Needed a new strimmer to replace my Qualcast which had “died” after quite a few year’s hard use ! Needed a more powerful machine than those usually on offer.
Although a different colour, blue instead of green, this appears to be exactly the same as the one I am replacing.
Hopefully it will provide as good a service as its predecessor !
So very, very happy with my purchase. My last strimmer was a nightmare and just wouldn’t cut through anything, no power to it. This strimmer however is ideal. Due to illness, bad weather &
work the weeds in the top of my garden were massive, no way in this world my lawn mower would’ve went through them. I took my strimmer to them and it was not a problem at all. Cuts the edges neatly, it’s lightweight and easy to hold. It’s very easy to get new wire when it’s needed. Would definitely recommend this strimmer to all.
This does a good job of rough grass but it could really do with a strap or cradle, it weighs a ton. If youre only using it to trim edges or small areas this wont matter mind. Does as good a job on small areas as my small petrol trimmer.

Takes the backache out of strumming
I use this machine as a lawn edger. The tool leaves a first class edge I now have to tidy up my edges to get the full benefit. I have no hesitation in recommending a blue ridge trimmer to my friends.
Had this for quite some time now. Impressed with performance especially battery life. Took me a while to convert from strimmer to edger because I couldn’t fathom the instructions. Lol. Now that I have mastered that simple process, delighted with it! Highly recommended. Battery also fits my cordless mouse sander. Added bonus.
Amazing compared to others I’ve had in the past, nice and light so your back lasts a bit longer, the angle cutting though is the way toward, was very happy with the price too.
It is a first rate , fairly heavy duty device , it does a very good job too, can feel a little heavy after prolonged use , but you won’t get a better , stronger Strimmer for the price in my view

Very good product and cuts the digest without any problems. It also cut long grass.
Was surprised at the added wheels to do edges, the tucked away spare spool is a nice touch. This product is nicely finished and does the job.
I have stopped buy brand leaders and prefer to try makes i have not previously heard of. I have a UlePhone smartphone, my MP3 is Houmi now this Blue Ridge strimmer. comes in a plain cardboard box so not wasting money and packaging and only 64
This strimmer has plenty of power even for the toughest of grass.

Great trimmer only one screw to hold gard plus two to hold shaft, good length of cord for maines, but mine is out side.
great machine. good power, as near to a petrol model as you can get.
Biggest problem is registering for the three year warranty – the website is not secure (my computer would not allow me on the site) telephoned registered company who denied any responsibility, so beware if something goes wrong!
