo, molto buono ha la qualit di un blue yeti l’unica pecca che non ha la manopola del gain ed ha poche modalit (cardioide e omnidirezionale) per visto il suo prezzo perfetto consiglio tantissimo l’acquisto (se serve visto che costa comunque 120 euro). Molto soddisfatto.
Lo compr para mi canal de YouTube y es fantstico, me encanta el sonido. Adems me ha sido muy til para grabar mis cursos, cuando grabo pantalla en la computadora activo el audio de Blue Yeti y el sonido mejora bastante, lo cual era un problema porque siempre se escuchaba el sonido de la computadora (cuando se calienta demasiado). Adems es esttico y pequeo. Me encanta!
Habe mein altes “Auna 900B” nun durch das “Blue Yeti Nano” ersetzt und bin mehr als zufrieden damit. Ein paar Tutorials angeschaut um die besten Einstellungen fr meine Bedrfnisse zu finden und der Klang ist einfach grandios. Wer Qualitt will nimmt halt ein paar Euros mehr in die Hand wird aber letzlich genauso happy mit dem Ergebnis sein wie ich.

Me sorprendi mucho cuando lo prob el primer da, lo bien que se escucha y todo, Tiene para poner unos auriculares o cascos al propio micrfono y as escuchar tu voz. Con la ruedita puedes ajustar el volumen con el que quieres escucharte en el micrfono solamente y dos patrones de captacin de sonido, uno para escucharte mayormente por la parte de alante y el otro en cualquier direccin. Tiene un cable usb para conectarlo al ordenador y es suficientemente largo, por si se quisiese usar con un brazo de esos que es para apoyar el micrfono.
Me gusta el sonido, el problema es que capta demasiadas frecuencias y en el lugar que estoy tengo que grabar con la ganancia a 1 literalmente. De ah en fuera todo bien, el micrfono es muy bonito y conecta automticamente a la computadora y no hay nada de retardo en el monitoreo del audio.

PROBLEME Yeti Nano SUR Mac OS 10.4.6
Le premier jour que je l’utilise tout va bien, je branche mon casque sur la prise audio du micro. J’entends le son immdiatement. Au dbut j’utilise l’application trs basique Dictaphone, puis Audacity…. Puis pour des raisons que j’ignore, la prise son sur le micro ne fonctionne plus.
Dans les paramtres systmes : sortie Yeti, entre Yeti. La sortie son est celle du systme mais l’coute de son capt en temps rel ne marche plus.
Donc pour trouver une solution sous Audacity j’active dans prfrence :
[] Lecture de l’entre travers le logiciel
et cela marche pas vraiment bien puisqu’il y a un temps de latence.
DEBUT DE SOLUTION
J’installe Garage Band et la fonction remarche ?! j’entends le son en temps rel …. quand j’appuie sur le bouton Mute le son se coupe et quand je presse nouveau cela remarchele niveau de gain marche aussi.
Quand Garage Band est excut je lance Audacity et le son est en temps rel refonctionne mais avec cho. Il suffit de dsactiver “Lecture de l’entre travers le logiciel”.
CONCLUSION
Si la prise audio sur le micro ne marche plus (pour l’enregistrement) ce n’est pas un problme matriel.
Peut-tre que l’diteur du logiciel trouvera une solution …. (je crois que Blue t rachet par Logictech)….
When I got this mic I was really happy with package. Not premium feel but you can feel quality even when you hold mic in your hands. Some people say its plastic feel but I didn’t had this feeling. Only thing is that in my case this mic is pluged in my pc 24/7 and sometimes Pc doesn’t recognize it and gain automaticlly goes to 100% and its really annoying and loud for other people. When you launch Blue program you can’t controll gain because pc is not recognizing the mic so you have to restart the pc and I find this kinda annoying. Everything else for 99 is amazing!
I purchased this product to use for recording audio trainings for my health program, and it works perfectly. The sound is clear and crisp – so much better than speaking into my headphones like I used to do! It’s easy to use as you just plug it into your laptop, do a quick installation and you’re ready to go. The size of the microphone is good too as it easily fits on your desk, and it’s easy to just pop in a desk drawer to store.

When I put it on mute, the button goes red.
When I unmuted it, the button goes off. No green light.
Die Soundqualitt reicht super fr den Alltag aus, doch ohne Nachbearbeitung ist dennoch ein kleines Rauschen zur hren. Das wird aber keinem Normalverbraucher auffallen.
Mein Problem gab es beim Transport dieses schnen Mikrofons.
Man kann das Mikrofon um 180 Grad drehen, damit es kompakter wird. Bei mir ist leider der Micro-USB Anschluss sofort verbogen, da ich vergessen hab, das Kabel rauszuziehen.. Mein Fehler, dennoch habe ich nicht viel Kraft angewendet und der Anschluss im Gert hataich verbogen.. Funktioniert immerhin noch 🙂

I recently purchased this mic to use for recording voiceovers for videos I make, commentary during gameplay and also for recording instruments.
I have to say this mic excels at all three!
Firstly, I was impressed by the ease of installation. I run a windows system and as soon as I plugged in the mic, it was recognised, installed and was ready to go. I tested it with a variety of audio programs and was able to use it with no hassle in all of them.
The Nano has less features than the original Yeti, but if you are solely looking for a mic for gaming/Youtube/podcasts etc, I highly recommend this mic. Sound-wise I have heard no difference between the two in test videos I researched and the two recording settings the Nano offers are more than suitable for most situations.
The Nano is compact, a lot smaller than the original Yeti, and its build quality is very nice, even though it may look a little “plasticy”. Once plugged in it is pretty much ready to go, though I would recommend playing with a few settings such as gain to find the sweet spot for you. I am still doing this myself, though the sound I got straight away from the mic was well above anything I have previously recorded with a headset.
As for gaming, this mic will pick up your keyboard and mouse. How loud they will come across is dependant on your setup. I suggest a mic stand to avoid vibrations from using your kayboard. I also purchased a pop filter with mine and would put this down as a must to prevent yourself headaches when recording p’s and other “pop” letters. Having the mic away from my desk and in front of the keyboard has made it significantly quieter.
All in all I highly recommend the Nano, for the sound quality alone!
Couldn’t recommend this any more. Best quality mic for the price out there. It’s chrisp, easy to use, and works like a charm. Having the led indicator helps a lot as with past mics I was just chatting to nobody on discord because I didn’t realize my mic had muted itself!
Compared to a Blue Snowball this is much better. I used to record voice overs for online presentations and the sound quality is more than adequate for the purpose.

Es un micrfono fcil de usar e ideal para podcasts y streamings. Compar el yeti nano con el micrfono de mi telfono, del computador y el de los auriculares y me sorprendi la calidad que tiene. La prueba ms notable fue cuando toqu la armnica y la guitarra, se nota al instante su capacidad de captar tonos graves y agudos.
No dira que es el mejor micrfono pero cumple perfectamente su funcin y est a un precio razonable.

No requiere configuracin, lo conectas y lo usas. Yo lo uso para videoconferencias y todas las aplicaciones que he usado lo reconocen sin problemas, solo en alguna necesitas designarlo como el micrfono de la sesin, adems no necesito usar audfonos, a menos que requiera privacidad.
Haba probado los Hyper X pero fue este el que me convenci, sobre todo por su software, es un verdadero plus para el micrfono.

Ich benutze das Mikrofon fr meinen Onlinekurs. Bin also dabei auf meiner Matte vor der Kamera und das Mikrofon steht meistens vor mir am Boden. Laut meinen Kursteilnehmern bin ich sehr gut zu verstehen (kein Rauschen, keine abgehackten Sequenzen). Daher habe ich den Kauf nicht bereut. Fr meine Zwecke reicht es es sehr gut. Anschlieen war ebefalls easy: Stecker ans Laptop – fertig.
Ein wirklich tolles Produkt. Ich habe es gnstiger ber die Resterrampe vom Amazon erhalten und bin sehr zufrieden. Trotz fehlenden Popschutz ist die Qualitt sehr gut. Die kompatible Sherpa Software von BLUE rundet das Gesamtpaket sehr gut ab. Damit lassen sich kleine Feinschliffe wie Rauschunterdrckung ttigen.
Ho comprato questo microfono per fare podcast. Purtroppo aveva un problema ma l’azienda me lo ha sostituito al volo senza troppi problemi. Per questo ho messo il massimo dei voti, perch anche l’assistenza della casa madre stata ottima. Col nuovo microfono nessun problema e ottima resa del suono.
Realmente estoy contento con esta compra, lo utilizo en un iPad Pro y suena genial, pero deben considerar que no se utiliza de la misma manera que en computadora, por ejemplo la ganancia no se puede modificar en el ipad por lo que al utilizarlo en el iPad debo hacercar mucho el micrfono a mi boca, pero en mi caso eso no fuw problema.

It’s sturdy and good quality, but I didn’t really notice any difference between the multidirectional pickup patterns. The cardioid seemed to pick up an awful lot of noise behind the microphone too.

Blue Yeti has a good reputation, which is well deserved.
This Yeti Nano is smaller than the original Blue Yeti, but the quality is pretty much the same.
As the Nano is smaller, it is actually much nicer on your desk and easier to transport if needed.
I also like the fact that he has a more recent mini-USB plug on the microphone, instead of the old square USB on the original bigger Blue Yeti.
The on/off volume button at the front has a quality feel and is super easy to operate. It is also so useful to mute/unmute yourself during video call, without anyone noticing (as you don’t have to use the mute feature of the software like Zoom and so on).
The stand provided is strong and heavy and for my usage is enough. I have the microphone on my desk and don’t need an extra arm (even so I type on my keyboard during my videos call).
It is definitely worth paying the extra money to have such a quality microphone, as the sound quality now on my professional calls is so so so good!

Avant j’utilisais ma webcam ou mes couteurs, c’est donc la premire fois que j’utilise un vritable microphone. J’ai test ce micro sur Discord, et tout le monde m’entend super bien. On me reproch souvent avec ma webcam de parler dans mes toilettes. Maintenant c’est termin. J’ai choisi la version nano car je n’ai pas un grand bureau. Le micro est dj assez imposant comme a. Le prix me parait justifier, de plus il est trs prsent sur YouTube. Il est donc trs facile de trouver des vidos d’explications, de personnalisations sur YouTube. Je recommande ce micro tout ce qui veulent tre pris au srieux sur Discord.

I cannot tell the difference in sound quality. They are both excellent.
The nano is smaller, looks better and is cheaper. It does not have a physical gain control (could be useful in live performances or interviewing) and it does not have stereo or bidirectional modes. If you do not need those features, the nano is just a better mic in my opinion.

Very good mic with a good app “Sherpa” but Sherpa has a lot of conflicts with other apps like Microsoft teams or csgo … It’s weird but u can fix it …. Still, great mic
This is a game changer for teaching and giving talks virtually. It’s not cheap but runs brilliantly and gives an almost professional quality sound that’s great for podcasts, lectures and any other kind of digital presenting. I did buy an additional pop filter just to shield it a bit and avoid creepy breathing sounds, but so glad I finally caved in and got it !
When I first got the microphone, I didn’t have too high of expectations on it’s sound and usability, but it was much better than I thought.
Although, to make it sounds it’s best, you will need to turn down the gain in the sound setting on your PC, but that’s not much of a problem!
Overall I am very content with the mic! It’s small, compact and has great sound isolation, definitely worth the money!

What can i say, works a dream, sound quality is top notch and the profile is nice and small. Recommended
Sound quality is decent for default settings. On Linux there no drivers and in some instances electrical noises are being transmitted. On Windows it sometimes blink orange light until reconnected and official software does not detect it, so gain and other sound settings can’t be changed.
It’s fine for entry level streaming and voice recording but a little pricey for such poor software support.
Bought this for increasing need of zoom calls and also because I do a lot of temporary voice overs. It’s decent and worth the money but I’m not going to lie in saying I expected a bit more in terms of quality. If you can afford it go for the bigger Yeti I’d say!
Love how easy this mic is to set up and use! Great sound quality on zoom calls. Used for playing music – have to find the optimal distance from the mic and the volum and mix settings. If too close – a LOT of glitching. But at the right positioning, it worked really well. Ability to take out of the stand handy, as is the place to screw in a stand.

The mic is great – solid, nice piece of kit which sounds amazing.
But
And I know this is nitpicking but the supplied USB lead has one of those anti-noise thingys at the microphone end which (a) just looks horrible and (b) means that the lead doesn’t easily fit between the mic and the nice channel in the base designed specifically for the lead. I know its a small thing, but it’s going to annoy me every time I use the mic. Details really do matter!
Not enough to make me send it back, but enough to annoy me and to think, maybe, the price was too high!

I no longer sound like a voice from a tin can. I have it on the desk and talk about 18″ away from it. I come in great and folks hear me fine. Should have upgraded years ago, I’d say this is MUST HAVE upgrade to any PC setup.
Pros:
-I like the style, sound, and ease of use of the microphone. It’s small enough to not really draw a lot of attention to it, yet it’s a major improvement over the mic on my webcam.
Cons:
-The volume knob on the front feels very cheap in comparison to the rest of the build. Spinning it for the first time I thought it was broken – it feels very cheap/hollow plasticky feeling. It does work as expected though.
-My other complaint, the mic doesn’t sit properly in the included stand and leans ever so slightly to the left. This isn’t a big deal, and something that can be remedied with a mic arm, but out of the box I wouldn’t expect this kind of QC issue on a new product at this price point.

It’s dead easy to setup; plug and play, infant. I downloaded the accompanying software to ensure I was on the latest firmware and already was. No need to change any parameters; it worked brilliantly right out of the box.
Looks and feels really robust. I use it on the supplied desk stand and it works just fine.
I read some reviewed that said it picks up keyboard noise, but it’s a microphone; it’s bound to! It’ll pick any ambient noise, but In Reality, none of my conference call attendees found the sound distracting at all.
I found this mic really easy to setup and get going with. It’s a quality product and step changes your sound quality.

Having owned a Blue Snowball ice for over 10 years, which has always been geat, I only decided to trade-up because the connection at the back of the mic had become so loose over the years it sometimes came loose all together when I moved the boom arm.
I chose the Yeti Nano due to the incease from 1 condenser to 2, and the increase from the ice’s 16-bit/44kHz to the Nano’s 24-bit/48kHz.
It’s important for me to have a quality mic, as I broadcast a classical programme online a few times a week and stream at a high quality – 192kbps, so the mic has to match the quality of the music. The Yeti has not disappointed and is a noticeable improvement on the Snowball.
The Nano is crystal clear.
Unlike some who have said they may have received a returned or pre-used item, mine was definitely brand new with a box which had clearly never been opened.
I am delighted with the Nano and it’s quality and robust construction looks like it will last me another 10 years or more.
Okay I was a bit surprised that nobody else has reported this issue with this mic.
It turns out that Microsoft had introduced a new noise cancelling feature in Teams that continually alters the gain on your microphones!
I will add a picture here so you know where to turn this off if your also affected but basically lots of other people are complaining about their voice getting too quiet with other mics.
So it took me a while but I basically tracked it down to the flowing setting in the November 2020 teams update called ‘noise suppression’.
To turn off noise suppression in teams :
1. Open teams
2. Click on your status picture in the top tool bar, or right click on the teams logo in the windows task bar. Both do the same.
3. Click settings
4. Click devices
5. Scroll down to noise suppression
6. Choose OFF from the set of options
Now use any of the methods to set your microphone gain using Windows and the problem is resolved!
If the menu item isn’t available for you check you have teams version 1.3.00.30866 or greater.
** hopefully Microsoft will fix this in future and if they do I’ll update this review!

I cannot recommend this mic.
It is impossible to get a stable gain set in Windows 10.
The gain jumps up and down in value automatically and over a 15 minute period tunes itself towards 0.
This makes it impossible for people to hear you and until I restart Windows there is no way to set the gain again. Even if you set the gain slider on the device settings control itself, and try to hold it at say 80pct using your mouse, it still ignores your desired setting and jumps to 0.
Shame as it’s a great looking mic!
La calidad del sonido que registra el micrfono es muy buena en reuniones con varios participantes, manteniendo ampliamente las distancias de seguridad por el COVID.

Cable comes from the bottom of the microphone, the stand has small hole at the bottom so cable management is perfect.
Sound is perfect. There are two options for voice capture so basically direct (when you speak directly to mic) and from all sides (probably for like podcast or something).
There are no problems with the sound what so ever, no echo, no humming, no static etc. Friend told me I sound lifelike through this mic as if I was next to him.
Mute button works easy, installation was easy, the software is nice and simple and works great.
10/10 Would recommend to anyone.

I took me a good half an hour to get nano to work as i was having problems however after i looked my problems up it was all sorted very quickly, the sound quailty on this mic is amazing but it can pick up background noise very easily but thats sorted with tweaking the settings with its software. Voller Klang, auch geeignet mit der Kugelfunktion fr Meetings mit Videocall – in meinem Falle konnte ein Raum mit 20 Teilnehmern gut genug mit unseren Videocall-Partnern sprechen, um eine wirklich flssige Diskussion zu ermglichen. Unabhngig davon ist die Aufnahmequalitt zusammen mit zB OBS unglaublich voll und klar. Fr Streaming, Videokommentare etc. wirklich top! Habe mir das Mikro primr zur Aufwertung meines Homeoffice gekauft, um bei Internet-Kommunikation mit einer mglichst guten Sprachqualitt rber zu kommen. Zu Lsungen wie Kopfhrer-Set des Handys, Ansteck-Mikrofon oder Mikro der Webcam ist das Yeti eine Riesen-Verbesserung. Mit der Richtcharakteristik gibt es auch wenig Raumhall. Durch den schweren Fu steht es sehr solide.
Estaba dudando entre un rode y este micrfono, pero lo encontr en oferta y la verdad es que no me arrepiento de nada. Ha sido muy sencillo de instalar y tiene una gran calidad. Desde la aplicacin puedes configurar el volumen. Yo lo uso para grabar mi voz y hasta el momento no ha presentado ninguna falla. Recomiendo que adquieran un antipop al momento de comprar el micrfono, ya que te ayuda mucho.
Este microfono me dejo sin palabras, esperaba una calidad aceptable pero la realidad es que tiene una calidad excelente, los materiales son de buenisima calidad, es un poco pesado por la montura de metal en la que esta montado pero con un adaptador de rosca lo puedes poner en cualquier brazo, la calidad del sonido es excelente, sin editar el audio esta perfecto pero si le agregas edicin te sale algo mas profesional 100% recomendable

Dadurch ist es auch fr Videokonferenzen gut geeignet, wo das Mikrofon nicht den ganzen Platz vor dem Bildschirm einnehmen soll. Ausgesprochen schick sieht es auerdem aus.
No soy un gran entendido en sonido, pero el resultado es perfecto para lo que necesito.

Ottimo microfono per le registrazioni audio facile da usare non occorre nessun software per l’installazione il PC riconosce in automatico il microfono, ottime dimensioni per chi ha poco spazio o desidera portarlo in giro per registrare fuori casa/ufficio.
Fantastic mic sounds great and is an upgrade from my last the sound quality is brilliant.
Negatives are that the microphone has very little adjustment on the boom arm, there is no way to angle it exactly as you want unless mounted directly 90 degrees from your face. Also, it is a little unfortunate that the volume button on the microphone is for headphones as I have studio headphones that are wired into an amplifier instead so it is not used at all. Finally, the mute button is often hard to press resulting in the mic picking up noise and that being very loud for anyone on the other end.
This microphone is not intended for studio use and is good for YouTube voice overs, gaming, streaming, Skype, discord and other social media however would struggle as a podcast mic or for recording vocals.

Ero in cerca di un microfono, e sono cascato nel blue yeti nano cos ho deciso de prenderlo, molto buono ha la qualit di un blue yeti l’unica pecca che non ha la manopola del gain ed ha poche modalit (cardioide e omnidirezionale) per visto il suo prezzo perfetto consiglio tantissimo l’acquisto (se serve visto che costa comunque 120 euro). Molto soddisfatto.
Lo compr para mi canal de YouTube y es fantstico, me encanta el sonido. Adems me ha sido muy til para grabar mis cursos, cuando grabo pantalla en la computadora activo el audio de Blue Yeti y el sonido mejora bastante, lo cual era un problema porque siempre se escuchaba el sonido de la computadora (cuando se calienta demasiado). Adems es esttico y pequeo. Me encanta!
Habe mein altes “Auna 900B” nun durch das “Blue Yeti Nano” ersetzt und bin mehr als zufrieden damit. Ein paar Tutorials angeschaut um die besten Einstellungen fr meine Bedrfnisse zu finden und der Klang ist einfach grandios. Wer Qualitt will nimmt halt ein paar Euros mehr in die Hand wird aber letzlich genauso happy mit dem Ergebnis sein wie ich.
Auslieferung durch Amazon mal wieder superschnell und zuverlssig wie immer.
Wollte erst ein teureres Gert nehmen, was sich jedoch nicht gelohnt htte. Das Mikrofon ist super.

Me sorprendi mucho cuando lo prob el primer da, lo bien que se escucha y todo, Tiene para poner unos auriculares o cascos al propio micrfono y as escuchar tu voz. Con la ruedita puedes ajustar el volumen con el que quieres escucharte en el micrfono solamente y dos patrones de captacin de sonido, uno para escucharte mayormente por la parte de alante y el otro en cualquier direccin. Tiene un cable usb para conectarlo al ordenador y es suficientemente largo, por si se quisiese usar con un brazo de esos que es para apoyar el micrfono.
Me gusta el sonido, el problema es que capta demasiadas frecuencias y en el lugar que estoy tengo que grabar con la ganancia a 1 literalmente. De ah en fuera todo bien, el micrfono es muy bonito y conecta automticamente a la computadora y no hay nada de retardo en el monitoreo del audio.

PROBLEME Yeti Nano SUR Mac OS 10.4.6
Le premier jour que je l’utilise tout va bien, je branche mon casque sur la prise audio du micro. J’entends le son immdiatement. Au dbut j’utilise l’application trs basique Dictaphone, puis Audacity…. Puis pour des raisons que j’ignore, la prise son sur le micro ne fonctionne plus.
Dans les paramtres systmes : sortie Yeti, entre Yeti. La sortie son est celle du systme mais l’coute de son capt en temps rel ne marche plus.
Donc pour trouver une solution sous Audacity j’active dans prfrence :
[] Lecture de l’entre travers le logiciel
et cela marche pas vraiment bien puisqu’il y a un temps de latence.
DEBUT DE SOLUTION
J’installe Garage Band et la fonction remarche ?! j’entends le son en temps rel …. quand j’appuie sur le bouton Mute le son se coupe et quand je presse nouveau cela remarchele niveau de gain marche aussi.
Quand Garage Band est excut je lance Audacity et le son est en temps rel refonctionne mais avec cho. Il suffit de dsactiver “Lecture de l’entre travers le logiciel”.
CONCLUSION
Si la prise audio sur le micro ne marche plus (pour l’enregistrement) ce n’est pas un problme matriel.
Peut-tre que l’diteur du logiciel trouvera une solution …. (je crois que Blue t rachet par Logictech)….
El micrfono funciona genial pero me han surgido dos problemas:
Para empezar el paquete vino usado, cosa que Amazn compens.
El cable del micrfono estaba daado, que Amazn tambin compenso, lo bueno es que es un simple cable USB – MicroUSB.
When I got this mic I was really happy with package. Not premium feel but you can feel quality even when you hold mic in your hands. Some people say its plastic feel but I didn’t had this feeling. Only thing is that in my case this mic is pluged in my pc 24/7 and sometimes Pc doesn’t recognize it and gain automaticlly goes to 100% and its really annoying and loud for other people. When you launch Blue program you can’t controll gain because pc is not recognizing the mic so you have to restart the pc and I find this kinda annoying. Everything else for 99 is amazing!
I purchased this product to use for recording audio trainings for my health program, and it works perfectly. The sound is clear and crisp – so much better than speaking into my headphones like I used to do! It’s easy to use as you just plug it into your laptop, do a quick installation and you’re ready to go. The size of the microphone is good too as it easily fits on your desk, and it’s easy to just pop in a desk drawer to store.
We are using this to do voice overs for websites and personalized CDs for Christmas presents. It is far superior to anything we have used before.

Unfortunatly, my volume (mute) button have a problem.
When I put it on mute, the button goes red.
When I unmuted it, the button goes off. No green light.
Mein Problem gab es beim Transport dieses schnen Mikrofons.
Man kann das Mikrofon um 180 Grad drehen, damit es kompakter wird. Bei mir ist leider der Micro-USB Anschluss sofort verbogen, da ich vergessen hab, das Kabel rauszuziehen.. Mein Fehler, dennoch habe ich nicht viel Kraft angewendet und der Anschluss im Gert hataich verbogen.. Funktioniert immerhin noch 🙂
Really good quality microphone for talking to people and streaming, slightly tinny sound in some of the mids and highs. Overal, would highly recommend.
I have to say this mic excels at all three!
Firstly, I was impressed by the ease of installation. I run a windows system and as soon as I plugged in the mic, it was recognised, installed and was ready to go. I tested it with a variety of audio programs and was able to use it with no hassle in all of them.
The Nano has less features than the original Yeti, but if you are solely looking for a mic for gaming/Youtube/podcasts etc, I highly recommend this mic. Sound-wise I have heard no difference between the two in test videos I researched and the two recording settings the Nano offers are more than suitable for most situations.
The Nano is compact, a lot smaller than the original Yeti, and its build quality is very nice, even though it may look a little “plasticy”. Once plugged in it is pretty much ready to go, though I would recommend playing with a few settings such as gain to find the sweet spot for you. I am still doing this myself, though the sound I got straight away from the mic was well above anything I have previously recorded with a headset.
As for gaming, this mic will pick up your keyboard and mouse. How loud they will come across is dependant on your setup. I suggest a mic stand to avoid vibrations from using your kayboard. I also purchased a pop filter with mine and would put this down as a must to prevent yourself headaches when recording p’s and other “pop” letters. Having the mic away from my desk and in front of the keyboard has made it significantly quieter.
All in all I highly recommend the Nano, for the sound quality alone!
